In this video, Fuxau showcases the best possible automatic furnace in Minecraft Bedrock. This furnace works on all platforms of the Bedrock edition, including Java. Fuxau built this furnace in Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 and will guide you through the process of creating it.
To start, you’ll need a double chest. Place two glass blocks on top of the chest, and on those glass blocks, place a redstone lamp, a block, and a lever to turn the lamp on and off. Next, place five blocks next to the chest in a row. Behind the glass blocks, place two blocks. This will be the foundation for the hoppers.
Now, you’ll need to place three hoppers in a row after the chest. Then, place sixteen hoppers in a line next to the previous hoppers. Repeat this on the other side as well. This setup will allow the hoppers to transport items directly into the chest.
Next, place a furnace on top of each hopper. This will be where the items are smelted. Repeat this on the other side as well. Now, you’ll need to place hoppers on top of each furnace to input fuel and items to be smelted. This includes coal, water buckets, ores, and food. Make sure to place hoppers on both sides.
To create a pattern for the minecart rails, place two blocks and surround them with more blocks to form a square shape. Repeat this on the other side as well. Then, place powered rails that connect to each other every seven normal rails. Repeat this pattern until the end. This will create a track for the minecart.
However, Fuxau made a mistake in the video, so you’ll need to make a slight adjustment. Instead of placing the last two powered rails, leave them empty. This will ensure that the rails connect properly. Remove the rail and place a block in its place. Then, place the powered rail on top of the block. Repeat this on the other side as well.
Once you’ve completed this step, you can remove the two blocks you placed earlier. This will create a gap where you can place the minecart. However, be careful not to let the rails connect. To prevent this, place and remove rails in a specific pattern. This will ensure that the rails don’t connect and the minecart can move freely.
Finally, you can place blocks and stairs to create a structure around the furnace. This will give it a more finished look. And there you have it, the best automatic furnace in Minecraft Bedrock 1.20!
