Twiistz – Top 10 Redstone Defenses In Minecraft!

Today we’re taking a look at some awesome security systems they might kill you they might confuse you and they might trap you what we’ll have to see which one is the best hey what’s up my fellow twisters welcome back to another redstone map showcase today we are

Taking a look at the top 10 redstone security systems in Minecraft now all of these security systems are really cool and they’re created by you seal is a huge shout-out to him his information will be down below in the description I highly recommend you go check him out

But like I was saying all of these creations are very cool and they’re in no particular order so number one could be just as awesome as number 10 all right so let’s go ahead and just get straight into this guys number one is going to be our hidden CNC cannon we

Simply hit this button right over here at the ground pops down and shoots out a TNT and it explodes and there we go that is basically a hidden TNT it’s very great for of course defending your home and also surprising your enemies all right let’s move on to the second

Security system this one is going to be a laser security system that basically detects players when they past a certain position now listen what is I connected to anything basically when you step over this area it will basically detect that you’ve walked over and you could then

Use this to apply signal say to a a TNT cannon so like I mentioned it’s not connected to any particular system but on its own it’s really cool because it basically adds in a James Bond type effect into the map using lasers all right so the next secure system is going

To be our hidden arrow trap and you can hide this behind a wall – you give your enemies a very deadly surprise so basically hit this button right over here some arrows pop out from the wall and start shooting anyone in its way as you can see our dummy over here is

Getting absolutely drenched in arrows and he will obviously die so as basically our hidden arrow trap you can hit the button again to as a system and it’s like nothing ever happened in a blink of an eye that could open and close and basically kill your

Enemy alright so number four is going to be our item frame combination lock I recently did a video on this it’s a really cool lock that basically activates when you point all of the item frames towards the center block as you can see all of our redstone torches

Pointed towards the middle redstone lamp turns the redstone lamp on as well as you could take an input or an output signal from that and connect it up to a volt door or just a regular iron door to create a lovely hidden switch now of course you can set the positions to our

Item frames in any direction that you want so if you want to make it less obvious you can have like up to I believe forty five hundred different combinations guys that’s four thousand five hundred different combinations in this one item frame combination lock so yeah it’s very cool and pretty simple

But complex at the same time all right number five we have the hidden lava pits this one’s pretty cool we basically hit this button right over here you can connect it up to our laser detection system but basically it just has a pop-out lava trap and anyone that kind

Of walks into this walks it to the area it opens up pretty quickly and they’ll just fall in and possibly die so that’s a pretty good addition to the map and creates for a nice bit of security yet again that works very well with our laser detection system alright so the

Next thing we have over here is going to be your beaker color combination lock this is number six and it’s actually one of the best creations on this map itself and this is really cool because you could set a particular color to have a combination for a door or something so

Basically our combinations going to light up this redstone lamp over here and the combination is going to be green yellow red and blue as you can see that is the correct combination if I go ahead and just mess around with these buttons and I change their color as you can see

The lab now turns off so sigh Sion I believe is going to mess up the entire system we have to cycle through all the blocks to get back to or blue and then our lamp will turn back on if you guys noticed there is a lot of blocks implemented into the system I

Believe up to ten and that’s absolutely insane so you could do 10 times 10 times 10 I believe that is around 100 different a hundred thousand different combinations if my math is correct I don’t know someone should definitely comment down below and tell me if I’m

Right or wrong because I might just be making stuff up all right so let’s keep going here until we get back to the dark blue there is black there is red green and almost there we’re at purple and blue all right check that out the light

Is now back on and the combination is correct and this basically it again works with all of the other color combination switches as well so yeah that is definitely pretty cool you can definitely set that up to make a very neat fancy and complex doorway system or

Trap system whatever you want guys all right so number seven we’re going to have our security bars this is by far one of the simplest well not one of the simplest creations as you can see there’s a lot of redstone being implemented here but this is one of the

Visually most simple designs that I’ve seen but it works very well and basically what happens is when we hit this button right over here we have our iron bars being pulled out from the front of our door and then the floor is replaced back again so as you can see

Very seamless over here and you could never tell that’s we had iron bars in this area before so that’s stuffing pretty cool we could go ahead and hit that button again and the iron bars go back up very quickly and yeah it’s just an extra layer of protection of course

This is going to protect better against mobs than players so I mean of course players could just sprint break the Redstone but of course the security system involves a bit of role-playing all right so the next one we have is the defense wall at number eight this is

Pretty simple you set the thought this button right over there and the wall just goes up and yeah that is basically that yet again a bit of role-playing is needed to make the a quote-unquote security system because of course anyone can just break the sand but zombies and whatnot will be easily

Blocked by this to block high wall and if you want to go ahead and put it back down into the ground we simply set that button again and it goes away that quickly now you can connect this system up to our arrow dispenser the one that

Comes out of the wall and you can put this on either ends of the hallway and basically like when you walk into the hallway the walls will come up trapping you inside and then like the arrow dispenser could go off if you guys understand so you could connect all of

These things up together to create like an old fro like super cool security system but these are just like little and you know a little creations and inventions that you guys get implemented to your map but anyways number nine we have the key card reader lock and this

Is actually really cool we could set any particular item to be a key card for a redstone outputs and in this particular design we have another star that’s going to be inside our dropper we basically hit this button right over here it dispenses that and then gives a redstone

Signal which will activate our redstone lamp now yet again we could connect this up to anything that you want it can be a door or a trap it really doesn’t matter just use your imagination and yet again combine the rats and security systems to make something really epic now the final

Creation on this map is going to be our security chests with an item frame combination lock so this uses the combination lock from the earlier creation down there except it splits it in half and also this combines a security chest with it so basically in the security chest we have on some armor

Over here as you can see full diamond armor with a diamond sword and when both of the redstone torches are pointed towards the chest as you can see these lights will light up in the back but if I go ahead and change the position of that redstone torch the lights will turn

Off and then boom there we go no more items in our chests that is really awesome as you guys can see with the redstone below it basically just you know takes the items using a hopper system out of the chests and when it’s pointed back towards the chest it

Is Reda Spence into it so yeah that is basically how that works and that’s actually a really good system if you hide it a bit better with people who are not familiar with redstone creations so you can put like a potato over here and no one’s going to know that position

Number three and position number six I believe or five is going to give us a full set of diamond armor so let’s go ahead and just demonstrate this really quick destroy those items right over there we could go ahead and grab ourselves say potato where’s that potato there we go

Place a potato there a potato there and then we could go ahead and just look at this rotate it and then once it’s in a proper position it will dispense our diamond armor so yeah we could go ahead and change that back and it turns off
