Ultimate Wizard Training?! Mana Potions Unveiled!

Hello cup coders and welcome back to wizard training on the cup code server i’m your host magest96 now before we get into this i want to real quick let you know that i will not be releasing any videos next week that’s because it is going to be the

Thanksgiving holidays and i’m going to be out of town so i won’t be here to record um so i just wanted to give you a quick heads up on that otherwise let’s get on into this what have we got oh you see i am playing with some runes here yeah

I don’t know why we’ll look at it all right first off as usual we’re going to start right down in here where we’ve i’m always pretty preparing preparing stuff pre-preparing pre-prep prepping whatever oh no we don’t have a whole lot of time the server is going to be rebooting in

10 minutes so we’ll just get into it all right first off oh yeah here we go i’m going into the potions this this episode i want to show you the mana potion specifically uh here’s the first one obviously it’s the lesser mana potion now these are un

What’s the word i’m looking for here it’s you don’t have to put anything you don’t have to put them into them in a certain order there are unshaped recipes is what i’m what i’m trying to say so that’s what that is so we’re gonna go ahead and make those i’m gonna throw one

Over here let’s oh wait wait it’s already pulling it see check that out it’s another excellent usage for the magician’s workbench see i don’t only have enough in here to create one but it knows automatically to pull from this over here so that i can keep

Creating more and more and more so we’re going to put these over here now you take the lesser mana potion that we just produced there and you add some gunpowder to it and that makes the standard mana potion and once again it’s going to say hey okay well it looks like

You’re creating it again so there we go very simple stuff right guys all right we’re gonna keep moving on man i gotta i’m having a lot of extra time this time aren’t i so you take the standard mana potion and you apply some vintium dust and that’ll

Make the greater mana potion so let’s go ahead and throw these up here so we can just keep making them all right now if you take and you add some arcane ash that turns it into an epic mana potion and we’re going ahead and do that too let’s pull them out of there

And let’s look at the next set oh this is where it’s getting a little bit trickier isn’t it yeah actually we’re going to need some purified vintium dust so i went ahead and put the recipe in here by now you guys should know this i’ve shown this recipe like a couple times

Maybe not a dozen times but i’ve shown it a couple times so i’m gonna grab three of those now you put this in your epic manipulation and with purify ventium dust it makes a legendary mana potion isn’t that awesome so it just keeps

Going up and up and up now used to and i think it was artist magical one when you do did the potions you would go up to greater mana potion and the others would have to be done through the potion workbench the crafting table not the case anymore you now you can go

All the way up through the ranks to the legendary amount of potion in the workbench and then you add a piece of string three of them and it makes a la mana potion bundle now you can take these bundles and say we’re casting a bunch of spells

And you just imbibe the potion and it will refill your mana and you’re good to go on that the other potion that’s in here is the infused ethereum potion now that it takes a tamar root a kymerite and a bucket of liquid ethereum we’ll just go ahead and pick that up

There’s that now we’ve got other stuff over here for the next episode we’re just gonna step aside uh but i wanted to show you where was it where did i put it something else uh one of the guys sanka actually brought this up to me and advised me

What it was for believe it or not specifically the roon bag remember in the previous episode i mentioned that i didn’t really have any idea why you would need the darn thing because quite frankly to me i don’t see a reason why you would need to don’t think but he did

Explain it to me briefly so i’m gonna go ahead and show it to you here we go let’s get this out of here we’ve got this room back there so we’re gonna open the room bag now we’ve got an empty room bag so i’m gonna throw these runes right in here

Now remember as i showed you in the previous episode you cannot stack these in the room bag you can only put one of each one in here but that has a very good use you come into this keystone shift and click to open it and it has

Access to the room bag right over beside it we’re actually right here here’s the room bag right there so we could take items out of the room bag i tossed it no you are not picking it up go away broom geez let me go upstairs magic brooms trying to take everything

From us okay so and these i don’t know that that’s just weird that over there i’ll look into it later where’d it go thanks geez so yeah you put the items in the room bag and then the room bag is accessible from here so that you can use the rooms

Pretty much with this so you can take these out of here chop them into the room room bag and reorganize it however you want put them back in there that all of that stuff but once again i mean i know that it’s accessible from within from within this that you can use

The room bag for that to store some of your rooms in there but be quite frankly honest with you you’re only storing one of each rune in there which i guess it does kind of make sense because you’re working with the room it’s only going to take up one slot in

Your inventory as opposed to 16 different slots for all those different rooms so it does make sense for that purpose but other than that you really don’t need a room bag except for using it with with this i mean just use it with the keystone that’s about it i mean you’re

Not going to be using a room bag to store your rooms for crafting spells which is honest with you on that it it can only hold one of each rune but you are going to be using it for the keystone all right so that said um hmm what else

Do we’ve got all that done done all this i don’t know let me put this book back over here i keep carrying it around i’m going to lose it that way see we do have i know we’ve shown this before there is an issue on the server

So if you decide to play on the server just be it known that you’re going to have an issue where these will not stay connected i don’t know why but anytime you want to use them you’ll have to come in and you’ll have to you know carry your crystal

Wrench connected at least thankfully the crystal wrench does not break or anything like that um it doesn’t take durability damage when it connects stuff all right let’s see it just became daytime i’m kind of thinking you just go fight but there’s nothing to fight here oh yeah well yeah nothing to fight a

To me i know i said this i know i’ve said that in the next season we will not have ours magicka and that’s that still holds true and the only reason that is because the artist’s magicka for version minecraft 1.7 is not 100 stable there are major issues with it that

Well on a one player game it’s fine but when you come on to a server it could present some major difficulties for keeping the service stable so for that reason i’ve decided we’re just not going to do it we’re not going to have ours match mine here

And i don’t want you to think that i’m just you know nonchalant about it because let’s be honest with you ours magicka is by and large my most favorite mod ever i i was never a big mod person being honest when it comes to playing games i

Never really was that big on playing mods and then i found ours magicka and dude i love it it’s magic you know and i see what you think about it you know artist magicka is what made my channel what it is if it wasn’t for ours magicka

I don’t know how big my channel would be right now i mean you all you guys came to watch me because of ours magic you you found me because of our magicka if it wasn’t far as magic i don’t know if you guys would have been here

You know if i would have as many subscribers as i do and so i’ll be honest with you i’m a little uh freaked out it’s not scared but in a way yeah by the fact that i’m going to be removing earth magicka from the server for the next season because i mean

Face it art magicka is what it is is what built this server ours magicka is what built this channel and we’re removing it but we don’t really have a whole lot of choice because i mean if we try to put it in it can crash the server repeatedly and mithian’s not maintaining

It and he i asked him i said i went i contacted him i asked him it said asked if he was going to be handing the keys over to someone else now that he’s not maintaining it and his direct response to me was no he had other plans with the code

Rumors on the grapevine is that he’s going to be making an actual game using the code so that’s something to look forward to i’m really excited to see what he does with it but at the same time i’m kind of saddened by it because you know i’m not that i’ve never done modding

But i definitely probably definitely probably okay i might have been willing to take up the torch you know i mean you all know i mean watching myself i don’t know if you know it but i am a programmer you know that’s what i do in my full-time job i

Do computer programming for a living and i’m fairly i wouldn’t say i’m the best programmer in the world but i’m fairly decent i hold my own i’ll put it that way i work for an international corporation and i’m we have other programmers on oh whoa okay well that’s the server is over

Right there so i’ll go ahead and just let server reboot and finish what i was saying um but we have other programmers on staff but they don’t actually do programming i’m really the only one that does programming but that being said you know i would have been willing i might have

Been willing to take up the torch and continue updating his magical now i can’t say that i would have added a whole lot more to it i probably would have got it to a stable point and then left it and handed the keys over to someone else but i would have at least

Got it stable you know because just being honest with you but he said no he’s going to be working on it so that being said ours magical for one seven is not going to be fixed and that makes me sad i’m i really am sad that there’s no wires magicka for us anymore

Oh oh you see that weird code in my server that’s because i had to put that in there in order to get a listing on minecraftforms.net i think it is so that well that’s temporary i will be removing that once it’s verified on the server and i can edit the server rankings but

So here we are we’re back in here we’ve still got a few minutes left we’re all good i know the server isn’t peaceful so we can’t really do any fighting but whatever so yeah i mean leave me your feedback i definitely want to hear from you guys

How you feel about about the whole removing artist magicka thing because you know i’m sad by it i wouldn’t say i’m depressed but it kind of despondent because it is what made this channel it is what made this server it is what got you guys to subscribe and

We’re not going to be covering it anymore but that said i am going to be covering other mods now i have it slated i’m sure i’ve told you before that the next mod i’m going to be covering is bibliocraft which looks interesting to me pretty much it sounds like i’ll be

Taking flowers and doing magic with them of some sort maybe it’s alchemy i don’t know i haven’t looked into the mod yet so that’s one of those i think i might try to learn it while on camera but i’m kind of more along the lines of i’m going to

Come in here for like a week off camera and play with it to see what i can do with it um because i don’t really like coming on camera and being like oh i don’t know how to do this oh how do i do that or that to me it just it feels

It makes me feel like i’m dumb you know you come on camera and you don’t know how to do stuff i mean i know i’ve done it before especially with you know what was it starbound i played the starbound game and i really i don’t know a whole lot

About starbound i’m just playing and learning as a go and now i just started that was it ballroom i just started playing ballroom which it was one of those games that i’ve been waiting on i really have i love it and i’ve been waiting on waiting to play it

And now i’ve got it and so i’m kind of learning it on camera and like i said i don’t really like doing that kind of thing because to me it makes me feel like a dunce you know an idiot coming on camera and be like oh i don’t know what

I’m doing but whoa where are you at where where whoa it’s dark down here where are you at maybe i should put some more light down here i thought i had enough light jeez christmas oh look diamond let’s go ahead and get that diamond now that i’ve opened it up

There yeah i’ve been over here periodically off and on knocking this lava back so here we go let’s get these diamonds here that would have really sucked if there was lava up there wouldn’t it jeez i do stuff like that you know i know

We have a pet slime well i don’t have a i wonder if i have a name tag i think i do let’s go see if we have a name tag we’ll give this bugger a name i think that once i name tag that he won’t despawn

Do i have a name tag in here name tag name tag where’s the name tag i don’t have a freaking name tag up there’s one haha okay what are we going to call them what are we going to call them slimer no that’s everybody uses that juice hmm

Tell you what i’ll tell you what i’m gonna do i know what i’m gonna do here we go here we go we’re gonna put we’re gonna put the slime ball in here with the name tag and i’m gonna leave them there until well after not next week but
