Recently oh yeah yeah I I see the Same I don’t know it it’s just weird to me um I mean I get it like do you want to do that till you die and I totally get the fact of like you know uh Matt Pat and moo are you know dads now and it’s it’s a whole different Thing and also the fact that the internet’s just changing I mean the fact that like uh even Vanos isn’t as excited about making videos anymore as he used to be just kind of shows like how much the internet is changing And because like you could tell when everyone was just having fun with everything when like you could tell now there’s a lot more references to just like this is like like it just being their jobs video yeah it was pretty I don’t know it the thing is

I it’s weird because I didn’t have as much of a connection with map that as I did with like moo at one point um but it just like the idea of it is kind of just interesting to me like it’s not every day you hear of a YouTube qu a

YouTuber with as many subscribers as they have you know creating YouTube not because of a scandal or something you know just because they want to and it’s just it’s just odd to me I mean I I don’t know Matt Pat yeah I know a lot of

People that were really into uh GT live and uh Game Theory I used to be really into Game Theory now I pretty much just watch the F night at Freddy stuff because uh or any other indie game uh stuff whenever they do like a mainstream game and have like a outlandish Theory

It’s it’s and of course it’s always been like this but it’s it’s just like I like uh very serious theories about like lore and stuff over theories like uh you know is does sist drink freaking protein drinks every day you know and I know there’s an audience for

That you know like the goofy the goofy theories yeah I like their food theories I like their um I haven’t looked at any of their fashion theories it’s not it doesn’t really it doesn’t appeal to me on paper so I may eventually but right now I’m just I’m not into it but

Uh yeah I mean I just thing I was saying though is that like I watch Game and field 3 I did too all the time back in the day uh I’ve slowed down recently but I’ve also slowed down watching Everybody it it’s so it’s so much I

Don’t know what it is when I was younger I could just sit there and watch it for hours and now I can barely play a video game for multiple hours without you know going into it depression or whatever but um it’s really it’s really interesting you

Think like I understand so like if they were leaving for to you know to follow their own passion you know and just to like stop doing fulltime just because like it it does take away a little bit from your content if you don’t if you do that

Like all you’re doing when you’re doing full-time like like moo for instance uh the van Oscar you could tell like a lot of their job is kind of chasing Trends you know getting into to Minecraft during Co getting into Among Us for a while uh fortnite everyone trying fortnite a

Bunch and some of them just doing only fortnite um yeah I used to I used to watch moo all the time like he was one of my favorite like uh cuz in that in that crew it’s actually kind of fun cuz they you know they they post the same videos pretty

Much but you get to see like what con like what parts did this person leave out what parts did that person leave out and I will say that I started to notice because I used to watch Vanos and moo and then I’d go to like you know Terrorizer Wildcat or something like that

Um you know if I wanted to watch the same video that they posted that week uh just to see like the different perspectives the different parts that I that that I missed in this video uh the different jokes and stuff a Minecraft Youtuber right no no

No uh he’s they’re more of a I think they started out as Call of Duty uh YouTubers but they got really big in G ta like they got that’s when they started like blowing up I don’t I’ve never watched Minecraft youtubers uh I just never have I I did

When like Minecraft was new I watched I think Tobuscus play it but he wasn’t a Minecraft Youtuber yeah I I think um I don’t know I totally see if YouTube is just not like what if you just don’t want a creative field I mean the the worst

Thing you could ever do to somebody is force them into a creative field when they don’t want to be in it you know cuz all like it like the only way you can be in a creative field for so long is passion because it is torture it is like self-inflicted

Torture you have to constantly constantly be learning new things constantly be trying new things and just like taking crazy risks and all this other stuff and learning about your audience and everything like what other job do you have to learn about your audience like a plumber does a plumber have to

Learn about their freaking audience no that’s really depressing it is I mean you see it all the time with like the new movies that are coming out nowadays these non-creative people are forced into creative positions or just think they are creative because oh I can do I

Can do something that I deem as original or whatever and it just sucks you know and I’m not saying you know Moo’s not creative M’s not creative they definitely are and they probably learned a lot of creative traits because of the job that they had but if you’re not like actively loving

It it’s not going to work and I’m not saying you have to love it every single day or whatever but when like if you not getting excited about oh this new idea this new project this New Concept you know and the problem with YouTube is that it is kind of get going

Away from creativity as well I mean I I I don’t blame Mr Beast for any of this but I do see that Mr Beast is the new trend and it really is just like if you want to do anything on YouTube you kind of just have to spend a whole

Lot of money take 3 months on a video and that’s how it is nowadays like that’s how you get Trending and there’s something to be said that that like obviously you know there’s always been phases of YouTube where you know um in the beginning sketch comedy was a big thing in YouTube and that died out uh pretty I mean it didn’t never really

Died but it had to evolve to be more um I guess mainstream I don’t know more casual i’ I’d say like the whole smos thing if you’re looking smos today versus smos back then I just wonder do you want to become a popular YouTuber or do you like where

You are now I want to make money on it I don’t okay I want to be able to syn time into YouTube and feel like it’s worthwhile because the thing about my books is that you know even on the days I hate doing it or the days I think I

Suck I can at least look at the end and be like okay but you know there is an actual outcome here where I can do this over a bunch of stuff that I don’t like doing like my job isn’t bad when I work at the kiosk

Uh it’s it’s not bad but it doesn’t pay all the bills and to be honest I I would rather uh be able to work my own schedule like start doing stuff like on my own and not have to answer to somebody not to mention do something

That I’m actually proud of doing cuz I mean yeah it is work but I never get home being like oh man I really I really changed the world today not that I really want to change the world it’s just more of like you know if you’re doing something that like there there’s

Like this uh graph that you have to kind of be on when you uh pick a dream or pick a a job do you want to get paid well do you want to get treated well do you want to do something that matters to you may not matter to the world but it

Matters to you and do you want to like doesn’t do you want it to be fulfilling right and you can’t really have all four of those but you can choose which ones you want you know like getting a job at Walmart maybe it pays better than than

You know Denny’s or wherever the heck you can get a job at uh McDonald’s or whatever but it’s not going to treat you well it’s not going to be fulfilling it’s not going to be anything else so it’s like when you’re picking out a career or a

Job at least you want it to do two things generally you want it to pay you well but if you don’t need it to pay you well then you definitely need it to treat you well or else there’s no reason to stay there and I’m going to be honest my job

Doesn’t treat me the best the only thing I see when I think about the future is depressing stuff it’s not I don’t know uh it’s really weird I like I I this is what you really want in life at least this is what I want I don’t want to retire everyone has a goal of like oh I’m going to work this long so I can retire and then never have to work again but wouldn’t you just rather be doing

Something like doing what you want to do rather than retire like wouldn’t you rather do something until you die like if you could find something that you loved doing so much that it’s actually better than not doing anything wouldn’t you rather have that yeah I mean of Course but the way that things are and stuff yeah it it totally makes sense to worry about it especially like you know let’s say you grew up on YouTube all of your YouTubers are probably going to not be YouTubers in the next 5 years it’s because it’s a whole

Different era YouTube is not a poor man’s game anymore streaming might be it might still be a thing just because of community and you know uh uh communication and whatnot but like gaming videos or uh let’s plays and stuff dude I miss I miss just watching a let’s playay you

Know I hope I’m still here too but I I bet you I’m going to evolve a little bit cuz what I’m hoping is that my writing does take off not not like you know JK rolling kind of takeoff but you know take off in a sense that I can now just do writing

Fulltime um or at least you know part-time and then I’m going to fund my YouTube channel through the writing and probably do a lot more like writing based content more creative based content so like my videos and stuff like that idea of the project zomboid

Stuck why is it spicy it’s kind of hard to say what I want to do on YouTube like what my goal is yeah I know it’s almost three um I don’t I don’t know what my goal is on YouTube I think what I really want is just kind of

Like the extent of the fame at least I want it to be um I would even say I was going to say Game Grumps but not even that I I’d like even less than Game Grumps like honestly I would like to be just kind of like you know that that YouTuber that

When you say it to somebody else you expect them not to know who they are and then when they do know who that is it’s like oh my gosh I have a new friend you know like that kind of level I want it to be so that like it

Does pay for itself so I can put timing put time into it and not feel like I’m wasting a bunch of time uh or wasting a bunch of energy on stuff um I do want to share experiences with people online you know like when new games drop or whatever like

I I I also want uh just like um I I one of my goals like I don’t have really most users like this do videos on only one game yeah yeah that’s that’s my problem is that I could not do that I literally could not do that I don’t know how people

Do and that’s how you kind of grow is to do videos on just one game I mean look at Minecraft just in the last three videos I’ve gained two subscribers right with that kind of like percentage or that kind of like growth yeah but then you get into the captain

Sparkle uh Captain Sparkle’s like dilemma where you’ll hit a plateau where like you’ll you’ll grow and you’ll have a niche but then once you want like when you want to like grow outside of that Niche you can’t it gets half as many views or even less and you’re just kind of stuck and

Then and then you’re stuck in this instead of it being a creative field now now it’s a a channeled creativity or a um a restricted creativity right where you can like it’s like authors that only write one book series but they write like a hundred sequels and spin-offs in that book series it’s Like you yeah you have a niche now and you’re definitely making money unless you just second Channel and even then yeah exactly like that’s that’s the the rut I don’t want to get stuck in you know and I also just my personality I get I get attracted to games for like a

Week and then I drop them you know like that’s just what I do I’ve always done that and I probably will keep doing that you know um the I would like to have another person here to like play games with me cuz I feel like that’s always it’s always fun to

Have two people just kind of like like most people yeah exactly I think most people do not play the same game for you know 100 hours one week and then play another 100 hours the next week well you know new games I could probably drop 100 hours into but I won’t touch

Them for another uh month or so the woman I I mean me many definitely are going to play games like probably like um I don’t know I I want it more like a uh I don’t know maybe maybe when you can start doing it I I just

We possibly can’t like Matt Pat played with his wife uh on on GT live and stuff and I always thought that worked out like their their personalities really do mesh pretty well together I just don’t know how mean I just don’t know how me what you

Would do but I I think we’d work really well why is it doing this I don’t need all this dirt I guess well the pro the problem originally was that like when he wasn’t in video games as much as I was so like I don’t know

But we could definitely do it I guess espe on like horror games I think she’s really funny oh hello we’re just talking about the state of YouTube right now all the people leaving and stuff I just could have never see myself being sustained by a creative field like

YouTube you know or writing and then going back to a job you know what I mean like I just couldn’t I could not see it and I think I think the problem that moo had um or has is that he’s kind of lost his voice you

Know cuz like back in the day when he’d play with his friends all the time he had a very distinct personality that was different than everybody else’s and uh but but now that he’s like more concerned about it being a job than it being fun I think um he kind of lost he

He lost some of it and and then he never he never really refound his new voice or anything like that and that’s why he got into a rut that’s why you know everything just sucked and why he was always con like the only reason why you’d be constantly thinking about your creative

Project is because you are trying you’re you’re trying to um I’m done with YouTube yeah I just think like the only time you would ever like be so obsessed with your creative project is when you’re too focused on the money aspect than you are about the creativity

Aspect you’re too focused on the fans or on guidelines or on anything like that like that’s when you start having fun and it’s really hard not to do that because obviously now that that it’s your job you have to consider some of that and I know it’s going to happen to

Me if I start you know full-time full-time writing and stuff I’m going to start to consider like oh the audience like what do people want to see and what and stuff like that but I’ll I’ll have like again it’s just going to be something I’m going to have

To learn when it happens like how to rain back that and put forth what I want to do I have to do that with my YouTube channel already you know like Minecraft for instance it’s like uh on Monday when I consider streaming I don’t know if I’m going to

Stream this or something else and the only reason why I keep streaming this really I mean I streamed it at first cuz I wanted to build and stuff but after the first first few streams I was I was kind of done with it but I keep

Streaming it cuz it does get views and it does get people to my channel and that feels good but there’s also not something else that I’m like super passionate about so it’s not like you know I’m not selling out or anything it’s just it seem like the best thing to do I Guess I don’t know when you get trapped in a creative field that is no longer really like it’s like getting trapped in a job that you don’t Like and like a job that’s not going anywhere it’s not changing in any way that’s good it’s not like you never see yourself advancing um and I I would say that probably the Vanos crew gets more burnout than anybody else in that category cuz they all get like kind of roped in behind

Vanos so they feel like no matter what they do as long as Vanos isn’t around like it doesn’t mean anything or they’ll always just be remembered as part of the Vanos crew of course there’s people that were in that crew that have branched out and actually become kind of their own have

Their own voice such as wild cat and HD Delirious what was that when I think about it only a few people do multiple games most YouTubers play a single game yeah that’s the that’s the new gaming thing like that’s the new gaming culture is that like and it’s because it’s easier to

Keep an audience that way think about how many times you found a new YouTuber and you just watched one game that they played for the first like two weeks of watching them before you branched out like when I first watched Game Grumps I only watched like three games that they

Played before I started actually watching them nor like regularly and it’s at that I mean that’s it the reason back in the day people would have 40 plus episodes in one let’s play you know and that would get you to know the person enough to go and watch their other

Stuff nowadays like there’s no let’s plays and not to mention Let’s Plays aren’t even like really uh they don’t do well anymore I thought YouTube was an easy job I I mean it is in the regards that you know you get to stay at home and

Like you get to kind of do whatever you want but the fact of like you have to kind of you either have to follow these trans and once you start following the trends you have to stay on them because now you’re the trend follower guy you do all the news

Stuff or you need to do your own thing it’s way more risky it’s way more whatever but once you actually find uh like an audience they’ll watch whatever you play like Markiplier Markiplier never plays more than like three like like three Say in any game and I’ll watch anything he

Plays and it’s because he’s made like his channel around playing one obscure games indie games and whatnot and those are usually short like eight8 bit Ryan too oh yeah eight bit Ryan like it’s it’s and that’s really hard to do and Smitty yes like think about how many people probably stopped watching like

The Vanos crew and stuff after they stop playing GTA I mean literally whenever they do play GTA I go watch their videos that’s like a must watch for me yeah I love Smitty s’s Awesome um he’s like one of the OG like gaming YouTubers I feel like if I’m or maybe no I think somebody else no I think Smitty he’s also really funny and edgy I mean that that’s another big thing is the edginess yeah like I mean when I was younger watching

Like Tobuscus and stuff Tobuscus wasn’t all that edgy in fact I’d say he was the opposite uh um until you know you got cancelled But I don’t know it’s just it’s a weird thing and of course the audience is going to understand because like me I’m like what job is better than YouTube you know you have a following you can do stuff and get money for it like you can do whatever you want

And get money for it but that’s not how it is to Him I don’t know again it’s it’s probably not even about the money to me it’s about the money cuz I’m I’m just like you know I don’t know I just don’t understand I just I I just my my go life I’ve realized over the last year and stuff

Cuz everybody at my job talks about retirement and everybody that ever talked to me about writing and stuff talks to me about retirement and I’m just like retirement sounds awful okay it sounds awful have you ever spent like a whole week just doing nothing nothing besides watching YouTube

Watching TV what you know playing video games and stuff Have you ever spent a whole week doing that And well it might be you know I have 3 days off right now and I feel like it’s awful not because I want to go to work it just feels awful vacations yeah in the middle of working like especially jobs that you hate jobs that make you tired like if I

Was still working at the deli every day I would feel amazing with this 3 days off it would be awesome because I would be so tired you know and it would be really nice but I also would do nothing I I I would deliberately do nothing that’s the thing though but at

The end of the day like think back and you guys might be in a high school and stuff I used to watch YouTube all the time in high school and never really understood this but think back to a day that you did a lot of stuff that you liked

Doing not just watch YouTube I mean like you did something you you maybe it’s not creative maybe it’s not you know anything but you did something that you like doing hey it’s hanging out with friends maybe it’s hanging out uh with your family maybe it’s you went on a trip one

Day or or you drove a bunch or you know you went on a walk or whatever like think of that and then think of a whole day that you spent just watching YouTube like that’s the that’s the difference right now what people think retirement is like is like sipping martinis on a freaking on a beach right you’re S I think my Bluetooth thing is about to die which is fine we’re just playing Minecraft so you guys are going to hear

A little bit of a echo but don’t worry about that give me one second like everyone thinks you know retirement is sitting on a recliner and watching the game but I mean for Our Generation probably be like playing the Game one second let me turn off my TV you know how boring that would get even YouTube like even the reason why you don’t don’t get bored watching YouTube is because for most of the day or for most of your days you don’t get to watch YouTube so when you come back

To it and you lay down on your bed or sit down on a chair uh you get to watch all the videos that you miss so there’s like hundreds of hours but imagine you’re fully caught up and only you know 20 new videos that you’re interested come out that

Day and because how YouTube works now those vide are 5 minutes long there’s 20 of them but it last 100 minutes like that’s what people want their retirement to be just sitting around doing nothing like that’s nuts why would you ever want that wouldn’t you rather just have your

Retirement beat you’re doing what you want like wouldn’t your retirement plan be you’re doing work like you’re working but it’s the thing that you’ve always wanted to do and you could do forever yeah you’ve done it you’ve done an entire day once but imagine doing an entire day six days in a

Row and then imagine that goes to se it goes to two weeks in a row and then a whole month in a row of nothing but YouTube heck man I I’m super lazy but like the like when you actually like I don’t know start doing stuff that you love even if it’s work I’ve done it more than once but you also had school and stuff didn’t you like it wasn’t just you woke up one day

And from night from like when you woke up to when you went to bed you watch YouTube and then the next day you did that and then the next day you did that that I think youd talk about these things I don’t know it’s just like I I

Was just thinking about it cuz retirement sounds awful why the hell would I work a job that I hate for 60 years just so I can retire for 20 years and on top of that all day every day on top of that like I’m just going to be sitting there Like everyone’s ideal retirement is just doing nothing and I don’t get that yeah I I I’ll play games and watch you like again I could do it but I wouldn’t be happy I’m not saying it’s impossible I’m just saying like once you actually spend a day doing

Something that you love doing that gives you a sense of accomplishment that gives you a sense of you know um forwarding momentum it gives you just all the all the good stuff like that that’s why well here’s the thing in high school I was super lazy I was super lazy in high school

Dude I mean I would I I would like I I didn’t do any sports besides golf okay and that already is kind of a lazy man sport but I wouldn’t do any sports besides Golf and then on top of that when I would get home I wouldn’t do any

Homework wouldn’t do anything I’d just lay down on on my bed with my phone and I would literally watch YouTube for the next like 10 hours without stopping dude you’re not lazy if you if you’re like that in middle school you know you are you’re tired you know like you don’t understand

The reason you’re like that is one your body is freaking going nuts and two you’re waking up way too early for your sleep schedule and three you’re spending half the day at work like you’re spending over like eight or more hours at work which they call

School but school is work I mean you’re required to be there you have to get permission to not be there the only difference is you don’t get paid you have to pay to be there you’re at work and then you get home and you get on your and you know

You pull out your phone and then you have days off which are Saturdays Sundays maybe Fridays depending on the type of schools that you have and then you you take those days off you don’t do anything and then there’s homework yeah imagine if your job sent freaking work

For you to do at home off of the pavement schedule that’s what school is okay so like it is not lazy at all TR like trust me if your parents were doing the same thing and getting paid for it they would do that too

I mean as an adult you kind of learn how to you know manage everything and do eight hours of work but I mean 8 hours of work as a freaking you know teenager especially early teenager at middle school is a lot it’s a lot it is a lot anyone that says any

Different is lying to you it is a lot when you get home especially it like YouTube and stuff uh when you go to school you’re kind of forced into the social interaction with everybody while working so if you’re a person that you know isn’t energized by forc social interaction which is almost

Everybody you’re going to have to you’re going to have to De decompress and most of the time you know that’s all the time you get for decompressing decompressing social interaction yeah dude I remember I remember I loved when school’s out because I could do whatever

I wanted you know but then you start to realize like just cuz you get to do whatever you want doesn’t mean that makes you happy I think what really makes people people happy is doing hard stuff that you want to do you know like this for instance do you think I I’m happy

Whenever I you know mine out a thousand freaking Stone no do you think I’m happy while I’m building the the you know the castle that looks like a pile of [ __ ] right now no but do I like looking at it when it’s done hell yeah do I like thinking about how it’s going

To look when it’s done yeah the more you talk the more I get depressed well it’s true it the the moment like it kind of sucks because when you’re when you’re in high school or at least when I was you know I wanted to be rich just so I could L like lounge

Around every day and that’s because when you’re in high school lounging around is the best thing like it is awesome you feel like you’re in complete control you’re doing everything and and you think it makes you happy which it probably does for a a little while everyone needs to land around a little Bit wait why did I grab why did I grab axes instead of shovels and in high school I feel like it’s different too because I could just Lou around forever and it’s because I had a I had a either stressful or productive day at school I wasn’t expected anything out

Like I didn’t have to do anything for for rent I didn’t have to do anything for anything so I could just like play a video game all day hey most of the day at school when I was zoning out was just me contemplating what I was going to do when I get Home but then here’s the thing is during that and this is just me right you can have passions about anything else but during the days that I was like the borest or whatever I would have these moments of like oh my gosh you know like because I’ll think about stories that I wanted

To write and whatnot and I would just get totally sucked into thinking about it for so long and I realized like that’s what I want to chase like my whole life I don’t want to get absorbed by that feeling but I want to chase It you know and that’s that’s the thing is that once you find the goal that’s yours not one that you know your school gives you like graduating college or or getting a master’s agree or whatever like once you find the dream that is yours you’ll never be more happy than

When you’re working towards it sometimes I write entire stories that’s awesome I found out a way to clean them off yeah dish pods oh yeah yeah like hot water and then like you scrub the [ __ ] out of it with your hands and I got and it’s clean it’s like white now and

Twisty and make a SM good and have C floors this yeah it’s better than Clorox it’s better than Clorox I just get a boost of determination yeah dude that’s like the that’s like what I live on like I’ll have 10 days that I’m in a rut but the

Two days afterwards where I have determination and I like I know where I’m going and and everything um like it makes it worth it and it doesn’t it doesn’t make any sense cuz really to me even in my head it doesn’t make any sense cuz I I Remember Loving just freaking laying

Whole I always thought especially when I was in high school thinking in the future of just like so I wake up every day and I go to work so I can come home and have like 3 hours to myself but I don’t have three hours to

Myself cuz I’ll probably have a wife and kids at a dog so I’ll have maybe 30 minutes for myself two hours of G three is giving away his you I know that’s what started this whole conversation really but like like when I was a kid that’s what I imagined being an adult

Was it just like cuz that’s what my parents did and yeah my parents didn’t go to work my dad owned a business uh making maps and my mom worked from home but it was still like we already talked about 20 minut ago yeah um you still just

Like why would I ever be okay with that I’m not okay with that when I was in high school I wasn’t okay with that just imagine if your high school schedule was 8 hours long and then you got home and you got 30 minutes by yourself to do whatever you wanted and

Then the rest of the day was you know taking care of everybody else being around everybody else paying for everybody else and I just like you you just have this it’s hard because in high school it feels like there’s really no other directions to go

But you just need to sit down and ask yourself honestly cuz you have to do something you know like you can’t you’re not going to get paid watching YouTube you’re not going to get paid to be lazy so like that’s why having a pit is is emotionally good yeah but

Um like you have to do something and it has to involve money so you have to ask yourself what is something I am willing to do for the rest of my life that will make me Happy with no plans of retirement no plans of this no plans of that no plans of of you know being rich no plans of Glamour or anything cuz generally uh what comes with being rich is even less time to yourself a lot of us think it’s you know

We you just get a lounge around cuz you have so much money you can do whatever you want it’s like no usually rich people work twice as much as you know normal people and get even less vacation days and whatnot and yeah when they do get vacation days you know they’re freaking

Awesome and dope they have their own private jets and whatnot but what’s the point when you can only use it like five times a Year that’s the thing that really like changed my perspective on all of it cuz it’s like I hated the fact that work was just this meaningless like way to get money for no reason but when you finally sit down and ask yourself honestly like what am I willing to

Do for the rest of my life until I die like what would make me happy also why are you flattening this so I’m making a level and I’m just going to flatten it down to the flattest to the to the um lowest point and then that that’s really

It this is going to be the like the bottom floor of this Castle like the craziest thing to me is uh the fact that I work with people that are way older than me and people that are the same age as me and they don’t have any

Goal like they work at a Smiths and that’s just what they do like that’s just their lives yeah they may have kids and they’re you know support their kids whatever but like they don’t have any end game they’re they’re not trying to get anywhere they’re just trying to make

Ends meet and that’s the most depressing place you could be I finally trapped a fly under the trash can like I just I don’t know it it’s just so like think about what you love doing with your friends like or even just watching YouTube you could become you could become a movie reviewer

You know there’s anything that you love doing has a way to make money you might have to learn like a hundred other things just for that to work out but it can work out like me when I was making stories up in my head you know when I was when I

Was in high school I didn’t want to write them at first cuz I hated writing I always thought like oh you know it’s going to be like a a TV show and I always thought that I was just going to fall out of the freaking sky

That you know I was going to be able to make a TV show one day and then I realized you know thinking more and more on it technically I have videos that I could upload but I don’t and that’s another thing maybe there’s a there’s a passion that isn’t normally monetized

That you could actually monetize people freaking do anything there are people that monetize their Uber driving on YouTube they monetize a job an already kind of self-employed job on YouTube and they get money and they have followers and whatnot dude I’ve thought about just like live streaming an entire day’s work at my

Job I think it’d be awesome well I don’t think it’d be awesome I think it’d be boring as all hell for sure but I bet people would watch it oh out of shovels anyway yeah it would be boring but don’t you think uh watching an Uber driver is boring the D it’s not

Even showing the road it’s just showing his face while he’s driving people watch it you could have a cam just watching your dog all day and monetize that yeah they probably would but it’s like whatever you can think of there is an audience like for

Also talking you know it’s dude people watch freaking sports stats they watch people talk about sports stats and I even watch the sport people talking about it people make up their own fake teams in their heads and fake play them against other fake teams I me that’s just D and D I mean

That that’s straight up just D and D like if you think something’s too boring yeah exactly if you like the person doing it then it’s not then it’s interesting like imagine if Mark appli applied for freaking McDonald’s and then recorded an 8 hour long video of him at

A McDonald shift I bet you there are thousands of people that would have watched that from beginning to end so it’s like like you can monetize anything that’s the cool thing about YouTube and that’s what I don’t get about people leaving you know if the thing you’re doing on YouTube isn’t working there’s

Millions of other things you can do on this on this site millions of other things you do on the site like seatons yeah I I just don’t get it I’ve I’ve thought about it and I just will I don’t think I’ll ever get it I think it comes from a place of

Burnt of being burnt out and I just I just don’t get being burnt out I mean I get being exhausted but burnt out is a whole different thing burnt out is like where not only are you no longer even having um thoughts you know like creative thoughts about

Something but like you are not passionate about it at all and I just think there’s kind of no excuse for it I mean I get you know like mat Pat stuff like you have a family you need to put your family first that’s totally true

And if and if that’s like how M wants to do it that’s how he wants to do it as I’m wants to do it that’s how he wants to do it I just don’t understand losing the passion on YouTube because you can do anything if you’re losing the passion on

YouTube I kind of think it’s your own fault and maybe that’s a hot take maybe I’m totally wrong about this but it kind of feels like your own fault it’s a hot take yeah it probably is but like especially people that already have a following you know they’re making money and stuff they

Can do other things they may not make as much money sure but they can do other things no one is like forcing them to stay doing the thing that they’re doing it’s like Captain Sparkles he’s not doing Minecraft anymore he’s doing his last playthrough and then he’s done he’s

Not going to be doing Minecraft anymore and yeah he’s going to have a drop in viewership for sure he’s going to lose subscribers permanently but he is doing it because he has no more passion for that specific project the team fourstar and they’re a Bridge series of of Dragon Ball Z I

Don’t even know if it’s that they don’t have enough passion for the next project it was just that it’s too hard to do it so they don’t and they do a bunch of other stuff now a lot of it is Dragon Ball Z related but I don’t know yeah but who

Cares you know like like bottom line is there would be no Community without them so and why would the community want them to be miserable because you can’t help yourself from being miserable I bet you if I did Minecraft videos for a whole year I would be the most miserable person on the

Planet I would not be happy and that’s just how it would Be that’s also where like people start feeling like it’s just a job like going and doing this is just a job so Ione play Terraria for a whole year damn but like think about it like that that mentality of like oh it’s just a

Job I’m just you know I just need to get it done that comes from that that place of just like total misery in what you’re doing what up get a lot of people on here well I’m just I don’t know it’s just something I just don’t understand and maybe I will understand eventually

But and it just it just didn’t make any sense to me uh that one of the one of the things is like well the schedule doesn’t work and I kind of get that I guess hello I’m doing I’m doing fine I’m just ranting about people leaving YouTube I

Guess I I don’t want to rant about it like it it I get it I totally get it I just think honest in all honesty I think that um at least one of the people that I’ve announced they’re leaving YouTube will probably return they may not return in this like to do

The same thing that they were doing but I think they’re going to be back I it just doesn’t make any sense I I’m just in denial I don’t know I’m just afraid that a YouTuber that I really care about is going like a YouTubers that I really care about are

Going to just like throw it in matat won’t go but he will appear sometimes yeah I think mtat will just be like you know a cameo or two probably whenever the next FNAF game drops he he’s probably going to be the one that plays it you know uh and that’ll be that but

Um like the the whole map thing I think makes the most sense like his is actually like a job he has to do research he has to do all this other stuff uh they have to have meetings about the videos that they’re making you know I

Mean his is like legitimately a job I totally understand where he’s coming from I just don’t understand where some other some of the other ones are coming from it’s like complain about the schedule and I get like if you’re playing with your friends like you don’t really get to control the schedule

Right but you can you can totally control the schedule yeah that’s another thing like when that’s your job and you’re try to make it entertaining so you have to come up with like wild theories and stuff and try to connect them all uh and that’s

Like just what you do dude that would be nuts I couldn’t even like I do that with books like when I count the stories I’ll stay awake at night thinking about stuff um but it’s but it’s not to like the extent of extent of like trying to figure out somebody else’s project is

Just trying to figure out my own Project I also think that um uh the Vanos crew isn’t doing itself any favors by uh everyone like how it works now you know and I think that one one of the biggest things that like why Mo left is because U it’s been 2 hours 30

Minutes damn yeah I need to get off uh but I think that was one of the biggest reasons why Mo left was the scheduling like he just never knew when he was going to be working or not and that sucks I’ve had schedule like that from actual

Jobs I say actual jobs I mean like you know from like employment jobs um where you don’t know what your schedule is going to be that week until like Saturday the day before the week starts like I’ve had recently jobs like that and you don’t plan anything

Everything sucks and uh you get into like this weird rut in your mind cuz you can’t hang out with friends you can’t really go out and eat you can’t really do anything and you’re not getting paid enough you know to really make it worthwhile but but in a job where you

Got to pick your own hours I mean moo definitely has the Charisma if he lets himself do it he definitely has the Charisma to carry a solo let’s play or a solo anything there’s also a bunch of other like Crews that he can play with and he

Has so it’s like all he needs to like all he needed to do or all he needs to do I guess and is probably what he’s going to have to do now that he has he’s going to have an actual full-time job outside of YouTube is you set hours like

This is what I’m going to stream I’m going to try to make it work with everybody else but if no one else shows up I’m just going to I’m just going to record something or I’m just going to stream or whatever um I mean that’s what I kind of

Do you know and if I don’t feel like doing it that day I don’t do it that day but that’s most because I don’t make any money on it so it’s not a huge deal but like that like you you just needed to do that that way it’s not a huge deal if

You have to miss a you know the group playing together it’s not a huge deal uh with the scheduling issues because you have a bunch of videos on your backlog that you can just pump out content and it doesn’t have to be the best best content in the

Twitch but what he does is he picks games generally horror games but it could be any game and he does the most outlandish challenge possible so he’ll pick like like last Outlast for instance and he’ll put Perma death on and then he won’t research or even

Attempt playing it before and just go in blind almost and then just play the whole thing like that what’s his name oh let me tell you I should definitely should definitely plug a he is so funny his name is swich so s n a m w i c h e

S and he does freaking hilarious challenges like he’ll do Dead Space 3 but if he dies he has to restart the whole game and of course you have some kind of personality cuz I would lose my freaking mind I I won’t even play perade death on

Like Last of Us you know cuz that game is long as [ __ ] and I would probably cry if I died like even two hours in you know cuz it’s just like oh my gosh that would be a really fun thing to do though excuse me oh because of that okay makes

Sense he is really funny and I mean he only posted like a video like the recent most recent video is 5 days ago the video before that I think it’s four weeks ago let’s see yeah he was like one video a month almost yeah exactly he just says crazy

Achievements and you post a video like a month one video a month of course he has twitch and he goes and streams his attempts which would be awesome I would love to do something like that I thought about doing some of the challenges that he did uh just cuz they’re really freaking

Funny I mean people love to see other people rage people love to see other people get scared people love to see other people react just in general so like if you think you can’t do it by yourself you definitely can and if you can’t do what I do just stream

It because if one person’s in the chat it’s eight times more entertaining and you will stream much longer I did do multi I did do Portal 2 multiplayer mode I don’t think I streamed it though I have it on the switch me and my wife might do that one

Day now that she’s getting more into video games me and my wife actually might start doing last place together thinking about it I’m like that makes a lot of sense actually makes hell of a lot of sense I don’t know why I haven’t done that probably
