Hello guys i’m cloud turtles and this is a create mod tutorial on how to use the redstone link if you want to see other create mod content make sure to check out my other videos and subscribe if you really enjoy them so the redstone link is basically wireless redstone in minecraft This is a super powerful tool to use and i definitely recommend mastering it so this is a perfect example of the use case of a redstone link as you can see there’s a wall or a space in between where you’re inputting and you want to output your redstone signal to turn on this Light so what you do here is you put the redstone link right here at the input and where you want to output it and if you turn this lever on nothing’s going to happen so many people get stuck here but both of these are in the emitter state If you want the redstone signal to travel between them you need to have one in the emitter state and the receiver state so how you turn the one you want to be a receiver into a receiver is you can right click it right click on it with a wrench Or you can right click it shift it with an empty hand so while this is working right here i definitely do not recommend doing this i recommend using the frequencies which are on the redstone links so frequencies are basically like a radio signal level uh or a value that If they match the redstone signal will go in between them so in this case you can use blocks and items to be the frequency of redstone links so this allows it to not get confusing with tons and tons of redstone links and make sure your signals don’t cross As you can see it works now i’m going to go into the nitty gritty stuff about the redstone link so you can use any block or item for the frequencies as long as they match they can even be the same as you see here so the rest of link can also be just Used as a pulse so if i hit a button it turns on and off or it can be a constant signal you can leave it on and of course the blocks don’t have to be the same our items need to be the same and also you don’t always have to use Two items or blocks you can also just use one and the great thing about the redstone link is the distance that it can go like there’s no redstone in between any of this but that’s like over 30 blocks and it’s still powering it it’s a very powerful component And here’s an example it powers all the sides and it can power both redstone and repeaters and below it above it to the side as you can see it’s very powerful and here’s another important thing is one emitter can power two receivers as long as they all match One emitter can power two receivers and the same applies here with two emitters can power one receiver so hopefully this video was helpful subscribe if you want to see more redstone videos and let me know if there’s any more create videos that you guys want to see Video Information
