Minecraft SIMPLEST Raid Farm | Super EASY!
This video tutorial explains everything you need to know about raid farms and how to make the easiest and simplest raid farm that will give you all the emeralds and totems you need! Stick around to learn how to create this efficient raid farm and maximize your loot.
Getting Started
To start the raid farm, you need the bad Omen effect which can be achieved by killing a pillager with a banner at the pillager outpost. By killing a second pillager with a banner, you’ll get level 2 bad Omen effect which adds another raid wave, giving you slightly more items.
It’ll be easier if there is a village near the pillager outpost, but don’t worry if there isn’t, as the tutorial will explain ways to transport the villager to the farm.
Setting Up the Farm
Find or create a mostly flat area that’s at least 150 blocks away from the pillager outpost and a village. Turn your render distance down to 5 to see where the raids can spawn around the farm. Look for nearby caves, holes, and lakes, then either make stairs or cover them so that the raiders don’t get stuck.
There are 4 things you’ll want to find at a village: a jobless villager, a composter, a bed, and a bell. These will all be used for the farm. You can either use boats, workstations, beds, or even nether portals to transport the villager to the farm.
Building the Farm
These are the materials you’ll need for the farm, the dirt blocks are temporary blocks, the cobblestone can be any other block, and the ladders are optional.
Follow the step-by-step instructions to build the raid farm, including creating a trapdoor, placing a composter, setting up a kill chamber, and luring the raiders back to the villager.
Starting the Raid Farm
To start the raid farm, kill 1 or 2 pillagers with a banner at the pillager outpost and when you come back to the farm, you should see a raid bar at the top. Go to the kill chamber and start killing the raiders that fall into the hole until the raid is complete.
If it’s been a few minutes and the raiders stop falling into the hole, right-click the bell and look up to see where the raiders are. Go to the surface if it’s safe and check where the raiders are stuck, try to lure them back to the villager and then make stairs or cover where they were stuck.
If you want to continue getting experience and items, you’ll need to go back to the pillager outpost and repeat the process.
