Camels were added to Minecraft as part of the 1.20 update just like horses pigs and Striders camels can be fitted with a saddle and ridden around but what makes them different to any of the other ridable mobs is that two players can ride a camel at once so first let’s Cover how and where to find them in a Minecraft World with naturally generating structures turned on a single camel will always spawn in the center of a desert village this mob is exclusive to the desert village only so if you find a desert village expect to find a Camel sitting in the center but generally by The Village well I’m afraid if you didn’t turn naturally generating structures on when you created your world you won’t be able to find a camel once you’ve got your hands on one you can jump onto him and ride him the same Way as a horse unlike with a horse you won’t have to tame the camel to ride it he’s already used to being around the villagers so all you need to do is Hop on and fit the saddle now as for riding the camel he’s unfortunately not very Fast and despite being quite a large animal he cannot carry a chest unlike a donkey I think this is a bit ridiculous considering the real life size of a camel but maybe Mojang thought it would have been overpowered the camel has two speeds there’s his walking speed which Is pitifully slow and his running speed which is ever so slightly faster than the player’s normal running speed then the camel has this weird charging ability every couple of seconds you can use a boost to Sprint a lot faster but then he starts walking slowly while he catches his breath the animation also Looks a little bit off in my opinion I mean it’s almost frightening this mob does have a party piece though because it’s so tall Hostile Mobs two blocks in height such as zombies are unable to attack you while you’re riding it obviously skeletons can still shoot you And creepers will still blow up but for a lot of mobs it can serve as a form of protection although don’t try it with the weather attempting to defeat the weather with a camel is unlikely to bring prosperity to the table another thing quickly is that camels will spend Most of their time sitting down if you try and move off with the saddle there’s this short standing up animation before you can actually move off you can also just take him away with the lead if you’re unable to find the saddle to breed two camels you’ll have to find two Different desert villages and bring two camels together feed them a cactus block each and give them a couple of seconds that’s all it takes really and boom you have a baby camel and that’s pretty much all there is to it not the most useful feature in the game but certainly a nice Addition anyways if you like my short guides feel free to drop a like And subscribe to the channel let me know as well if you have any video requests I’ll see you all next time Video Information
