Hey what’s up youtube in this video i’m showing you how to make a shark house no no i know what you’re thinking this isn’t a house for a shark this is a shark house you guys get it now i do feel as though that i should give the man that made This happen a shout out the only reason that i actually made this video is because of one potentially insane subscriber that really really really wanted this and i thought it’d be a cool idea also and here we are this is a shark head coming out of the ocean and It’s also a house as well let’s get to it shall we oh also if you do have any more building related needs check out the card system and the description below and i’ll be leaving a couple of links to some weirder builds that i’ve made in the past that i think that you Guys may be interested in i figure if you like this you probably want to check out some of the stranger things that i’ve made rather than let’s say my police station but if you want to make the shark head house here’s what you’re going to need grab yourself some light gray wool And some dark gray wool we’ll also need some block of quartz and grab yourself some magenta stain clay you’ll also want to grab yourself some black wool and we will need loads of stuff but we’ll just have to grab it as we need it so once you have each one of these Materials right here and once you’ve figured out where you want to make it and by the way you don’t have to make it in a water you can make it on dry land and then if you like you can then like build water and beaches and stuff around It but i thought it’d be cool if i kind of like built this out in the wild and i think that this is a perfect spot for it so you can build it out on land if you want and i’ll show you how that looks a little later on because i built my Original on the grass but i’m going to build this one in the water and see how it looks so once you have each one in materials once you’ve figured out where you want to make it this is how you want to kick it off place a single light gray Wall just above the water or wherever you’re building it and from that light gray wall you want to like looking down on it you want to do like four left diagonals going that way so it’s kind of like one two three four then you want to take this fourth up Left diagonal and go backwards by one then do like another up left diagonal so a diagonal going this way you then want to do 13 dark gray walls still going backwards so that’s one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen you then want to do Four like inward diagonals so that’s like one two three and four you then want to go left this way of that fourth inward diagonal by six that’s one two three four five six then you want to do four more diagonals kind of like going outwards towards backing ourselves so we want to do One two three four then we want to continuing to go back on ourselves from this fourth block we want to do a row of twelve that’s one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve then we want to do a light gray wall Then we kind of like want to do an inward diagonal coming towards us then it come towards us by one we then want to do four inward diagonals that’s one two three and four and then go left until you connect back on yourself so this is the Sort of shape that you want and this is the sort of shape that your shark head is going to end up like that’s exactly how it’s going to end up looking now once you have this shape this is what you want to do next so we now want to Come all the way over to these very back light gray walls so these single light grey was right at the back and on top of these two dark gray walls behind that light gray stack light grey walls then on top of this left hand back light Gray we want to go up by two we then want to like looking at the shock from this perspective want to do two upright diagonals that’s one two then from that second upright diagonal we want to do an inward diagonal coming towards the center of the shark mouth like that We then want to do an upright diagonal from that diagonal you then want to do five like inward diagonals going that way so that’ll be one two three four five we then want to go right of this fifth diagonal by two we then want to do like five inward Diagonals going at that direction so that’ll be like one two three four and five we then want to do a bottom right diagonal from this fifth inward diagonal and we just want to like from this perspective looking over that we want to do a bottom right diagonal And then we want to do like an outward diagonal from this coming backwards and then we want to do two bottom right diagonals that’ll be one and that’ll be two then we want to go down by two and then left by one once you hit the bottom Of the mouth so you want to have something which should look a little bit like that and that is kind of like the shape of the shark’s mouth and that’s one of the harder things to do believe it or not that is quite a difficult Thing to do for mr shark so what we then want to do is we want to come to the very back of the shark here so come to the very back of the shark and you can see where we have like this row of 13 dark grey wolf well from this 13th block We want to do we want to do six upper right diagonals from this 13th block so that’s one two three four five six and then we want to connect it all the way to the front of the shock and it should just connect over that one light gray block like that so Can you see where we have like that inward diagonal with the light gray wall that is where the dark gray wall block wants to connect and that just forms the side of the shark also do that to the opposite side of the shark since we are establishing kind of like the shape of It so we want to take this back 13th block and we want to do six up left diagonals from the sun that’s one two three four five six and then we want to go left of this block until it kind of like overlaps the side of the shock like that and there You go you can see that we’re kind of like changing the shape of the shot now you can see how this is getting built up a little bit so what do we want to do next you’re probably wondering to yourselves well we want to Go up on top of each one of these light gray walls that we have right at the top of the shark like where the drawers and we want to place a dark gray wool on top of them like so and what you can do is you can take those back Top dark gray walls and you can extend them coming towards the back of the shock and they just want to be in the line with the like the row of dark grey wall that we placed earlier so in line with those six diagonals that is how far back The dark grey wall wants to come and now we’re just going to build up the top of the shark’s head and this is a pretty complicated shape guys so you’ll have to bear with me it’s kind of difficult to explain as well it really is so What you want to do next is we kind of just want to build another layer of dark gray on top of the shark and this just wants to be one light inwards and one layer higher than the previous layer of the shock so can you see what I’m talking about just one layer inwards and one layer higher than the previous part of the shark and this is just going to establish kind of like the curved nature of the shark’s head and it’s also going to give us a place to put the eyes And it’s just going to shape the shark’s head a little bit nicer than it already is and what we can also do what we want to do here is we can so can you see where we have these two kind of like middle diagonal dark gray wall blocks Well you want to connect these together at the corners like the inside corners to form like little right angles like this and this is just going to help us form the shape of the shark’s head a little bit more and what we also want to do is we just behind these two blocks Like behind this block that we just placed upwards diagonally we want to place a quartz block then left of that a black wool left of that a block of quartz also place a quartz on top of the black and that is one of the sharks eyes that’s the Positioning for the eye on the left hand side and on the right hand side it’s the same so on the right hand side directly behind where we place this dark grey wall block we want to place a block of quartz behind it then right of that a Black wall right of that block of quartz and on top of the black we also want to place a quartz so that is where you want to have the shark’s eyes and that is once again going to help us just build up the uh build up the shock just a Little bit here so what we now want to do is one block higher and one block inwards in relation to the original uh in in relation to the previous part the shock we now kind of just want to build up this layer a little bit this Layer is going to look a little bit more squarey it’s going to look a little bit more squarish than the previous part of the shock but that’s just the nature of this that is just the nature of the shot because we do have the eyes and because We do have to shape it and because we do have to have like a rounded blood fat but flat surface we want to have a shape which should look a little bit like this it looks a little bit more like an arrow now doesn’t it well the next layer of Dark gray wool is going to once again go one row higher and one row inwards in relation to the previously except this time we’re going to completely fill in the top of this empty area at the top of the shock and that is as high as the Elec shark’s head is going to go of course the fin or whatever it’s called it’s called the thin isn’t it the bit on top of the shark the big giant shark fin the bit that you kind of fear seeing whilst you’re swimming around in the ocean that is Obviously going to be higher but this is pretty much the top of the shark’s head so we just want to have something which should look a little bit like this so he actually looks a little bit scarier without teeth than with teeth but there you go that’s kind of like how the Shark’s head wants to build up and now let’s talk about the rest of mr shark so what we now want to do ladies and gentlemen is we now want to connect the back of the shock to the top of the shock and to do this we basically just Want to do diagonals so can you see where we have each one of these dark gray wall blocks like right at the back well these essentially want to connect diagonally up to the back of the shock and they should connect perfectly diagonally to the shock i mean they should connect directly they shouldn’t Like come higher they shouldn’t be lower they shouldn’t uh they should just connect to like the empty space at the top of the shock that’s how this has been designed so you just want to connect everything diagonally um the side parts will take a little bit longer Than the middle part because once you get to that middle part because we’ve got a straight line and that’ll be really really easy so we’re just going to do these side parts first of all and then we’re going to do the middle part and we’ll also have to fill the side of The shark’s head in with dark gray wool as well we’re also going to have to fill that in with dark gray wool as well but um this is the hardest part of the shot pretty much done once you’ve made like the jaw and once you have made the Actual head shape everything else does kind of like fall into place everything else is quite simple in comparison to this so um you can rest easy knowing that the hard part is definitely taken care of and uh it’s a little bit easier from now on so we’re just going to Continue building up the back of the head here and that is perfect we’ve got both the sides done and now that once we have done one of these uh one of these diagonal rows right at the back here connecting the back of the head all the way up to the Uh well the very back of the shock all the way up to the back of the head i should say once we’ve done that once um it becomes very very easy because we can now just drag this row across here and you know what i might um for ease of This i might just like do the opposite diagonal line and then i can just like go from left to right and i can connect them together without having to do too much fussing about so there we go and then we can just uh go left to right Kind of like a tap typewriter or something and we can just ping ping imagine the shuffling of papers as we made this ping and we can just connect this up we can just connect all of the back of the shark’s head all the way up together and we just Want to have something which should look a little bit like that and you can see that we have the curved nature of the back of the shark’s head now and it all slopes down and it looks as though the shark is just coming out of the water And what we can do is we can also fill these sides of this in with dark gray wall this will take a second or two because it’s a relatively large space to fill in this will take a second or two but we do have to fill this in with dark Gray plus we also want to fill the opposite side in with dark gray as well once we’ve done this we’re going to do the fin on the top of the shark’s head then we’ll fill in the actual mouth then we’ll talk about the inside and the Outside the shock a little bit and then we’ll be done so that is both sides filled in now let’s talk about the fin at the top of the shot okay so come all the way up to the very top back middle part of the shark’s head there’s a very Obvious middle block which is this one right here running all the way up at the back center of the head and we want to on top of this block we want to place a dark gray wall and in front of it two additional dark grey so we have like a Strip of free dark grey wall coming to the front of the shark’s head what we then want to do is from this first dark grey wall looking at it like this sideways on we want to do two up left we want to do one up left diagonal from This front like we want to do one up left diagonal then we want to go left by one then free up left diagonals that’s one two three we then want to go left by five that’s one two three four five and what we then Want to do is we want to do five at bottom right diagonals we want to do one two three four five we then want to go down by one and then we want to do two bottom left diagonals that’ll be one and two we then just want to fill the center of this Shape that we have just formed in with dark gray wool and this will form the fin of the shock but something that you may notice is with just one strip of dark gray wool it doesn’t really look right i mean it’s definitely there it is the fin of the Shock but it’d look a little bit better if it was bolstered a little bit so what we’re going to do is we’re going to add an additional layer of dark gray wall buff on the left hand side of this and we’re also going to add an additional Layer of dark gray wool on the right hand side of this so on the left and right hand side we just kind of want to beef this up just a little bit we we want to give it a protein shake we want to send it to the gym and we just want To beef up the shark a little bit more so we just want to have something which should look a little bit like that and there you go that’s the fin of the shark and that looks a little bit better and as you look at it from the side there You go it just looks a little bit meaner so once you’ve got that taken care of we can now talk about the shark’s mouth the shark’s mouth’s actually quite easy to do so um come all the way down to the bottom of the mouth first of all and we Just want to you can see here where we have this very first row like right behind this row of outward light gray wool at the bottom just add an additional row of light gray wall here but then what we want to do is we want To fill the very bottom of the mouth in with magenta stained glaze and what we basically want to do is we want to trace along the shape of the mouth so where we have light gray walls all we have to do is really trace along the light gray Walls and we just want to connect the left hand side light gray walls to the right hand side light gray walls so can you see what i’m doing we just want to connect the light gray together and this is going to form the inside of the mouth And something that we’re going to be adding later very very soon is we’re going to be adding uh some shut um some teeth to the shark because obviously shark have teeth that’s one of the scariest things about shark the big giant shark teeth and the fact that they’re they’re a Very very apex like predator in the r sharks and apex predator that means that they have no they have no concerns they’re at the top of their field some might say is there anything that sharks worry about they probably worry about whales they’re probably concerned about those and maybe if enough dolphins banned Together they could probably kill a shark but other than that i don’t think that sharks really have too many concerns or worries um they’re very hakuna matata they they have no worries for the rest of their days if i if i know my shots which i don’t so that is The inside of the shark’s mouth and obviously that’s looking a little bit gummy at the moment this is what it looks like when a shark doesn’t have its dentures in this is what it looks like when the shots got a bit old and it can no longer chew its food so we’re going To give it some block of quartz for teeth um the the teeth are kind of like place like this so can you see where we have this row of uh what is it magenta saying clay start from left hand side we want to place block of quartz miss one Place one this one place one this one place one like that that’s the first row of teeth and um we also want to place a tooth uh where is it we want to place eight of here and here and on the same on the opposite side as well we want to Place one here right at the back and then is it here as well yep and then for the top row of teeth we kind of like want to place them in equivalent ish spacers um i do believe that we want to place like one here in the corner and we Want to place one here in the corner and we want to place one here and we want to place one here and i don’t know if we actually have some at the top as well we probably do should we place one here and one here or does that make it look a Little bit goofy does that make it look as though the shark has kind of like two front teeth i don’t know you can kind of place the teeth as you like them to be perfectly honest i mean those kind of look like fangs really i suppose so you Might not want to place them there or maybe you want to place them just like a little further back like here and here so it looks a little bit less like fangs and that actually looks quite mean so you can give the shark any more or less teeth depending on how ferocious goofy You want it to look but that’s the shock let’s talk about the outside of the shock so that’s the shark’s head that is pretty much where the house is going to be housed inside of this and the entrance to the house is actually going to be like right right bank center like In the mouth and it’s just going to be two open spaces but let’s say that your shark is submerged in water how do we actually get to the shock well we’re going to have to build a little bit of a platform and to do this we’re going to use some other Planks we’re going to use some spruce wood fence we’re going to use some like oakwood slabs and some oakwood stairs and some spruce wood stairs and stuff like that and we’re just going to build like a little bit of a pier a little bit of a dock which takes you From the dry land to the shark’s mouth and it’s just going to look a little something like this now it doesn’t have to be fancy nobody said that it has to be fancy and we might just want to there we go nobody said that it has to be fancy but um It could it could definitely look kind of nice here and it could just be like a row of three oak wood planks like coming up the middle here and we can just have like a little bit of a pier heading into the shark’s mouth that’s how you’d probably get in there and if You wanted to i mean you could make the peel look a little bit nicer um whether this would look a bit more like a tongue or not i actually don’t know whether adding like a strip of spruce wood actually makes it look better i actually Quite like that uh quite like that a bit but there you go and if you wanted to if you wanted to make it like a little bit more interesting still you could even make it look a little bit more dock-like if you wanted to nobody’s telling you to You you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to but maybe maybe this maybe this improves a little bit maybe if maybe if you want to make pretend that this is kind of like a a fishing pier we don’t know it’s just one block isn’t it Maybe if you want to make make pretend that this is a fishing pier and like you can fish off of this and you can have like a little bow hanging off of the hang off of this if you wanted to maybe maybe that’s something that you’d be Interested in i don’t know but that looks pretty cool doesn’t it i mean then we have a pier to go into the shark’s head and then obviously um the inside the shark’s head we have to we have to have enough space to actually crack into this boom um the inside the shark said Uh we’re going to fill the bottom of this in so we can actually walk around in this thing we’re going to fill the bottom of this in with a magenta stained clay just to maintain that this is kind of like the mouth of the shark just to Maintain that this is a mouth for the shock we’re filling this in with magenta stained clay so this will actually take a second or two and i’m not going to do it in recording so you fill the bottom of that in with magenta stained clay i would close up This front bit of the shark’s head which you could actually gain access to if you wanted to and then you’d actually have your shark head house and you can build inside of the that shark head you can make it look nice you can make it look Really cool and let me just show you what you can actually make it look like if you want to why don’t i show you the original version of the shortcut because this tutorial is done from this point onwards so this is the original version Of the shark head house as you can see i kind of like simulated sand and i simulated water around the house and of course we still had the very same pier um i just ignore that row of white on the left hand side that’s kind of i i Had to count out how long that row is kind of just ignore that but that’s the shark head house so you can build it on land if you want to there’s nothing to stop you building on land it looks great out here but if you want to build it Like next to the ocean and people kind of just find it at random then i don’t know it kind of adds to it kind of makes it look a little bit cooler so um walking into the shark head house i didn’t have too many ideas for the Inside of this so this is just a very very loose theme that i came up with so we have some water here inside just on the left and right of us and we have like sea lanterns and hanging sea lanterns i think that that’s a very cool Concept and we have kind of like a bed in the center surrounded by like um by beacons which i think is also quite cool what you put on the left and right of this is kind of like up to you or whether you keep it like this or whether You lay down carpet or whatever you want to do but i do think that it’s kind of a cool idea these sea lanterns are kind of cool as lighting and i do think that a water feature or two actually does make it look very very cool and even if it is Just a bed i didn’t really want to clutter the inside this house too much because i think this more looks like a shark temple than anything else and i quite like it it there’s definitely enough room and if you wanted to you could definitely crack in To the top part of the shark head like the top front part like where the noses and everything if you wanted to absolutely could have and i suppose that that’s it guys if you did enjoy this house if you did enjoy the tutorial please give this video a like give it a Favorite give it a share anything you’d feel like doing tell me out i’d always really really really appreciate it i honestly would i made this because one of you guys
