Hey what is up guys welcome back to another minecraft rtx video today we’re going to be taking a look at another minecraft rtx ray tracing texture shader pack and for this one i’ve actually gone ahead and extracted the resource files from an nvidia created world and i’ve converted it into a mcpac file Which allows us to enable the ray tracing slider in the video options and in return we can enjoy all the rtx elements in a survival world or any world you decide to create so let me just quickly show you what i mean by that if we go to Settings and then video by default if you scroll down you’ll notice that the ray tracing slider is actually grayed out so you can’t actually select upscaling or ray tracing and the only way to enable ray tracing is to download a rtx compatible world from the marketplace so let me just show You that as well if we go to the marketplace and if i just search for nvidia as you can see all of these worlds have the geforce rtx logo on them and if you download them and play them it will then enable the ray tracing slider for you And then you can enjoy the rtx elements and see what ray tracing in minecraft actually looks like however for those of you who want to play a normal survival world with ray tracing enabled you won’t be able to do that so what i’ve done is i’ve taken one of these worlds And i’ve extracted the resource files and compiled it into a shader pack type file which is mc pack file and we can install it and as you can see right now in the game we have the ray tracing enabled let me just set the time today As you guys can see we do have the shadows there and obviously we’ve got all the good stuff from the ray tracing rtx elements in here and the good thing about this pack is that it’s closest to the vanilla artix experience that you can get because this is straight from the Nvidia’s world so there’s no editing or any sort of file manipulation it’s all coming straight from nvidia and i take no credit for this it’s just a repack of the nvidia resource pack files and now we can actually enjoy rtx as you can see we’ve actually got the fog there the distance We’ve got the sun’s rays coming in and then we’ve got the shadows as well as you guys can see there if we have a look at the water graphics as well you can see the sun’s reflection there on the water and as i move out of frame the Reflection disappears as well which is part of the ray tracing capabilities that we can see now as you can see there so what i’m going to do i’m going to show you guys a bit more of the gameplay and then i’m going to show you how to download and install this Into your minecraft game and then this will allow you to enable and keep the ray tracing slider ticked and enabled for basically as long as you want and then you can create your own survival or creative world whatever you decide as you can see we’ve got the the shadows That i really do like the vanilla look as well because it’s like the default minecraft game but with the shadows and reflections as you can see we’ve got the sun’s rays coming in through the window that you can see the sun’s rays sent on the ground there through the window it’s really cool I do like that effect as well let’s change the time to sunset as you can see the sun is now coming from the other side and it’s coming in through the door there we can close the door and if we open it it should get the sun coming in there looks really nice And if you can see through the gap there you can see the sun’s rays and those are the fog effects that are happening as well we change it to night time you can see the glows they’re coming off the yet torches as well let me just select a lantern here As you can see the lantern is giving off light another cool effect from the ray tracing you can see that from distance there let’s go to a bit more darker place as you can see we do have the glows there coming off the lantern it’s really cool effect and this is all Part of the vanilla minecraft experience that nvidia has given us and now i’m going to show you guys how to download this pack and how to install it into the game and it’s really easy and by the end of it you should be able to enable the rtx texture shaders in the game And play a survival world or any type of world that you create with ray tracing turned on all right so the first thing you need to do is if you open up your internet browser and what i’ve done is i’ve actually uploaded this file uh onto my blog so just start typing in Gamer potion and just click on the link which says gameproportion.blogspot that is my blog url and if you click on the minecraft tab and look for where it says rtx ray tracing resource packs open up that link and don’t worry guys i will leave a link in the description to this page So you don’t have to go around searching for it and if you scroll down i’ll have a few screenshots here so you can have a look and if you scroll down here to where it says download and it’s a media file link so i have uploaded this to media file because that Is quite a quick download so just click on download and it should start downloading a mcpag file as you can see there just wait for that to finish all right so i’ve finished downloading that file and i’ve placed it on the desktop and it’s really small it’s only three megabytes Size and to install these shader packs it’s really easy all you need to do is just double click on the mcpag file and what will happen is that it will open up your minecraft game and it will give you a message that says it’s importing it and then It’s going to say import was successful so let’s go ahead and open up this file let’s wait for that to load up the game and as you can see it says import started on the top there and now it says successfully imported rtx ray tracing resource pack now the next thing you Need to do is if you click on settings scroll all the way down to where it says global resources and then click on my packs and you’ll see this new pack which we’ve just installed this is the rtx ray tracing resource pack version 1.00 so if you just click on this Click on activate and if you look at the active section it should show up on there and it will have the default minecraft texture pack there and it will also say rtx ray tracing resource pack on there now if we go back it will load the resource pack into the Game now if you click on settings and click on video scroll down you should see the ray tracing slider has been turned on and then you can actually increase or decrease the ray tracing render distance as well depending on how powerful your graphics card is now do bear in mind That you do need a rtx compatible graphics card for this ray tracing slider to be turned on and enjoy the ray tracing elements in the game and you also need a full version of minecraft for windows 10 aka minecraft bedrock okay so let’s click on play Let’s go and create new gonna create a new basic world survival normal world let’s go ahead and create that and let’s see how it looks and as you can see it’s loaded us into the game and we have the reflections then the water looks really nice As you can see there we’ve got all the reflections coming down there and if you were to play one of the individual worlds this is what the vanilla experience would be like so essentially it’s the normal game but with shadows and reflections so if you are looking for a pure vanilla Experience i think this pack would suit you quite well as you can see we’ve got the sun’s rays there in the water we go down you can see the sun’s rays are coming in there as well looks nice let’s have a look at another world let’s go to this one which is gendry’s Tavern as you can see we’ve got the glows there from the torches looks quite nice at night time let’s turn on the daytime as you can see this world looks really nice as well you can see the sun’s rays coming in down the fields so yeah if you guys enjoyed this video Please do give us a like if you have any comments or queries about this pack or anything rtx related to minecraft bedrock aka minecraft for windows 10 just leave it in the comment section below and also do leave a In this video we take a look at one of the Minecraft for Windows 10 RTX shaders called RTX Ray Tracing Resource Pack which is a pure vanilla based Shader texture pack. I will show you how to download, install and play Minecraft RTX with Ray tracing enabled so you can create your own RTX survival world using this windows 10 shaders pack. This resource pack is extracted from a NVIDIA world and compiled so I take no credit for this file.
Always make sure you own the full version of Minecraft for Windows 10 account and own a RTX compatible graphics card (RTX 2060 or higher). If you have these 2 things, then after importing this shader pack into the game you will have the ray tracing slider enabled in the video settings and can enjoy all the Minecraft rtx elements of the game.
