Welcome to the mischief I’m Belen and this is angel of vengeance a mod brought to you by Tama eyes so the angel of vengeance mod is a role-playing adventure action II style I guess it allows you to create classes of characters and therefore follow along the progression of which and unlock

Be very useful at all it all depends on how you want to play it really but let’s get into how to get into this and then I’ll go over each of the different classes that there are this is an angelic statue in order to create it

Gain access to this little UI interface which is very interesting this actually will tell you the different classes now right here you’re looking at the caster class and it may not point that out exactly upon first look but if you continue looking then you’ve got a healer class which also does have some

Offensive benefits specifically against Undead then you have your defender class which is primarily all about tanking defending and things of that nature and then you have the brand new class the astrological ass which might be abbreviated as the Astro class but each one has their own pluses and minuses and

You only will have ever 15 total skill points to basically use and in order to choose a class let’s say that I begin with the caster class I then click down here you see it turned green I can no longer therefore go into any of the classes now this is not entirely

Permanent but if you want to reset it just know that all you need to do is go down here to your reset button and it says here there’s a full reset where you take back all skills and you are choosing a whole new class you don’t get

Any new skill points to put in the other ones beyond the very first one that you put in a minor reset will allow you to reclaim all of the skill points that you’ve already unlocked in your existing class and then you can reassign them as you’d like therefore explore other alternatives see

What kind of bill do you prefer yes that’s right I set a build some of these are very good with you know working with other skills and abilities that you have created now in this case I’m gonna choose full reset and we’re gonna go back and I’m actually going to start off

With the core class or the class core healer skill if you look down your class core offensive caster and as I said before the defender and of course the Astro or estriol odeon and we’re gonna start with the healer if only because this is more for a group mechanic style

Plate though you can easily play single player in any of these scenarios so you choose your first skill and then you go to your spell book and you see here you’ll have a list of all your new spells or abilities that you can actually add to your spell bar and in

This case cure light wounds say here it says charges 10 range 2.0 base healing for which means that the range it’s only going to go about two blocks distance so it’s not going to be too effective on others unless they’re close by but you can also use it on

Yourself and other entities including bad guys and as it says here heals yourself or an entity if your crosshair is over the entity so it will actually take priority of the entity over you in this case I’m just gonna click it it adds it to my spell bar and then I’m

Going to go back and then of course I can always check my statistics if I have other things unlocked it will tell you your experience to the next level your level it currently is your extra charges which I unlocked very first level spell power witching increase if you increase your spell

Power this will basically do more damage or more healing or just more effect what more in most cases dodge percentage this will increase your ability to just completely not take damage from an attack double strike it’s pretty self-explanatory as well your percentage chance ability to do double damage or

Double butt hits in this case so if you look on my hotbar on the bottom there I’m currently in creative which I’m going to remain in in this at the moment but if I press my hotkey which if I go into my options trolls scroll down to angel of vengeance

Your default is going to be your left menu or left Alt key and then you can always change your spell slots to different spell different key bindings if you so desire but in this case I’m just going to hit alt and I’ve set it up in the config so that it’ll override my

Existing hotbar and you can see it’s changed and I now have this healing ability so if I go up to this skeleton it has two hearts and I cast heal on him he dies because it this is your you’re essentially kind of like a Dungeons &

Dragons cleric and you notice I have an arrow in my hand and it’s not on my not on my hotbar that’s because I have to hit the key again and it shows back up again with the character that you have chosen in this case I’ve chosen the

Cleric class is at least that’s what I’m going to refer to it as you can also change the further convicts in this and I’m just showing you this because this is kind of a I know that you guys want to see all the different abilities that

You can do with this mod but the some of the things you can change with it are very important in this case angel of vengeance I go into the config so I can actually change a whole bunch of things I can have it so that not just by using

The skills will I level up but also from gaining experience from defeated mobs I can change it so that my charges will actually recharge over time currently it’s defaulted set to negative one so it will not actually your recharges will only recharge typically if you sleep in

A vanilla bed so that that’s something to definitely think about there you can also in this case I chose to – the spell bar over the hotbar I can undo that and render the charges above the spell bar or below it it’s defaulted to currently display the number of

Charges left on a spell or skill to drop down from below now if you drop it all the way to the bottom of the screen obviously you won’t be able to see those charges so this function is available then that render Royal Road text text this is something that is more for the

Specific class the astrological but I currently have that saying true now I find that this is very useful personally and the render spell bar over hot bar I like that because I want it to be at the bottom of the screen but if I choose another option here like reposition

Elements via UI you see that I have this big blue spot here in this big blue spot at the top here and you press E or escape to save and exit this is where your your typical bar of spells and skills is and this is where you’ve got

Your little astral ochi and special effect or your other skills effects might show up and if I hit escape it saved it and then if I hit alt you’ll see that it’s currently still overlaying it so I need to change the mod options back so I don’t want it to render over

The hot bar and then when I go back here you see it’s at the top of the screen now that big blue blob that was on the screen up here on the top right that is for the astral OGN class we will go into that later on but for now just know that

It’s there and I’m going to actually redo my settings so they’ll recover over my hot bar now I have leveled myself up to maximum level for the core class healer and therefore I can choose all sorts of different abilities now but each one is dependent upon a previous

Requirements if you see here requires that I have to be at least level 3 and I have to be a core class or a class of healer so therefore I can choose that and then that unlocks the next one which unlocks the next one and the next one

And so on and some of them if you look at the very top here the heal requires 12 points spent in the tree in total plus it requires cure critical room wounds which is here and that requires 8 spent total and this one requires 4 spent total plus the previous version so

Therefore I currently have five six seven so that’s not enough to unlock your critical wounds let’s try cure blind there we go and now I can unlock that one can unlock a few others and then I eventually can start unlocking even more abilities and so on now something that you should know is

That there are some general abilities that you’ll find on almost every class you’ll notice that there are some different things that have they share similar you know looks but they are pretty much the charges and perhaps the spell power or potency or something of that nature the charges will allow you

Extra uses of these because by default if I go to my spell book here and I start putting a bunch of these different abilities on my hotbar here I then bring it up you can see that I have these numbers 16 8 10 14 these are the number

Of uses I have before I can no longer use them unless I have currently changed things in the config in which case I would have to sleep in a bed which it would probably have to be nighttime for that to happen and then I will regain

All my charges if you spam these as soon as they are ready I use that it’s going to be usable again in another three seconds there would go in enough in an attempt to try and just gain levels it will give me less experience over time so therefore just spamming these all the

Time it’s not going to work but using them often enough that you need them is going to be useful now looking at the core class class core healer therefore you’ve got a whole lot of different abilities some of which I also had mentioned may overlap with others this

Is going to be one of them selective focus the reason I bring this one up first is because it’s something you should know before you start spamming stuff on other people and that is that you can actually target friendlies with negative effects and and fire and and

Bad things and you can target bad guys with healing and all sorts of good love that you probably don’t want to spread so if you choose this option which it is very high level up there your spell’s will no longer affect monsters if they benefit from the spell or friendly

Players slash creatures if they would be harmed by the spell so therefore if it’s intended to do damage it will not hurt friendly players if it’s intended to heal people or give a benefit or a boon a positive status effect it will no longer be bestowed to

The you know bad aggressive mobs so therefore this can be extremely useful in a party environment and each one is pretty much going to have that available as an option on their for a high level so I do recommend you you choose that if you are traveling with your friends when

Playing this it’s something that you probably should sink a skill point into but as I showed you before you see I’ve got a whole bunch of skills unlocked if I choose to reset my skills I can do a minor reset and then I can go back and I

Still have all of my skill points over here on the top left skill points 14 and I’ve spent one because I am still a healer so that’s how that really works now if I choose the rest of these skill points here let’s just unlock a whole bunch of these abilities

You’ve got everything that you’re going to want to do here so in this case I chose a route that does not actually add any extra charges and I also chose something that does not actually increase my spell power and if you look here it says like spell power plus 10

Plus 10 plus 10 plus 20 each one of those that you choose will add about 10% to its effective power so if you’re doing let’s say 10 hearts of healing and you add plus 10 spell power you would be doing 11 hearts of healing now that’s an

Extreme example but it’s just so that you can understand better what the spell power represents now if I go into the charges that just gives you an additional cast before you have to go to sleep but if you go with your core abilities they sometimes will add some

By default like this one here healer core to +10 spell power the next one here +10 spell power and plus one charge so it’s kind of a combination of both spell power and charges and you’ve got another one that does the same thing then the last one plus 50 spell power

And plus three charge so therefore it’s something that’s really really good in general and it does require maximum level and of course a healer core level 4 so you have to have gone down this tree line now if I go to my spell book you can see the different abilities of course you

Your cure spells cure light wounds cure moderate wounds serious wounds and of course cure critical wounds these are all going to be able to cure you or an ally or just an entity depending upon how you chose it and also allow you to do some damage to undead which most of

Your healing will be able to do so in this class positive energy burst heals everything around you including you and cures all harmful effects deals damage to undead as well positive energy burst is very strong it’s an area of effect so it’s just basically going to be a mass healing in

An area with a range of twenty it’s very good but it’s going to have less charges than let’s say cure light wounds which is gonna have ten uses at a very close range so those are to be used sparingly and here’s something else if I were to

Put both these on my my skill bar and I use one of them all right I used it you see it’s ready again in just a couple seconds I use this big area of effect heal it will last another like 20-30 seconds before I can actually cast it

Again so sometimes those really big spells may have a little bit of a time sink that you’re gonna have to wait for and be aware of now positive energy aura creates an aura around yourself to heal you and everything around you for a period of time let’s put that in place

And this one here and you can see it starts creating this big yellow like kind of particles around me this follows me whereas the previous one if I cast this it just was in the area that it was this one follows with me as I go and

Therefore can be much more useful has a lot more charges but it also has a much bigger recharge before it’s going to be available again then if I go back to my spell book we’ve got cure poison guess what it will allow you to cure the

Poison of you or a friend same with black your blindness cure wither these can be very useful especially if you’re going through fighting a lot of witches in an area if your or just a poison heavy area or or perhaps a dimension that has a lot of poison inducing

Enemies wither would be very useful in the nether or just fighting the wither then you’ve got cure blindness which is just going to be something useful if you have enemies that are doing that and so on invoke mass is going to be something else while active certain spells and

Abilities have double range and are cast as an area of effect so this one is an on/off button and let’s do that two plus the Cure whither shall we so cure mass if I choose that you can see I’ve turned it on it is now kind of like this teal

Color it just stays that way it doesn’t have charges it’s an on/off option and so now this will no longer cast cost just one charge it will cast two it will cost two charges in that case so therefore I have cured wither on well one of these lapis blocks here and it

Will be awhile before I can do that but it also cast it in an area of effect which can be really really good so some of these you’ll just need to understand that there’s a higher cost but also a much greater benefit so if you’re travelling in a party of like two three

Four people you could actually start spamming out a bunch of area-of-effect spills skills invoke mass while this like I said this here it says it can be cast as an area of effect and therefore you can cast your single healing whoop spells like your your regular cure light

Wounds that I had over here you can have that cast as an area of effect as well so it but these guys are all hostile to me alright so in this case I have actually created a different build I did not do any of the other single effects I

Was like you know what who cares heal big deal but I just want to increase my amount of charges and make my spells really really strong and then I took invoke Mass which also makes my spells a area of effect so if I turn that on and

Then I go over here I can start casting this on myself and other entities so therefore it can be really strong in an area obviously it would double the range which should bring it from 2 to 4 I was a little bit further away but it does

Only use you know the 1 in this case because I have special other abilities but it it’s just really good that you can customize this as you want I just went in here and reset things made it so that my very weak spell can perhaps do a

Lot of healing and therefore I don’t need to focus I’m getting myself all of these different healing spells that could we be exactly the same so enough about messing around with the core healer class let’s get into the offensive caster all right so the offensive caster

Has a lot of I don’t know low level difficulty high level overpowered Ness so you start off with your basic offensive cast your spell which which is very easy to use you just right-click and you shoot a zap of energy and it’ll shoot it goes a little bit slow I mean

It’s not as fast as say an arrow but it does have its distinct advantages if you can make it strong enough by increasing your spell power as I have here I put a lot into spell power instead of charges and by going over here you can see

Nimbus ray has a range of 20 you’ve got your searing light which is next it doubles the range and the speed so this is gonna go a lot faster damage is doubled on undead targets so allow me to therefore use my searing ray perhaps I can get close enough to this guy we’re

Gonna try and shoot him and he moved out of the way a little too fast but we might be able to get him again oh no no you can see how this is a bit finicky your your single shot targets are very slow to use but you might be able to hit

Him if you can target them fast enough and not die there we go I finally got a hit on him and he died but now I’ve got other problems now as before it’s also very important to note that it damage is doubled on undead target so therefore those

Skeletons were just being one-hit shot but as you saw it was a little difficult to try and aim at them so that’s why I was saying early levels it’s very difficult because your Nimbus ray and your searing light are both your early level stuff as well as flame strike now

Flame strike is actually somewhat impressive here but it is limited in its uses for instance let me spawn in a zombie over here there we go and I will use flame strike on him legs right boom but but you see he’s he was protected by

That reason being is that it has to have a clear space to the sky or at least the and distance above him needs to be open for that to happen so you see there he’s got to have like about 10 to 20 blocks above him needs to be exposed because

This is actually underneath let me stand over here this oh no I thought it was underneath there I guess it’s not so if I cast it over here underneath this area there we go so you see it does need to be like about 10 or 20 blocks space

Above the character for you to be able to shoot them but then you can actually hit them set them on fire it will actually kill enemies and drop cooked versions of their stuff so it can be really cool then you get into some really really really strong stuff with

Your blade barrier which can be excellent cast this and it will just launch out a whole slew of these swords that just kind of spin around doing massive amounts of damage and I mean it’ll pretty much just take out most things very easily in an area you can

See they have to actually walk through the area if I run into it I’m safe but the the enemies are not so therefore it’s just kind of like this little safety zone and it will stay up for a very long time this can be really strong

If you’re trying to clear a room and you’ve got a massive area of dudes coming at you it’s really good and then you get into you’re pretty much one-shot kill stuff you’ve got slay living destroys a living target does not affect undead or bosses so this is your your

Answer to those that are not undead and are running around like spiders for example or creepers target has more than four health though they have a chance to take half damage for more health the more health they have the better the chance that they’re going to take half

Damage and then you’ve got destruction which is very similar to this as well outright destroys a target and it works on undead but not on bosses so you can’t just one-shot bosses with this but if the target has more than eight health they have a chance to take half damage

So let’s run over here and we’ll use our slay living on this guy here nothing happened but if I use my other ability the destruction he pretty much has just killed out right now if I bring back something else in my inventory there we go we’ve got some some chickens I’ll put

Down a chicken here and I just slay living there we go just just right click and he’s pretty much dead so it’s it’s really really interesting and good you just have to be able to choose the ones that you need to use for the certain situation then

You’ve got an implosion this is also about as strong as blade barrier but not as long-lasting now it it’s got a very short range but targets around you begin to implode after a short time so if they have more than 14 health which is 7 hearts and they have a chance to take

Half damage as well and it’s just really interesting we’ll bring out a bunch of chickens we’ll bring out some zombies as well and then I will cast this and you will see the crazy effects on these guys and they all start taking some serious damage and

Dying I mean it it’s it’s really cool just a lot of the fun you can have with this mod is is good then you’ve got of course leap of faith you’re able to leap through the air to bring the fight to your enemies or traverse chasms it’s

Really just kind of like if you’re familiar with tinkers construct or astral sorceries vortex wand or grappling things it just kind of launches you in a direction and it launches you further if you’re running that way so I’m gonna try running and yeah I also got kind of a slowing

Feather fall therefore at the end which is really cool so therefore you can just get this kind of like a launch off of something or a boost you can shoot up into the air a little bit but it’s really good for just kind of launching about 5 to 10 blocks in the air
