Hello everyone only Draven here again and today we’re doing another tutorial in Minecraft sky factory for today we’re doing an introduction to the tinkers construct mod how to use the different components involved with it how to make and use the different types of weapon And armor you can make out of it as well as how to upgrade them and add different advancements if you find this video helpful and you like it please be sure to click like most importantly please remember to hit that subscribe button that way you can see all my videos and Tutorials as they come out ok so there’s a lot of different things involved in the tinkers construct mod if you’ve ever worked with a smeltery or melter that’s a prime important part of it if you’re not sure how to build or use a smeltery I do have several different tutorials on My channel showing how to build those as well as how to automate one but you will need to use that or a melter so starting off you’re going to need some blank patterns and you’re gonna need a whole bunch of those they’re really easy to make it’s just two wooden planks and two Sticks so you get yourself a whole bunch of those built up now there are multiple different workstations and such that you’re going to use as part of the ticklers construct and you’re gonna want to make all the first one is a crafting station which is really easy you just Put a crafting table in a crafting table and that’ll turn into a crafting station the next one is a part builder and that is just one oak wood and a blank pattern next is a stencil table which is one oak plank and a blank pattern is a tool station Which is one crafting table in a blank pattern one armored station which is a crafting table with four blank patterns a pattern chest which is one chest in a blank pattern and then one part chest which is a chest blank pattern oak plank and two sticks all right so I’ve gone Ahead and I’ve already put all of those components right here side by side now the most important thing to remember with all these components is you want to have them touching and the reason for that is is when you right-click on any of them across the top you have the Ability to bounce between each of those workstations so you don’t have to keep exiting out and moving to a different station so they all become interactive as long as they’re all connected let’s show how each one works so the first one is a crafting station and that is for All intents and purposes just a regular crafting table next is a stencil table what a stencil table is for is how you make the different stencils which is the first step in creating any type of an item so in a stencil table you’ll put a Blink pattern you can put up to a stack of sixty-four of them and then you choose which stencil you want to make there when you click on you’ll then be able to pull it off and you’ll have a stencil of that type the next thing is a part builder now a Part builder you’re gonna put the stencil that you just made and an item I recommend using cobblestone is a basic and that’s gonna make whatever that stenciled item was it does not use up the stencil so you can use the stencil multiple times if you should need to Good thing about this components if you leave cobblestone in there it will stay in the table it doesn’t fall out of the inventory or go back into your inventory when you’ve exited out next is a tool station and the tool station is how you build the different types of weapons and Tools click on the one that you’re wanting to make say for example a pickaxe it’ll tell you which components you need so for pickaxe you need a tool rod a pickaxe head and a binding or a broadsword a tool rod a sword blade and a wide garden you place those three Items once they’re made in here that’ll give you your item the armor station works the same way except over here you choose which piece of armor you want to make whether a helmet chest plate leggings or boots and will tell you the components you need to make it placing Those components in here will make the desired piece of armor now for the tool station and the armored station there are upgraded versions of those so if we go in here and we just put in tool it’s over here you’ll see in the tool station there’s also a tool for JH and There are two levels of to forge a block of iron one and a block of cobalt now a more advanced version of the tool station using one of the two forges will give you additional items that you can make so for a tool forge iron it is Three three so III seared blocks a regular tool station and four iron blocks and for a cobalt version it’s three seared bricks a tool station and four block of cobalt as soon as you can make the cobalt version I recommend doing so that way you can get unlock all The different types of gear you can make with that an armor does the same thing you can make an upgraded version of that as well to unlock additional staff so just to show you what those look like here see there’s an armored Forge and there’s a tool Forge and they’re blue so Got the cobalt ones and the iron one sort of a grayish color all right so let’s kind of use some of these in action so let’s decide we’re gonna make ourselves an item we’re gonna go over to our C we’ll go to the tool station and we’re gonna make a weapon we’re gonna Make a broadsword okay so for a broadsword I need a tool rod a sword blade and a wide guard so I need to go to my stencils stencil table and I need those three items so one of them was a sword blade but one of them was let’s go back I already forgotten tool station let me see wide guard and tool rod okay so there’s our tool rod and there is our wide guard so now that we have those three patterns we’re gonna go to our tool builder part builder and we’re going to take that stencil set it in Here because I’ve already got the cobblestone I now have a stone sword blade and do that with each of the stencils that I need so that I have all three components I’m done with these stencils so I can go to my pattern chest I can Put those in there to be taken out later should I need them so now I’m gonna have those three items I want to use either a smeltery or a melter to make an actual let’s go back to it here show you this to make an actual cast of the item that I want to make so you can see that here’s a cast for all of the different stencils that we were looking at you can make these in clay or you can make them in gold if you make them in clay the cast will be destroyed when you make Whatever item it is you’re making if you make it out of gold it is reusable so I do recommend making amount of gold as soon as possible so I’ve already gone ahead and I have melted some gold in my melter so now I’ve placed my item in There right click on that it’s gonna pour gold over top of that stone blade and then once it is done I right click on that and now I have a sword blade cast I’m going to repeat that with all three of the different items that I made So that way I can make my broadsword too and as you can see it’s filling up and once it’s full you’ll see the percentage up there at the top when they it’s on a percent that’s when it’s done and there we go I have the three casts that I need so Now I need to go ahead and need to make those items out of some type of material now I’m gonna be using iron there are a lot of different materials that can be used you look here at the different blades different ones and different rods and such have different abilities so I’m Just scrolling over this one which is a cobalt tough rod I hit on that it shows me that it gives you the ability of light weight our tight one has the ability of petrol more so there’s different abilities based on the items that you make I’m just going to use iron For simple simplicity now an important thing I want to show you here real quick is down here in my toolbar you’ll see I have a book called materials in you and materials in you armory addendum you can make these books in the jei for materials in you it’s Just a book and a blink pattern and for materials in you armory it’s one of the first books and a blank pattern now these are really going to be helpful because if you right-click on the book it’s going to open up the book itself and give you a lot of different Information on the thing itself how to make a smeltery for example how to make the different tools and such and it’s going to show you a lot of the different types of items and the requirements involved with making them so there’s the different weapons armors so on now if You’re looking here and say I went to just bone for example say I wanted to make these a bone I go to a bone broadsword I hit shift you’ll see that on the left there it says that it has fracturing and splintering and has experience and it tells me the attack Damage in the attack speed that that has different weapons will have different attack speeds different attack damage and so on so those are really important to be able to figure out what type of gear you want to make but we’re gonna be using iron for this one let’s go ahead And pour iron into our cast do that with all three of our casts here say it’s hundred percent let out replace it with the next cast now do our next cast and I like the gold cast because there are reusable so if I want to make these in the future I can Do that I’ll just toss them in a chest and they’ll be there for future use so now going to come back into our tables and again we’re gonna go to our tool station we were making a broadsword so now I just take these three items and I Put them in here and I will have myself an iron broadsword now if you want you can choose up here and you can name it let’s call this one Draven sword we’ll pull that down into our inventory and now we have a sword named Draven sword Now as you can see it says experience zero of 500 and the ability magnetic because it’s iron that’s the skill that it comes with now an important part of tinker’s weapons and gear is that they can be leveled up as I do combat with my sword the experience is going to go up To 500 the level will go from clumsy and higher which makes me better with it I do more damage so on and so forth so let’s show that in action here real quick so I’m gonna go ahead and grab ourselves some skeleton seeds see just regular skeleton seeds work on skeleton horse I don’t do with her shame check will do zombie zoo zombie seeds so grab some zombie seeds and then we’ll grab some bone meal all right so I’ve made a little area over here where it is dark drop ourselves a zombie seed we’ll Garcelle so zombie I’m gonna go ahead And use my sword now I’m in creative so of course it’s not fighting back once I’ve killed it scroll my sword you’ll see that now I have 20 of 500 so I want to get it up to level 500 so I’m gonna kind of quite a few zombies Here and I will fast forward real quick till we get to that point all right and we’re back I’ve smacked around a few zombies so now as you can see my experience is 480 of 500 so I’m gonna go ahead and grow myself a last zombie here go ahead and kill him there We go you see that says you begin to feel comfortable handling the Draven’s sword when we scroll over it will see that I’m now my level has gone from clumsy to comfortable and now I’m at 0 of 1000 experience so my skill has gone up with The weapon itself as well as my comfort ability with it so that’s kind of the basics of that now armor works the same way you’re taking damage your armor will level up so if you’re making an armor piece you can use it that way so now that I have this Leveled up here one thing we can do is of course looking to repair the items if your item gets ripped gets damaged as durability can go down on different items all you have to do is go to the tool station put it in the center and Then put whatever type of items so I have an iron sword so I put a block a piece of iron here iron ingot and it’s gonna repair the durability on my sword I mean creative so I’m not having that issue but in a normal world that would Be wearing down in my armors and weapons so very easy to repair those using the same type of material if you’re repairing armor you just want to use whatever P whatever core piece that you’ve used so like say for example I used an iron chest core then I would use Iron to repair it regardless of what I what type of material I used to make the other component so now that we have that here and we’ve gone we’ve leveled it up a little bit maybe I want to add a new ability to my sword and you can do that with different Items so again if we go into materials in you book and we go into modifiers we’ll see that there are different abilities here haste luck sharp dime and so on and so forth some of these are only going to be for weapons some of them are only going to Be for tools but we’ll some work on both so let’s just say this first one here is haste so if we add redstone to a tool it will increase its speed so if I put it on here my mining speed would increase if it was on say ax or a pickaxe and Increases the attack speed if it is a weapon so we’re gonna go ahead we’re gonna put haste on just use an example if there are multiple you can scroll through and see which ones you’d like some are not compatible with other boost so you have to know which one you’re Doing let’s go ahead and we’ll grab ourselves some redstone let me go in there so I’m gonna take redstone I’m gonna drop it right here now as you can see it now says I’m gonna have a bonus of 20% speed so I paste 50/50 it’s also Changed the look of my sword a little bit see it’s gonna put a little kind of red on there which is kind of cool it’ll customize your weapon and make it look a little cooler based on you know what what modifiers you’re using but now I’ll Take that set it in there and I’ve got the advancement better with mods which is to use a modification on a weapon so now I have a weapon that is faster still has the original magnetic on it and now I can go ahead smack with my new weapon And go ahead and start leveling it up again so there’s a lot of different customization and items you can do with your weapons and armor again when you get the more advanced tables there’s everything from crossbows to bigger two-handed swords a lot of different weapons you can use so I definitely Recommend checking in to all of them this was meant to be more of just a basics to get you started I will do a little bit more advanced tutorial here in the near future showing how to make some of the unbreakable items and the more advanced advancements involved with Tinkers construct in order to show you how to get all of those but I just want to kind of give you an introduction today so you can get in there start making some of the weapons and items and and kind of get in and play with them And see how they work a lot of really interesting combinations using different materials based on how you put them together so if you come up with a really cool pattern or idea something that you think other people would be interested in please throw those down in the comments we’ll share those they’re great Patterns and combos you’ve designed as well as if you have any recommendations or suggestions for other tutorials that you’d like to see in sky factory for please throw those down there as well that way I can try to put those together for you in the near future but that’s Gonna do us for today thank you very much for watching have a great day Video
