Hello there everybody my name is Hunter yes Hunter no and welcome to the first episode of what is going to be a brand new playthrough today we are playing Terraria and let me tell you I’ve never played this game before this is my first time ever doing a proper playthrough of This game I’ve picked up the game in the past you know 10 minutes or so here and there on a friend’s PlayStation or something but I have never properly sat down and played this game so today I’m joined by Avery and later on and they were they were super helpful Super willing to uh to explain you know get me into the game and this turned out to be a ton of fun I mean it’s terrari you know you know it you love it and if you do love it and you’re here you might as well subscribe we’re going to be Doing we’re going to be doing more of this I’m going to be playing all the way through this game I think we’re just going to try in 100% the game I don’t know what all that entails but I think it’s going to be a lot of fun and I hope You do too so let’s get straight into it my very first playthrough of Terraria in the year 2020 4 go classic classic okay all right oh I need to name this guy let’s name him Hunter yes Hunter no I can go the full length let’s go baby Hunter yes Hunter No okay we’ll go with corruption and then the world name shall be oh 3.7 no no no the flim def the flimer the flimer I don’t know what the actual Cannon spelling for this machine is called so we’re just going to go with that the flishing Theer we’re in buddy okay so you have two different types of cursors right off the bat Hunter Hunter how do I kill this thing ah you suck sorry okay to start you see that guy over there to the right yes kill him no that is the guide he is our first NPC what he does is if you talk to him and show him any material or object you have in your inventory he’ll show you what you can make out of it okay but let’s go mining I found I found some rocket do oh wait it’s iron Ore okay so what the if you press oh what’s the button is it if you press Escape you can open up your crafting inventory and menu you see that I mean I see something I’m not sure how to craft yet but I see there’s plenty of stuff in My screen over at the middle left do you see crafting middle left oh crafting button that’s what that was yes I did see that sorry first thing to always make is a workbench which I’m going to put on the ground here crafting table workbench basically you don’t have to Click on it or anything but as long as you open up your menu near that it’ll bring up all the available stuff oh indeed and then do you see the little Hammer icon with the nine dots click that to pull open all of these options Nice I killed the bug to get more NPCs you have to build houses which a house has only a few specific things it needs at least one door enclosed on all sides light source a table chair and walls okay sounds like a lot but it’s pretty simple to get more NPCs we just Have to make more houses but before we do that do you want to go explore yes let’s explore I want to find a I what should I be finding what what are we looking I don’t know okay so this is something called a living wood tree It’s a big tree that has a little Cavern that goes down underground but right click on the chest open right click right click okay we got a step stool uh we got a can of worms we got rope we got a small healing potion we Got a step tool can you do something for me hold the steps toool on your cursor in your menu okay then over on the right side kind of lower right do you see the accessory slots they have a little silver circle next to them oh okay yeah Put the step stool in one of those slots that’s an equipable so to go down through platforms oh there’s gnomes watch out don’t let them come out into the sun there we go hunter I am actually very surprised Gomes are insanely rare in this game oh cool but now that They’re turned to stone if we place them near our base they give us a bonus buff okay what’s in the chest more pots an annoying umbrella that looks equipable and some more wooden coins I don’t believe the umbrella is equipable but if you’re holding it in your hand while You’re falling it does make you fall slow I’m merry Poppins y’all good reference okay so this is the desert that’s a vulture kill it vultures are probably the first bad enemy in the desert ha power the St compels you oh and then I don’t know if this is the Default button but if you press h it’s a quick heal nice okay there are zombies coming those are zombies just run to the left never mind there’s zombies that way too Hunter I’m not going to lie to you we’re going to die we’re going to dig let’s go on and blazing Glory I’m going to dig I’m going to make it out of this I’m going to make this out of I didn’t make it out of that okay how do we make a daytime we can’t make a daytime uh you don’t however we’re fine see I’m really really Good I do have a present for you oh okay I like what the fudge Cactus sword get him oh okay okay so if the desert biome is to the left that means there’s a good chance that the snow biome is to the right o I like snow biome well I mean Hey I found a star yes so at the top right do you see the blue star in the corner of your screen yes that is your Mana okay you use Mana to use magical weapons which if you collect enough falling stars you can permanently upgrade your Mana nice nice Nice oh hey there’s some floaty eyeball dudes yeah that’s that that’s the uh that’s the main character of the game the floaty eyeball guy everyone knows that guy just you wait I killed the little floaty eyeball guy which is really good no I have made a severe Mistake you almost blew me up I scrolled too far and pressed the wrong button why is my sword stoping cuz my mouse died oh no you’re all right parkour get back to the house get back to the house and get inside uh what was that button okay the H is the auto heal Button where’s my mouse where is my mouse get inside the house Hunter H where’s my house help me I don’t want to go in the house you are safe in the house seriously why is my mous not reloading this is ridiculous it builds a wall I’m fine I Got it I got it I got it I got it thank you I’m fine by the way go down into the tree trunk usually there’s good items do I just like press down to go down mhm to drop through platforms it’s down be a bit careful going on the sides though Cuz there is fall damage uh few Furious Finch Staff Hunter you got a Summoner weapon POG question put it in your hot bar and activate it and it’ll summon a finch to fight for you okay like will it just stay on if I summon it now yeah once you summon it it Stays until you die I got a bird I am it doesn’t do a ton of damage but it does it does help go my murder bird and do murders oh my murder bird I truly am Mary Poppins I have a murder bird and I can fly let’s go okay coming murder bird Thank you o there’s more chests up here and I got angry climbing claws Hunter equip the climbing claws okay cool okay I’m going to break this jump against the wall and hold against the wall oh okay ah oh you can now wall jump I’m Mario baby I’m op I’m op climbing claws Are really good also do you want to see how good this first uh Mage weapon is yes but but this feels nice this is this is I I I I get the hype now you know now that I can actually sit down play it for myself I’m not just playing on my Buddy’s PS v that’s fair but hunter keep in mind the best part about this game is the boss fights hey look our money yeah the money stays nice okay so now we haven’t lost anything so surprised you found Finch staff that’s also another rare job well you’re Welcome I’m in case we find enough to make Cactus armor I just watching my murder bird go out and do murders this is fantastic eat crap and die it’s a jungle bat my murder bird killed him let’s go die heal he I just realized I’m low Sorry thank you thank you heck you might like Summoner class literally all you do is try and while their stuff kills it for you oh I always love that in games are there bees in this game uh there is there is actually bee armors and Bee summon let’s Go is that a beehive it is if you attack it it’ll drop bees which attack you they don’t do a lot but they’re annoying can I befriend them not yet oh where did we just end up uh we are in the first evil biome this is the corruption don’t fall in the Chasm it is very deep you will die and that is the main enemy of them oh you’re freaky what are they called Eater of souls please go away sir I don’t like your face you’re going to appear in my FL around and then charge you no we shouldn’t have G out this far This early no this is the best kind of time to go out this far yeah do not fall down you will die POG good thing I’m Marry Poppins uh oh Avery uh bye yay Avery I landed in water Oh no you’re alone down there no I’m not I have my murder bird I Cannot get out you the BL potion in your inventory uhoh uhoh uh this stone is way too hard to break oh yeah yeah I’m dead you have to have an upgraded pickax oh okay wait wait I’m out of that area go murder bird I okay Avery I don’t Know if I should be happy or really really scared of the fact that I’m doing really well down here just because of murderd Hunter I got an inner tube nice now we can I don’t know maybe you can come find me or something please help I’m scared Hunter just teleport back Home you can teleport the blue potion in your inventory is a recall potion it teleports you back to spawn recall goes back home ah that makes sense you know I kind of should have figured that out already um but counter point I have rope wow my inventory is incredibly full Right now I have rope that was a scary noise I just heard where is my rope I had a lot of it too where is it oh no I literally can’t see it I’m fairly confused about this to be honest I know I had a bunch rope from those uh Woods That we went down just teleport home no this is too much fun I’m surviving I’m thriving I’m in my elephant unbothered unaware whatever these freaking nightmare silverfish in the sky are they don’t bother me I have my murder bird to protect me oh dear s that a good corn dog a it finally Happened I was mated massacr M Master our house is a toos now oh I left in the zombies oh I’m such a nugget oh I’m such a donut why hey get out of my hunter I’ve made this house like that so you wouldn’t have to do that oh I see that now so Sorry just make a bow and shoot down where’s my murder bird oh when you die you have to resummon you have to resummon when you died okay wait I did have rope I just found my rope a real I was so muted crap so I’m putting all our crafting stuff up Here there is that what is that furnace if you craft near it it lets you smelt words oh into bars and then the Anvil lets you use those bars to craft okay okay Hunter I’m going to make something for you as a present do you Have a tutu on no it’s a inner tube oh even worse okay okay here’s this whoa here’s this whoa and here’s this okay and I already see where those go on the inventory screen here a lot of armors have a set bonus where if you wear all parts of it It gives you an additional bonus ah the cactus one gives you Thorns nice um I actually liked my normal character but now I’m a green ax lottle with a murder bird let’s go I mean you’re better off than me I like you said I look like I Got a tutu we desperately need more NPCs cuz they sell us stuff and get us better items okay I’m going to make another small house real quick uh how do how do you do that how do you make so that’s just like wood from yeah this is just Wood okay so if I just go and get regular wood I could do the same I’m just sort of I’m I’m learning oh immediate we already got the merchant where is he he’s over here I so he sells you pretty good stuff at decently cheap and you can sell stuff Back to him here wait okay I I’m going to I’m going to build how do you build to build just hold the material in your hand and left click with it so like yeah I’m just going to do what you’re doing here okay here do you want Me to fill in the rest no I’m going to do this myself I a big boy got it there you go and then the very last thing you need is just source of Lights he the housing query to check this housing is suitable heck good job buddy I did it You made your first house I made a house let’s go we also got another NPC while you were doing that demolitionist he sells boom boom nice I like a boom boom I guess what’s next you know what what do we what do we uh let’s explore to the Right side I don’t know if we’ve gone that way yet uh not very far we just reached that desert on the other side I’m a caot c cotle sure I look for an aelott that’s what like like the this this this Cactus armor makes like an aelott it’s kind of Bugging me face the my birds at the hand of my murder bird D you melt I can float oh that’s sick oh inner tube Supremacy just we’re on a Terraria if you want to join us Hunter there’s a mine cart track right click on the mine cart track to Get in mine cart oh nice this is fun are we going to crash and die no will defend you me and my murder bird will make sure you we found our first Dead Man’s Chest it’s this game’s equivalent of a trapped Chest nice just are you in yet I’m on but I’m eating ice cream you can invite me whenever so hun not really that bad what did you get expert’s fine the rest you can fart fly got a I got a blizzard in a bottle oh blizzard in a bottle but Tristan is Right one of the items that gives you a double jump is called fart in a jar yeah I hate that no no no Hunter Hunter Hunter don’t come over here for for a second I want you to go over there far to the right ah there we go okay Hunter I will See you back at home good luck what why what the heck my guy just exploded if you can use ropes or something to get up to the chest there’s usually really good loot so Tristan where are you I’m making my character oh gotcha oh yeah there’s some Fair stuff Here uh there’s a Dead Man sweater and a a Brisk band of regeneration both of those are pretty good the Dead Man sweater I’m pretty sure is just for cosmetic he oh I found a bunch of iron I need like a bunch of iron all right give me the oh I got Crushed by a boulder what the fudge there big big Smurf beig Smurf he’s a big Smurf way have you guys gone uh we’ve gone a little bit both directions but on the left but we went a decent way on the right and just went down into a Cave I’m going this way there so I guess um what’s the what are we doing right now you know what what’s our goal here we we’ve got a base our goal is to kill the first boss okay how do we do that uh get loot get stronger okay first boss Will span spawn at random in within the first few um days or we can spawn it manually yeah okay okay do we have the materials to spawn it manually or is that something we would have to grind for you have to find it in Dungeon chests we almost have enough materials To make it or like like J said we can find it in dungeon chest too I died and turned around fair enough all this is the direction we’ve explored less sub so I was already going to go this way so yeah oh another evil biome oh yeah this is corrupted desert Huh ah these things I’ve had enough of you no that works yeah do rope do it fast think I saw one of those oh I’m inside your personal space I love how it’s called The Annoying umbrella and yet this has been the most useful thing to my entire Journey so far that’s only if you try to use it to Attack yeah it’s a modifier Avery invented gravity the death messages in this game are so good oh they’re so good so something funny about Terraria I played through it probably like five or six times like completely end to end okay and Calamity um uh I never really did any of the like Grindy progression stuff all of my friends who are way better at this game than me uh did it for me so this is also Tristan’s first time properly playing the game it kind of it kind of is no worries we’ll learn together other than the fact that you know so much well Like I know what things are and I know what things want what I just don’t know how to get those things so you’re saying I shouldn’t into this dungeon going dungeon there’s an old man here this game’s too easy Master cannot be summoned Discovering a bunch of crap the elevator is literally a 2X two that you just dick we’re go right here so PL okay so what we do so come in this hole with me you’re going to mine the right block I’m there below us I do see that try to make it down here safely I have umbrella right break that heart musroom break it with a Pickaxe oh and then use it uh yay wait just me you guys don’t get one just you no oh but that is how you permanently upgrade your health okay that’s pretty sick then there was more I saw up to but I don’t know how to get Back up cuz I’m out of rope what up boys trist there’s set I am gradually just sending down this elevator using the power of Mary Poppins Hunter there is more iron here up at the top there is yeah if you go down the First living wood shaft it’s right doo doo doo doo doo dude I got that too check it out what the let’s Go so there’s probably not enough time in this specific night to fight the boss right yeah probably have to wait for the next cycle probably not I got two of his summon things though hey me too so we got a few CH to hand me Those you guys ready no but I mean why not I have a murder bird nothing can go wrong okay it’s technically not night yet I think once the NBC sit down that means it’s night time you can just click to summon it at any time oh there we go well they all Sat down are you guys ready yep ready here we go what is it watch the map Hunter watch the map oh it’s the eyeball I have cthulu it’s the eyeball from the box art yeah ah yeah this guy’s no big deal he’s about to hit phase two oh there’s a phase To oh he’s got a mouth now he’s going to n me oh yeah whatever yeah yeah no it’s it’s really not that big of deal you guys built it up I was like oh it’s going to be it’s going to be a boss F well dude on like expert and stuff That guy well fair enough really what yep we go again no we kill him a bunch of times there’s two people actually getting up close and fighting him and then there’s me in an in tube sniping him with a musket nice oh don’t die don’t die I’m not going to I’m not going To that’s all I got yeah me too all right while we killed him four times we’ve got Demonite or who’s got Demonite Ore I’ve got 153 of it I’ve got 76 I got 55 oh wow did I hand it to Avery or me make it into Demonite bars here’s what I’ll just do there we go someone grab that that works Okay Video Information
