Chapter one why video games are actually bad for you and yes they are the first lesson you must admit that video games are actually best for you so I remember when I used to play video games I never actually admitted to myself that they are bad not only with This habit like with other bad habits that I used to do in my subconscious I would like know that yes there is a problem with me doing this thing but I would never admit this I don’t always keep just hiding away from the truth because I wouldn’t want to face the Consequences if I would actually say that yes this is bad because I I would say that video games are bad for me if I would say that the thing that I’m doing eating junk food scrolling social media for hours a day if I would say that it’s It’s not it is actually actually bad for me I would actually have to change them because I don’t want to do something that’s bad for me and I didn’t want that I didn’t want to get the feeling of guilt when I would be playing video games because I would be because I would Fear discomfort and hard work that comes from that must happen when you try to quit video games this guide is not for the people who think top seven way like tell me that the the the the top [ __ ] seven re on how I can get video games it’s not going to be Easy but first of all if you do actually want to quit video games and you and if you feel like it’s a thing that’s making your life worse you must admit it you cannot light yourself and there’s a lot of wrong with playing video games that I’m going to cover Briefly in the first chapter but why I making this guy guide and who I who am I making it for I make I am making it for my younger self and for people who are like me who used to be like me who played video games all Day who felt guilty when their parents would tell them to stop playing because they knew that it’s actually better but they didn’t want to change and wor thing about it they didn’t know how to actually change so this guide is not going to take action that’s going to make you quit video games easier but it’s not Going to be easy and you must admit that they are actually bad before it start spicing out and saying oh but it’s not not bad Pro but but video games relax man I really like to play them before I go to sleep but on weekends I don’t have anything to Do you cannot just hide away from the truth just like that if you really want to quit him the first step that you have to take is actually admitting that they’re bad it’s not saying that getting video games once a week is actually good for You no it’s not we going to call or why in this chapter but it’s video games are not good you can be here sitting here and lying to yourself habits and actions that promote a high release of dopamine frequently and that [ __ ] up your pain and pleasure balance there’s always consequences to Doing those habits and playing video games is just one of those habits there’s always consequences of playing them and they’re not that good two you are masculine and you have the masculinity masculinity inside of you so one of the reasons to why you are actually like so addicted to a video Game is because you can achieve things in that video game you can compete against others you can become better than others you have status in that video game and there’s progress that can be made and it’s easy to actually make that progress like even grinding in a video Game is kind of hard like building the farms in Minecraft and like leveling up in bedwars and stuff like that it’s it’s not easy but the fact that you can just click your fingers like this and get that fake sense of progress that’s the first and one of the worst Things about actually playing them and you can’t be here again lying to saying and saying that it’s not as bad I only play it once a week but you still are getting that fake sense of progress and mind is content with that it’s it’s okay with that you’re achieving progress it doesn’t Care where you’re actually improving if you’re improving that’s great for your mind it thinks that you’re achieving something even though you’re not by playing video gam you kind of brainwash yourself you’re constantly leveling up in that video game but your mind thinks that it’s it’s real your mind thinks that you leveling Up in a video game is actually going to give you more status which is which it does because when you level up in a video game all of your friends say how cool you are and know you have this and this and this and this the first problem if actually Playing video games is because of is that fake sense of accomplishment because if you wouldn’t if you would actually listen to what I’m saying and if you would actually stop the big part of your mind interrupting and saying that video games are actually bad video games are Actually good for you if you would just kind of shut that part of your mind off and if you would just listen for a bit you’re achieving things which aren’t even real you don’t up in a in a virtual world which is not real it’s all on your Computer it’s all it’s all in your phone but that fake sense of achievement is what actually makes video games so addictive you can do anything that you want in it you can play 24/7 the companies that have created the G those games they’ve actually made it so it’s as addictive as possible There’s way to track your there’s ways to track your progress there’s goals that you can achieve in that game and just over all the gameplay and all of that just just the story of the game is actually fun and that’s why you play that’s why you’re actually so addicted To it it’s because of that fake sense of achievement constantly in your class in your day-to-day life you’re just thinking I want to do this and this and this in that video game cuz it will bring your status in there it will make you better and you Just constantly think on think about how to get better at that video game how to improve not in real life but in a that video game and this is one of the biggest problems that comes from like when you play video games you start obsessing over the Virtual world progress in a video game becomes more important to you than progress in real life because that video game is more fun you can play with your friends there are like things that you can do in it and it’s addictive yes video games are addictive and especially of this thing Is because of this fake sense of achievement really think about it you’ve been just achieving things over and over and nowhere and nowhere in video games and that feeling is good winning in video game feels [ __ ] good you want to win more and so we keep playing that’s the second lesson of this Chapter lesson three you become an NPC in the real world and this lesson kind of correlates with the second one and when you play video games you get that fix s of achievement as I said in the previous lesson but you level up in that video game but the the real life Is actually getting worse your real life is actually getting worse you’re constantly thinking about how to improve in a video game as you get more and more and more it get worse and worse and worse in real life your health decays your physical health decays your mental health Decays you must admit it to yourself but yes it’s bad to play video games and there’s consequences to you doing so and one of that con consequence is that you actually become an NPC in real in in the real world you become AFK this is a term that Like Gamers use in the real world you’re not present at all your mother is talking to you you can’t even listen to her you’re constantly thinking about that video game you’re weird when you’re around others you’re like [ __ ] don’t know what to talk about you just like The only thing that you want to talk about is the video game that you play and real life becomes boring to you when you’re constantly playing with you real life becomes boring to you there’s there’s nothing you can do there’s nothing fun you can do in It you can like [ __ ] be the Ender Dragon in the real world so that’s why you choose to play video games you cannot like build farms and I don’t know get like get netherite armor in real life so we choose to do that in Minecraft But as you do that more and more and more as you keep leveling up in the virtual world your life becomes worse and worse and worse and worse and you must admit it you cannot just be here like oh no oh no it doesn’t for me for me it’s Different you just don’t understand no it’s not you’re choosing to play video games that means that you were sacrificing something else because there’s always like things you can do and you choose which one which thing to do and sacri like you choose something and you sacrifice other Thing you could go and stud right now but you go and play video games you cannot do both things at once like yes you can doble be like it it there’s no fun in that or let’s say like going to the gym you cannot go to the gym and play video Games at the same [ __ ] time so choosing which thing to do and by playing video games constantly like [ __ ] constantly seven hours a day you’re sacrificing other areas of life which are getting worse and worse and worse and if you keep playing more and if you don’t level up in those areas of Life those areas will get even worse and your life will get even worse and your mental health will get even worse and your health will get even worse by playing video games constantly like each [ __ ] day you literally become AFK in the real world you become an NPC in the real World you don’t really know what to talk about with other people you you don’t like anything and you only want to play that [ __ ] video game you’re not present at all you’re doing activities you’re eating junk food you’re eating food that’s really [ __ ] tasty that is actually like hard to get That food your parents had to work hard for it and you were just eating it like without even like really appr appreciating it and obviously it’s not just because of video games it’s it’s not just because of video games video games are a big part of That you’re kind of living a second life by playing video games but that life is a bit worse cuz yes you can do all of the things yes it’s like fun to play them but you are the player that you play with in the video game that’s the main character and You’re kind of just the clone of it let you say you you are not the actual main character of your life and the worst part about it is that you’re wasting your life by doing that and again you’re [ __ ] telling me Oh but but it’s it’s different for me I Only play 1 hour a week you’re still choosing to play virtual world you’re CH you’re still choosing to do things in the virtual world which I’m going to be honest don’t matter in the real world world it’s like you’re not you know I’m going to use a weird Example you know where there’s like phones there’s like the [ __ ] Ultra Pro Max phone like Samsung Ultra Pro Max I don’t know like whatever and there’s the light version of it which is like worse than the best phone your life is the ultra version like you the things That you can do in the real world that’s like the ultra version that’s Ultra Pro Max like 10,000 like and video games are the light version of life well yes they are more fun yes you can do like all of the [ __ ] in there but as you do that you are Wasing your Life you’re experiencing in and you kind of Ving your life like if you can admit it that’s already great but that’s the thing that you’re doing like really think about it you’re kind of living a second life that’s not actually as good as the one that you have like you don’t you’re not Going to be living on this planet Earth for a long time and you’re spending that precious time that you have to constantly think about the video game that you’re going to play you become AFK in the real world you become un president in the real world you can’t just sit here for like [ __ ] 5 minutes when you play video games Lesson Four they are a huge waste of life and I’ve kind of touched about like I’ve kind of talked about it this in the previous lesson but I really want to talk about this more video games are a huge waste of time you’re constantly Thinking about how to level up in a Minecraft world while you while you’re destroying your own life they are a huge waste of time and waste years months by playing them and what do you get out of that what do you get out of that really asking this question what do You get out of that you’ve played video games for like what for like 5,000 [ __ ] hours 10,000 hours what did you get out of that have you built something that you truly proud of have you built up your character have you built I don’t know maybe business or have you built up your Body is there something that you’re proud of okay all of the like status and things that you’ve gotten in a video game yes but you’re not really that proud of it like you’ve kind of grown up and it’s not really even that like it’s not even that worth it you actually play the Video games anymore but you still keep doing it video games are a huge waste of time and let me say that the third [ __ ] time video games are a huge waste of time you’re constantly waiting till you can level up in a video game while you Can do all of that in real life and you can do that 24/7 and don’t have to wait till you can like go on your PC to play you can do that 247 you waste months of your life doing this [ __ ] started to rain but you Waste a lot of time playing video games but what have you actually gotten out of them you know that like phrase it takes 10,000 hours to master your skill like look at your hours in the video game for me it’s like I’ve played like 2,500 hours I think around that and It’s like it’s not that high of a number compared to some of you who are watching this video but like from those 2,500 hours that I’ve played there’s nothing really that much that I’ve gotten out of it there’s one thing that actually like really changed my life I’m not going to tell there’s One thing that which really like [ __ ] changed my life but it’s it’s not even it didn’t even come from playing video gam it came from watching like YouTube videos on other about other people playing video games I’m like I learned English that way that’s the only thing that like really really [ __ ] like helped me and it still helps me now because I’m like this channel is in [ __ ] English but I help I learned English that way which is the thing that I get to be grateful for yes like I’m grateful for that I’m I’m even grateful for all the Fun memories that I had with my friends like if you really think about it there probably has like 8 100 straight hours very we just laughing your ass off in a video game where it was just so so so so fun yes I’m I’m great for that yes Those those memories I can actually remember them and the VIN that I had with my friends and stuff like that it’s awesome but the other 2,400 [ __ ] hours the other like [ __ ] 3 months of my life wasted like it’s like I spent that time playing the video game and I Was bored most of the time and I actually did that I was bored for like [ __ ] most of the time that I play video games just I’m like bro I’m grateful for that I’ve that I’ve like learned English I’m grateful that for all of the fun memories that I had with my Friends but that is like 1% that’s 1% of all of the time that I actually spent playing video games that’s only 1% and the 99 99% they were just a waste of time and I’m I’m not afraid to say that I admit it yes it was fun yes there Were moments where we were just laugh like laughing so [ __ ] much the winds that we had with our friends it’s fun I know the feelings that true feeling now you might even be a bit sad like a bit angry about me that I’m just like [ __ ] hating on video gam so Much first of all I just want to you to lift your fullest potential but second second of all like yes there were some C memories memories don’t get me wrong I’m not just completely hating I’m not saying that like it is a huge waste of time but There were some moments where it was fun where I actually like learned something but could have just like learned the skill just straight up so yes okay there were memories and stuff like that yes okay but 99 like 99% that I 99% of hours that I spent playing video Games I played the video game and it was actually like boring to me like I just load up micr I don’t have anything to do so I just play it it’s like it’s it’s I don’t have anything to do that’s way I play and I didn’t get anything out of That I just played the video game and I got the moment there pleasure that come came from playing that but like that’s it I’ve invested like [ __ ] 2,000 for like more than that I think hours of me playing video games and you’re telling me that the things that I’ve learned is like a Decent like I can speak a language decently which is great and like I had some fun moments with my friend but if I would have taken those 2,000 [ __ ] hours that’s more than two months by the way if I would have taken those hours and if I would Actually put them into spending time with my friends or learning a language I would have I would have had way many way more memories with that friend with those friends and I would have and I would have learned a language way easier if I Would just be Ling if I would just if I would have just spend that time leveling up that skill so even that is not that big of a deal even that 1% of time yes it was fun but I could have chosen to actually spend the time in real life with those Friends to have the fun memories so video games can be a huge waste of time huge [ __ ] waste of time yes to learn some things here and there but if you would just level up that skill directly you would learn way way more if you would put like [ __ ] like however Many hours you have into a skill like one particular skill and if you would just like that [ __ ] grind like the the way they to grind on a video game if you would just grind like that let’s say in the gym or like I don’t know social Skills or the things that you want to improve you would improve your health you know how [ __ ] jacked it would be like you know how much better it would be at a certain skill if you just [ __ ] improve for 2,000 hours now you’re like getting me like Now you’re kind of like thinking about yeah maybe video games are not actually that big of a deal maybe they’re not actually that that great really think about it bro really think about it there’s like still some lessons to this chapter we’re going to get Um the second chapter is going to be all about how you can quit them and like all of that but just really think about this now yes okay you had fun memories in that video game yes okay there were some fun times maybe you’ve actually learned Something but I thing is that if you would have actually directly improved on that if you would have if you would have actually directly went house with your friends and like you had like fun memories in real life it really probably been more valuable so there’s just a couple of More things that I want to talk about in this chapter there’s like some like if you watching this far there’s like some fascinating [ __ ] things that you really want want to hear bro there’s some really big like there’s a lot of things that you like there’s one thing that you probably don’t Know once I was learning about it like blew my [ __ ] mind this is what video games actually do bro the sun is out it’s beautiful and it’s the start of lesson five you the the pleasure isn’t actually even worth it so as we’ve covered in the Previous lesson like you spend a lot of time playing video games this this going to be a short one since I’ve like covered most of it in the previous lesson but we’ve spent a lot of time playing video games and it wasn’t actually that valuable the the pleasure that you felt It wasn’t even that good like really think about it think about the last time that you played the video game yes okay it was like kind of fun but it it wasn’t just like really [ __ ] fun it wasn’t just like the really fun thing that you did With your friends it wasn’t like that it was like 20% of it imagine like remember the time that you had like the most fun literally the most [ __ ] like event in your life you playing video games yesterday that’s 0.1% of the fun that you had like it’s it’s not even Comparable and I remember the first time I downloaded Minecraft okay I’m I was really [ __ ] hyped like I’m am hyped I played it all day really really fun I played with my friends like it’s really fun I like I play bedw Wars and like that really [ __ ] Fun and then I kept playing it I kept playing it I kept playing it I kept playing it and it became quite of boring it became kind of repetitive it became just something that I do that doesn’t really even bring me that pleasure and worst of all when I do Stop playing the video game I feel even worse so that pleasure isn’t even wor with probably Bro think about the last 10 times that you’ve play play video games was it that fun was it that worth it was it something that you would pay $10,000 € 10,000 to do again probably Not probably not so the pleasure isn’t even that worth it lesson what lesson like lesson six what you’re doing by playing video games is riding away from the Ping you’re hiding away from the pain that comes when you don’t actually play the video game you’re hiding away from The Real World you’re hiding Away the fact I’m not here to insult you but you’re hiding away the fact that you’re actually a loser in real life and you just scope and play video games because you don’t want to feel the pain that comes from experiencing like that comes from just the real you Because in the real world you’re you’re not like that great you don’t have that many accomplishments probably I’m not here to insult you but just think just just like [ __ ] shut up your ego for a bit I’m talking to my younger self bro this is what I [ __ ] needed I needed This lap to my face you’re hiding away from The Real World by playing video games you’re in the virtual world you’re hiding away from the real [ __ ] world you’re hiding away from the pain that you feel feel when you don’t play video games and this is why you you guess it why you Play video games so much because you hide away from the pain that comes from not playing them you hide away from the fact that you are bad in real life you hide away from the fact that you don’t have any accomplishments in real life and you try to substitute That with the fake sense of playing video games with the with the fake sense of accomplishment when that comes from playing video games yes video games are bad and yes you are hiding away from the Pain by playing video games by doing bad habits you’re hiding away from the pain that Comes from not doing those habits this is really mind [ __ ] blow like the next lesson is going to like probably blow our mind but this one I really needed some time to think about it and I was quing my video games when I was getting video games I actually Realized that oh [ __ ] bro what the [ __ ] am I doing I’m hiding away from the real world I’m hiding away from the fact that I’m actually bad and I suck that I [ __ ] suck in real life and I’m substituting that with video games I don’t have anything to show off In the real world I don’t like really have anything that I achieved in the real world and I don’t like that so I keep playing video games I don’t change that but the thing that I do is I keep playing video games so I just kind of Forget about it so I just kind of video games are Escape you you use video games to escape a to escape to escape from the real life to escape from the problems that you have and this is only making you weaker this is not those problems Are not going to [ __ ] erase just like that from the sky those problems are only going to get worse and worse and [ __ ] worse if you don’t do anything to change that those problems are going to get worse if you try to escape them it’s not going to happen they’re going To get worse action is the thing that solves problems and if you hide away if you don’t take action if you escape if try to escape the pain that you feel it’s only going to make it worse the last lesson of this chapter lesson seven is the pain and pleasure Balance and the thing that fascinated me once I was learning about like dopamine and about addictions and stuff like that is that frequent chasing of pleasure just frequently indulging in pleasure pleasure and pleasure and pleasure and pleasure this is what happens when you play video games and constant running Away from pain this is what you do when you try to escape the real world you run away from the pain causes more pain later there is a let me just show this to you bro look here is this here is this so there is a pain and pleasure balance In our bodies imagine there is okay this level tips it a side of pleasure you load up the game this level tips it a side of pleasure but when you close the game when you turn it off when you turn your Computer off this lever tips it aside of pain your dopamine rose up like your dopamine has risen up when you started to play video games this which means Bro [ __ ] I just threw away that here is another stick so there’s pleasure there’s pain so Y open me has Risen up when you open the game so it goes to the side of pleasure you feel better you feel more motivated and stuff like that and when you close the game you’re open Event below the Baseline because there was a sudden high peak and then when it goes below the Baseline don’t feel Good you feel bad and this is the thing that I’ve learned and it it it’s with every single bad habit that you do is with every single thing that invokes pleasure as soon as you actually do it intive instant pleasure what however you want to call it when you do things that bring Like that invoke pleasure instantly after you do the thing they are not good for us and look let me grab this lever again the worst thing about it the worst thing about it is that when you feel bad when this lever is when your is below The Baseline when this lever is on the side of pain you feel bad and you want to change that so what you actually do you go and play video games again and this level is on the side of pleasure again you feel good you stop playing that video Game it goes to the pain of it goes to the pain side but now it leans more onto the pain you feel even worse now you don’t even know what’s happening you go and play video games again you go and eat junk food again oh pleasure wow You’re feeling good the sles to the side of pain again constantly repeating in pleasure constantly rep repeating pleasure it makes our life worse and it [ __ ] our life up [ __ ] our life up the worst thing about addiction is it causes emotional Anastasia what emotional anesthesia is is when after you like frequently Indulge in pleasure indulge and indulge and indulge indulge and indulgent pleasure in pleasure of activities that instantly bring you the pleasure that you don’t have to normal activities just like activities that humans do just sitting and eating or doing Something that is pleasureful it’s not pleasureful for you anymore there has that have been studies done um they took two groups of people scientists two group took two groups of people one group they were completely healthy they didn’t have an addiction the second group had an addiction and They kept indulging in pleasure and pleasure and pleasure they took photos of their brain the people who didn’t have an addiction the part of their brain they like the kidney beans in their brain they were red red which means he high level of activ like which which means a High activity level of neurotransmitters in their brain neurotransmitters in their brain which basically means that they can transmit dopamine but the people had an addiction when they took photos of their brain the worst part about it is that that part of their brain it was dull it Was pinkish there wasn’t even like that much color color left which means that they couldn’t transmit transmit as much I mean which means that you cannot enjoy normal playes anymore which means video games are not as fun for you anymore which means video games are a bit more boring to you Now this is what having an addiction does to you and this is what video games do constantly indulging in pain and hiding away from constantly indulging in pleasure and hiding away from the pain makes you feel more pain this is why you feel bad if you’re playing with video Games this is why you don’t feel good after playing video games is because that pain is is because that lever is on the side of pain this is what video games do to you and you cannot light yourself and say that they are still good no they’re not there’re science proving it your Experience second one is a slow detach Like you basically just slowly detach yourself away from the addictions you have like video games you slowly stop playing as much I remember when I was trying to cre the games I used the second way but it doesn’t really matter it’s it just how actually fast do you want to make that Progress um because as I said the first way is easier but it’s hard like by the way I’m not even a minute on your PC so not Like completely cut them out for first 30 days but the thing with this one is that the first two weeks are really hard you must understand the first two weeks are really hard you’re going to get urges you will want to play video games you feel feel that something is Literally wrong because your dopamine is now is below the Baseline you’re not playing video games you don’t you’re not in that Peak zone so do is below the B Baseline you’re not going to feel good like you’re going to feel weird it’s like something is missing the first two weeks are going to Feel like that but if you get through them if you get through those two first initial weeks as far as you can say to yourself you kind of qu video games if you don’t play them after those two weeks and if you just like don’t play Them at all after the month you won’t have the urges to play them after those two weeks you the urges will be way way way smaller the hardest part is just like getting through that too weak phase and I personally as I’ve said I when I was Cting video games I detach myself away from them so that I use the second way but I’ve seen really good progress made when other people used the fierce method in like quitting other addictions like junk food and stuff like that I’ve seen people literally make a Lot of R and even I like when I was starting to quit J food I just did that completely like I cut it out um but I ate it after like seven days um what else what else what else um I cut out like social media especially like YouTube I just cut it out and it’s a powerful way to quit addictions it and you just must understand that the first two weeks are hard but how to get through it easier is do not run away from those faults remember when previously in chapter one I said that You are running away from The Real World um so by using this by by playing video games you’re hiding away from The Real World and when you will try to quit him you’re going to get these FS you’re going to get these FS you will want to Play with you will want to go back it it it is going to feel weird because you’ve you’ve been used to playing video games for your whole life so now it’s going to feel weird you understand it’s going to feel weird it’s not going to be comfortable and when that does happen You must not run away from the your faults you have to observe observe your FS do not like let them influence you you will get Fs oh I want to play video games it’s not that bad it’s just a couple of minutes you cannot like in you cannot let your Thoughts influence you they passing by you feel good you feel bad after like you feel good one minute and then you feel bad at the second one it’s your thoughts fluctuate they change and you must not let them influence your decision you have to be an observer whatever your brain is Thinking whatever they be part of your mind is thinking do you want like oh I want to play video games really much you must observe and not influ and not let those FS the part of your mind influence the decision do you understand if you if youve chosen the First way and if you’re like literally starting the fast from today you must not run away from those FS because when you do run away from those FS what are you going to do you’re either going to go and play video games because you Try to run away from those FS you try to run away from the pain that you’re feeling or to do another bad habit but the best way to actually like run away from those WS is to do something else to literally it’s either to stay with your mind just literally observe those FS Literally like think about them and that’s how you improve your willow by the way by by resisting the urges that’s how you improve your real power you can either do that or you can either just go and do something else that actually like productive like go to The gym like go and heavy clean meal go outside literally just go outside whatever you just get have that out of that environment out of your house as fast as you possibly can that will make it so so so much easier or like if you do want to like really level Up your real power skill you can um stay inside your house and just like observe those spots without letting them influence you but if your real power level is like low and I’m not here to insult you you can actually improve it um you can improve the skill but if If if it is low um then the second way might be for you because that the second way is it’s the it’s the way that I’ve cre addictions I actually slowly detached myself away from them especially like video games bro I filled up like as decied to Ru Myself more as I started going to school and like because obviously like School takes up literally half of the day um I remember on summer I used to play a lot of video games and at the end of the summer I decided to quit him um I Remember school was just about to start and I remember like I had a Minecraft world and the hardcore world like I had like maybe like 400 Days I had like farms in it so I was like I I had a lot of Bru in that video game and I remember Like you know where there’s like you can achieve achievements and there’s one achievement that that you can achieve is to fall from the limit um for like to fall from the um limit like build limit to the Bedrock level and to hit an MLG water bucket to to just basically like Survive and I remember also at that time I built I know that I’m getting on aight engine also at that time I built up I built a um what’s the [ __ ] word I built a totem farm so basically you’re just like immune to anything like you know what toems do in MRA so I Tred to do it at MLG and as I’m doing it like I I I’m talking with my friends I I’m hyped that I’ve built the farm because I have unlimited totems and when I’m trying to do that MLG I did not land it and you might Think that okay like you had a totem and so nothing happened actually forgot to put the totem on and the whole world is deleted the whole world is deleted I’ve lost everything and that was the end of summer and I said to myself I’m not going to play video games anymore I’m Going to detach myself away from them and school started and so instantly I had less time to play them and I just played them less and less and less and less I play them less and less and less and less I just slowly Dash myself away from them because I filled up Like I filled up my day with good activities I started going to the gym I started working out I started eating clean I started doing martial arts work I started going to school so I instantly literally like for the day for the work day I don’t have time to play video games I Literally just simply don’t have time to play video games and I can only play on the weekend so I played a bit here and there on the weekends but I started going to J on the weekends and so I had less and less and less time to play Video games until one day I just completely stopped I said to my friends no I don’t play them anymore and I never went back so these are the two ways that you like hopefully the store I know inspire you or something like that but these are the Two ways that you can actually quit addictions these are the two like most powerful face that you can equit addictions it doesn’t matter which one you choose it’s better you actually have the intention to quit video games it doesn’t matter which one you choose you choose to slowly detach yourself away from it That’s good by the way we’re going to talk about like how to make all of these methods easier later in the guide but it doesn’t matter which one you choose if you never give up if you keep trying to quit video games you will eventually quit them and the reason to Why I talked in the first chapter the reason to why I talked a lot about why we games are bad for you um how they like [ __ ] up your life basically is that on those days when you actually want to play the video games you can think about It you can think about it you can literally like think I can play video games right now and get the momentary pleasure but it’s it’s not even that great for all of those consequences there’s literally like seven lessons in that like first chapter six or seven lessons in that first chapter on how They actually [ __ ] up your life so it’s not even that worth it that’s end of lesson to three you must believe in yourself so it doesn’t as I’ve said in the first in the second lesson it does not matter which one you choose you can choose any way to quit addictions especially video Games but if you never if you decide if you literally eliminate the option of quitting if you literally say to yourself I’m not going to quit trying to quit video games until I actually quit them if you say that to yourself mistakes become learning lessons you become immune to mistakes Because if you said if if if fa if giving up is not if you’ve made giving up not an option for yourself it doesn’t matter if you’ve played video games even today just because just because you have so much faith in yourself you learn from those mistakes and not only That you grow from them and not only that you will end up quitting because if your only option is to never give up you you will quit addictions you will quit addictions if your option is to never give up like it doesn’t matter how many mistakes you Make it doesn’t matter how much time does it take for you to quit addictions that one thing that one beautiful thing is that you will never give up you will keep trying and trying and trying to quit those addictions until you eventually guess what until you eventually Duke with them You must have your why if you want this to work you must have your why why do actually want to quit them why they actually want to quit addictions what’s the point of you doing so what’s the point of you quitting video games that’s why I’ve told like in the first chapter That’s why I talked about why they’re so bad maybe you don’t want to face the consequences all of those consequences that I’ve mentioned maybe you want to level up in real world maybe you don’t want to let video games sap away your masculine desire maybe you don’t want to Have your pain and pleasure balance in your body [ __ ] up maybe it’s all of these reasons maybe you just I don’t know maybe you’ve gotten Bor of video games maybe you like that’s that’s why the first lesson of this like guide was that you must admit that they’re bad for You this is your why it’s because they’re bad for you and we as humans don’t like to do what’s bad for us like obviously this is a thing but if that thing brings us pleasure that’s why we do it but now that youve admitted that it’s actually bad and now that you know That the bad outweighs the pleasure it the the pleasure is like the bad the consequences of you playing video games are worse than the pleasure this is your why this is when you like Won’t Give Up think about your why as I said it might like and it’s usually because you Don’t want to [ __ ] up your life it’s usually because you don’t want to live a better life right you don’t want to feel the pain of just being an NPC in the real world you don’t you don’t want to be a loser anymore you actually want attraction From gills and I know that this might you might not admit this to yourself but you actually kind of want that don’t you you kind of want the huge muscles and you want to achieve something in real in the real life at least these were my reasons to why I never give up These were the my reasons to why why actually wanted to quit video games and because of that because I’ve said to myself what are my reasons I didn’t quit and this is an actual step right now pause the video or like keep watching it right now grab your piece like I Don’t know write it on your phone write it on your notebook write it on your paper and just stick it up on your wall and write the reasons to why why you want to actually quit addictions because on those days where you’re going to have the urges on those days where You’re going to feel bad and sad and you don’t want to do anything else but just play video games on those days when the urges are just up there on those days where all of your friends tell you to play video games on those days where the new fortnite event is out Or the new Minecraft like version has released you have your why and you can look at it you have all of the reasons to why playing video games are actually bad and so that’s why you don’t actually want to play them and you don’t you must never give up this Is if I can if I could tell you one thing just in life in general and I know that everyone [ __ ] talks about this I know that every [ __ ] person talks about this but if we’ve chosen the right path never give up if you’ve chosen to follow your dreams And maybe you want to become a YouTuber maybe you want to like I don’t know maybe you want to have a business and nobody believes in you you must be the one who actually does because the nobody else is going to believe in you I know that this is Getting into like a motivational [ __ ] speech but nobody else is going to believe you they have their own things to think about they have their own um Ambitions they’re not going to believe in you and even if you like if you even if you have big Ambitions it’s going to Make them not believe in you even more but you must be the one who does you are the only person who can change your life you are the only person who can actually believe in yourself yes your mother and your family like even they might not believe in You even they might not believe in you so what happens then what happens if you then you don’t if you then don’t believe in yourself you fail and you don’t achieve anything so this is like a life lesson that I’ve learned believe in yourself especially you’ve chosen the right path because Sometimes you can like you and never give up because if you like choose the right life you like I want to be an orts player like whatever you choose whatever your Ambitions are your life whatever you want to achieve first of all think about whether achieving that thing will actually make Your life better and if yes stop giving about a [ __ ] about what other think if that’s the way that you want to live your life if you want to quit video games and if your friends tell you that you’re stupid you must never listen that’s the Way that you want to live your life you want to become better don’t stop anyone don’t let anyone don’t let anything stop you from doing that if you want to achieve something believe in yourself you must have Blind Faith In Yourself literally like I’m talking Blind Faith and I must actually believe you Must actually never quit if you want to quit read games you must actually never quit trying to create video games there’s going to be a lot of mistakes you’re going to want to play video games you you will actually play them and you will lose your streak but it’s about learning from Those mistakes and it’s about never giving up let me repeat this again it’s about never giving up four start leveling up in real life theyve kind of talked about this in the lesson too but it doesn’t matter which one which which which thing you choose which way like you choose to put your Addictions whether it’s the fast for whether it’s like complete absence whether it’s like loaded that yourself away from it this thing is going to help you so much V just start leveling up in real life remember when I told you the story at the start Where um it was summer and I had lots of time to play video games I played I played I played then I lost my Minecraft world and then school started and then I realized that I maybe don’t want to play video games as much anymore and I also Started improving my life I started to do the good habits as started going to gym I started doing martial arts and I literally don’t have time to play video games anymore this will make it like so much [ __ ] easier it like I’m I’m not even joking let me just take you on a Little walk right now I’m not even [ __ ] joking bro that will make you so so so much that will make it so so so so so much easier for you to create addictions bro you can’t even imagine it will make it so much easier when you Just have [ __ ] to do in your life when you have things that you have to focus on when you have other things that are actually more important than video games you won’t play them you won’t play the video games because you have something more important to do that’s that’s an obvious thing So fill up your day with better fill up your day with other activities make sure that you’re like those activities can be I’m just going to like list them out a bit later but fill your day up with good activities and like instead of I see a lot of people Making this mistake instead of like no let me just say anymore I wanted to play my phone but like why not just take any so I see a lot of people just like they stop they they stop doing the certain habit they sto playing video games or something like something like That um and there’s just way more time in their day now there’s just like way more [ __ ] time in their day and what they and the reason to why they play video games then is because they don’t have anything else to do they’re bored they’re in their house They Pro gaming Maximum PC computer uh G4 4 4090 is here and so they go and play video games their friends are calling them and saying do you want to play video games and so they go and do this but the video you can actually avoid this is by doing [ __ ] in Real life is by not even having the time to play video games by not spending as much time in your [ __ ] room sitting all day you understand bro it’s really really [ __ ] important like I literally comped video games instantly when school started when I started doing Workout when I started going to the gym and when I like started doing martial arts training I literally instantly quit the [ __ ] video games like 3 months passed by and I I haven’t played them anymore and I didn’t play them anymore so there are certain activities which You can do which like make it like so much easier for you to cre video games and those activities are um improving your physical health so whether that might be going to the gym whether that might be doing a calisan workout do that and if you don’t know What to do literally today you go and do this after after like watch this video um go and do 10 push-ups go and do 30 situps and go and do 30 squats that’s all you [ __ ] need if you’re starting out if you never worked out before that’s all you [ __ ] Need do that every single day and you instantly have less time to play video games now you have something else to focus on now now you have your body and your Aesthetics and you finally realize oh [ __ ] that’s actually like kind of cool like I can improve my body I can The same way that I used to improve in video games I can like now actually improve my status in real life and I can get some [ __ ] muscles so that’s really important the second area that you can improve in your life is mental health and by the way on the physical Health you can also improve your diet and like you can start taking cold showers and stuff like that we’ll get into that like in this lesson so but the physical health the main point that you can start doing is just hit it start doing workouts so the Second way the second thing that you can improve one is mental health and you probably think that it’s like weird to [ __ ] improve your mental health like who the [ __ ] improves their mental health but it’s mental health you can think of it as your mind if you’re constantly anxious if You’re constantly depress if constantly sad like you will play video games you will want to escape the real world but imagine imagine yourself in other way you’re happy you’re fulfilled you’re grateful you appreciate the world and the beautiful trees around you you look forward to hitting a workout and your Mind is actually clear it’s not anxious it’s not sad or depressed you have you’re grateful for the things that you have around you that the the fact that you can eat food and stuff like that imagine that way of living life now you’re here sad depressed constant overing Anxiousness you could be living a life where you fulfill the Grateful present all of those things if you improve your mental health and it’s not [ __ ] gay to do that it’s not [ __ ] gay to do that you’re not going to be like a [ __ ] if you’re you’re a man You’re not going to be a [ __ ] if you improve your mental health it’s it’s basically you improving your mind there can your body cannot be strong without your mind the same the same way with your mind your mind cannot be strong without your body these two work In like what the I don’t remember they work uh but they don’t work separately they they are attached to one another you must have a strong body and it must have a strong mind so the second so there are couple activities that you can do to improve your mental health literally Today um the first one being meditation meditation is not [ __ ] gay bro shut the [ __ ] up it’s not gay to improve meal H again I’m telling you this and the way that to meditate is you close your eyes you sit down or you can do it standing Up you can not even close your eyes you can lie lie down you close your eyes and without any weird [ __ ] [ __ ] you just take breaths obviously do it with me bro I close my eyes you close your eyes and you take breaths and you focus on the Breath the point of meditation is to become more present and when you’re constantly having faults in your mind you’re not present because you’re thinking about those faults so meditation helps with this and what you do you close your eyes and you start taking breaths and there’s going to be faults Coming into your mind but constant it’s not about like it’s not about completely eliminating thoughts out of your mind it’s about coming back to thinking about the bre breath it’s about coming back to focusing on the breath so close your eyes even I got a fault but like it takes Some time for you to get used to it you can download an app on your phone but this is the basics of meditation you close like you close your eyes you can do it with open eyes it’s you don’t really necessarily have to focus on your R but this is what’s the most convenient so you just focus on your breath while you’re meditating while you’ve closed your eyes and thoughts are going to come into your mind you’re going to think about different stuff but it’s about not getting sad that the thoughts come into Your mind that’s actually good if thoughts come to come to your mind that’s that means that you are that means that you are um doing it well um and if what come to your mind you just focus on your breath whenever you whenever you like consciously are aware that you have a Lot of thoughts in your mind that you’re thinking about something else when you’re meditating you just come back to focusing on a breath so do it literally for 3 minutes today three minutes if you if you cannot do that do it for 1 minute easy simple literally 1 minute of Meditation one minute of focus on your focusing on your breath you don’t even have to do one minute like just 10 breaths and we already did like five so and the second way to improve your uh mental health an easy way to actually improve our mental health is by Gratitude and it’s not [ __ ] gay once again it’s not gay to like be [ __ ] right to journaling I don’t know where this came from but when people that I started to learn about like meditation stuff like that I thought it’s like so [ __ ] weird to do it as especially as A man like to improve your mental health and to like [ __ ] V it to joural like who the [ __ ] does this but as I said there’s no strong body without a strong mind and there’s no strong mind the a strong body so improve our mind improve our mental Health improve our body improve your physical health and a second way to improve your mental health is by I’m just like walking up here right now and I’m losing breath I need to do some more [ __ ] cardio so this going be to improve our mental health is GRA is like doing by gratitud Journaling so what you do is basically you can either think about the thing that you about the things that you grateful for but an even better way to do it is to either to either say to somebody else that I’m grateful for you because you’re a good friend or to write It down on a piece of paper or just like a notebook or a notebook that you have make sure that when if you do decide to like write it down make sure that you don’t do it on your phone like even though yes you can but it’s going to be It’s going to have a bigger of an impact on your mental health if you do it on a piece of fer because it takes more time you have to ride and stuff like that so these are the two ways these are the two areas in your life that you can improve In your physical health your mental health these are the ones that you can start with um the same way you used to level up in video games now we can level up in real life and improving in these areas in your physical health in your diet in Your in your present skill so like meditation and gratitude and the third area is just social skills like bro just [ __ ] talk to your family talk to somebody talk to your [ __ ] friend like it’s not that hard it it’s social skills is a huge part of life they Brighten up the world they make the world so so much more it adds so much more depth to the world I think that if like it’s good to be alone it’s good to be with your fault sometimes but especially like talking to other people like walking in your Park and asking the Dogs owner what’s that dog’s name it it adds so so much more like enjoyment to the world so these are the three areas that you can improve your life and and these are very the action little steps as you said H is simple workout like 10 push-ups 30 squads 50 crunches medit it And do 10 breaths maybe you can download like some app on your phone I use medito um and think about the thing that you grateful for or write it down that would be the best and just talk to somebody to your family to like I don’t know to your [ __ ] brother or sister just talk to somebody to your friend and now the the fourth actionable step is to actually make a routine so I found the most progress I’ve made the most progress in my life when I actually started to do things on a consistent basis at The same time every single day I started to meditate at the same time every single day I started to work on the same time at the same day I started to read and by the way learning is another area that you can improve in your life so Like learning even the thing that you’re doing right now you’re learning on YouTube reading books and stuff like that it’s it’s really good so make your routine it’s like common sense just write it down on somewhere you wake up you do this you do this you do this like You brush your teeth then you maybe go and meditate then you go to school after school you hit a workout after a workout I don’t know maybe you go and hit another one like a martial arts workout then you go and hang hang out with friends and then you go to sleep just Make like then you maybe gratitude Journal before you go to sleep then you take a cold shower and then you go to sleep so make a routine it’s like self already but it’s it that’s it helps you so much when you’re not just like constantly deciding When to do like all of these things that I’ve just mentioned when to improve your life when you’re not just constantly deciding oh should I meditate now or should I meditate later when you just do it whenever you need to and when you have your routine it makes it so so so So so so so much more [ __ ] easier it’s like brushing your teeth it doesn’t matter whether like you be tired or sleepy you just go and brush your your teeth in the morning and so that will be the same with meditation and all of these good habits but the thing with all Of these good habits is that you’re doing them and you’re improving your life you’re doing them and you’re actually improving your life you get all you get all of the same feelings that you used to like get get you get all the like accomplishments like you get the same Accomplishment feeling but in real life and it actually helps you now so make it like literally make your routine right now bro right [ __ ] now click on this video make your routine and come back to it and if for a forth way to actually do all these good habits like the second Way to do all these good habits because the first one was makeing your routine um the second way is to make all of these good habits fun so working out you I don’t know you might want to go outside and work out um you might want to sign up to your Gym because that’s really fun you might want to bring bring bring a friend to your workout that will make it more fun you might want to compete against yourself and see how many push-ups you can do or stuff like that you might want to compete against your friend and see how many Push-ups he can do that will like make it more fun uh with meditation right the journaling all these things just make sure that the environment is enjoyable make sure that like you’re just like coing your room and you’re like meditating it’s it’s like warm and stuff Like that that that that has helped me when I’m not like [ __ ] cold and I’m like shivering like that like I find it really to be really what it word to be really enjoyable meditation for me is when I just like take deep breaths and I just Fully relax my body and I just take like really deep breaths really slow the breaths and kind of the meditation just the meditation becomes fun I don’t need to do anything and just the meditation is fun for me so this is what you can do um just when you’re meditating just like Fully relax yourself like take deep breaths and in that state when I’m really like relaxed after meditation I know I just really like it so and with gratitude journaling bro it’s like a couple of sentences that you have to write so make sure you have your routine For when you do it and it will honestly change your [ __ ] life and with social skills it’s just like fun to talk to people so yeah there’s nothing like weird about it so this has been the biggest thing that has that has actually helped me to quit video games Um is by the like these are the three things that have helped me the both to quit video games defining my why why did I actually want why do I actually want to quit him and on those bad days where I want to play video games I just don’t Because well the pleasure isn’t even worth it the consequences of me playing video games outweigh the pleasure the second one is just having blind faith in myself the first one is just filling up my day with other activities with like other activities that take up time and so instantly when I do Those activities I don’t have time to play video games which is like the easiest way that you can qu video Lally by filling up your day with better activities and I’ve told you which activities you can fill up your day with so that’s the end of lesson four five level up your willpower So you will get urges to play video games you will get urges to do bad habits you will want to go and play video games with your friends the new like season is out and you will want to play video games and when I was quitting them the Weird thing that I’ve actually done that nobody actually seems to talk about because like especially when people try to quit junk food the one thing that they do is just they throw away the [ __ ] junk food out of their house like you’ve seen this like probably and you’ve even tried this probably you’ve Even tried this yourself they just throw the [ __ ] like the junk food the [ __ ] away out of their house like just they throw it away they don’t buy it but then when they friend but then when they friends of offer them some junk food they say yes why like at at home they Don’t eat it anymore because like obviously there’s no junk food but when their friend offers them to eat it they do it why because their real power skill is low they cannot resist urge what is real power is resisting eror just it’s the simplest way that I can Explain and when I was quitting video games I’ve made video and this once do not delete video games do not delete video games literally like a lot of people what they do is they delete video games and they say I’m never going to go back to it delete social media and they Say I’m never going to go back to it and they go back to it because the real power skill is not high enough but a beautiful thing about life is that you can improve everything and so you can improve your real power skill and the way that you do that is by Resisting thees you get the to play video games you resist it you don’t play them you get R to go you get the urge to go and call a friend and ask him does he want to play video games you don’t do that you your friend tells you do want To play with games you don’t guess what do that is that simple is that simple to level up your real power skill and as time goes on it will grow and you will play video games less and less and less and less because your real power skill Is higher and you can resist D there is sometimes are going to be bad and you will actually play the video games but you must learn from it you must not beat yourself up for it you’ve taken that action you cannot change the past now so stop obsessing Over it change the future change the present the way you do that is by learning from your mistakes you guessed it once again so this is how you level up your rep skill you resist the urge to play video games um you can there’s a Couple of ways you can do that you can just like resist the urge um you can go outside you can change up your environment so you’re not in the environment your like PC is not near you so you can’t physically even play the video games um that the second way like I suggest that just get out of that environment as fast as possible go outside take some deep breaths I don’t know go out with your friend just do something so you’re not in that environment that should get the urges in understand um you’re going to get a lot Of those urges you might even like play those video games but as I said learn from your mistakes why did you play them change the future not the past and level up your real power skill it’s going to be hard it’s not easy nothing is [ __ ] Easy if you want to achieve something in this life nothing is easy but you will do it have faith in yourself and believe in yourself so improve real power skill do not delete the video games do not delete the video games off of your phone Try to resist them try to resist them as much as you can this is how you level up your R power skill and this is a meta skill a meta skill is the skill that level that helps you in every single area of life so it’s not only going to Help you in video games is going to help you in everything in life in quitting other addictions and stuff like that if your will power skill is high you have will power that’s it so yeah that’s how we improve it don’t delete video games yesterday I ate some junk food and a b reason to why I did it because there were lot of my friends Around and I just decided to do it and like I just decided to do it even though like I usually say no but yesterday I said like [ __ ] it I’m going to eat some junk food and I eat it um it’s infrequent I do it like once a Month I do it twice like I do it once in a couple of months so it’s like not that bad but I I make sure that it’s like really infrequent but I still did it yesterday because well my like I was with her friends and stuff like that So I’m not only blaming them obviously it’s like it was my decision but usually When My Friends Ask me do you want to like play video games or do you want to eat some junk food I don’t do it especially in the old days bro when my friends would asking me To play video games I would do that like I would go and actually like play video games with them because I I don’t know I just like didn’t want to say no but if your friends actually tell you to play video games and if like they want To play video games you I’m not here to hate on their friends or stuff like that it’s a sign that they like those friends they’re not on the same level as you because you want to like start you want to quit them you want to improve your life and they Want to keep playing them so it’s like you were different now and second of all if those friends just keep telling you oh do you want to play video games do you want to play video games and you realize that maybe they weren’t the best friend could have had Because you realize that it was the it was the thing that you both liked you didn’t like like each other the thing that you liked is the video game that you played and you only played it with like you played it like you both played it because you’re kind Of like like your personality a bit but you didn’t have like that many things in common but you just like the game and so you played so your friends it is hard like it’s [ __ ] hard to say no to your friends when they ask you but it’s I I do think that it’s About what you want to achieve in life because it’s about asking this question what do you want to achieve in your life and living up to your values if your values are that you want you are improving your life you don’t don’t play video games anymore don’t waste your Time anymore you’re not going to do it but if you your values are that I’m I want to have like some fun here and there and stuff like that you are going to do it so it’s about choosing the way that you want to live life it’s About how do you want to live it it’s about your values it’s about your goals it’s about your Ambitions what do you want to achieve there’s not a particular thing that I can tell you yes you can cut off your friends and stuff like that but If they will they will try to they will want you to play with if they want will want the old you back and if they do want that that might be a sign that you need to cut them off but it’s up to I I way to literally gain respect your parents will probably respect you way more your the friends That you the people that you don’t know will respect you way more when you say it to them that you don’t play video games but your friends you’ll probably think that you weird and this is how we filter out whether your friends are actually like dig G’s or they’re not probably their real Friends they’re friends who are good who are great they will actually like inspire you and they will say yeah oh oh you’re creating video games I actually wanted to do that too with you so we can do this channel we can both do this but the big part of Your bro your the worst friends that you have they’ll probably try to bring it down they’ll probably think that you’re weird they will probably like want to to play video games they’ll probably ask you to go and play video games with them even though you’re trying to play it So if you quit video games and if you like try to quit them people will think they should weird especially our friends maybe like some people your peers who are the same age around you some people might think that you’re weird for doing this like oh you’re like Like improving your the chapter one and chapter 2 so that that will help you to quit video games and your addictions so the first one is External commitment so this one is just basically like setting a CH challenge for yourself um to like setting a challenge with your friend or telling somebody that you’re just not going to play video games anymore I remember when I was fying drunk food I set a challenge with my friend to stop Eating it for Ev completely and and we did that and it was like we were we were fun to do it because we challenged one one another it was like way more fun to do it than we actually did it but you would just say it to yourself like you Would kind of want to slack right like you would kind of want to slack wouldn’t you like if you want say to yourself like who gives a [ __ ] like I can’t lie to myself sometimes like but when you say it to another person you won’t lie you will actually say like you Will do the thing that you both need to do the challenge that you both said you will do the thing so set a challenge with your friend maybe find somebody in the comments and maybe get to know them like personally like somebody if you’re watching this video like comment I’m Trying it will actually make you do the thing the reason too why I’ve actually stayed like for at least for my standers I’ve stay like so [ __ ] consistent with recording videos the reason why is because I upload them online and People see it and I’ve told many many many people that I come here to this park every single day and I record videos and I like I don’t record videos here every single day but I upload videos every single day and i’ and I have haven’t miss an upload like there Were some times where I uploaded a video two videos then next next day because one didn’t upload because of like internet issues and it’s still like I’m still taking responsibilities it was my problem but that’s the thing like I I still like stayed for like seven months straight And I’m still like doing that for like around eight months now I’ve been really consistent with loading videos why it’s because I’ve literally told other people that I’m going to do it every single day and I’m keeping my word I don’t want to break it and that’s why I do it so Tell somebody especially like somebody if you can’t do it it will make it so much easier maybe just tell it in the comments that they want this I’m going to do a challenge for 30 days of not like like I’m going to do the first method of quitting addictions is Abstinence and I’m going to completely stop playing with Eng for 30 days and you write one day I haven’t played them it was hard but I still didn’t play them the second day I rewatch one part of your video and like do that okay it might even boost the Algorithm and more people see it if you don’t want to do it okay write it on your like like I don’t know on paper but external like commitment will really really really help you um just like setting a challenge with somebody like it it makes it so much easier to stay Consistent so so so much easier to stay consistent the second thing on those days where you’re not feeling motivated because no what that [ __ ] sound um on those days where you’re not feeling motivated we’re not feeling motivated to improve your life you’re obviously like and there are going to be days like that There are going to be a lot of days where you’re just not really feeling like it so because what what that’s what that leads to is you sit in your house all day because you don’t want to do anything you’re like kind of lazy and bored and then you go and play with Because you don’t have anything to do you don’t hit a workout because well you’re not motivated so there’s things that you can do to improve your motivation one thing um I’ve Lear I’ve actually learned from like David Goin I saw him talk about this and that’s like So like that’s perfect advice he just said it think about the excuses that you’re using oh I’m really tired today I’m like I’m I’m like [ __ ] this and this and that I don’t want to do this because of X Y and Z I don’t want to go and hit Your workout because of this and this and that and then reist and like maybe even like record yourself saying that and then listen like you would kind of start cringing because of how like [ __ ] how [ __ ] you would sound you would kind of like start cringing right and he Would just and then he would just go and do the thing so start literally trash talking the VI Part of mind I’ve made a video on this once and it’s kind of like it has like 2,000 views start trash talking the big part of your mind literally when it says oh I don’t Want to go and like hit a workout today I want to play video games start trash talking and say shut the [ __ ] up no I’m not going to do it shut the [ __ ] up you little [ __ ] like I don’t know like trash dog part of your mind the same way You used to do that in video games trash the we part of your mind I don’t know this might like sound weird and something like that but it really does help or like literally record yourself using excuses and then hear that recording this is like another way to Actually like do the thing that you need to do it’s because when you hear yourself like saying oh I’m really tired today I don’t want to do it like bro like what the [ __ ] you’re a man grab yourself and just go and do the thing That you know you need to do use some discipline and do the thing that you need to do so yeah that’s the thing that how you can like improve motivation and another way that you can do that um remember when the first in the first chapter we Talked about like the pain and pleasure balance the thing about this is that the thing about dopamine is when we do something hard as I said when you do something hard that level goes on the side of pleasure because our dopamine is now like risen up has now risen up so When you do something hard like H workout Ticky C shower or there’s a couple of ways that you can improve your dopamine like dopamine by the way you might think that dopamine is like pleasure or stuff like that dopamine is not actually pleasure like dopamine is not actually pleasure Dopamine is involved with it but dopamine is the molecule that’s actually responsible for motivation and we want to actually increase it we don’t want to do it do detox detox so we decrease it so the way that you actually do it there are a couple of ways that literally make You literally two times more motivated I’m not even joking two times more motivated like a 50% rise in dopamine and it has been scientifically proven it’s not like bro s it’s like it has been literally scientifically proven you can take it called shower that freezes your do by two and a half times Above the Baseline that’s so much [ __ ] motivation and it takes like three hours to come back down so for literally for three hours you can be two and a half times more motivated to go and do other hard stuff it’s hard but it will make you really motivated in Another like easy way that you can literally get motivated is in the morning after you wake up if there’s sun outside go and view it instantly literally as soon as you wake up if there’s sun outside go and view it it will boost your motivation by like Around 50% which is a huge increase to literally on a sunny day 5 to 10 minutes of like sun exposure is really great on a cloudy day 10 to 20 minutes of sun exposure is good on in like on a really overcast day um maybe 30 minutes is good If there’s no sun out when you wake up um wait till the sun rises up um and instantly go aside when it’s when the sun is out but it’s really really powerful you will sleep better if you do it too but bro that’s so [ __ ] insane like 50 minutes like 50% and a 50% increase your motivation just because you vent outside in the morning and view sunlight That’s like [ __ ] insane the [ __ ] that our body does that’s [ __ ] insane bro like it’s literally [ __ ] insane I’m literally doing this in the morning right now it’s [ __ ] insane bro what our body can do So yeah and the thir thing is go and do something hard like H work or do mental or or do mental stuff and it’s all about just realizing that you like it’s lit all about like discipline and motivation it’s just about going and doing the thing I know That this might sound weird I know that it is like just tell me the top s ways to become motivated or like I’ve actually given you some ways to become motivated but there’s no secret to discipline you just go and do that hard thing literally you just go and do the [ __ ] hard thing and when you get into Flow State when you builds up it’s so much easier bro so much [ __ ] easier it’s like 10, 10,000 times easier but the momentum builds up when you or when you’re already hard in the gym and you’re doing a leg day bro it’s it’s It’s it’s like then it it’s flowing and stuff like that but when you’re when you’re in your house crawling on your phone obviously you’re not going to be motivated to hit your workout the thing is that you only need to show up to the Gym you only need to show up to like the [ __ ] workout you only need to start reading one page of a book you only need to take one breath when you’re meditating then momentum builds up and then you become actually motivated to do the higher thing you only need to start Lally start It for 1 minute that 2 minute R just start bro just [ __ ] start doing whatever you need to do and don’t play video games so that’s it um for the motivation side that’s it and the second lesson is going to be how you can actually Implement all of this advice that I’ve Given you in this like 1 hour plus guide so yeah listen to how to actually Implement all of this advice so there’s going to be this is just like like actual subject you will have to take today today not tomorrow not today and then there’s Going to be quite a lot of them today literally today but they like easier ones and then tomorrow the day after they after there’s just like becomes a part of your routine there’s not that many things to do so the first one is to figure out the way that you’re actually Going to quit your like the addiction that you have video games it’s either like whether is going to be the uh method where slow detach yourself away from it where there is going to be the method where you what’s the word um where you completely do abstinence it doesn’t Really matter just choose a way that you want to do it that’s the first actionable step the second actionable step is to not run away from those FS literally the the second that you start quitting video games the second that you get the urge that you want to play video Games do not run away from those faults as we have covered in like chapter three do do not run away from the F observe them do but do not let those emotion that you feel influence the decision that you take the first the third actionable step that you have to do Today is make your routine so make your routine of when you’re going to do the good habits um make sure that there’s like no time where that is like free that you spend at your house because if you like don’t have anything to do when you’re at Your house you’re probably going to go back to playing video games because you’re just born and you don’t have anything to do so on those when that time occurs when you just don’t have anything to do go outside just get out that get out of that environment so make a routine it’s Frey Common sense you just make your routine then you will do the good habits um the second one the fourth like actionable thing is go and hit a simple 10minute workout as I’ve said do 10 [ __ ] do do 15 push-ups do 50 burp is do like I Don’t know hit it like do 50 squads do 50 crunches and do like I don’t know do 10 burpees that’s the workout that you need to literally start doing that today and the fifth thing the last thing is tell your friends when they do text you That you like do want to play video games or stuff like that tell your friends that no you don’t want to play video games today no I’m busy I don’t want to play video games okay or just see them that you’re quitting them and I like I’m trying to quit video games I Just don’t I won’t play them anymore hopefully you understand if you don’t like we’ll see but yeah these are the five acual steps you have to take today literally today if you want made progress today do it today and if you do these five steps what like then what you Do then like the next day the next day the next day so the next day what you do you there’s like three steps left you go in hit a workout a simple workout you meditate and you do gratitude journaling so that’s like three simple habits and that’s like the first point The second point is you say no to your friends and spend more time outside like like spend more time outside is like in in the first point the fre point is just like talk to somebody literally to your mother to your [ __ ] friend whoever you want to Talk to literally level up your social skills like that and literally just keep improving like that keep improving your life keep um bettering yourself every single day and you will become better and you will have less time to play video games because you’re doing something in your Life and this is how you actually Implement all of this
