ULTIMATE SURVIVAL FAILS in the Nearlands!

Places in Minecraft if you’ve watched my video about the near lands you’ll know exactly where I am and why that is so bad uh but if you haven’t then basically I’ve gone very very far out onto specifically only one coordinate so that my world is very broken on one axis only

For some reason when you go this far out on the seed everything if you want to find anything just go to the coordinates on the seed everything my let’s play seed um then things get nly broken by the mountains Gung missing but those mountains seem to develop into weird

Things like this for whatever reason and yeah so today we’re going to be going into precisely that it’ll be a lot of fun too I assume so first things first yeah like I said I can move left and right fully or along the x- axis fully

Uh and freely but I have issues moving along the Zed because we are 3.64 million blocks away from Spawn and we’re notably quite close to an exposed uh ancient city as well if I’m not mistaken just over there there is an exposed Pillager Outpost floating in the lava

Ravine and so the challenge is from all the way here at 250 can I get myself down there can I survive and uh what progress do we make on beating Minecraft in a world like this I don’t know the answers to any of those questions I

Thinkig it’d be fun to find out with all of you by the way it’s streamless right now the second day of streamless it’s a 12 days of streamless thing but there’s 24 days so every other day if you haven’t heard um if you if you like catching your streams this is a good

Can’t can out the water so what we have to do is uh be a bit tactical about this and think about how we can Okay so going to crouch place a block there then Crouch place a block here and when I’m walking I can move but I can’t do it

While swimming useful to know wouldn’t have guessed but still very useful to know and now we’re going to mine the blocks around the iron use those for our stone pickaxe and go straight up to the iron tip see I am I am thinking smart right now because that that is a

Pillager Outpost it’s a scary structure to try and take on uh in the best of times but in the worst of times it’s extra scary also where did the third piece of cobblestone go I I really don’t know also so yeah let’s uh break this I

Guess in we go straight to the stone pick uh we get to do a tech Rush even in the near lands today which is fun to say um sounds like someone who was pretending to press sounds like someone who was pretending to press forwards would say you know it’s true if I was

Pretending I was in the near lands right now I would be saying that too that’s the interesting thing about um it’s this concept of like it’s really hard to disprove a negative or it’s rather it’s hard to prove a negative it’s easy for me to prove that I do have a cat it’s

Really hard for me to prove I don’t have a cat like right now do you want to see my not cat I can show you but I mean if I didn’t if I did have a cat I could also say that right as long as he’s not

Around right now if I show you a cat you can be relatively sure at the very least I have access to a cat but anyone can just say they don’t have a cat and so uh yeah long story short you know I’ve been tricked before um I’m just kidding I I I

That I can reliably torch my way around it’s going to be dark down there like in the deep dark famously there’s one thing about it um deferred Runing is incredible and it works on Xbox but they refuse to add the abilities download packs for it yeah I okay um do you want

To know you want to know no I like I want to talk about Minecraft and the their viewing of the console versions of the game as a Cash Cow of like haha they cannot download things and oh only one solution to that is it happens to involve us getting money oh no how

Tragic like I it’s um it’s the problem with a big Corporation right is like if there’s any oh well no more furnace for me goodbye wow I could see that go surprisingly far down so I guess the shovel is The Logical last thing to go for right now um it doesn’t feel right

To go for a shovel but we’ll go for one anyway just a up my eyeon count and now I need to get down into some body of water ideally uh and I need to do so okay that’s a body of water right there I get down here I walk across this ocean

And then I get to the Pillager Outpost and I can do my first cuz I want to do as many structures in this weird part of the world as I can and so that seems like a good first guess uh a good first Port of cool um I don’t know for sure

That that’s water down there but we’re just going to have to trust that it is oh there’s so much more Co look look how coaly this wo is oh no okay the water is very deep down and once you’re in the water we’re Trapped In The Water by the

Way um oh okay so once we’re swimming on the surface of water we can move just like that but that’s it feels unnatural but it’s okay it all feels unnatural now we need to work our way up these caves again easier said than done but we’re

Still going to do it and we’re also going to make sure we get a water for my bucket because I if I’m not moving around reliably I I should be cautious imagine being chased by the warden with the Jitter yeah that is um it’s a thing

That came up in the video but it’s my big fear then I’m hoping I can do my best to work around I’m hoping the warden doesn’t move fast enough to get past the Jitter uh and then that might oh no that might work out in my favor so

Yeah falling is a lot more scary uh I mean it should be scary all the time to be fair but it’s extra scary right now okay I I also I’m trapped in this water Bol again um yeah I’m trapped in this water I just have to flow take it all

Out in my favorite at this point um there we go let’s just move past them uh but try to move all the way past them cuz otherwise they’re going to okay okay we got them so that’s a creeper that creeper can get me that creeper is about

To get me oh no okay creepers no okay so this is the weirdest fight I’ve ever had with Mobs spiders can move towards you so they’re extra terrifying cuz they move fast enough to get over the Jitter barrier but that creeper he sees me but

He can’t get to me right so oh no he can he can okay so he does it very slowly he has to be walking directly at me and then he can do it so as long as I’m at an angle to him he’ll never be able

To pull it off I hope I really hope oh no okay I should not be testing this while hanging above a big big Abyss so um yeah this is right here my first structure I want to take down it is a Pillager Outpost you can see the Pillager manners through the thing here

Um and uh yeah I’m going to see what I can do uh coule mountains in Colorado I’m going to Colorado to ski actually at some point I hope I it’s my I like American versions of skiing cuz it’s not like ah yes we challenge ourselves and

We believe that the closer you go to death the more fun you are having you’ll see uh that’s my Austrian accent I hope it didn’t sound Indian um where America is just like you know it’s just fun to go down the fast thing isn’t it or maybe

It’s like a fear of like uh reprisal if it’s like yeah we if we let this be too challenging or too too dangerous um then you know people will sue us you know America’s that’s that’s one thing America is famous for um oh gosh it’s so terrif okay let’s just go

Down but then what’s our strategy from there we have to mine a bunch of blocks oh but I’m trapped okay so we have to mine a bunch of blocks cuz otherwise I’m not going to make it that Pillager Outpost if I try to just jump right now

I’m not going to get the distance I’m going to die it’s going to be terrible so I have to make a big jump with a bunch of blocks i’ use a h maybe some snow I’ve got to probably stop doing this cuz this is definitely harming my

Ability to survive uh and instead there we go I can get out I can get out I can do it anytime I want to I can get out this water no I can’t I have to okay so we’re going to go further in then we’re going to replace this with that and we

Going to start placing blocks this way and eventually uh the water will stop getting me so we’ll place blocks there and there okay I I am trapped in by this water right here and I do not see a way out okay so we just got to place a block

Up there and we’ll solve that problem yes once the water is gone gone my problems are gone seven more blocks H how is the water curving around like that what sense does this make Minecraft it’s floating from there through an okay but I’m over it it’s fine okay you know

It’s not my problem anymore I’ve stopped I’ve stopped minding okay so there we go now the water is gone and we just have to place enough blocks to get close to this structure uh very dangerous to do but we’re going to do it and then we’re just

Going to have to jump after that I guess and then try and do a water bucket land we will die if we mess that up though so maybe instead we mine a few more blocks of cobblestone uh not those ones there we’ve learned learned our lesson on that

I think we’ll mine the blocks of cobblestone over here oh no we won’t okay yeah we will and we’ll just place a few more blocks just a few more and see if that solves our problem this is this is a fun challenge to have but also it

Is a challenge I would like to like to reference that you’re not used to moving around this much control delay so now we go most of the way down in this waterfall and then we’re going to we’re going to scoop up the water and then

Last second jump out onto the top of the Outpost can that work oh yes it can oh very barely but it worked then we’re going to get a bunch of snowballs cuz I bet those those will be useful later they always are uh and then we’re going

To break in from the top and we’re just going to pour water in there and try and knock the pillagers out this is a valid strategy trust me so if there’s water in there now everything’s just going to be get moved and no one will be paying

Attention to me I hope okay now that’s a Pillager and I think he’s paying attention to me oh no okay okay so I’m I’m dying right now I’m dying I need to get out of this okay thank you you knocked me out so uh I don’t have any

Food and that is a problem I’m realizing because I am injured and my water is just frozen into ice I believe yeah that that is an ice block but because it’s an ice block if I break it it becomes nothing so I have to make this work okay

So we’ll place a torch there um um I uh broke it out of there I need to right desperately uh perfect strategy you know my strategy has issues I’m willing to admit one of them is the actually the water is keeping me safe from that Pillager so

Now we have to do is oh it’s snowing that’s good actually I want the extra snowballs I can use them to do things probably um so I’ve got a strategy here I just don’t know what it is I I could get I can make myself a furnace if I get

Some C Stone I could make some iron armor and then I could just tank the damage or I can jump down I can go beat another structure first I see there’s a m shaft there um and we go to oh God he’s he’s looking at me from out here um

We go we go take down the other structure we get some glowberries and yeah cuz otherwise otherwise this looks like certain death to me uh I could probably get to the okay so if I if I mine above the pillar right here is this where the pillar is we’ll find out

Out soon enough the worst case this is a bunch of blocks by the way love to get them two dark oak planks now um so we’re going to break these blocks up here then we’re going to use those blocks as a way to get to the pillar hopefully this is

The pillar that’s not the pillar so we’re going to hide from that and place oh no don’t shoot me this has to therefore be the pillar right I think someone just got shot okay that’s the pillar right there so we just place blocks down under that we can’t get shot

Logically speaking I mean just just trying to be logical here uh or we could do we could like F5 scum um so we could take advantage of the fact that you see behind the character to like look underneath me I’m going to go a little

Bit back right now I’m going to go all the way around the edge and we going to see if we can see any sign do you see any sign of a Pillager cuz if there there are some down there it looks like there’s something down there if my

Pillager is gone my problem is solved too or I could just make a shield oh I can’t make a shield about the Cobblestone no no it’s wood it’s wood okay make a shield we we can survive this uh we can’t make oh we we we don’t

Have the iron we’ve got the wood now we don’t have the iron for it so we’re going to have to we’ll trap them in a boat maybe um yeah you know we’re we’re over it’s it’s over toat shirt is quite blue as scoop Sky cat yeah I I have no

Idea what the plan is but I don’t think we can make it work in here there are glowberries up there we can probably survive our way over there by breaking enough of these blocks getting there get some food come right back that is going to be our strategy I think cuz we need

To get off here eventually anyway right so let’s just let’s just do it early for no for no reasons other than because we really want to we’re going to use an axe sucks that it’s a a wooden axe but it’s fine we’re just going to mine all the

Blocks that we can get away with Mining and then use those to make some slabs this is great um the Fallen furnace would have come in handy right now yeah exact you know Dash if that furnace had just fallen in the right place or even better yet if it hadn’t Fallen if I

Could go so far as to say I think I’d be doing pretty well but I you know I’m I’m not going to oh God not going to dwell on the past um I’m instead going to focus on the future so that’s 24 dark oak slabs plus five snow blocks I

Probably shouldn’t have made them all into snow blocks but between these two things I think we can make a decent dent on going over there we’ll make sure they’re bottom slabs cuz if they’re not then I think bad things will happen because mobs will spawn so we now now

We’re going to do a little bit of a walk over here we’re going to pretend oh that’s scary uh going to pretend this is what we want it all along and we’re going to go to the m shaft where absolutely everything is okay oh look at

That that is just a pile of wood I thought that was a pillar look at that chat it’s just how does this happen what what happened how and why why am I mining the what what it feels like I’m playing some wildly mod in Minecraft this is De this is

Way up to the glowberries then I have one glowberries zero glowberries um I’m going to need to mine a lot more of that wood aren’t I yeah that’s that seems like a guarantee at this point so let’s go this way we’re surprised to take damage there but it’s okay um yeah

You’re actually up them and there we go so we should have to jump up here now and then go this way there is enough glowberries on that one Vine to nourish me or there’s enough glowberries over there honestly so yeah that that big patch up

There has to be my goal it’d probably be easy just to go to the top and go down at this point uh but I have oh okay yeah it’s so hard to do anything um yeah okay let’s let’s go over there and then let’s uh let’s find the ones that are closest

To the bottom those are going to be the easy easiest sources oh I can finally move along it look at this okay so as long as I’m going basically directly on I can make this work and now I’m just going to break the glow Berry Vines I

Don’t know why it’s not breaking but it’s fine oh no it’s fine I got I got it I got it then we have one glowberries I’m going to eat this immediately cuz I just need the I need that regen more than I need anything right now and then

We’re going to try and get over to any other glowry vines that are sitting this close to the surface we have to look out for drowns while we’re doing this but there’s one over there too if I can just do that again I’ll get myself to enough

Health to where I can survive to make a shield to do what I actually need to do okay that’s one more glow Berry exactly perfect and there going to be another space down here for one maybe I there was another glow Berry I just don’t know where it’s gone do you see it

Internet where where did the glow Berry go did it did it that’s fine you know I I’m I’m on half a half a hunger bar half a health bar what more do we need really you know it’s it’s pretty greedy to ask more Health when you’re already half full I think you’ll find

Um I but uh that hat hot to Stacy Sams you know I know right I was just in the I I do like a fun oh no no I do like a fun little thing like this okay so let’s now stack up this way just all the way to the top

And now we’re going to make this count with our slabs oh no we’re not okay there we go we can just a bunch of slabs in the area so we can pick up the glowberries I’m not I don’t have to worry about like breaking them or not

I’m not that bothered instead just there we go more glowberries yeah more glowberries so this will keep me nourished so I can raid the uh The Outpost so I can get a crossbow and then all my problems can go away um I don’t know what all my problems are right now

But I know they can be solved by blending someone El cuz I have been on the internet trust me um yeah okay problem solved now we get some this is we’ve got one of these same issues we can’t make it over this precipice because you can’t swim up flowing water

The flowing water lowers my speed such that I physically can’t go this way so I have to stop the water from flowing this way and then maybe I can move to WS it a bit better no if I do that will it help no I just it’s just not possible

Okay if I if I remove all of that surely surely now no I just I can’t do it it’s I’m my glowberries are just slowly dying over there and there’s nothing I can do about it there we go yes there is and in we go one more glow Berry obtained so

Yeah that was a very very temporary source of food we need to work out something much longer term like a village raid would be great I’m I know there are villagers in the area uh and besides that I think I think our survivability is going to be down to a shield and some

Gumption okay so let’s get out of this maybe or maybe let’s not okay that’s that not not works fine too just let me this way please just there we go so getting out of the water I can’t do but what I can do is I can move across it

Which is really weird to say like look at this this is the weirdest way to move through water but it works okay villagers definitely a thing around here yeah I mean it’s uh it’s my best it’s my best beted I’ve got is to imagine that

We can have caves uh vill no I’m hoping at some point later we can find something but you’re right like right now the we should be thinking about food on a before we die Level rather than like yeah and then before before we get to the nether level cuz actually wait

Down there do you think there’s any food yeah I bet those chests whoa look at that by the way that is a mine cart chest but it looks so weird okay I survived that thankfully but only barely uh I can’t get my way out of here now

I’m going to drown okay we got to peek out the edge so that is an interesting situation and I can get myself over there if I just I’ll do the same thing I’ve done before place blocks all the way around and then there we go

We’re on one now and now there we go okay place a torch don’t have a torch place the andesite place the torch on the andesite looks very fun oh my see you got I what all your problems can be solved with structures more proof I’ve got everything a person could need

Four diamonds I can make a diamond Shield right now um all I need is a furnace and I have one block short of a furnace don’t know how that became my my situation but it did um so we’re going to walk around the M shaft thank God I

Made it through and we’re going to find another chest or another piece of cobblestone it shouldn’t be too hard to find but I think it’s going to be anyway so yeah all the Torches are a bit weird we’re going to choose to ignore that and instead just try and find the easiest to

Get okay so there’s Stone there there’s deep slate there at least I can use I can go for deep slate okay so we’ll come oh look at this too it’s like it’s a 2d M shaft it’s uh it’s very very fun this is a bunch of glowberries so that’s food

Sorted I knew it would work that’s some iron and now I don’t need the Cobblestone for a furnace I do need it eventually but right now I have my problem solved and indeed I found another cave over here and this cave is oh very weird too

So I would love to explore all of this in fact I feel like this is motive but I I’m committed to going to that Pillager Outpost first and if there’s a part if if you know if anyone has taught me anything in life it’s that you’ve got to

Commit to things and even when it’s clear you should stop you just got to keep going out anyway and sometimes that works out and if it doesn’t work out you’re probably dead so it’s fine so yeah yeah the pill Dr post is floating above me right now which is not what I

Was expecting to say um we’re going to go up to the pile of wood and then Bridge from there oh we could just go up to the top of the wood actually we’re right below it conveniently enough let’s go float float float my boat gently up

The stream this is a thing I must do because I am a person I don’t know I don’t know where that rhyme’s going to go um so now we’re going to stack up here um jump out onto this then stack stack oh wait I’m going to stack that

Better you know it’s I’ve just got to place these every other block and then I can make my slabs go a lot further come on okay no I can’t can’t do it I don’t know why I can’t do it I can’t place this anywhere but it’s fine then I’m

Going to use my snow blocks I guess except I placed the slab poorly so I can’t do that either I’m just going to quickly have a torch around here somewhere just for posterity reasons and then jump jump jump jump and we’re up okay we did it so now I can go take down

This because I’ve got wood and I’ve got exactly enough wood for a shield um and enough iron to make another sword if I want to or I can make a diamond pickaxe or something this is ridiculous I uh I feel like a diamond sword seems obvious but a diamond axe

Could be better in a world where what do you reckon chat diamond sword or diamond axe um you need one more stone for a furnace I know it’s brutal I’m lucky I found the iron in the M shaft chest right be destroyed right now uh yeah
