Hello and welcome my name is mr. Cooby in this video we’re going to build a compact medieval house if we take a quick look at it here it may look a little tricky for some to build but believe me it’s pretty simple especially when broken down into some easy steps Which I’ve done just for you so let’s jump right into it first up we want to begin by making a one block deep trench in the ground three blocks wide and seven blocks in length this will be where our flooring will go I’ve chosen brick At the front we want to make a tiny one block walkway for our door I’ll place down the door to clearly show where the front of the house will be next we’re going to place down some cobblestone at these locations around the flooring we’re going to do the same with oak wood At these locations then we’re going to play some oak wood stairs facing outward in between our cobblestone now we’re going to place three oak wood above each piece of oak wood we’ve already placed don’t place any on the outside piece of wood here same goes for the other side As well as we want to keep this design symmetrical you place two blocks of oak wood planks on top of each block of cobblestone then with awkward stairs place them upside down in between the top row of the oak wood planks we’ve just placed above our front door just place two oak Wood planks like so over at the back place only one above the upside down stairs back over at the door with our stairs we’re going to place three stairs above the door with two out of stair blocks facing inwards like shown now place four blocks of Oakwood at these two locations here Do the same for the back of the house as well then at the back here we’re going to place our first glass pane with an Oakwood stair above and below it make sure the one on top is upside down do the same for the front of the house as well With our glass panes fill in each of these gaps in the wall to create our windows using cobblestone walls create two vertical supports on each of these outer oak wood blocks we’ve left you that’s the front-of-the-house place down to cobblestone walls here with two spruce wood fences on top then with Spruce wood stairs place them down at these locations up against our oak wood now it’s time to start on the roof of our house fill in these empty spaces with spruce wood planks continue to follow along with these additional placements of spruce wood planks once again do the same for the other side You with Oakwood place just one on top of the upside down stair here then do the same for the other side of the house again with spruce wood planks begin making a row across to the other side next to the oak wood we’ve displaced finish up with one more row on top Begin making a line of spruce wood stairs across the outside of the house starting at this location up here make another row of spruce wood stairs and one more time going across the top here do exactly the same on the other side of the house ensuring each side is perfectly symmetrical with stone Slabs and stairs we’re going to do a little design at each corner like so this can get a bit tricky with the positioning of the stairs so watch closely again with stone stairs watch closely where I place them next to each spruce wood stair on the roof The top place one here upside down repeats those placements exactly the same at the back of the house follow along with these upside-down placements of more stone stairs do the same for the back of the house we’re going to connect the gaps of stone stairs with stone bricks We’re going to do this at the front as well at the very top of our roof starting here place four stone bricks in a row followed by three stone slabs finishing off with another row of four stone bricks at the top here watch very carefully where I place these stone stairs and slabs You congratulations that is the outside of our house complete in order to make the most out of our space inside the house we’re going to add a second story in this far right-hand corner here make a four block high ladder with a wooden trapdoor directly on top then place down five Spruce wood planks to comfortably surround this upper corner I’m then going to place down two oak wood fences next to the trap door feel free to do the same to complete the second story starts by following along with these upside-down spruce wood stair placements between them on the upper Oh place in Some spruce wood slaps up on the second level place one upside down spruce wood stare at these two points on the ceiling and now the inside of your house is complete as well and you are now ready to enjoy your new little medieval house of course all it Needs is your personal touch to make yourself feel right at home thank you very much for watching and I also thank one of my team members choc dude for the core design of this beautiful little abode during the making of this video many houses were built so If you’re keen to have some more tutorials for another one please let me know in the comments and they’ll try to cook up another tutorial for you well that’s it for this video I’ll hopefully see you soon on the next one uh yeah good bye Oh Video Information
