Ultimate Castle Build Ideas for Survival Minecraft!

So you found a nice Spot somewhere in your survival world and you want to build the classic Minecraft castle only there’s one problem you don’t know where to start well you’ve come to the right place because in this video I’ll be showing you over 20 ideas in seven different Castles guaranteed to impress

Your friends and scare away the pillagers I’ll be showing you some small outposts some Mega builds and some weirder ones hidden away in my world so without further Ado let’s jump right into it let’s get started here by looking at a build which is on my multiplayer server which you can join

Anytime you want the IP is in the description and if you can find this castle and tell me about it on our Discord I will give you some special surprises on the server but anyways let’s take a look at the first castle idea on the list this is an underground

Castle so we’re going to take a nice long look at this one and we’re going to start off by looking at this bridge design I mixed some Oak and some jungle wood just over this little Lake here which I actually created myself and we get to the gate which is a big door

Which I left a jar so that we have a way in but if you turn left you can see there is a little parkour to a nether portal which is pretty cool pretty useful everybody needs a nether portal and I thought this was like a fun way to

Uh include it into the castle idea anyways if we come inside here we can see a lot more ideas obviously the classic table which is in all of my builds I feel like uh but I really like it with the very tall high chair with the comfy backing looks really good when

You want to record cuz it looks really proper and of course if we start on the right here we have some big barrels uh these have lava juice and water juice I guess or really you could put anything you want with your imagination I think in Bedrock you can even like dyee the

Water I don’t know if that’s true and up here we have some armor stands graciously donated to us by one of our players Yubel these look really good I really like this black one I think it kind of looks like a Jedi suit I really like it really cool what they’ve added

With the armor Trims on the left here we have our most valuable paintings surrounded by books and leaves and all of that stuff and if we keep going here a pickaxe this is like a Whimsical way I guess of decorating a really big wall that you have nothing to do with and

Also what I think is cool about it is it’s kind of like opulence you know it’s with diamond blocks and everything it’s very opulent and fancy and kind of a flex if you want to fill your castle and make it look like the people who live

There are rich and back here a classic fireplace with a very comfy chair that you can sit in and enjoy the fire and I’ve used load Stones everywhere you don’t have to use these I just think they look really cool and since I’m I’m playing in Creative now I can treat

Myself to all the blocks and over here another wall of barrels and bookshelves and paintings and goodies with some little plant standy upy things these are really cool this is actually just a dead bush in a pot with a leaf on top and that is pretty much it other than this

Chandelier which we can look at here I’ll give you guys a good look at that so you can learn how to build it yourselves I think it looks really really really cool I love it and it’s probably one of my favorite things my only pet peeve my biggest pet peeve with

Minecraft right now is that there’s no wall for the dark prismarine this is actually a deep slate wall which I think is an oversite by Minecraft so they should definitely add that in the next update and I would be very happy and then this build would be complete

Anyways let’s move on to the next one here on our list full of some more Castle ideas and and we are back in the survival world here cuz most of them are actually in this world not the server but if you’ve been watching the let’s

Play first of all I love you second of all you probably remember seeing this Castle as one of the episodes it was actually the last episode I recorded before the new year and it has changed a lot since that video and also um just for the newly initiated people to this

Build it’s actually a creeper Farm it’s not a castle well I guess it’s both but it was built to be a creeper Farm but it is full of really cool castle inspiration the first one is obviously these trees I suck at making custom trees this was my first try uh at one of

These I think it turned out okay but coming back I might do some better ones one day and the second idea that I think everybody should take from this and Implement in their own world is the aqueduct super slepton makes your base look so cool I love them I think they’re

Awesome and also this pallet um I see a lot of people building stuff with like this pallet but castles just look so cool with the red and the purple rofes and the jungle um side block I think it’s a really cool mix and I really wish

People did it more cuz it looks really clean even without the shaders uh it looks really good but let’s turn shaders back on I love shaders and I can’t play without them when you come into the castle here there’s no real official entrance but I guess this would be it

You come in and there’s a little Lobby foyer area with some barrels and some just general decoration I wanted this place to kind of look old and overgrown so I’ve added a lot of plants and if we come to the right here this is the Mega

Room that’s not so Mega uh this is just where the creeper drops come in and I can pick them up and of course sugarcane farm over here um definitely more efficient designs than this one but I just thought it looked cool I thought it was a neat idea to kind of make an

Aesthetic looking uh sugar can farm and of course a wall of decoration once again I love these and I can’t live without them in my builds and if we come to the left here this I guess would actually be the official entrance this

Is where I fly in from a lot of the time you can just kind of come in I like making my builds elytra accessible so you can just fly in pet the dog Mark Anthony and just go about your business go to the left I mean that’s the right

Go to the right or go to the left to this portal over here and in here a little storage closet that we don’t talk about like most people’s closets if we go upstairs over here we can see the next area which is the storage area um I

Did tell myself stop leaving good stuff here cuz I did build a mega storage area but uh I really like this room and there’s a little map room here we can see the world a little bit uh though it has updated a little bit since this and

It’s definitely not as big as the other one and of course the table though a little bit different cuz it’s smaller I use trap doors here I think the trap doors look pretty good and if we go to the right here a little bedroom where I

Can sleep away the night and AFK for the creepers and on the left here we have a chicken farm in this cool little room that I made um this is because I figured I don’t really like afking first of all in survival I don’t think it’s that fun

And I think it kind of breaks the game a little bit but when I have to at least I’ll be getting a little bit of food and this area will be a little bit more useful than just creepers and stuff but as you can see not much goes in here I

Wish I could get more cooked chicken anyway if we keep going I have a lot of decorations here uh this is like a new version of the potted plant that I showed in the last build idea and of course some shelves and some paintings and stuff and it’s pretty basic uh I

Just like it I love these little recessed areas here with the lantern turn and the newer uh torch flower which I think looks really good and I know what you guys are thinking you want to see the creeper farm and I will show it to you it is actually underneath the

Castle uh down here in this unfinished area which we don’t talk about here’s another uh farm that I made but I don’t think it’s even produced anything I just built it I’m still working on this area if I free cam here we can go underneath and look at the creeper farm and I

Really do urge you like there are are so many better designs in this one you can go look at a Waddles or a shulker craft or whatever and all those people have way better designs I made this one myself and I regret it immensely uh basically the creepers just walk off and

Eventually fall down here and die and then their drops get shot up into the storage system it’s not ideal but it works and I think it’s a cool idea to kind of camouflage a creeper farm so that is the castle I hope you guys liked

Lot smaller but has a bunch of ideas to give I swear and it’s probably the best suited if you’re just starting out in a new world and you wanted to build something small and cute and impress your friends and scare away the big bad

M at night let’s check it out so if I click all the buttons here really quick and I get back into my average view we’re going to start from the down here part I guess the bottom of the hill where you can walk up this grally path into a mine entrance which actually

Brings you into the castle um the idea was to make like a crypt down here I don’t think it really worked out but I think it is pretty cool as like a nature area is there anything in here ooh three rails and this this is actually the

Castle uh this is like the dungeon you know with the pillars with candles on them which I think is really cool and um some other dangly plants for some reason and over here a room which is actually a big portal um I think I went over this

In my world tour but basically I wanted to make like a mirror and have like an armor stand with a guy but it didn’t work out anyway looks pretty cool uh really hyperd detailed kind of looks like it was built in the Lush biome but now if we go upstairs we can actually

See the real castle and we can close off this basement with this furnace which is pretty cool right now it’s a crafting table so this is the entrance it’s the most important part of the castle when you walk in you got your coat rack you got your paintings and all this other

Beautiful stuff uh just to make it nice warm and cozy I made some fake walls here just to kind of uh section off parts of this castle and on the right here we have the forge with this weird coil up here but we have furnaces o that’s really good stuff actually I’m

Going to take that with me oh more good stuff cool okay I’m going to take all this with me but anyways uh you know a little Smithy uh some some anvils and a bunch of other little details uh just to kind of make it look like it’s being

Used and I even put some campfires underneath so there’s some smoke coming from the furnace at all times and it’s a really cool little room of course you can come up here and when you come up here you can man the cannon which oversees my other build uh probably

Don’t want to shoot this cannon because I will be griefing myself but it’s pretty cool I even put a little uh lighting stick like you know on in cannons they had like that big stick with the wick on it uh that that was the idea I think I was watching Master and

Commander when I made this anyway uh pretty cool little Cannon but uh let’s keep going here we go back down and we can jump oh nope we can’t jump okay we go up these stairs this is like a little storage area we go up these stairs this

Is the second story this is the library uh so you can see you can walk in here and you can read your book uh this is cool I don’t know what this is supposed to represent but it’s cool and a enchanting table of course max level enchants come from here obviously and if

We come outside there’s another little candle wick and a beehive cuz every Castle needs a beehive and a water collecting pot and if we come out here up to the top is the bedroom with a bed and some more garbage oh a lot of garbage actually I’ll take these though

These are good and of course some more decoration uh some flowers and everything and here there’s a black uh there’s a black candle I like the black candles better I’m just too poor and up here a little campfire a little place for someone to shoot arrows down I think

It’s pretty cool but if we come back down to the start I’ll give another little view um there’s a lot of great little ideas though I do think that the base designed for this Castle is from redddit I’m really not sure anymore um the world is so old and I built this

Before YouTube so it definitely could be inspired um if it’s yours let me know I I’ll give you credit for sure and of course some little window designs on the side here and we don’t talk about the back we never do the backs but uh it’s a

Pretty cool little design and now as the night sets let’s move on to the next build on the list which has a very very very close place in my heart and I’m really excited to show it to you guys let’s jump right into it so why is this

Next one so special and full of ideas that I wanted to share well there’s a few reasons for one uh I made this really early on in my YouTube video making uh career it’s not really a career hobby I guess and uh it was really inspired by B 100 somebody that

I’ve been watching for over 10 years at this point even more than that probably but uh I really wanted to make something like he was making with the shading and the detail and everything and it’s kind of like an homage in my world to him uh

I really like it because I think it kind of shows how far I’ve come to as a builder and it’s always cool to revisit old stuff like look at these custom trees they’re so bad but anyways let’s take a look at the castle here’s another

Canon design for all of you and this one actually has a candle on top which I think is a lot cooler and a lot more realistic because with a flint and steel you could actually light it and uh maybe if you were a data pack magician or a

Modding magician you could make this cannon work anyways let’s look at the castle itself which is full of details um these hanging things hanging beehive I think that’s really cool a lot of little overhung roofs and things to look at and it’s really really detailed maybe

Even a little bit too much and over here we have a little cart idea where you can sit in it and put your junk in the back junk in the trunk and roll it around maybe with a horse or something if you were so inclined with of course some

Weed Fields just decorating the floor around it and over here a shrine of some sort that’s really funny I don’t know what I was thinking when I made that anyways I love these doors um I like doing these big Spruce doors with the actual door in the center and once again

This Castle is really detailed and probably my best interior ever if I had to wager a guess um when we start here we can go to the right to the bathroom uh the toilet I had to label it just so we’d know and you can sit on the toilet

Go to the bathroom and of course up here there’s an anvil uh if you wanted to name your uh what comes out I don’t want to say it and get demonetized and on the right here we have a little mini library or Apothecary or like Brewing place I

Guess it was supposed to be like some mystical thing but you know it’s got all the amenities that you need and you can come upstairs and of course get a nice view of the lake from up here which is awesome anyway if we come back down we

Can head over to the next area which is the kitchen area with the alternating signs and of course I love using LEC turns as pillars I think they look really cool and uh a little I guess this would be like a a in French I don’t know

What that is in English um like a little water jug thing water holder I’ve seen people also make them with the barrels which is really nice and of course our storage area that is probably empty at this point I’ve been through here and raided it uh quite a few times and a

Little chandelier but we’ll go look at all that up there afterwards and if you come outside here a little side exit this is like the servant entrance I guess with a little coat rack and a furnace and an anvil Etc anyways let’s head on up to the half story so I think

It’s really cool uh when you’re building a interior like this and it’s really tall is to kind of separate it by floor obviously but not complete floors just like pieces of floor I think give it a lot more uh storytelling ability so up here we have a little half step of

Course and it’s really detailed with all this cool stuff this is like a hoarders castle by the way a lot of these decorations are just like decorations to be decorations which I think is really cool I love doing that uh there used to be a bed here I think I took it away

Anyways this was the bedroom area with a nice view of course and some more candles and everything and yes this whole place is spawn proof If we head on up again we have another story here full of decoration and storytelling which I really like and of course if you have

Any ideas uh feel free to let me know and I’ll add a sign with your idea and I will definitely come at it later and this middle part here is supposed to be like a shaft of nature so it was like just a bunch of leaves and stuff and

This is the common area going through all the floors you can see all the way down from here and I really like that and if we come on upstairs I labeled it so we know where we’re going we have our beehive the castle beehive every Castle needs a beehive and of course another

Great view of the uh water and surrounding area but of course there is the town actually back here which is from another video um I don’t think we’re going to look at it really close here but we have the gate house and the church and the fortifications all over

The place this place is really cool but not really uh for a castle ideas video if you guys want to see more of this town there is a let’s play on my channel where I built it but it’s really old and probably not very good so let me know if

You want me to make a video about this and maybe give some ideas and maybe we could do a live stream here or something I don’t know let me know but anyways that is the CLE Outpost here labeled as such for B 100 uh I really like this

Build I hope you do too let’s move on to something that’s probably about five times bigger and uh more daunting than any other Castle in my world anyways let’s jump right into it so just flying by we can already tell it is quite a lot bigger than any other Castle on the

World here and probably one of the bigger ones I’ve ever built though that will probably change but this is actually the first time I think I’m going to be showing it all off off in one single clip which uh it has been cut apart into a few episodes of the let’s

Play and a few other videos if you want to check those out more specifically so since I’ve shown this Castle off before I think it would do it justice to just go through it once really quick and highlight some of my favorite aspects which you could take for your own world

So starting off here the main attraction of this Castle is the storage room this place is absolutely massive and everything is really well organized now I’m doing a really good job of sort of taking all the things that I own and bringing them over here I really like

Having a storage room that has more than one use so I did add some decorational features here and of course there are many floors to the storage room with a skylight and the shaders make it look absolutely insane I really really like it anyways this is the first room when

You come in and of course if you turn right here there are some rooms you will probably recognize from my other videos here is the uh small cram it where you can room with my bed and a few other little utilities that are useful and if

We keep going this way there is the science laboratory but we just showed this off not too long ago so now if I climb up here you can see it’s more storage and then more storage up here uh but this is more like decoration storage really this room up here is about the

Portal I think when you’re building a big castle like this this it’s important to have a big portal even though the noise bugs me I think it’s worth having I think they look really cool and you can see we get A View From Below here with all of our chests and rooms and

Coming up here is not super finished but it is a nice view of our world developing out here you can see our entrance over there and our boat and the observatory and if we jump back down into the courtyard we can then come into here which I showed recently in an

Episode episod and in the build ideas video this is the b o inspired Forge and what’s also connected here which I don’t think was really obvious in any other videos is actually this train tunnel which I showed in the Minecart Track videos so this is actually the start of

A train Network that goes through my entire world so if you haven’t seen that video go check it out it’s definitely a really cool one but now we come back and we can look at the castle once again and there’s one more section to this Castle actually which I showed off recently but

There are some new additions I did add these two fine horses if you have an idea for the name for these guys let me know in the comments down below and I will give you the credits uh on a sign or something in here I really need some

Cool names for these guys cuz they’re my first ever skeleton horses down here we have the Apothecary which I’ve shown before and if we keep going up it is the war room or planification room this is just more Apothecary stuff up here with another version of the table

And a very decorated space with a nice little um Chandelier and a nice little fireplace in the corner to keep us warm while we’re working in here and we are back in the courtyard I just have to plug the server one more time in this

List because as you can tell I’m a big fan of castles so I made the server spawn a castle and it’s a really cute and small little Outpost here that I’m actually pretty proud of and it’s one of the first things I built in Creative in

A super long time so let’s check it out if I fly over here there’s a lot that goes into this one including some awesome custom trees using voxal sniper but basically it is a pretty simple little Outpost here with a clock tower at the top using a fence and a chain I

Think it looks really cool I really like it and of course it’s decorated ated really well on the outside let’s check out the inside here it is a very simple server spawn just a nice big fireplace with a painting and some bookshelves and of course some bushy uh goodness in the

Corners little bench little enchanter and I think what’s really cool about this is the wooden platforms down here which you can hop across and make your way over to the next area of the spawn which is the claim prevention but that’s not really a castle idea um I really

Like how I did the drawbridge here I think that turned out really cool and I think people don’t make enough draw bridges in Minecraft I wish there were more choices though cuz I feel like the design is pretty limited but that is the serers spawn if you wanted to get a good

Look here it’s a uh Tri pillar design so it’s like the center is a big rectangle with three pillars one on the left one on the right and one in the back just kind of giving it that extra detail and that extra texture and silhouette that looks really good from every single

Angle and of course I did add a little bit down here which is purely decorative but uh I think the start of the show is really just like the detail around it I had a lot of fun making this and had some great help from some
