Ultimate Iron Golem Farm in FarmCity

What is going on everybody and welcome back to the Minecraft farm City series all right guys so in this episode uh we’re going to we’re going to go over to the notice board right now so I can show you what we got cooking also as you can

See a little change here um we decided to install the uh shaders mod now um I don’t really remember what the shaders pack is I will leave a link in the description to that I’m using the fabric mod loader uh not cursed Forge or OptiFine um that’s just because I use

The free cam mod and this is uh what what it calls for well all righty so uh a couple updates um we actually uh redesigned the roof um I was kind of sick of all of the Cobblestone steps so we redesigned a little bit added some uh

Extra upside down steps um I did see someone in the comment mention it um yes uh I do I do read the comments so we did uh throw a little bit of windows in the front here and some upside down steps on the trim of the roof now over here as

You can see we finally finished the animal barn now um I kind of was just winging it um because I I went off of a a basic design I found on Google Images um just to kind of get a you know an idea of what to actually build here and

Uh from there on I I kind of just uh did my own thing so uh we we got our we got our we got our cows here we got our sheep and um I did end up getting one horse um we still need to fill uh the

Barn up with some chickens and pigs that way we have all kinds of livestock as you can see over here I also made a nether portal behind the enchantment Hut and inside the enchantment Hut I did finish it up with uh the bookshelves that were needed and I threw a

Grindstone in here just so we can disenchant uh books and different items that um I I don’t want the enchantments on we did end up enchanting our uh little diamond pickaxe here here um we have efficiency 2 on our pickaxe and our Axe and we put that Smite 4 book on the

Sword in the last episode so over here on the notice board as you can see we have a huge list of things to do uh we need to build an iron golem Farm build a lava generator build an XP generator build an automated Wheat Farm build an automated sugar cane Farm get chickens

And pigs go to the nether build a mob farm build a trading Hall and I kind of just threw all this together make a melon potato pumpkin carrot beetroot and Berry Farm now the first thing I want to do today in this episode is build an

Iron golem farm and the reason being the lava generator needs a lot of Hoppers the XP generator needs Hoppers the automated Wheat Farm needs all kinds of redstone and Hoppers and just all kinds of stuff um the sugarcane farm needs a lot of observers so we have to go to the

Nether to get some quartz the mob farm needs Hoppers um and yeah so we we we just need a ton of iron and we kind of just smoked all of our iron uh we only have nine pieces left because we needed to make four Hoppers a couple buckets

For lava just to build our Iron Golem farm this is our current projects chest so everything in here is going to be used uh to make the Iron Golem Farm I just found this one simple design on the YouTube and uh yeah we’re going to build

It over here we need a big flat area um so I’m I’ve been working on uh trimming this big old chunk out right here so that’s what we’re going to finish doing um it might need to be bigger than this um not by a lot but I I think I think

This is what we need uh we’ll have to do once we start building the actual uh Farm we’ll we’ll know our dimensions and how far we have to extend out but yeah like I said in the previous video um I I said I didn’t want to to be over indust

Industrialized and terraformed flat but some of these Farms do require that so we’re going to try to keep it as natural as possible but this farm right here does require it to be flat and that is for the Iron Golem spawn purposes so that is what we’re going to do right

Here so yeah let me dig this giant chunk out real quick and uh yeah we’ll see you guys in just a second oh would you look at that beautiful sunset I mean this freaking shaders pack I I used to have shaders a long time ago but I really do not

Understand why I have not Reed it especially making these Minecraft videos all right guys so we finally got this whole thing dug out and it is night time now so we are going to go uh sleep off the rest of the night here um I really really hate how squared off this little

Hillside is so we might trim that down a little bit um my shovel is already almost broken which is insane but um we did as you can see we did end up digging a ton of dirt out so hopefully this is big enough we’ll start building the

Actual structure of it in the morning all right guys it’s a brand new morning so now we’re going to start by I think we I I believe we’re going to have to extend it this way some um I’m going to have the video playing on my other

Monitor that way I can follow step by step on how to build it and I’ll also do step by step of how I am building it in this video like I did with the enchantment Hut over there okay so first thing we need to do is dig a 7x 6X 2

Deep hole is that a creeper up there dude I just killed a creeper like 5 minutes ago all right let’s go get rid of this guy before he just sneaks up on us and blows a hole where we don’t want a hole all right so we need to dig that

7x 6X two hole so we’ll do it right I kind of want it as Center in this plot as possible so probably right here all right there we go we got our 7x 6X two deep hole okay so now we have to go on the longest side and do a 3X3 so

I’m just going to dig this block out so we have a stepping stone out so one all right now we have our 4×3 deep hole okay so now we need to dig 12 blocks this direction oh would you look at that we stumbled on oh my goodness it’s a full

Ravine no way I hope this does not mess this up it might mess this up oh no oh okay so I think we’re going to scrap it right here I’m going to go over and we’ll do it on the sugar cane plot that we did we’ll break that because

Eventually we want to do an automated sugarcane farm so this is not going to exist so let’s build it here we’ll knock out the sugar cane and just build our Iron Golem farm right there all right four blocks deep 12 blocks in with this middle section cut out now we’re just

Going to build a staircase leading outwards all right we’re going to grab all of our stuff out of our our projects chest and go back over there so now we got to lay our three beds down right here just like that and then now we’re going to put our stone slabs right here

And right here we’re going to put a trapo here put one right underneath it and then we can break this top one and we can break this block oh no that didn’t nope that didn’t open right hold on okay there we go now it’s opening properly okay so now we’re going to

Place torches so nothing can spawn down here and now we’re going to place a boat right here and then we’re going to add torches all the way out we’re now going to fill in right here and place our remaining trap doors right here now this

Is going to be the long part um I need to bring three villagers over here which is why I have three boats so we can grab them from the village over here bring them right here and then that way we can wait for night and they can fall onto

The bed this part’s going to take a while since the village is pretty far and um I have to row the boat all the way over here with the Villagers so I will see you guys when I have that done okay guys we’re finally back to the Iron

Golem Farm you I cannot even fathom how long that took to get these villagers all the way here uh I’m just going to show you real quick um oh hopefully we don’t uh get too hungry but I’ll just give you a general sense of what I had

To do um once we come up on this little Hill right here I had to build a 2 by two path all the way there and all the way down that way to the village and I had to I had to dig up the uh the paths

Like the cut paths just so the boats would function properly but I finally got these two villagers all the way back over here uh the day is almost done which is perfect timing we can get these guys in here hopefully it works with two villagers if not we’ll make a ton of

Bread and breed these guys so um they can actually make a third uh third little baby villager all right we need to unload our chest I we have so much dirt and Cobblestone from that expedition okay we finally have food again we’re going to come over here and

We’re going to actually get these villagers to the beds and then we need to get uh uh we need to get a zombie to fall down in this trap door to hit the to hit the boat that that I left down there all right guys hopefully this

Works please go down in there please go down to please go oh I hit you I’m so sorry uh-oh uhoh uh-oh uh-oh please don’t come up no no no get down get down aha now you can only go towards the bed all right go to the bed all right

That’s one all right bud I need you to get down there oh wait I don’t have what oh wait did he go down in there yes he went down in there oh I just made that bucket for no reason but thank God that he went down in there okay so now that

That is done we can actually cover up these villagers so nothing will uh attack them now we just need to go to one of the sides dig four holes then we’re going to take our four Hoppers do that we’re going to got to come out of

The hole now and dig down here we can place our two chests down just like that now uh we need to place four blocks right here take our four half slabs place it like that now we’re going to take our signs Place one there here here and here

Just like that and then we’re going to place these four signs just like this and we’re going to take our lava bucket and just place them there boom now that is how we’re going to kill the iron golems and with that done we need uh two

Buckets of water which I left this in infinite water supply over here for that purpose exactly put one bucket there and put another bucket there so that’s done actually I don’t think we can have this Cobblestone uh that cuz I think that could be a spot for the uh

Iron Golem to spawn so we need to put this back as dirt okay so now that is done we need to do seven blocks of path so there’s four wait four 4 5 6 7 now we just got to clear a path all the way around in a giant

Square all right now that we got this whole area trimmed out um now we just got to wait for nighttime and get a zombie down in this uh into these trap doors right here and then that way he goes into that boat and hopefully we will have our uh our

Farm oh there’s a zombie over here it’s like perfect uhoh all right hey hey hey right here buddy right here no no get in there come on you can do it ah I believe in you ah he keeps jumping I just need one come on thank you all right sounds like they’re

Freaking out I don’t know I don’t know if this is going to work hopefully this works I don’t see any iron golem spawning we might have to have a third villager which I was kind of afraid of so what we’ll do is just dig a little staircase down to our villagers and

We’ll go make some bread to breed them I don’t know if 24 will be enough but hopefully it is all right guys I’m going to oh no that was the wrong thing to throw what okay hopefully these guys pick up this bread oh I think they’re doing their

Business let me see did they make a babby they did not I might need to give them a lot more food than that okay guys so we took a break so we could like try to find another Village uh just so you guys can see how much crap that I’ve gotten from

This Village alone we we have almost two full stacks of hay bales which is perfect so we could breed our villagers I would try to get one of these villagers home but we are like over a thousand blocks away so um I think we’re going to Journey back to the house and

Start breeding the villagers check this out guys we found another Village on the ice we actually uh might find some pretty good equipment here potatoes let’s go oh heck yeah oh oh oh oh we need to throw that out oh is that a carrot oh my goodness

Guys I’m sorry for like screaming but we found potatoes and carrots like that is such a huge freaking uh achievement okay we have a couple stacks of bread now hopefully we can get a villager to spawn oh there is a baby V oh what happened okay okay we do we did get one

To spawn that is fantastic so wait hold on you’re telling me I went all the way to two different Villages really far away to get bread so I can no no no no no no don’t don’t don’t don’t you go back down there all right little buddy

You need to get up in there and and we’ll fence this off all right well I got my happy little family in here that’s perfect all right it is now night time we should be able to get a zombie into the trapo down there and uh we we should

Be able to start getting our stuff or our Iron Golems to spawn now that we have three it should work hopefully all right come on zombie I need my iron golems to start spawning oh come on get in here thank you I don’t think they’re scared because um there’s fencing there they

They know that the zombie can’t get them that’s what the trap doors is there for but we will have to wait for that little uh villager baby to grow up that way he can’t slip under and ruin the uh process all right guys that is going to wrap up

Happens we did get our chickens and we did get our pigs into the animal stable so that is all set up and ready to go so now the next thing to do is uh the rest of the notice board to-do list items so we will do that we will knock out
