Ultimate Guide: Upload Your World to Minecraft Server

Wish to go and copy so then what you want to do is go and quit the game just like so and wait for it to go and quit find the world which you wish to upload to your server in this case is this one here and then go and press on edit and

Click on open world folder so this will open up the folder where your world is and then you want to go to the top and go and click on saves and this will take you to all of your worlds select the world like this and then you can go and

Close off Minecraft just like that and then what you need to do is go and name this something easy to know so I’ll right click on it and go and click on rename like this and I’ll just name this upload just so it’s really obvious which we’re trying to upload and what you’ll

Need to do is then right click it and in order to upload this we will need to compress it to a zip file so press on compress to zip file then it’ll be compressed like so and it’ll have its name upload. zip or whatever you named

It and then just drag the zip file which you want to upload onto your desktop or somewhere super easy to find now come onto your server control panel like I am now and we need to go to the file page so it’s probably called the FTP file

Access well it is on apex anyway so click here and then we can go and sign in like so and here are all of our files and now what we need to do is go and upload the world so there’s an upload Buton button in the top left on apex

Probably be somewhere different on your host I’ll click on add files and then we’ll need to go and find our world here’s my world called upload. zip so I’ll go and click on upload and then it will start the process once it’s finished uploading you can go and press

On back like this and now what we need to do is go and unzip the file so here it is find it again it’s called mine’s called upload. zip so it’s super easy to find and go and select it once you have it selected press unzip like this and it

Will then unzip it I can choose where to extract it to which I just want it to be the default place and I’ll go and click on submit now you can go and find the folder it will have created when you unzipped the file and here it is it’s

Called upload so go and click on it just to make sure everything is in it as you can see this is all the contents for the world and you’ve now successfully uploaded it but now what we need to do is set the server to go and use it so on

Some host you’ll then need to go and change this folder to world because that is the default uh folder that the server ever goes and looks for to go and load the world and so you’ll need to go and change the name of the original World folder however on apex this doesn’t

Apply and in the main panel we can go and decide which World folder we want to go and use but as I said majority of hosts will just be using the world folder so you have to go and click on this and then you can go and rename it

To world and you need to restart your server but as I said this is different on apex so let me go and press back and come back here and then we can go and choose the name of which world we use to click on change world and I’ll then need

To go and choose to name for the world we want to use which is called upload as I said every host will be different so you may need to check how you do this for yours but yeah mine’s called upload and then we can go and restart the

Server so I’ll press restart now you may need to restart yours manually and then it’s going to be using that world once your server has restarted let’s go and join it so I’ll click on multiplayer and join my server down here and we’re now connecting and as you can see this is

Exactly the same world I uploaded because I went and created this Tower and now you can play this world with all your friends because it’s on your server so what you can do is give your server IP to your friends and all play it together so I hope you found this guide
