Unbelievable Horror Unleashed in Mage Quest! 🧙‍♂️ | Minecraft FTB 1.7.10

Good evening and welcome back to mage quest i’m modi apparatus on today’s episode we’re just going to take a little adventure exploring the terrain around us we haven’t done enough work just exploring the world see what we can see so we’re gonna take a little time today

And just do that i think so let’s get going all right so as i mentioned we’re just gonna go on a little adventure today because there’s lots of stuff i haven’t explored here we haven’t even seen the extent of what our continent actually looks like here uh my original spawn was over here

Someplace uh so i’ve explored that pretty well but there’s some cool stuff over here that eggs found just to the east of uh where we found that other thing here um i want to like kind of scope out where our our little continent ends here maybe

Scope with some good spots for a future site for a building maybe i haven’t decided if i’m gonna build anything big in this world yet or not due to the fact that i don’t know if it’s gonna disappear when the game goes to beta uh they said we shouldn’t get attached

To alpha worlds that resets will be possible so they don’t make any guarantees for the worlds i really hope we can hang on to it though but at that same time then i’m kind of like holding off on building anything really good here until i’m sure that it’ll it’ll last

I’ve dug out a bit of a mine here as you can see i’ve been digging deeper and deeper i made it nice and wide here uh so i’ve been working on that trying to clean things up a little bit and you know this is probably the extent

Of what i’ve been doing and this is mostly dysfunctional than it is anything else it’s not going for style points here that’s the three wide staircase is the only extent of my style points i’ve done so far here um but i really would love to build a

New building here so what i did was actually between episodes here i took the liberty of uh i added a couple mods in here and i haven’t started playing around with them yet but i added a couple mods of the pack i added uh carpenter’s blocks uh

So i can do a little these angle blocks i really wanted to play around with this but it wasn’t in the mod pack i was hoping it would be added but it’s not gonna be so i’m just gonna just gonna i’m just gonna edit myself here so far it’s not

Crashed or anything like that uh so we’ll find out once i start building with these if it’s gonna do it i’ll have to do some like test world stuff to see if i can crash the game using this stuff at all uh if i can’t

Then i’ll start using it in my main map here um as long as i know it’s not gonna do too much to the frame rates and also uh you know make sure it doesn’t crash the game i also added a bibliocraft which has a lot of different uh bib

Leo craft which adds a lot of different furniture into the game if you’re not familiar uh mostly i wanted it for the armor stand so that i can put my uh my good stuff here on an armor stand next to my chanting tables and all that stuff so i don’t need to

Carry it around with me and it doesn’t provide a lot of defense so i need to you know have it around but i don’t wear it all the time so that’s why i’ve added that one on there mostly just for that uh there are some other cool things we can add with that

There’s uh you know um some some bookmaking stuff and bookcases which bookcases we might use uh and different things like that lights we might want to use that fancy lamps and all that but um that’s really it that have added i also added or not soundcraft tinker’s construct um i added tinker’s

Construct because i really was kind of getting sick of the vanilla weapons to be honest with you it’s been a long time since i just had to rely on vanilla weapons now we are getting some magical ways of mining so i might not go with these constantly

Here i don’t know if i’ll be doing a whole lot with these i added it but i don’t know how much i can actually use it in any event i also turned off the ore doubling for the smeltery though normally your oars would double if you

Put in the smell through i turn that off for the mod in the contain file because i figure we’ll stay true to the mod and not give us a second way of doubling ores uh and that kind of thing we have to use magical means of doubling ores not any kind of uh

Mechanical means so that’s what i’ve added so far and then also along with tinker’s construct and added iguana tweaks because i love iguanas weeks um you can level up your your tools that you make and stuff again i don’t know how much i’m using it i just kind of did

It for a test to see if i can actually add new mods to the pack and keep it stable and all that anyways as i mentioned we’re gonna do a little bit of adventuring today and we’re gonna go cross country here and uh let’s see what we got in my

Bubbles menu here i got the uh the mining talisman on i have my uh so journalist sashan which is giving a super speed but you’ll remember we went to a little like pirate oasis or whatever we want to call it there uh and we found some cool things so i

Want to try this out we found the movement talisman uh i wonder if we can stack these with the sojourner sash and the movement talisman so the movement talisman will provide a jump boost and speed two so that’s pretty fast that is pretty fast but if we stack it let’s see what happens

Oh yeah this is this is super speed and so i have the saginaw sash on so i still have step up i also have super jump uh because i have jump two on there and i have oh my god that’s a tremendous leap so this is the start of our overpoweredness

Now uh we’re gonna we’re gonna get even more here because we can make the boots of the traveler from craft sit soon uh once i get the infusion all they’re done i haven’t actually gone out and gotten a ender pearl yet so we need to do that

And then i’ll set up an infusion altar over here so that we can make the the boots of the traveler and then i can’t even imagine what we’re going to look like as far as running now i mean this already feels like way too fast to me

So i think we’re ready to go here i think i got everything i need we got the mining tails middle with us just in case we need it uh i got my shield defense here i probably don’t have this with me don’t need to have this with me either

Um iron cap wand will hang on to in case we find anything we want to drain uh that’s good i’ll give you some more torches i guess but you know what we’ll make do so we’re gonna head south here for now and oh do i have my rod of

Disguise i could do good okay that’s the one thing i was missing um because i’d like to be able to uh keep myself from taking fall damage if you’re kind of careful i have to keep clicking it so that i don’t let it basically it only

Will uh take fall damage when it’s not recharging anymore so i need to keep clicking it to make sure it’s recharged while i’m in mid-air here if i keep her clicking it won’t recharge so i’ve been playing around with that and it’s going pretty good oh my god this is kind of

Unwieldy the jumping is kind of unwieldy here oh boy can i do this let’s just take a running leap off here going to make it oh my god okay cool man we were awesome it’s not quite flight but it is a little bit something and it’s early game too i

Mean we’re going to get flight mechanics and all that kind of stuff and we’ll get uh there’s there’s witches brooms from witchery i think use those to fly around there’s also some flying things from uh blood magic you can also fly with uh some semblance of flight with thumb craft as well so

There’s some things we can do did i get this one already you know what i should have brought with me is my uh one thing i’m missing is my um thermometer actually no i didn’t even make a second one of those yet that’s right because i made these goggles here

I need to still make a second one of these so i can actually scan these and get more aspects for research points in there um i’ll get some more research points if i scan those occasionally if i haven’t scanned it it’s only good at the first time you scan it so

Hopefully we can come back and find that one i should probably mark it on here even though there wasn’t anything really good in that one it’s a lot of compound aspects uh but if we build like the laundry charging station we might be able to use those actually

So we’ll take a look here quick let’s see it’s uh oh it’s fire and earth that would be good that probably could be a good remember here so let’s actually make a little uh marker here fire and earth and uh i’m not gonna i’m not gonna use their their regular

Terms ignis and terra or whatever it is i’ll just put that one right there okay so it’s gonna be laid out but hopefully that’ll be okay maybe we can find some ender pearls on our little adventure here uh to the south of the map so we’re not

Quite out of the forest yet there’s a magical forest beyond this regular forest here let’s see if we can slide over there so there’s a oh man there’s something over there okay let’s head that way oh the moon is out behind us the new moon looks like there’s something over there okay let’s

Head that way these are some of the structures i was exploring around and i found some structures but i didn’t really explore them because i want to do it on camera uh so i didn’t want to get too close to them at all just yet so let’s see we can see over here

Sword at the ready of course because it is night now we’ll have enemies spawning over the place now this would be a good area to fight some endermen though i mean there’s a lot of zombies here my sword is not very powerful i gotta admit this is

Taking three hits to kill a zombie that’s no good we need a better sword than this so maybe i’ll make a diamond sword when we get back because this this this man of steel sword is great and all but it’s not perfect what is this this is a mine

This is cool oh my god oh wow all right i gotta look over the trip wires here let’s let’s find the trip wires oh it’s all over the place me breaking it making it fire there we go i think we’re cleared out oh man that was that was surprising

And i’ll get some free arrows out here at least so that’s something positive we get some uh a couple of couple of trip trip wires skeletons skulls i’ll take those you never know where you want a skeleton skull come on you know taking a long time to break

Now that we have a good supply of diamonds though i think i probably use oh what do you have your mundane amulet oh interesting and a flame talesman cool let’s see whose types we got here we got milby’s we have uh w92 bajj pajamar and seth bling very cool should i take

Him with me it’s going to fill up my pack i don’t want to do that we want we got two of these amulets the one day ambulance have to figure out what we can do with those i’m not familiar with that so we’ll explore that next time maybe once

I figure out what i can do with that all right let’s head back out of here do i want some iron bars yeah let’s leave them here all right got to be wary of the uh the night time here but yeah as i was saying this would be a

Good spot to find some enderman because it’s a nice wide open spot but they’re not gonna be spawning oh well this is interesting let’s head over here quick oh that is really cool oh spider oh gosh once oh god it’s twice jeez two hits come on

All right got enough steak here to tide me over oh creeper just in time just in time to see him coming at me are these chickens oh they’re eagles man we really gotta find some chickens and leave them back for breeding because i have seen them occasionally but i

Never have any seeds with me when i see them unfortunately oh god seriously cave spiders oh my god no no no oh man this is this is bad news out here where’s the cave so i guess the cave is probably coming from this great great great wood tree over here i think

They do have spawners occasionally around them man this is this is bad news okay we’re gonna take sanctuary in this place hopefully it is sanctuary uh let’s let’s leap oh there’s spenderman we can get him oh make the jump oh my god that was a close one

Oh we got a couple intermittents all right let’s see if we can catch a couple of these guys here they’re uh their zombie friends are following me around all right let’s get him sneak up on him oh it’s gonna take so many hits to kill this guy i should have made the thing

For motonium before we left all right let him come back to us let him come to us let’s get i feel like the zombie’s gonna come up right behind us we got a grass block that’s all right i’m on you where’d you go jeez oh there

All right let’s deal with this guy let’s get him all right so my uh mining my mining talesman i don’t even have it on right now i’m going to say the mining cells and help them swing a little bit faster but speed too i think it’s helping me do a

Little bit as well okay let’s get man i don’t want to come over there at night because there’s gonna be zombies uh taking out part of that village i really don’t want that to happen over there got a wisp for sure oh no who down where are you where are you

Oh man close here oh there is oh man hear this one time that’s not too bad okay let’s steer clear of the witch’s hut for now it’s your clear you too let’s take another big leap across the gap here oh we can almost make that in a single

Jump there oh man it took so much damage oh man oh i forgot about the rod of the skies we’re gonna we’re gonna die out here we are gonna die out here let’s like let’s just recover here watch our back watch our six watch all directions watch around the clock

And uh make sure our health recovers enough because that wisp over there could be bad news if it starts tagging us my armor is not holding up that well i don’t have full iron armor even i have chainmail oh that is the skeleton riding a spider no i don’t want to deal with

That right now take a look around here for anything anything cool all right let’s head over to the village now i guess we can almost make this jump i don’t want to risk it so we’ll get the rod of this guys ready i think we can actually

Make this jump though if we just ran for it let’s try it so close so close so close so close so close we can almost make it all right there we go okay let’s let’s carefully inspect the switch’s hut i feel like you’re gonna spawn a witch

Right on top of us oh there’s so many zombies okay maybe maybe not maybe not all right let’s let’s go this way to the village then first the zombies will come knocking down the doors here but maybe we can find somebody to trade with us or somebody selling something really

Cool oh get away from that door get away from that door you know what actually i think that the zombies might not be able to knock down doors in this for some reason hey how’s it going he wants a one emerald for four clay are you kidding me

I mean if i had an infant source of emeralds maybe what kind of villager are you you have like one yellow eye one one gray eye and one green eye very very strange oh he’s got a chest down here he’s hiding he’s holding up you’re holding on let’s make a buddy

Let’s take his cauldron let’s see who’s got his chest rowan berries okay we want that for sure uh let’s leave behind these stone bricks here and the zombie head yeah we’ll take the food we’ll leave the gunpowder behind you holding out anybody next time pay up

All right i’m gonna i’m not gonna let the zombie kill you though don’t worry i got your back even though i’m letting them into your town here so yeah they don’t seem to bust down doors for some reason if that’s uh something in the mod maybe

I don’t know but either way it can’t happen so here we go here’s a thumb craft chest oh elumentum oh and knowledge fragments awesome okay so let’s what are we going to leave behind here glass bottles and another through knob account okay we don’t want to take this with us so let’s

Leave behind oh let’s leave behind this right there and what else can we leave behind right now you know let’s be honest leave behind the flowers because i have plenty of those at home those are replaceable knowledge fragments we can’t get any more of those and glass bottles i guess we can leave

That behind it’s not gonna take the really valuable stuff string actually i’m gonna hang on to even though we have our nice spider spawner at home uh you know you never know apothecary okay so that’s what that place was he’s apothecary oh hi guys you’re a witch oh you’re a

Like everything we need for a uh oh boy guys are gonna come in i feel like this is everything we need for a uh enchantment table over here just given to us let’s leave behind i’ll be out of saddle too let’s leave you on the redstones we have plenty of that

We’re getting that for sure okay we’re gonna get that viz stone eventually from this guy we’ll come back for it um nothing in here though okay so we are definitely coming back for this guy though for the viz stone and uh there is some oh boy we got some infested villagers over here

We’re a little too close to the taint it seems because uh we’re getting some infested villagers here we’ve strayed too far away from their homes where did that there he is there is let’s get him okay there you go come back here come back here oh where’d he go come on

Front of it but it’s actually part of the obelisk what is that oh my god what is that what the hell is that thing oh my god oh oh my god he does a lot of damage and i’m withered now oh my god we gotta eat up here quick get our health back

What can we even do to him all right we have nothing like we’re not armed enough for this guy he’s like some super magical force to be reckoned with that like the wither like wither skull effect his fires wither skulls at us i’m already walking back into the fray

After just dealing with him let’s actually do this let’s put this on that’ll help us in the long run do we have anything i have my my blade storm okay we can use blaze storm on it maybe and set him on fire he won’t be expecting that i’m sure you won’t be

Expecting that wherever he went not even here now oh he scared him oh there he is there he is i can’t even do it oh no i got the wrong spell oh no oh i have the wrong spell on me the area effects but i don’t have mana to cast it yet

All right so i think one of our goals here that’s going to be tool to tool up and take this guy out whatever he is i think what we’ll do is get some more get some more mana from the nether and then we’ll be able to tool up next time

And take this guy out let’s keep exploring this way and see if there’s anything to the east here is that a bad witch or a good witch i think he’s a coven witch let’s just ignore him let’s just ignore him um so that was the couple things i want to

Explore right now i’m just going to head over to this magical forest here see if there’s anything else worth exploring man that guy was that was not joking around so we definitely got to get better spells get ourselves more magical abilities uh to take that guy out man that was that was frightening

What is this over here another uh that’s another ruin nothing special about it the world is loading all around us very very slowly probably run too fast for the game to keep up that’s my guess oh we got a note in here well i don’t want to mess with it

But uh yeah another silverwood tree out here so there’s a nice magical force i mean that that area is kind of cool um i do i do like that area with the uh the temple and stuff like that over there that’s kind of neat oh this is bad oh no volcano

Next to all these beautiful trees gonna be bad bad news what do we have here oh from tinker’s construct okay so i’m over into the new newly loaded areas now so some tinker’s construct stuff is appearing like aluminum that kind of thing so we’ll have some more options for a

Metals and that kind of thing to mine so it might be a good idea to if we’re going to do tinker’s construct it’d be a good idea to set up shop over here in these new chunks so that we can uh take advantage of new minerals not gonna think copper

And aluminum mostly um yeah we’ll probably need copper and aluminum for uh making bronze and oh god what’s that the zombie or something going on yeah so i think let’s take a look here we’re almost to the edge of a map here i think there’s more there’s more let’s take a

Look at our map here quick now that it’s starting to load up a little bit here so let’s take a look here so we’re way far away from oh my god we’re so far away from home this continent is pretty big gotta be sad it’s uh it’s pretty

Gigantic but we’re not getting a lot of variation you mostly it’s all forest and taint and there’s some other stuff up here i really want to find some like desert and some snow if we can looks like there is another uh building it looks like that’s like the

Same as my building over here actually nope it’s another replica of the building i have right now so well we could check that out but i know there’s nothing there for us oh there’s some chickens oh boy they’re chickens how are we gonna get those chickens back

All right let’s head north here i saw him on the map are you a chicken you are a chicken oh we need the chickens we need to we need those bad okay so i’m gonna see if i can find some some seeds and uh see if i can leave these chickens

Back to our home so we can have chickens um at the ready whenever we don’t need to breed them and that kind of thing so i think i should look that’s what i’m gonna call it i’m gonna get some seeds and leave these guys back if possible
