Hi guys it’s me ryan l i’m back again with another video as many of you still know mine is still down for its updates whatever the heck lexi is breaking she’s still breaking it but anyway i’ve been meaning to make a video on my new exp farm design that i’ve came up with And honestly it works better to do it offline because it’s easier to show show where things are at and all so that’s what i decided to do i built a copy of it offline and that’s what i’m going to be showing you so i have an older newsfeed farm design I’ll put the link down in the comments that one works fine if you’re working with like around 40 or less bonners maybe a stack of spawners but i i came in i came in um the i came into um like two stacks of spawners and i realized they weren’t going to fit In that size yeah farm so i have designed a new asp farm and also has a couple other new additions that you might be able to add on to my old style in the last video if you just want a simple small one but yeah so i’ll link down the Description to my old one if you want to have a look at that but even if you still just want a simple small one still look at still still watching this video because i have a couple new additions to it that you can add onto that style also that will help Make it better so this is it i’ll step back and show you it so now we’re going to go through all the dimensions and how to make it and why i did different things so first you have of course the little area down here where you hit things Um i’ve realized you need the slabs here and the trapdoors here and that way blazes and spiders can’t shoot at you most people’s spawners designs i get annoyed at using because the blazes can hit you it’s annoying as heck so but anyway and then also if you’re dealing with like A whole lot of spawners up there you’re gonna be dropping a whole lot of materials so i realized with one chest it was getting backed up a lot the hoppers were getting backed up and i was losing items so what i did is i created a two chest system down here Um do not have the two hoppers on the chest pointing directly down into it because then you’ll get backed up because there’s only one hopper going out of the chest so how that works is two items will be going into the chest at each tick and only one item is going out So eventually this top chest is going to flat fill up these hoppers will fill up and then you’re losing items again so so i have this i have a resource pack that puts arrows in the size of hoppers it’s pretty cool it’s vanilla tweaks it’s pretty easy to find you can make Your own resource pack it’s a pretty cool resource pack i’ll put a link to that too in the description because i love that resource pack it has some cool handy redstone stuff so you want one hopper pointing into one and then the other one pointing down And then the same thing on the other side and then generally what i do is i’ll make another room beneath the spawner room and that’ll be more more chests for the hoppers to go into so if you do it like this this design then you can get one whole chest per Y level and it saves face i know a lot of people will put like a chest and then a hopper and then chest on each y level like that but you lose a lot of space doing it like that if you do it like this it’s more compact So i do that on each side and i guess if you’re super red sony you can figure out a sorting system i’ve yet to do that i’ll probably eventually figuring out how to figure out a sorting system but yeah and then something else i added to is an auto kill option Because like um one of my hp farms i built has the stack of skelly spawners in it well bones and arrows are helpful to have a whole lot of but it’s tedious to stand here by hand killing them but sometimes i want to buy and kill them for the exp So i made an option to turn the auto kill on so if you press that button it turns it on by spitting out the lava so now anything that falls through it’s going to pretty much instantly die on its own and i can turn it back off by pressing the button again So how you do that is you have a couple of dispensers here pointed into your channel and you have the signs down there to keep it from flooding down oh by the way i’ve built this out of glass so that you can see through easily But normally you do not want to build a exp fair amount of glass because light levels will affect how effective your spotters are so you norm if you’re actually building out in the open like this and not underground storms you want to wall it in with a solid block you don’t Want to build it out of glass it’s not going to work as well as if it was as if you’re a block out the sunlight so how to do this is you just want two repeaters pointed into the back of those dispensers and then you want some redstone that’s Another thing in the vanilla twix you have you can have it show the strength of the redstone why little numbers like right now you see it’s zero it’s kind of cool and then you can have the redstone coming down here and then pop your button there Or wherever else you want to put your button i just put it there because it’s cooler so anyway that’s pretty cool so normally this whole thing here will be hidden behind your wall you’ll like have a wall here hiding all that however you want to do it So yeah that’s pretty cool so now we’ll get up into the actual spawner design itself um here we are we are now in the actual spawner so you have your 2×2 hole here and then you wanna go out one two three four five six seven from that on each side you wanna You want a hole or in this case the building that’s that the wall is seven blocks away from that hole there and then you want to go up five from this four here you want to go up five because you need to be five high that’s just how it works and then you Wanna do these little like angular things on the sides these are one two three four five out from the corners five out from the corners and there should be a space of four between them so go five out is this five one i was stupid and then do these different colors One two three four five six sticks out i’m glad i checked that and now i messed up my water six out from the corners and you should have a four gap between and then all the water flows nicely together like this so and then you want your water source to be Two blocks up from the secondary triangular thing i guess i’ll call it and you want it back on the corner block like this kind of like how i have it here and you don’t want to put the water in until after you’ve placed all these spawners otherwise placing spawners as hell Generally how i do it is i’ll cover this floor in a whole heap of torches because like i said light will negate spawners from spawning as well no it doesn’t affect blazes as much but like your skellies and zombies it’ll it’ll affect quite a bit and it’ll Help you get them all placed before things start spawning and why i put all the torches on the floors because then i don’t have to pick them up by hand i just place all my water and the torches will wash down into this hole by themselves so that’s pretty cool so Yeah i think that’s everything i hope you enjoyed this tutorial if you have any more questions let me know down in the description and i’ll see you all around bye Video Information
