ULTIMATE CRAZY Minecraft Add-On Combo!

After I buy this add-on I will own 9 which brings the total cost of ownership for every add-on to $61 this is significantly more than Minecraft itself and indeed more than a video game but the question is if any of these are actually good did I get any value for

Money well let’s give you some real experience of each of the four new ones talk about the plans from here on out and then do the ungodly thing of combining all 19 add-ons onto one world to see what $61 really gets you but first let’s hit buy and oh no I think I

Need some more coins to buy this okay that took 3 minutes to buy those coins which was a little excessive but now I finally have the crafty companion add-on so some of you might know what crafty is but some of you might not and so my understanding is that it is a channel

That is made by one of the old school Minecraft youtubers log.zip uh but it is made by him but it is not voiced or acted by him and so I guess you might say I don’t know directed or produced is the word they might use but yeah basically crafty is a voice

Acted add-on which is very very bizarre to say the least but if you just give him a friendship bracelet then he becomes we’re GNA be the best Minecraft buddies just tell me what you want to do and so yeah for a if if you watch a certain segment of Minecraft YouTube

Let’s be honest there are many different uh types out there there are videos advertising to all different ages and if you are in one of those age groups then you will enjoy crafting content and you’ll be very excited to see him in your Minecraft world because this really

Is the YouTuber who can give you a quest I’ll get some s stuff and if you just get that stuff he gives you some sweet stuff so I’m going to be back very soon don’t you worry friend you just stay right there and I’ll get you oh no he’s

Not going to stay right there but I’ll get you your Acacia saplings don’t you worry the following doesn’t work perfectly and so he’s kind of just drowning himself down there but that’s not a problem you know I’ve always wanted to drown my favorite Minecraft youtubers so yeah the crafty add-on basically is

One where you get this little fellow who walks around with you and you can tell him to go and dig stuff I don’t know how he ever knows what to dig nice is that it is he going to oh he’s going to oh he’s basically going to

Give you dirt he’s not actually going to dig things he’s going to give you resources that would require that I’m assuming I can have these blocks at some point right yeah give me and then he gives you all the stuff that he’s mind so it’s a way to get AFK dirt and uh

Stuff like that without having to go through the pain which seems pretty cool in my opinion so yeah I imagine that this is very very very heavily aimed at subscribers to that channel and again I apart me says like well all it does is give you resources and quests but if you

Are a big fan of a certain YouTube channel and you’re in a demographic where Minecraft is kind of tricky for you getting some free resources and some extra quests actually seems pretty cool right uh being able to get 16 clay might be more easy and achievable than your

Own goals and so an extra way to do that in Minecraft seems pretty good $5 does seem steep though I think $990 mine coins I understand why creators do it it’s because you know like a lot of that Revenue has to go to the platform holder

Of Microsoft but also I feel like uh you know like $5 for this I I I I feel like I would want more from it you only get one setting which is obviously to turn down the voice and you can tell him to take a break and then he goes away and

As best I can tell that’s the entire it of your value which I just I I personally think is again very good for a certain type of person but also very expensive compared to every other add-on out there the only one that’s substantially more expensive is the naturalist add-on and instead of giving

You free dirt and sometimes wood that gives you over a 100 mobs I just don’t think the value is on point right here and so I’m going to rate this add-on a 7 out of 10 because it really is quite Innovative in a few ways it’s just not

Especially good value for money and so with that said we can move on to the next one now you know I feel a little bad was I was I meant to kill him is that how you meant to be done here anyway that said let’s move on to the

Second add-on which we’ll download from the marketplace because this is World utilities which has one of the nicest put together guide books I’ve ever seen most of the rest of these are just big walls of text but this one tells you what you can do to craft and use each of

The various tools that comes with it so the other thing that world utilities has going for is not just a nice guide book but also the cheapest price of the the new add-ons and so immediately I have to think is there going to be some good

Value to be gotten here because what it adds basically is a bunch of recipes to the game and these recipes can be used to get yourself say an omni tool which we’ll make right now I don’t know why we can’t do that we’ve got an axe we’ve got

A shovel and we’ve got one of those so let’s now make a tool which can do all three of oh God what are you doing here I I I thought I killed you I thought you were gone friend okay we’re free now I can enjoy the use of my Omni

Tool in pieace and let me show you the benefits of this as you can probably imagine from the fact that it’s crafted with honey a pickaxe a shovel and an axe is that it will work as all three of these we can mine blocks incredibly quickly if they’re made of wood we can

Mine them very quickly if they’re made of dirt and we can also mine them if they’re made from Stone this is a true Omni tool and honestly I would pay very good money even if it had to be made out of iron to have this in regular Minecraft because there are sometimes

Where you don’t want to switch back and forth between a shovel and a pickaxe when you’re Mining and so having a tool that could do both is really great and here’s the best thing about this because of limitations on add-on content right now you actually don’t have any

Durability on this or any of the other tools that you can make with this pack and so you can mine infinitely at a pretty decent rate using just one tool which either is op depending on how you see it or incredibly variable there are other tools that you can make here too

So as you can see the vein Miner and the tree capitator are the ones that interest a large number of people but I think to me personally the one that jump out are the explosive pickaxe and the multiblock pickaxe basically this add-on is trying to make many of your dreams

That you might have wished in Minecraft one day but making them come real so an explosive pickaxe will mine using an explosive this is somewhat effective underground as you can see but it’s much more effective at the surface where these explosions will deal much more damage and therefore have a much bigger

Impact something to keep in mind I think it’s a dumb goofy gimmick and it can’t damage any enemies it literally is just how it explodes the world but if you like dumb and if you are maybe even building in creative and want a more natural way to definate explosives a

Little faster way this could be really useful again very useful for the right player but kind of silly for a lot of others whereas I think a much more directly useful item is the multiblock pickaxe so for every one block you mine normally you mine nine with the multi

Block which is really great it means you can dig free free tunnels just like this something so many people have wanted and would beg for an enchantment that could do this but you get this for free in defa you get this as a part of this add-on and that is really wonderful if

You ask me you can use it obviously to make tunnels but I think one of the clever things is that you can also use this to kind of make a very grand staircase if you really want to which I think is perfectly great just remember to switch out for it when you’re trying

To get out otherwise you’ll be trapped in there forever but still I love that this exists I think it’s a really fun tool and maybe you do too speaking of really fun tools um I think we’ve shown off the three biggest and best ones but

I I I think for some people the vein Miner is going to going to be extra great so the vein Miner will M every will mine every single block in a vein in one go so this is kind of hard to uh you know quantify how useful it can be

But uh I I think I have some uh or blocks on me somewhere no I don’t I think I can find some or blocks and show you okay I’m just going to go underneath my house right now because I see that there’s some Redstone here and I can

Show you the Practical World limit World implementation of this which is obviously if we turn this on and then we want to mine a block every single ore will continuously destroy meaning we just mine five lapers for the price of one this can go much much bigger and

Much much better so two Redstone is probably a bad use but on the other hand uh I think that’s about eight coal that I can see right there plus probably more uh coal is really really valuable like this because the entire vein goes at once oh it’s lightning up there how fun

But yeah I think the vein Miner is very very cool but also it removes one of the joys of Minecraft in my opinion whereas the exact opposite is true for the tree capitator so if you uh have ever desired a you know Minecraft is semi unrealistic definitely not fully unrealistic it’s

Something that happens often in the real world but it’s unrealistic for the fact that when you chop down the bottom of a tree the top stays up again sometimes when you chop down a tree in the real world when you get rid of the base the top doesn’t stay floating there I know

It’s very it’s it’s not all the time but it’s often and so Minecraft uh is fixing this using the tree capitator cuz as you can see we oh let’s turn it on activate it okay so as you can see there we go we chop down the base of the tree and the

Rest goes flying with it everything above where you mine will be destroyed and this means that if you’ve got some really really big trees like my very real jungle trees that I definitely have right here every single block even in a fake tree gets mined because all it does

Is it looks if there’s any log blocks bordering the ones you’ve already chopped down and it starts to chop down those ones too so you can do some really really silly things if you wanted to just like this uh I I’m going to test this right now I imagine that if we

Destroy this block right here that whole branch that I placed will be destroyed too oh interestingly much slower though very very interestingly anyway so I have no idea uh the specifics of this but this is a dream come true for people who need large amounts of wood because being

Able to chop down a whole Tree in 10 seconds instead of 2 to 3 minutes is an absolute dream for the jungle and it means that you can have access to as much wood as you want which admittedly you could do with a a bamboo farm right

Now but you can do it easier with this add-on there is one other tool that is noteworthy I haven’t showed you and that is the end block the end frame breaker which looks really cool uh admittedly there’s also a spawner wrench for a similar tool however the way it works is

You get 12 durability and so you can mine an End Portal but I found in practice definitely this will happen to everyone if you don’t Place those 12 perfectly in the same place together then you won’t be able to do it you have to craft a whole new tool so it’s very

Stingy that the only tool in this whole pack is the one I think shouldn’t have durability because how often do you need to mine an End Portal um but yeah I think it’s very very stingy and also it might go horribly wrong for you but as

Far as the actual tool itself goes if you’ve ever wanted to move an end portal in a survival world and not make it uh you know like cheats enabled then this isn’t for you because when you add any add-on to a survival world your you your your achievements are permanently turned

Off and so you probably if you just wanted it for that just hop into creative but if you want an omni tool if you want a TNT pickaxe or a multiblock pickaxe and you want a feel like these are real survival tools that you’re really going to work in your world block

By block with then this is absolutely great and something I can really say is pretty decent but I think um you know a p me would say that I wish there was more but that would make me say that yeah the this is a 9 out of 10 add-on

But as far as value for money goes as the add-ons are concerned this is really really great unless you’re looking for brand new content so I think value money is 10 for what it is but just keep in mind what it is is not going to be for

Everyone but if you do want something that’s for everyone don’t download the mech add-on but I did anyway and so let’s check it out so the mech add-on was the one that I immediately was most skeptical of this could be one of the most interesting or it could be one of

The weirdest and honestly after playing with it I can say it is at least decently put together I really like the sound design and the animation so no matter where else you think you are getting a quality product with this and yeah basically you can craft a Mech it’s

A fairly reasonable recipe I got one in about 15 minutes in survival but it might take you as long as half an hour 40 minutes but once you craft a Mech you have the ability to walk around in this great armored suit this will not protect

You from mobs and it’s kind of like having a horse if the horse was made from metal and also was horrifically slow and so instead what you need to do if you want to enjoy your time in the mech is make sure that it’s filled up or

Fueled up I guess I should say which it requires coal to do you can’t use coal blocks it has to be coal and once you do so you will increase the fuel amount that it has if you want to increase this even further or indeed increase its

Health you can add a gold or a diamond kit to it which is lovely but the things you’ll really want are these Mech modules these Mech modules uh can be things like speed if you put speed on here and then use a me control you can

Now Zoom across the world look how cool this actually is like this is such a bizarre and alien thing in Minecraft but yeah every single time you want to activate this speed boost all you need to do is spend one coal one of the coals from here I I

Assume we were at 44 just now and then we’ll do it again and we’re at 44 still well apparently with the exception of this one each of these should use up one of your coals and so if we want we can now take this off and we can use the

Jewel Mech module to do different things without the mech modules the mech is more or less useless again it’s like a very bad um horse in my opinion but with the Mech modules you can do some very bizarre things so the Dual Mech module allows you to destroy a large number of

Blocks with one hit which is lovely this is kind of like the 3X3 pickaxe honestly but with an extra step um but if you are to min into any ores it will mine all of those ores correctly whereas the mining add-on won’t do that precisely there are

A lot of these different add-ons but in my opinion the only worthwhile ones are the TNT exploding ones uh the speed ones if you want a Mobility device and obviously this one if you want to mine a large number of blocks however at that ability I think wasting a coal every

Time makes this a little worse than the Omni tool or the 3X3 pickaxe and uh so as a result I would say that the mech you know add-on really is here specifically if you want to launch TNT and really use it as an aggressive weapon or if you like the feeling and

The theme of this however it is kind of unfortunate this came out with an add-on which in my opinion is just this but better this is so much better put together I love the animations I love the sound design it feels like you’re in a giant uh mechanical machine they

Really nailed that but as far as usefulness I think it’s a little bit lower so I’m going to rate this add-on a I I think it’s sadly going to be a 7 out of 10 it’s good but it’s not great it runs out of value pretty soon into it

And as far as value for money goes it is a lot more than you want to pay so it’s a six again I like the idea but I don’t think it’s great but there is one last add-on which doesn’t take uh you I’d say uses quite a different theme to the last

Three because it is the magic add-on what does magic in your Minecraft world look like well allow me to show you right after I show you that this Mac is not going to make me immune from this charg creeper by the way the magic add-on is one of the most

Most unique add-ons that Minecraft has yet and not just in terms of the items that you hold and the clothes that you wear I mean seriously look at this hat it’s ridiculous but instead in the form of which it takes so you can Craft Spells with this add-on which is very

Unique and interesting by itself and if you are to craft those spells you can use them at any time if you have the Mana so if I want to use the illuminate spell something that is Handy at this time of night then I can simply Place

One but it will cost me uh about like seven of my Mana it looks like there and also each spell comes with a cool down however this does mean that you can use different Spells at the same time so this is a levitation one that allows me

To fly up into the sky avoiding all of these enemies and as long as you’ve got the Mana or the Mana regen or a little combination of both then you can use these near enough continuously and it even gives you a little slow falling just to make sure that you won’t fool

This is a really cool spell and so is Luminate but we also obviously have some combat ones like Fireball this is a classic wizard spell but it’s a very cool one to see in Minecraft we have Ender blight which I haven’t experienced myself yet so let’s discover for the

First time what this does oh that was that was a very very expensive one but it looks like it’s an AOE attack that just damages everything in an area very handy uh for something like this we’ve got polymorph which I can imagine is going to turn something into a sheep but

I just want to see this firsthand so let’s go whoa It’s not a sheep it’s a chicken I always assumed it had to be a sheep but I guess I’m too half stoned down so what we’re going to do is we’re going to use this again my polymorph is not working

As much as I really wanted to uh and but there we go as you can see brand new mob’s part of this then we’ve got ice blast which is little little weak but very fast to cool down I guess this is a more realistic active spell and then

We’ve got three others that I’m going to show off time warp I don’t even know what that could do are you going to send mobs back in time uh do you slow them down maybe no seems to do something like that summon minion is so expensive that

I cannot cast it even with 24 Mana if I get up to 30 I still cannot cast it and finally we’ve got lightning strike which looks like this I’m going to have to get get rid of these uh zombies right here and indeed that witch and then once

We’ve done that I’ll cool down the summon minion spell and let you see it too okay 45 that’s got to be enough oh there we go wow they have a whole separate minion added to this I like that because instead of you know taking the easy way out for certain things

There is a whole separate set of AI they had to make just for this one spell not everyone who uses a Saturn will use all of the Spells but it’s cool to know that you get a really good one if you’re just willing to spend a little for it so also

Something that’s good to know that I didn’t realize on my first playr also look at that you can see my wand it’s very wonderful um it’s the fact that there is a mine burst spell which looks like this very satisfying at first this is the third add-on that I’m reviewing

In just this one video that has extra fast Mining and indeed uh not just extra fast mining but free by free mining let me show you right here what happens if I go there and then here wait there we go as you can see we can make big mining

However you can also make much bigger holes by charging this down something that wasn’t clear to me but you can do some crazy stuff with it so I’ll take uh my big Cube over here for example if I wanted to which I really don’t think I

Do I can destroy a giant hole in the side of that and the fact that there is a spell just for this is really really cool it’s not just combat although a lot of this definitely does seem to come down to combat it’s also all of these

Other things too which I think is just one wonderful oh we’re changing the time of day whoa see this is another example I didn’t even immediately see what was happening there um but yeah having a spell to change the time of day and to also uh you know like make big minds but

Also that you can zap enemies with I mean what’s not to love it I do think this is a really cool type of add-on it’s not one that I’ve ever really seen or played around with myself and so the novelty Factor does bring up my overall

Score here but I think this is really solid even just to go a step further in my praise of this I want to talk about the way you craft the Spells rather than just giving you these spells you do need to go in here and you need to make a

Spell illuminate with a torch two gold and a Mana Moote this is found by killing enemies so you need to grind out some enemies you need to get some items and then you unlock these spells one by one not all at a time I think this is

Really really well put together and out the current crop of add-ons I might even dare to say it is my favorite so obviously my review rankings here are subjective I I guess honestly any review is always going to be subjective to some extent but this is a 10 out of 10er

Quality I really like the Spells I have to say uh it feels high quality of these models and it feels like you’re doing really cool powerful things my only criticisms are on the unique ways that certain spells work but I I I think it’s very minor 10 out of 10 for uh quality

And for value for money little bit pricer than you might want you I guess the price you want is free but if you’re already resigning yourself to paying on the marketplace anyway I think it’s a 99 out of 10 for value to this is a very solid add-on but it does raise the

Question now that we have 19 of these things wait rather than just saying we have 19 let me let me show you so here are the four add-ons plus default Minecraft that we got in the latest expansion this week and they’re all less than a megabyte interestingly but after

All of these add-ons are added we will have a world which is the most added on I imagine anyone has realistically tried to ever do on bedrock and now here’s the question will the world actually run if we try to do this I don’t know I feel

Like it gets laggier and laggier the more we try maybe 19 is the point where Minecraft gives up I am in by the way which is very exciting to say the least even more exciting is that when I spawned in because I have a f inventory

I ended up with all of these books we need to work out a better and more consistent way to do this because this can’t be the way we can’t just sit here and have a ton of books that try to teach you things because I don’t have

The space for all those books if I want to do magic which as we’ve all discussed is clearly uh as we’ve already discussed I should say is clearly the way that you would want to do these things also I just got killed by a mutant skeleton rip

Okay I’m coming back in here now to collect my gravestone which I’m of course doing with my Mech I’m going to have Crafty my good friend here to help me and I’m not going to lightning strike him because that would be rude and uh then we’re going to get in our vehicle

Uh which I’m going to use solely because I would like to detonate some colossal TNT and I’m going to do it right at my big NE portal just cuz I’m curious uh you know like obviously the obsidian survives but I am kind of curious at the

Same time how bad the area around it looks so let’s find out okay let’s uh drive away from this explosion and uh let’s enjoy the fact that if you want to take any existing Minecraft world you now can get all sorts of silly things in

Here I mean look at the way this car moves this is already ridiculous you can do all sorts of additional silly things in your Minecraft worlds and one of those is so silly that it might break literally everything oh wait did it did we do is that all the damage we did did

The Water Shield everything else oh handy explosion proofing advice right there overall though I would say having 19 add-ons in one world is kind of underwhelming if it’s an existing one in a lot of ways because the stuff just feels like it’s appearing there at random you’ve already got your own tools

And things that you want to do I feel like it makes more sense in a Brand’s new world and that is why I think the only realistic way to check you know to test this is to bring back a classic series of trying to beat Minecraft with

All of the add-ons enabled which is something I’ll be doing I will regret very strongly oh look crafty will help me take down the mutant skeleton it’s something that I think might actually start to work out in my favor if I’ve got a if I’ve got a little person that will

Work in here and I think the new add-ons really are ones that will help more than hurt with Minecraft but there’s only one way to know and we’re going to be testing precisely that out in the meantime though I think it’s worth asking what is Mojang doing here this is

Very unique for a piece of content in that they released 15 all at once and then didn’t have any announcement about when more would be coming and didn’t even announce this batch they just kind of said oh they’re on the marketplace if you want them and it means that over a

Month we’ve gotten just one content drop worth about 25% of the original size of the release and so what is their plan I think it is to be very strategic by going in these small little batches like this they can make sure that if there is any controversy they can address it

Before it’s too out of hand I think the rest of the marketplace moved a bit too quickly and so you ended up with all sorts of silly things that no one in their right mind would pay for but they technically existed the classic example of this is that like well a lot of

People wanted Sky Block oh man you there there is so much content in the marketplace now that you have nowhere finding any particular map you’re looking for it uh it feels almost like the the word people use these days on the internet is slop right it is just

People are making as many skin packs as they can I have you know there are only so many skin packs that can exist that we be purchased but they’re so profitable because you just make a 2d skin model and you will again you can sell hundreds or thousands of copies in

Some of these cases but it means that there are so many skin packs there are so many worlds and so many of these worlds are quite basic especially in some of these categories like survival spawns um there it’s it’s a real shame in my opinion but it is something that I

Think they want to get away from they don’t want the marketplace to be this place where who knows what you get it’s the Wild Wild West I think that rightfully they’re trying to make sure that when you pay for something you’re going to get a decent or at least you’re

Going to get an experience that matches the one you’re being sold on and I do think that right now limiting the qual quantity seems to be getting at that but I think they’re going a bit too extreme on it if they are currently at four pieces of content every month I think

The idea behind the marketplace should be that you can find stuff that is on par with stuff out side of it and as I discussed in the video this week there are much better add-ons available outside the marketplace than on it right now and it feels very strange that you

Have to pay more money to get the worst experience and or as this thumbnail from the video so beautifully posits this is one of my favorite really good job to Harrison making this um if you don’t pay money you get an end update and if you do pay money you get a
