Twiistz – REALISTIC MULTIFLOOR REDSTONE ELEVATOR – Minecraft Redstone Tutorial

Guys I am back doing another redstone tutorial and it’s all because of this amazing elevator Oh how’s it going guys and welcome back to my Minecraft world today I’ll be showing you how to create an awesome red stewed a multi floor elevator check that out that is so cool

And yes we’re back doing redstone tutorials if you guys want to see more be sure to take one seconds and to crush that like button I’ll do another one really soon if we hit 1500 likes on this video but either way let’s go ahead and take a look at this awesome elevator

Okay so basically how this works is that we flick that lever and it starts up a whole mechanism and basically has a continuous elevator that allows you to go to multiple floors the only downside to this is that it has a height limit since Pistons can only push a certain

Amount of blocks but what you can do is like hop into it and then go up to other floors and just hop down wherever you like it’s like really cool and versatile as well as you could go up and down using the same you know elevator you

Don’t really need a second one to do that and you can also keep it on forever if you want to just have this at your convenience or you could go ahead and turn it off by a flick of lever and it just stops wherever it is and it starts

Back wherever you started from so it’s really cool and also very easy to build so let’s go ahead and do that so to build this elevator you’re going to need a 5 by 6 area it’s 5 this way then 6 that way as well as you need to dig down

2 layers but either way once you have that you want to go ahead and come to the left count over 1 2 3 4 place down a piston facing up a regular piston then place down 12 blocks on top of that so 1

2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and 12 and this is the maximum amount of blocks that a piston can push so yeah this is pretty much the highest you can make it you can make it shorter if you want but I’m not

Really sure why you’d want to do that but once you have that you want to go ahead and placed on another block over here then place the sticky piston facing towards this direction then destroy that block grab another block of your choice build out one to destroy that block over there

Then you want to build out two blocks like this or actually one block up like that and then grab yourselves another piston and place it facing down at the side of this block and then you want to destroy that block and then you want to grab yourselves another block of your

Choice place two of them right in front of that regular piston destroy this block over here and this is basically is going to wrap around and then we create a line of blocks going back towards the ground okay so once you reach sound all

The way to here what we want to do is place down a piston on this block facing towards that direction with no block in front of our piston and in place down another block right over here now if you guys do know this this is the only

Piston with a block in front of it so make sure that is the case for every single one of these pistons there’s no blocks in front of any of them except the one at the bottom over here otherwise it’s not going to work all right so once you have that you want to

Go ahead and grab another block of your choice place it down over here then place down a redstone repeater going into that block and then place on a bit of redstone dust there with a regular piston facing up right over here it looks just like that now do you want to

Place down and block of your choice on top of that regular piston place down a block of redstone there and then you want to build up till we get to this level I’ll show you guys in a second you want to build up till we get to right

Below that’s on piston destroy these two blocks really don’t need that then destroy this top block and replace that with a block of redstone then you want to grab yourselves another block of your choice place on a block over here a block over there a redstone repeaters

Here a redstone repeater there set this to two ticks by right-click on it right clicking on it once and then set this to four ticks by right-clicking it on three times and then you want to play sound two blocks over here place a block up

Over here and then a block right on top of this redstone repeater by shift and right clicking and any one to place down two bits of redstone dust there a bit of redstone dust there and then another piston facing down at the corner of this

Block now once you have that you want to come down over here place two blocks on the face of that redstone block place a repeater coming out of that set that to four ticks then place down two blocks over here from that regular piston then place a

Block down like that over there so it’s like three blocks then placed on three bits of redstone dust and one more over there then you place down a block right over here right over there and then a redstone repeater coming from this block going into that block and you want to

Set this to a two tick delay or I believe this is four or notice that this is a tube okay so yeah that’s basically what you want to do now you need to come over to this side destroy the block in the ground place our regular piston

Facing up to create a monostable circuit place a bit of sand right on top of that regular piston and you want to place out a redstone repeater going into that sad destroy a block over here place a bit of redstone dust there and once you have

That you want to place down a block of your choice in this location I’m just going to grab myself an iron block and place your lever on top of that iron block grab yourselves another block of your choice and place it right at the side of this bit of redstone dust like

That they want to build up one like this and make sure you leave room for that some sand to move up and you place one down over here one up over here and then two down over here with a sticky piston facing towards that direction on the side of that block

Placed on two bits of redstone dust there place down a redstone repeater going into that block coming from this and a redstone repeater coming from this block going into that one okay so now when we go ahead and flick this it should create a system where it pushes

The blocks around and that is the template for creating our elevator now you can simply flick the lever and it stops at any moment and this is the top section is basically to stop sequence and what happens is it pulls out this block which stops the entire thing from

Running but either way we could go ahead and start to building up our system now the only thing we need is some blocks of our choice as well as some fence gates and some slabs so I’m going to use my birch fence gates as well as my stone

Slabs and come down over here to this piston and you want to start off here and place down a stone slab at the bottom a regular slab not an upside down slab and you want to place down a fence gate right on top of that then another

Fence gate on top of that and you want to basically repeat this process until you get all the way to the top so let’s just go ahead and do that place the slab there and then you place on two fence gates right over they’re yet again by a shift and

Right-clicking if you’re flying press shift and space at the same time like I’m doing and then place another one there another one here place down another slab by shift and flying and then place down two more here and once you get to the top you want to

Make sure that you place a slab right in this location so what you have to do is is build over to and then destroy that one and this is going to be the proper slab you need to place down destroy these two blocks place down two more of

Our fence gates destroy your block at the bottom place down our slab and repeat the process so two more fence gates place on a slab two more fence gates at the bottom here place on another slab and then two more fence gates once again and you want to make

Sure you place a block over here just as a temporary block because that’s the only way you can place down your fence gates and place one down um right over here and then right over there and then you want to make sure you remove this block otherwise nothing is going to work

Grab yourselves your block of iron and place a line of blocks over here any blocks of your choice it doesn’t need to be iron grab a lever place a lever here and basically turn that on and that’s going to keep the gates open for you and

Do do it at the bottom as well and then grab yourselves some more blocks of your choice and build out the left side just like this and build out the right side by coming down here and placing a block right next to that slab and then

Building all the way up there you go and what you can also do is build up to this piston and then place two blocks over here and then sort of like hide this area with a roll blocks like I did on my creation or the first creation that I

Made okay so now what you can do is also come on the inside and build up a line of blocks like this to make sure you don’t fall off of the back of the elevator and it can do the same thing here as well since there’s no redstone

In these areas and that should be now our entire system completed we come back around to front flick this lever and then we just walk into it whenever we want to you know get the next level I think I forgot to remove a block so make

Sure you don’t forget to do it otherwise it’s going to mess up the entire system but you guys get the idea you place down a slab and two fence gates and then a slab and then we walk over here and base use the elevator as normal anyways guys
