Unbelievable! I Created a Minecraft Mod in 24 Hours…

Made a mod before so I’m going to learn everything there is to mod making and make a better mod than anything you’ve ever seen and you know what I bet you I could do it in just 24 hours now before we actually start making this mod what’s it going to be well I’m

Giving myself the goal of adding at least one block one item and one mob to the game it’s currently 8:37 p.m. according to Lexus so 24 hours starts now I have no idea where to start so let’s just um so I started by downloading Intel and Eclipse Tamarind by adop for the coding

And stuff but that’s when I realized I don’t know how how to code so I just sat there contemplating in pain until I found M Creator a software for dip that makes creating mods a whole lot easier for people who are too lazy to learn

Java look I’m a busy guy shut up loser anyways I got the software and I have no idea how it works God damn it why is this so complicated so after watching an ungodly amount of tutorials and reading way too many damn forms I was finally getting somewhere oh okay mod display

Name what what what should I name it poer mod yeah yeah and after waiting like 7 minutes for the thing to load we were in ooh look at all this stuff so we could add basically any of these things that we want I decided to make a block

To test it out and thus Joey was born wo I got to make a texture okay I I can do that so I opened Photoshop and made a little smiley face for a little man I added the textures to the block saved it as an element and ran our very first

Test woah wo woah woah oh I I think I got something working what’s going on so let’s let’s test out see if it did so if we search up Joey is he there oh he’s not wait flash give poer mod Joey oh oh it’s it’s him he’s here oh my

Gosh this makes me so happy okay this means that like we actually got something going now let’s uh try figuring out how to do everything else now now the next step I’d be taking would be making a mob for this mod but you may be wondering Parker you haven’t

Even made any items first of all shut the up and second I got plans for that later you see I want to incorporate the mob with the items but it wasn’t as easy as I thought anyways how exactly are we going to make this mob well that’s where these guys come in

Gecko lib and blockbench block benches for modeling are actual mob and animations while gecko is a mod for the mod Creator to create a mob for my mod so basically Geib is supposed to make the block bench animation and model compatible with M Creator and make the

Actual mob creating process a whole lot easier that’s if it could work I couldn’t tell you why but this thing wouldn’t get on M Creator the plugin kept being a little goober piece of where I just kept using incompatible versions of either M Creator or gecko

Live so it seems I’ve run into a problem I got the gecko lip plugin right here it says yes it is loaded but when I go here to try to activate it um it’s not there it’s it’s supposed to be here for me to check I don’t know why it’s not there

Without them once you export it what can you hear that can you hear how much pain this is putting me through I mean sure it might have told me in the instructions but I wasn’t reading those but I did finally figure it out so if we’re in the right version we should see

Be but before any of that we got to download blockbench open it up make a brand new project and I don’t know how to use blockbench you know I’m starting to notice a trend throughout this video and just not knowing how these softwares work but don’t worry I figured this one

About creating this model in a different way looks like a tongue right that’s a a good looking tongue I think I hope and not good going to lie I was able to figure everything out you’re kind of in the presence of a pro modeler right now

The lips model the body modeled the eyes and you guessed it modeled the tongue the throat the legs even the fing tail every single one of them absolutely modeled I was modeling so hard people were starting to think I designed the Burge Khalifa I got a call from God

Asking me to create the next species dude this is looking so good look it but then I had to make the antlers that which admittedly might have been a bit harder to make okay you’re telling me that doesn’t look like that guy you are some weirdo because look at he looks so

Similar now I just got to add some epic antlers and I think we’re going to be good ooh you could paint oh wait how do I go back uh wait what I then came up with the idea to just make the antlers separately which was definitely the right solution and

With that said I got to work so if we take this move it up 45 just delete that that up boom antler one done I’m not going to lie looks pretty good I think it’s a little tinier than I want but that that’s okay that’s fine so I just

Had to make this last antler and oh my gosh oh I think I’m done I think I finished oh look at my little baby frog lit it’s so good looking so this means the model is done right right wrong I still had to make the texture for the

Model and little did I know how absolutely awful this process would be okay now we just got to like color it and texture it but I have a I kind of have no clue how to do that uh I did find this thing if I press B there’s

This brush I don’t I don’t know how it works though so I think I think we’re just going to have figure it out as we go oh that’s just weird I don’t like that uh what do how does this work and and since that clearly wasn’t working I

Tried painting directly on the texture but that didn’t really work out either at this point it was really late at night and since I was working on this model for almost a straight hour I decided to call it quits because I kind of need to sleep but while I was in my

Bed I came to the realization my skin texture is very similar to froglets color scheme and I mean it makes sense just look at my skin it’s literally the same exact thing I even got the antlers I got the Frog tongue I got everything but to test this Theory I just had to

Wait till the next Morning n just kidding that was a joke if that happened I would have actually killed myself anyways my theory worked kind of I mean at first it looked like complete dog so I had to make a ton of changes to the texture which I forgot to record it’s okay deep

Breaths there was probably a much easier way to go about making this texture but I’m too lazy to learn how to do that and plus it worked after so long all right there we go man look at that that looks exactly like froglet dud I’m actually so

Happy but in the process I totally obliterated my skin texture so I had to spend 10 minutes getting my old skin back after that was situated I needed to make some animations for my mob kind of like the Sheep right now you see how it like walks around and moves its head up

And down and stuff like that that’s what I need to do so we got little froglet guy right here and I made this animation for when he’s walking and it’s the funniest thing ever if you think this is bad trust me it could have been a whole lot worse oh

My God god what have I created this is this is awful oh no now it’s time to actually get our mob and animations I made into M Creator so we got to we got to figure out how to do that this was actually a fairly simple process that

Definitely didn’t take me forever to figure out so it turns out I was doing a lot wrong and what I had to do was just look up here at this little Gecko and just press him and then import the gecko Li models through here oh my God this

This is so hard see simple and then you would just import the files you got from blockbench and then it was as simple as creating a living entity naming your entity and setting up all the basic stuff for the mob and I’m just going to

Not pretend like I know what any of this stuff even means but the following things were really easy to set up like the animations and the behavior of the mob and with that being said our mob was basically done at least for now entity death rotation no clue what that

Means uh let’s just save it yeah okay so does that mean it works I have no clue if it does if this works I’m going to be the happiest boy alive so if I do give me UK mod froglet spawn oh what if I oh

Quick I’m not going to lie the way I made these textures was kind of Genius you see I just took the images I had and just scaled them down to the required texture size and then I just re outlined them and then use the colors they

Already were and it was so easy I was able to get the textures done in less than 10 minutes all right now we’re good there we go we got a texture for each sword that I want to add now we just got to export them I know you need to be

Pretty smart to be able to come up with this stuff and you know I kind of am creating these swords in M Creator was super simple as well and took me no less than 5 minutes the thin sword a very thin sword perfect game item type it is a

Sword attack speed let’s make it faster since it’s a little thinner that’s good triggers uh we don’t need any there we go we got a thin sword and then we could add the others yummy yeah and then lastly the chicken sword which is obviously going to be the

Strongest one out of all them because why not yes the ultimate chicken so it’s the best sword out of all them and then can we just save it okay so we got those things but there’s one thing I want to do so I think I just got to add a

Procedure or something okay when you right click it I want to add a procedure yes uh let’s see and this is where things started to go downhill you see I’m by no means a coding genius sure I was able to get this far but this was

Definitely a huge wall for me to cross over and let me remind you I only have 24 hours to make this mod I’m not going to try spending the next few hours just trying to figure out how this program works so I winged it all right I got this let’s see um wo

Program to make the mobs drop certain items now this was not my original goal but this this will work for now okay TR trust me trust me but but even then this tutorial was not up to date which meant I had to try figuring out some of the

Stuff that was out of date myself oh my God this was painful but I got it done in the end and that’s really all that matters there we go look at that I finally did the thing where if you kill it it drops all through the swords I

Could not figure figure out how to make it random and my brain is absolutely fried and I don’t feel like doing this anymore I don’t know if you could tell by my voice but I was exhausted I was basically living off the three brain cells I had at the beginning of this

Video and I lost every single one but you know I think it all worked out I was able to get everything done I had the block I had the items I had the mob but you know there’s one single thing that stuck with us the entire way through
