Wrong oh okay so I’m very glad to say that I am past we are past the halfway point all of us on this build project and that things are progressing nicely I am even more pleased to say that I think I have firmly decided that on Starbound I’m going to try to test

The limit itations of world height to see what the uh largest Siz minger square is that can be built on a Starbound world now that won’t take very long that that might probably be a day task once I start building it maybe two days task but

Obsidian how much obsidian do I have well considering obsidian is one of those renewable resources on This Server uh I I have sat and made Shuler after Shuler after Shuler of obsidian in preparation for some future projects I even had an obsidian pouring machine for a while um it doesn’t like

To work on servers it works in single player nicely but it doesn’t really work all that well on servers but I was making do and I’m I’m trying to perfect it but uh you need enough to make 832 beacons that’s what 2500 obsidian that’s a lot of glass too there’s not

Much glass on This Server very few deserts but let’s see here PB or no PV uh Home Warehouse let’s see here obsidian is on the top floor in the back on the right let’s see here each one of these shulkers contains 1,728 obsidian you need 2500 so that would be 3500 obsidian right

Here trade cuff there you go 3,500 is uh obsidian yeah it’s it’s it’s server optimization that that causes it oh I don’t need anything for that uh I I liter Lally made a machine so that I could just manually stand there and automatically grind it while like

Watching movies I would I would have my uh game up and just I would hold the button and here it is and it would do its little kachunk kachunk thing and every one of these Cycles is four yeah four obsidian and because it was technically World

Generated uh and because I have uh over level 100 mining that’s eight obsidian and sometimes I would also activate super breaker and so that would be 12 obsidian per row so yeah obsidian easy actually I need to work on making a place for the uh Grinders lots of goodies

Ooh uh I need to make a uh uh bass salt fabricator as well but that’s pretty easy and with a bass salt maker I don’t even have to worry about uh anything uh falling into the lava because I can just push it up and out of

The way and then break it away from the lava a pick on Discord okay let’s take a look e ooh fancy stuff gerbs you know gerbs it’s like work Js I don’t really have a huge use for beacons I mean other than obviously my hat but beyond

End of the stream then I don’t need to make the 10th Shuler so I’m just kind of letting it float for a while then if it gets toward the end of the stream and they’ve not come on that’s not too much of a hassle to make a a single extra shulker worth

Okay so this is that one two three yeah it’s uh six until the big hole Yeah that layer up there that one’s going to be the most frustrating of when I get around to it when I get past all these and I get up to there I’m going to have to consciously pay

Attention so that I don’t leave empty spaces where there are meant to be coverings and also on that layer it’s going to get very mob spawny all of a sudden oh yeah um well I can’t look at it from here basically uh this layer here that gets put up over the empty

Spaces gets lit from above so like this layer down there is lit from torches on this layer so this one will get lit from torches about let’s see here one two three four four up so I have a few way a few blocks to go before I

Can a few layers of blocks to go I should say before I can actually put the Torches in but as I’m going most of the way the light is enough cuz there’s there’s light right there and that’s enough to maybe keep some of this illuminated but there’s no torches here

In the middle for instance and so if I cover this up it’s going to be all dark until I can come in above it and place those torches but one of the things I try to do for my builds is make them completely mob proof that way people can visit in

Safety well relative safety I mean I can’t force people not to jump off the edge I’m resting my hand weird on the oh cuz I’m sitting at a funny angle there we go my wrist was starting to yell at me that went right over his shoulder goodbye hello kny Dolphins can be

Uh the hard part for me is keeping in mind where all of the notes are especially on the entirely unmarked cello necks but uh if I could pick up another instrument and start uh playing it it would definitely be the hery Gertie I love the sound that it

Makes I I love the possibilities of uh different Arrangements you can do with the notes and the hery Gertie is effectively someone took the principles of a a collection of violins and married it to a an accordion and the sound it makes is it it is astounding because it’s like having

Several violins that are almost tuned perfectly with each other but not quite that way you can hear just the subtle differences between the strings and you can do stuff with it because of the way it’s it’s designed mechanically that you just can’t do with normal string instruments and the sound that comes out

Of it is is just it’s It’s haunting I love it uh there there’s a whole channel of uh hearty Gertie music that I uh have saved on my uh favorites on YouTube and also there’s a band that uses hery Gertie as one of its primary instruments

That I I listen to a lot of the time alova not for everyone sort of like death metal plus galic folk do I have a level 30 bookcase that you can enchant your trient uh actually if you go to spawn and walk straight ahead down this Path there is a level 30 enchanting right here 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 each one gives two layers or levels I mean there’s probably some in these Corners too but yeah this is a full level 30 enchanting

That the alliance are just going to be more aggressive that’s my hunch as it is almost all the major bad things that have happened to drive the story forward happened because of or through Alliance characters the Lich King was Alliance uh the dark portal opening was because of the uh Alliance Guardian uh

All all this the big bad stuff happened because of the alliance now it’s true that some of those things were caused more by the the galactic beings that are trying to uh Delete life on Azeroth but they were able to use Alliance characters as the conduit to be able

To uh to do that so either through nefarious reasons or because of just being easily manipulated almost all the big bad things happen because of the alliance but I also suspect uh based on talking to some people that the alliance are just generally more uh bigoted let’s say they don’t like the

Beast races all already they hate them they only tolerate that one kind of elvs give you the diamond thing uh what what which Diamond thing the diamond kit let’s see here oh I gave You I see we will just put all this stuff in here and I will set that aside for another kit gift yeah I could totally take a look at the drr starting zones sometime yes indeedy yeah I I enjoy the the the story arcs that have happened

Over time in the warcraft and World of Warcraft franchises um I I loved when world Warcraft came out how they dealt with durar and oramar and all that it it manifested a lot nicer looking than I anticipated it would have from the the previous lur and stories in just playing Warcraft

Hard pressed to find a mean soul on world Warcraft and it made uh partying up with people and and just meeting random people more uh fun and interesting and engaging than most other MMOs that I have played since um and in addition to the story and the uh amicable nature of the

Community it’s also just a wellp put together game there there’s so much going for it uh and they did try to make it as accessible as possible to uh even the worst computers and and everything they wanted people to be able to enjoy their game and and they were doing great for the

Longest time and then a few versions back some I guess controversy happened I will say controversy and just leave it vague like that and the community started becoming filled with let’s call them Bad actors and so I am glad that I have my private server and Wrath of the Lich King is

Best expansion and down however I would love to have access to all of the more modern quests and stuff and and be able to hop into a server and look at stuff uh from all angles to be able to build things that would be nice

But I I am absolutely afraid that if I were to get back into World of Warcraft that it would absorb all of my time because if I pay for a month of game time I feel obligated to spend as much of that month playing wow as possible it has happened

Several times in the past I’ve gone I I want to play WoW again and I would get a month of gain time and then I every waking moment of the day I would be grinding away trying to get all the Collectibles and and Advance the quests and do all the new content and

And it will make that area deeper so it’ll deform under the heaviest parts of the water and one of the effects of this can be like for instance if all the glaciers melt for instance and and the water rises and and we get uh ocean front property down in southern

Missouri suddenly all that new water pressure all that new weight pushing down could theoretically reactivate the new madid fault to being uh a more earthquake intensive Zone and then Missouri is going to be all earthquakes water can do some interesting things cuz water is heavy but on the subject of erosion that buckling

Servers including duck SMP which I was on and so I had to find somewhere else to call home when they made the announcement and so I moved over to This Server uh the reason why they shut down all the other servers recently is because they wanted to make room for a

Mega smp2 which has been in in limbo I guess uh since then the things that they wanted to do with it are either impossible or or unwieldy or whatever and so instead they opened up some other servers including a 1.20 server which is called candy so now there’s even more

New stuff not the same new stuff that they wanted but more new stuff but sadly it is utterly impossible to go back and you know get our old Sky Block islands and all that kind of stuff which is fine time moves on all that kind of stuff come on there we go

One block is actually pretty fun one one block even without fly one block is is pretty fun it’s uh you can get some some rotten uh timing but i’ like I like the uh the way one block Works um I I have seen vanilla one block and modded one block and

And it’s all it’s all good stuff uh I I have always been a fan of Sky Block Sky Factory all of those challenges I’ve always loved them as a matter of fact it was Sky Block that got me to join performium way back in at the end of 2016 oops so

Also um it it reduces the load for the way the plugins do checks and things and and I get it I understand it and I even agree with it but it does suck a bit that you can’t have you know 1,00 shops if you wanted and also they made it so that

Shops can only go one way people can only buy from you they can’t sell to you which was really disappointing to discover be nice if you could buy a sand oh that’s one of the things on on uh it wasn’t candy maybe it was candy um they were they were talking

About making a central shop where you could buy some of the harder to acquire things and that never really came to fruition would be nice if you could get sand on here I think you can get glass from Trading with a villager I don’t remember what villager is it the

Librarian why villager trades glass um I I need to know uh what villager it is the librarian okay one thing about this server and I also think same goes for the candy server is uh you can only do claims in the over world and the ne you can’t do claims in the end

Which if you could have done claims in the end I was absolutely going to try to do Sky Block in the end and just do Sky Block on the server in in fact it wouldn’t be unheard of for me to just try to do Sky Block on this very server

Because I could just go out somewhere and stake a claim clear out the chunk and just start an island up in the sky and and start doing Sky Block the only downside is uh there is no Cobblestone or stone generation you can generate obsidian you can generate um uh B salt you

Can uh generate let’s see here uh ice obviously uh what else I think I think that’s it as far as environmental generation that you can do uh and the reason for that is they wanted to prevent people making Cobble monsters and stuff like that also well founded reason sucks for us builders

It just means that I’m just going to pretend to be harvesting Cobblestone if I do Sky Block on This Server I’m going to pretend to be harvesting Cobblestone and do stuff with it manually it occurs to me I could just put the Sky Block next to this the actual proper Sky Block

Block cuz the one over on gold Road there’s no guarantee that I can have a slime chunk to properly do a a Sky Block we’ll see we’ll see there might be but that’s a future me project right now all the time that I spend on wild I want to be focusing on
