UNBELIEVABLE: Building a MASSIVE Magic School in Minecraft 1.20

Welcome back everybody to episode 21 of building bigw germ season 3 in the previous episode we built up this beautiful greenhouse and worked on filling in the rest of this custom Mound that we’ve been working on and today I want to start working on some of the

Classrooms in this area and get some more foliage built up around the mountain uh so if you missed it last episode this whole area is going to be one big Magic School uh so we’re going to make use of this building here and we’re going to do a few classrooms and I

Think it’s going to be pretty cool and they’re going to be tied into the greenhouse a little bit here since they’re right next door I think it would be a good idea uh so we’ll be sure to incorporate that with the decorations somehow another thing I would like to do

In this episode is I want to get the courtyard built up uh for this whole school we’re going to have a few buildings over here uh but we’re going to have a big open area right about here so I want to get that built up and I

Want to get all the roads filled in for this entire area all the way down the mountain maybe down there not positive on that yet uh but at least up the mountain and all up in there I think getting rid of these holes is going to

Be a huge Improvement to this area so I I I want to try to get that done today as well but before I can get into this I got to do a bit of material Gathering I need a bunch of diorite which I do think

I have a bunch of but I I need calite which I don’t have a lot of and the bone block those are going to be two fairly difficult blocks to get uh that I don’t have much of at all so I got to head out before we can start building up this

Place and I got to start Gathering up some of these Blocks all right there is the exterior of the build done and I love it I think it looks so cool we don’t have Windows in yet uh but I think that’s the only thing we’re missing and that’s something we can get done whenever we get the uh

Start working on the interior but yeah it looks so cool I really really like it it Blends very smoothly into the greenhouse we made in the last episode and I’ve also been working a little bit on the interior nothing too crazy but we got some shapes in here there are a few

Missing blocks I’m going to have to get filled in uh but we got some of the basic shapes in here I also get this carpet put in in the middle here uh and then this is what the main classroom on this side looks like and I think it

Looks really cool that I mean this isn’t even detailed out yet we don’t have any of the furniture or anything in here but the texturing uh and the ceiling details I think looks really really cool as you can see I’ve got torches just spammed all over this place right now something

We’re really going to need uh well first of all we’re going to need lanterns that’s not going to be too big of a deal to get but we also need candles we’re going to need a lot of candles in this area cuz that’s going to be the main way

We light this whole area up by the way here’s the other side uh we got a little bit of a weird wall here because we’re going to have the stairs behind this wall bit of a spiral staircase but that’s not too big of a deal I don’t

Think so something we’re going to be using a lot throughout this entire build is these chiseled bookshelves these have become one of my favorite blocks in the game by far now I don’t have any books to put it in right now but I absolutely love this block it just adds so much

Detail especially once you get the books in here and get it all like varied up I love it I love the little design on the bottom uh it’s got a really cool like like checkerboard type design and I I love it I think it’s really really cool

Now another thing we’re going to do in here is we’re going to spread out a bunch of tables and chairs because it is a classroom so we’re going to have we’re going to need to have a bunch of space for uh all the students in Here All right we’re back and I have been doing a ton of work since the last clip I think in the last clip I talked about needing to make a bee farm and I’ve gone ahead and done that uh let’s see I think the spot’s right here yes I’ve gone

Ahead and did that I made one uh I ideally I would like to have a couple more but one for now is actually perfectly fine honestly so that’ll be fine and honestly maybe we don’t even need to build anymore I think um we’re probably going to be moving out

Of this area in the nearish future uh so maybe that’ll be just fine for for what we need for this area but okay so I’ve done quite a bit of work in here obviously done a lot of detail work we got a bunch of pots doors uh these like

Lantern thing or the candle holder things maybe I already showed this I don’t remember added a chandelier in here which I think looks pretty cool uh and then the classrooms this is one classroom this room is supposed to be like like where they’re studying all the

Um all the like herbalist stuff or like the everything that go is going on in the greenhouse this is where there is studying a lot of that stuff and actually one more thing I need to add in there I grabbed a couple of blaze rods

Because I want to make a couple what are these called Brewing stands cuz I think these do a really good job at representing like the bottom of like a lamp a lamp post I think it looks pretty cool there is a little bit of a gap

There uh but from a distance it’s I mean you can’t notice it it’s not that noticeable at all so we’re going to do that there I do wish I do kind of wish they were directional um but there’re s these are such old blocks in the game I highly

Doubt uh they’ll ever update that yeah that’s this classroom I think I showed the ceiling earlier uh we got a statue up there which is if you haven’t been around for a long time and if you aren’t uh haven’t been in the live streams then

You don’t know we have a little bit of lore in this world uh we have like a religion of the five Gods I mean directly ripped off from Game of Thrones uh but this is the mother I think uh this is like the god of nature uh so I

Felt like it would be a good a good spot to pull that lore back into the world because we haven’t used it in Forever uh so that’s I think that’s a good spot for that and then we got some little walls up there just to kind of try to

Represent other like smaller statues and then of course to make sure it’s all spawn proof we just got candles all up here let’s actually bump up the brightness a little bit to uh just so we can see it a little bit better but if we come over to this side let’s actually go

Ahead and sleep really quick over here we have another little room where this this area I’m kind of imagining they’re studying like necromancy uh so we’re going to put a skeleton skull there and one here I got these from a deep or what do they call it an ancient city a while

Back and then I want to put a load Stone right here to kind of make it look like it’s some sort of like necromancy table I mean this is a magic school after all so why not now we have the skeleton skulls but there’s a couple more skulls

I actually want to add I would like to get a creeper skull uh maybe I mean maybe more maybe a zombie skull if we can maybe oh a piglin skull would be really cool uh so what I want to do now this may not even work out in this

Episode it all depends on the weather uh but I want to I want to enchant my Trident here and get the um the what’s the one the one that uh makes lightning strike I want to get that enchantment uh so that we can charge a creeper and then

Get uh get some more heads from that so that’s going to be something I just have to wait around I have to wait around for well I got to go enchant this first so I’ll do that really quick but I’m going to have to just do a lot of waiting

Around around uh for the weather to turn to a thunderstorm so in the meantime I’m going to go ahead and just start filling out this area with uh some more ground we’re going to put some roads in here uh maybe a little Fountain and we’ll see

How far we can get while we’re waiting for the storm hopefully it doesn’t take too Long Okay well I literally just had a thunderstorm and recorded it but my microphone wasn’t recording so I’ll include some clips here uh but we got I I used my Trident uh and we got some uh we got some heads some we got a creeper head a skeleton skull and a zombie head

I was hoping to get a few more uh but this will be enough for for now this is all that we need for right now but I’ve also filled in the entire well not the entire road but I filled in a majority of the road in this area and I think

It’s looking really really nice I’ve also started cleaning up all this copper that we had over here so this is slowly getting taken away uh I’ve just I haven’t been replacing any I’ve just been taking it as it changes to the oxidized version so we’re we’re slowly

Getting this cleaned up uh I’m starting to smooth out this terrain a little bit so we can do some stuff over here which we may dip into this in a little bit uh at the very end of the episode but I’m not positive on that yet but let’s go

Ahead and get back up here and get these heads placed okay so I want to come up here let’s go up onto this shelf right here and we’re going to put the creeper skull right here boom uh and then maybe where can we put a zombie head I mean we

Could put another skull somewhere as well maybe like there uh it kind of Blends in a little bit let’s actually put the zombie head right there and then the skeleton skull let’s put right here uh maybe here yeah that’ll be good okay cool we’re done

With this classroom now uh I could add a few more details up there uh but I think for now I’m just going to leave it I’m not too worried about that so the only thing left to do in this place is to do this upstairs area and I think we’re

Just going to have a couple of little like a couple little offices up here uh we’re going to have a staircase leading up right here we’re going to have like a tower here that brings has like a spiral staircase coming up to here and then yeah we’ll just have a office over there

And an office over there but we’re not going to worry about that in today’s episode what I want to do now is I want to finish up this area right here this entrance way into the school and then fill in some of the ground on this Courtyard

Area all right I believe we’re pretty much done with all the roads here uh OB well except for there’s one more Road we’re going to have to do that’s going to be wrapping up to another building over there but we’ll get to that at some

Point in the future uh but the roads are all in we got this little like entrance area down here that’s going to be really cool and then all the roads all the way through this area except for like leading out uh into that Village these are all done as well I’ve also spent

Some time getting some Tall Grass covering this area uh it’s not even close to done yet but like this angle right here this whole chunk is done I mean you can see you can tell the difference you can see we need grass all over this area as well I mean you can’t

See how big of a difference it’s making this looks so much nicer than just the plain Moss blocks and grass blocks so I’m going to be making a big effort to expand that off camera uh probably between episodes yeah we’re making some decent progress on that uh the main

Thing I feel like we’re missing now is custom trees we really need to get some more custom trees in here we have a couple up there uh but not nearly enough so I think that’s going to be the next thing I work on just getting at least I think I’m

Going to try to at least get them done in the area that I’ve done the grass I think that would be the best spot to do it maybe a little bit along the uh the cliff here as well just to cover it up a little bit so I think that’s what I’m

Going to be working on next we’re going to go ahead and jump into some material Gathering and then we’ll come back and get some of these custom trees built up okay for the first place I need to go we need to head into the nether because

It’s very very far away now I do want to get to the roof of the nether but I don’t remember which locations I know I have a couple of portals that go to the roof uh but I don’t remember exactly which so we’re going to head to spawn uh

And then we’ll try a couple portals that are over that way actually I think there’s one here I think I have a second portal here that might lead us to the roof so let’s try let’s go back and let’s try this okay I had to come back

Through the portal for the um the guardian Temple uh but check out this view we got a view of the custom Forest over there around white Falls uh then we got that little castle there see this is why this is why I have such an old world

This is why I’ve kept such an old world for so long because you can just be going through the world and you find old stuff like that all the time and get these really cool views all the time but okay let’s go ahead and try this again I

Broke the portal inside the nether because I’m pretty certain there is one on the roof so let’s see if that’s where this takes us okay yes there we go perfect okay now we need to go we need to go to 10,100 in the Overworld so that’ll be 1250 NE

137 that’s where we need to go in the nether so let’s see we got to go this way and this way okay so we just need to go this way for about a th000 blocks which is crazy this is I’m heading out to a badlands biome now this isn’t the

Closest Badlands but it is the biggest in my world now this isn’t the closest one but it is the biggest one in my world so I think it’s going to be more worth going to than the other one uh so let’s head out here and I I don’t think

I’ve actually I don’t know if I’ve been in a badlands in this world yet that’s actually crazy I I I’m I think that’s true I think I don’t think I’ve ever been to a badlands here but okay we got to go right here 12501 137 now actually I don’t think we

Have to be perfect uh because it is a pretty big biome so let’s go ahead we’re going to make a portal right here uh we’ll go up one two three four there we go let’s grab a flint and steel and let’s head in see where this takes

Us okay okay here we are and okay let’s first of all let’s make a oh yeah Waypoint let’s go light red we’re going to go bad lands okay there we go that way that way we’ll know where we are but look at how far away I am this is our

World this is how far away we are at I mean already said we’re at like 10,000 blocks away but check this out so if you don’t know uh I make a custom World gen data pack and one of the things I did in the pack is I replaced the wooded

Badlands uh all the trees with these spruce trees to give it almost like a Grand Canyon type look and I love this this is the main reason I came out this far because I just wanted to see this I haven’t actually seen this in survival

Yet of course I made it myself so I saw it in Creative wow look at that that is insane one day one day we really have to come out here and do something it would be so sick to do like a western like some sort of western town out here here

Uh I can imagine just like big wooden bridges like train Bridges going across that would be really really cool ooh let’s oh look at this wow this area is really cool one day we’ll come out here one day I already have a a plan for the next project but maybe the project after

That will have to come out here because this is insane the only problem with doing this though would be the roads uh we’re trying to connect all our stuff with roads in this world and this is 10,000 blocks away that’s going to be just that road alone I’m

Pretty sure is more distance than all the roads I’m already doing combined 10,000 blocks maybe I mean maybe maybe not exactly but it’s pretty close but man this it it might be worth it it might actually be worth it cuz this is beautiful and by the way if you do want

Okay I got to get back to work I got to start collecting up some red Sandstone we got to find a bigger flat area uh maybe over this way so I’m going to collect up some of that and we’ll be back in just a little Bit all right we’ve made some massive progress here and I think it looks so sick I’m loving this this isn’t nearly as many trees as we’re going to have once it’s all finished but uh this does give a good feel for what it’s going to end up looking like all the different

Colors we got all the different shapes all the different types of trees it’s going to be really nice so yeah this is a good first step what is that right there oh it’s llamas uh so we’re going to have a big Forest over here going to

Be much more dense than anything we did over here we’ll have a bunch of trees over there we’re going to have some kind of in this area here and then we’re going to have another big dense forest right here which is going to be pretty cool I think

But yeah I am absolutely loving this area and I cannot wait to get more trees in here another thing I really need to focus on is more grass you can see I I think we even talked about it earlier I got a bunch of grass down in here uh but

We need to get more up along the hillside over there and then of course all over there as well but I think that is going to do it for today’s episode hopefully you guys did enjoy we got a ton of progress done today uh let me
