TWILIGHT FOREST MOD – TROLL CAVES – MINECRAFT 1.16.5 (MOD SHOWCASE)

Hey guys austin welcome back to another minecraft twilight forest video here on the channel today we are going to be discussing the troll caves located in the highlands of twilight forest if it has been a while since i’ve continued on with the series but if you guys don’t

Know how this works essentially i talk about his very specific location or boss in fort or fortnite in minecraft today being the troll caves so if you guys have been joining the fortnite if i say fortnite one more time you can dislike the video all you want if you guys have

Been enjoying the minecraft content on the channel be sure to smash like miniature support consider subscribing if you’re new and let’s get right into so delving deep beneath the twilight highlands the troll caves are a natural cave system with a few distinct features setting it apart from the uh caves in the overworld

Et cetera um these underground layers are home to the aggressive troll species so if you’re wondering how to find one of these essentially on your mini-map right here or on your map i should say uh you want to look for these sort of spiky like

Uh i don’t know what the exact term is but it looks like the um cave spikes pointing downward and i’m over top of one right now and there’s four surrounding the the final like uh castle area and that’s what you’re going to want to look for and once you’re

There you’re going to want to dig down or in my case go into spectator mode fly down and you will locate one of the troll caves that being this right here so we have entered and as you can see there’s actually a cave troll right here they have about 30 health they’re pretty

They look kind of cute but they’re also pretty terrifying so the troll cave enhances entrances can be found uh fairly easily uh with openings and steep sides of the mountain highlands i was unable to actually find one of the openings so that’s why i had to enter it this way um

Uh there’s a ton of treasures that could be found here monsters like i said the trolls can be here you can also find skeletons creepers witches etc uh progression in order to reach the highlands as we know you have to kill the ergast hydra and snow queen in order

To get to this point um from there we already know about entering the caves why not but i’m essentially just gonna fly around and show you guys what you can find here you can find uh this block which is the huge uh hush gloom is that what it’s called

Or mush gloom sorry uh you got some obsidian towers you also have a giant obsidian uh wall here i don’t know if there’s any loot inside this there is loot inside this okay so yeah so if you want to bust through there as you can see there

Is a bunch of loot you can find in here as well as things like magic beans and even the lamp of cinders which is pretty cool um charleston as well you can find here uh it doesn’t really have any uses but it does exist throughout this area

As you can see it’s pretty much like a giant hollow cave except you know it’s got a lot more fortification um does this one also have any loot oh it does so as you can see all the loot inside this place is blocked off by giant obsidian

Like cubes they got a breakthrough which kind of sucks but at the same time it can be worth it depending on the loot you’re gutting for when you’re into this place also you want to come here with a lot of torches because literally the place is going to be filled to the brim

With mobs troll caves being the least your worries you could argue um like every mob poses its own sort of difficulty but when they’re also stacked on top of each other it can always get a bit dicey i do like how you can sort of like traverse it by jumping on top of

The mushrooms as well um but there’s not really too much else to mention about this place besides the fact that it’s for the troll caves uh if you guys are wondering what the troll caves drop i will kill one really quickly to show you i should also mention i’m currently in version 1.16.5

And oh we lit up some of the uh can i just right click that to light it up or do i have to like actually kill something is that how that works i guess interesting can i kill creeper light up no it has to be the troll the troll caves interesting um

But yeah the reason i’m in 1.16 right now is because i tried doing 1.17 but i could not get a uh of my i couldn’t get my minecraft below 1.17 it was causing issues for some reason but yeah as you can see every time you kill um the troll cave it

Lights up the area a little bit more so either brick torches or if you want to do it this way you can just kill all the troll caves in the area will slowly light up over time which i think is actually a very cool feature that they have in this um

Also a good way to indicate if they’re still troll caves or not so then that means there’s specific amount of troll caves i’m assuming if if all the uh berries have to light up then there’s only a specific amount of trolls per cave i would imagine then

Uh so yeah but that is pretty much it for this video there’s not too much else to talk about besides this place uh if you’re wondering what you’re supposed to do after this you are supposed to uh go to and acquire the giant items from the big giants in the sky that is

Probably we’re gonna be covering a next video topic involving twilight force uh like i said i there’s no consistency when i post these videos it’s just whenever i in a way feel like doing it or whenever i have whenever i feel like doing this for a minecraft video for you know
