Playing Minecraft Alpha in 2023 well there’s a lot long story behind that and it involves me talking about most of my history playing the game so one day I went to school in way back in 2012 and my friend had this new game on his phone it was something

Different than pretty much any other game I had seen up to that point it was a blocky game with fun textures and funny animals and monsters that game was Minecraft Pocket Edition so like any kid that doesn’t have anything that I could play that game on I went home and looked

It up on YouTube and I discovered that a few of my favorite YouTubers at the time were already playing the game so I was content to just watch them play the game until I could get something to play it on myself during during that time the two YouTubers that I watched mostly kept

Mentioning this one other YouTuber his name was Etho I later decided to look his channel up too and over the course of the next few months I ended up getting caught up on his series his let’s play is structured a little different than most people’s let’s play the first hundred or so

Episodes are based in one world being an alpha world ever since full release 1.0 he’s been playing in a different world I always wondered what it would be like if he had never switched to playing to a new world but not having a computer or anything to recreate that myself I had to

Wait so in 2015 I did eventually get a tablet that I could at least play the game on and well things went about as well as you would expect there wasn’t too too much for me to do at the time and the same thing for when I finally got a laptop I

Just played the game like a normal person not playing Alpha in one point not playing Alpha in 2017 or whenever I got the laptop you see I didn’t realize that a lot of things were just missing out of the official Minecraft launcher including a bunch of old Alpha versions so I kind of

Put the idea of a world in an old version out of my mind and just played normal survival in 2019 I was getting bored of just playing Modern normal survival and I came up with an idea what if I joined a SMP server so I started

Looking up various s SMP servers one day and eventually found one that I really liked it was Oasis they were playing on 1.13 at the time because well that was the most recent version I had a lot of fun on the 1.13 map on Oasis mostly

Doing stuff for myself but hey the fact that somebody could see my builds got me a little bit more motivated to do them but eventually 1.4 and 1.15 came out and their map which had been on 1.13 was slowly becoming outdated so they decided they were going

To do another map reset the 1.16 map was a great success once they did finally update which saw a great increase in the number of of returning a new players to the server the only problem is that caused lag because all those people were building large builds and farms and all

Of that but that led to things being a struggle for the server operators because well they only had a certain computer that they could run the server on and that computer was kind of struggling with you know 50 or 60 people online at any given point compared to during the

1.13 map when they really only had no more than about 20 people on the server so during 2021 1.7 is about to come out and they announc that they’re going to have one new rule for 1.17 players can no longer build mob based Farms which was a big Devastation

To me because well half of what I do in the early game is build farms specifically automated ones if I can and well automated Farms are still mob Farms so but seeing that I could no longer build farms on Oasis I decided it would probably be a better thing for me to

Leave they had compromised in a few other areas regarding game play like not being able to use TNT or having teleportation out of convenience of course but not being able to build mob based Farms was the final big issue that convinc me to leave the server it’s a

Great server if you just want a casual SMP but I decided that I wanted something a little bigger than that something that big so I left Oasis and during the few months after that I planned on starting an alpha world in building this it’s a giant Dome of glass and you’ll be even

More surprised by what’s inside of it big surprise there’s nothing inside I got I feel like I’ve gotten used to the just absolute ginormous scale of this base so this is my base and yes the Dome is incomplete most of the Bas is actually incomplete but that’s part of what this series is

Going to be about me completing this base and then going off to build more bases so this block right here is where I spawned in the world I know I got it a little bit off center from the center of the circle or more specifically that block underneath that Cobble Stone is

Where I spawned and this section of the world was just a normal piece of the world there was a Sandy Beach and three hills one there one there and one over there I decided that I should you know just casually mine out the entire world down to

Bedrock that Circle of logs right there oak logs by modern definition was the circle that I laid out to plan this entire base off of it’s 101 blocks wide meaning that this whole hole is 99 blocks wide from wall to wall it took me something like 2 40ish hours to dig this

Hole over the span of like 4 months because cuz well I wasn’t really doing this as a full-time job or anything I still had other responsibilities this was the first house that I built on the very first night of course some of it’s changed throughout my time in this world over 300

Hours but the general shape is the same and of course this was my first base my first tree farm this thing and this is my the gate out to the Sandy area used to connect over there to that little Sandy area but now it’s um slightly dangerous so we’ll just take the stairs

All this used to be underground by the way and this staircase used to be the staircase down to my mine where I got all the Cobblestone that I built the log ring out of originally I’ve since replaced it with logs obviously but now you might be wondering there’s no way that he

Actually dug out this entire Hole by hand oh by the way these are invisible stairs it’s a lighting glitch I think and well I have the receipts a bunch of cobblestone among us every single one of these chests in this section this section these two sections these two

Sections these two sections are full of cobblestone plus a little section in the other end of the storage room this is one big Square so this section over here leads up to and connects to that one over there with the cactus in front of it I put up these Cactus to prevent

Large slimes from coming in when slimes were first added to the game this section’s also got some Cobblestone and this is the last of the Cobblestone from digging out the hole I estimate it was have something like close to 350,000 Cobblestone and this is where I keep

Most of my other stuff including fun stuff like records and plants in Redstone this little section is for all my wood which I’m slowly running out of got plenty of saplings though this section is for stuff you can dig with a shovel although I’m in short supply of

Sand seeing that I built a giant Dome out of glass I pretty much ran out of sand but don’t worry I’ll finish it pretty soon and this little section here is for all of my mob drops yep I collected a bunch of slime before they were removed from the game

Bet you didn’t know that slimes were added to the game removed from the game and then added later on this section over here isn’t another storage room it’s a mob farm more specifically two mob Farms this one was the first one I built and it does okay it’s fine I kind of

Messed up the design a little bit so it’s not quite as efficient as this next one this one is my favorite mob farm because constantly mobs here too many to handle both of these Farms have the same SP spes I just messed up the mob streams in that one now going back out

To the hole you might notice these Rivers this is also where a lot of my glass went eventually I’m going to dig tunnels throughout the world and have every base in the Overworld connected to this one via some sort of path well there’s one last thing I’d like to show

You but I have to go back up there so now that you know some of my story playing Minecraft and you’ve seen this crazy world you might wonder why am I doing this well my plan for this world is to eventually get to the point where I have 1.18 terrain under

All of this Alpha terrain of course updating the world and getting to that point is going to be the part that y’all likely all want to watch and along the way I need a lot of fun things to do and one of them is collecting things like these

This is an actual real spawner you can place it down and it’ll start spawning pigs as long as you have grass nearby and it’s surrounded by not just any furnaces these furnaces stay lit all the time if you place them down and don’t put any items in them that wooden

Pickaxe is the first pickaxe from this world and this iron one’s the first Iron one from this world in the version that I started this world in you could pick up spawners with nothing but a pickaxe just by mining them since I’ve updated you can’t do that anymore but there are

Many glitches that I’m going to mess around with and exploit to make more fun items like these there’s zero item stack spawners during the update that this was made possible I could have done this with any block but these are special for one reason you can’t place them you can’t

Stack them you have to to be really careful to just not even destroy them because well their stack item is zero instead of one like that one in that chest over there here’s my most recent exploit shall we say fishing rods 1,728 fishing rods in one chest you see

Fishing rods in these versions they don’t have any purpose their stack limit was set to 64 instead of one like the rest of the tools seeing that they don’t have a purpose yet which brings me to the purpose why do all this well there’s really three goals behind this world one

Explore in as many different versions as I can and have as much Unique Style terrain as possible in this world to build Crazy bases like this one and this won’t even be the final base that I built in this world this is just the first and three collect unique things

Centerpiece yeah oh how about a giant tree Within These chests is exactly 8,000 logs which I’m going to use to build this giant tree in the center of my base but first I have to build a little template just to understand the true scale of this tree it’s going to be

About 20 blocks wide centered around this column of cobblestone and glass and it’s going to be what the tree is based around that’s a big tree maybe I need to scale this down a Little so I’ve built a little bit of the first template ring and initially I thought I wanted to build this tree about 20 blocks around I’m not so sure about that now but I’ll come to a decision once I finish the ring and look at it from a few different angles I had

An issue where some of the video files got corrupted so I’m building a little miniature one to show you what I did the audio is fine so I’m just going to use the visuals from this video to give you an idea of what happened there I’m happy

With that doesn’t have to be exactly round because well trees aren’t always exactly round anyways there’s One and here are the others now I’m going to build one of the stumps sections and connect it to the ground now I’ve got to do that three more times there are three sides done now now I’ve just got to move my tree farm so I can build a big

Tree and now we have ourselves a completed stump now I have to build a series of rings to show the shape of the trunk as it moves up towards the old base which will become a tree House boy that’s a new one so here I’ve built two of these Rings used as templates for the trunk and I’ve decided I’m going to just build this section of the trunk first instead of continuing all the way up he one section filled in and now to do the

Second so I’ve completed those two sections and now I’m going to move up but first I made a tragic Discovery our invisible stairs are no longer invisible I knew the day would come but I didn’t think it would be so soon rest in peace invisible stairs there another section is complete

And now all I have to do is one last section of the trunk after that I’m going to have to start branching out and making well branches but first we got to finish the Trunk and now to build the crotch of the tree Yes you heard that right the crotch of a tree is where the trunk starts splitting off into a bunch of smaller Branches so I’ve laid out a series of templates for the general shape of each of the large branches some of them pointing upward some of them pointing outwards now I’ve got to connect it all together and make it look like it’s actually branches coming off the top of a

Trunk now that all the gaps are filled in I can start building each of the individual branches yep that looks like a branch now to build the rest of them there’s the second and third large branches now on to the fourth and fifth and there are branches four and five now

To move on to the vertical Branches The Fus gr Pacer test is a mult I’ve finished one of the vertical branches and it split off into three by the top now to do another One I am quickly running out of wood so I’m going to build a tree farm similar to that that one except a little bit bigger cuz well nine trees isn’t going to cut it when I’m building something this Big and now to plant a bunch of saplings and now back to building vertical Branches well I’ve completely run out of void so I’m going to build onto this tree farm and potentially build another so I heard a rumor that subscribing may help me figure out these corruption issues and now we wait and while we wait we might as well chop down the trees that have already

Grown Well after that I ended up getting a really bad case of the hiccups so I decided to just spend all of my time farming so I ended up going on a multi-day wood collecting binge and I collected another full double chest and a few more stacks of

Wood now back to building the last big branches now that all of the large branches are done it’s time to start building all the little smaller branches that’ll come off of each of these Yep those are starting to look like tree branches now that I have the little ones coming off of it now to continue building Them H great wow it actually looks like a tree now it’s been so long I didn’t know if this would actually pan out but apparently this is all I needed a bunch of random branches and now I have to build some more vertical branches to even out the

Horizontal and vertical ones way up there o wow how surprising round three fight Oh that one was on purpose burn bur burn That one was also on purpose now it’s time for operation add more branches that one was on accident [Laughter] oof Wow I I don’t know how to respond to that I’m still going to go watch him burn burn burn burn H and now with all the branches done it’s time to go collect some leaves but in order to do that we need to go make some

Shears so we’ll just take some of this iron and make huh okay uh it seems I’ve made a misguided plan after doing a little bit more research into shears I’ve learned that they aren’t introduced into the game until beta 1.7 which means I guess we’re just just stuck with

A giant dead Bush that I spent 12 and a half th000 logs building for now oops distraught disappointed demoralized our brilliant Hero has been defeated by his own ineptitude so concludes episode two logs O Plenty tune in next time to see if he can Vanquish his next foe the the Dome

Episode 3 enter the sandman so this is my giant dome but as you can see it’s not quite done yet it’s got to go up to there that’s because I’m almost entirely out of glass and pretty much completely out of sand now I could just mine up all of this sand right

Beside the dome but then I’d have a giant ugly hole beside my giant Dome so we’re going to have to get it from somewhere else now I’m sure you’ve read the title and you’re thinking why not just go to a desert there’s a minor problem with that deserts don’t exist

Yet fortunately I know a really good solution to that problem let’s just update the world goodbye lime green grass hello normal green grass and leaves this version is Minecraft Alpha 1.2.0 otherwise known as the Halloween update it introduces a bunch of cool features like the Nether tigas and our

Beloved deserts but all of this terrain is still just old terrain I’m going to have to go exploring to find this new terrain and for that I need to go collect some items wow this place looks weird now I was so used to the lime

Green first off we need a set of armor next we need a pickaxe we already have enough Cobblestone a few stacks of these logs we need some more torches but for that we’ll just bring coal that should be everything we need well it’s time to go we oh that was too [Applause] close

My journey would take me over Hills and through valleys hey this is where I started episode 1 in across Oceans and eventually I would have to stop to craft more torches and soon it got dark I’m going to have to hide soon engage temporary IDE and now we wait till sunrise well it’s time to be on our way before that creeper finds us I passed many sandy beaches on the way but I was determined I wanted to find a Desert and soon that determination would pay off ooh desert yes finally this what I wanted well I guess we’ll have to make ourselves a base pretty soon and now as the sun sets I must build a Base well time to start digging oh goodness you know what you can do the first honors if I can get to the BL without killing me that was too close good thing I have all this food see creepers are helpful in their own explosive murderous

Ways time to build a roof let’s hope 11 is enough for this nope it is not come here sheep I need your wool and then this happened oh goodness oh man I’m going to respawn all the way back at my main base oops maybe not My Brightest move I guess

I’ll just bring some of my lots of wool with me and on the way back I made a very bad decision uh-oh it’s getting dark guess I’m just going to have to make a Mad Dash for it this was a bad idea I should have just

Stopped oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh man uh-oh it’s getting dark I think I’ll do the responsible thing this time and build myself a hidey hole well see you in 10 minutes I wonder if my items Sur survived nope they didn’t well there’s

Plenty of sheep around I can still collect their wool just not at night this Time it turns out that eight bll was not enough to finish my roof so I went out and collected some more Wool and ended up with enough wool to finish my roof even if it’s not aesthetically complete time for S 1 hour later now that I’ve collected one chest worth of sand I’m going to go ahead and take this back to the main base but I’ll do that when it’s not night Outside Sunrise I’ll wait until the mobs burn then I’ll Leave Ooh lag that means we’re getting close to home oh I’ve never been so happy to see my lag inducing home before man feels great to know that you’re pushing this game to its limits well I’m a quarter of the way done now to do that three more times 3

Hours later I’ve cled Ed the last of the sand that I need and well it’s night so I’m going to wait till morning and then we’ll head home so we can start finishing the Dome time to go goodbye base through Plains snow sand and ocean finally ah Dome Sweet Dome coming soon with more glass and less lag hopefully extra Pockets very useful now that I’ve collected two double chests of sand it’s time to smelt it all into glass and

While that was smelting I decided to do some tasks around the base only for this to happen while I wasn’t recording a creeper got me well let’s see the damages huh so apparently dying just deletes your entire inventory in this version and with the discovery of that glitch I

Decided to update to this version and then this version which fixes the glitch where dying causes your entire inventory to be deleted and now to move some of the glass to the top of the Dome so we can finish building It I find building large D metric shapes very satisfying and if you’re wondering how I’m building this sphere so perfectly even if I do mess up occasionally I use a website orange. very useful you can do all kinds of stuff with this I’ll leave a link in the

Description and before I knew it layer 92 was complete and then 94 and then 96 and then 98 and now for the final layer and as the sun rises I feel a great sense of accomplishment all that’s left is to fill in the 100th layer then it’s done I have a giant door and it’s complete what a beautiful Sight first off what even is a cursed item by my definition a cursed item is an item that shouldn’t exist in the game in survival for example these spawners and these fishing rods now there’s a few different ways that an item can become cursed but in order order to understand that we need

To understand how items in Minecraft actually work every item in the game has a set of data values associated with it there are quite a few of them something like eight if I’m not mistaken but for the purposes of this video we only need to talk about three of them the first

And most important is the item id which is the value that determines what kind of item each item in the game has its own data value assigned to it for example stone is number one Cobblestone is number four Redstone Dust is 55 so on and so forth which introduces the first

Way an item can be cursed some items should not be obtainable in item form within a survival world for example these spawners are ID number 52 and they should not be obtainable within survival but they were in the very first version I played in this world and another

Example of item IDs that shouldn’t exist within a normal survival world or at least in item form are these furnaces these furnaces are Item ID number 62 AKA a lit furnace which means that when you place them down they’ll have particles coming off of them in the texture of a

Furnace that’s smelting something even though they wouldn’t be smelting anything second important data value associated with every single item is the stack size in other words this data value determines how many items are in a stack for example this stack of cobblestone has 37 cobblestone in it because the

Stack size data value is 37 and these are one and these torches are two but there’s a third data value the stack size limit that determines the maximum value that can be within the stack size data value that’s where an item like these fishing rods gain their cursed

Nature they are stacked all the way up to 64 even though their stack size limit value is set at one which means that these fishing rods are what I refer to as over stacked items or items whose stack size is larger than its stack size limit but the inverse is also possible

For example these spawners that I showed you earlier they’re underst stacked in other words their stack size value is zero rather than 1 through 64 like his average for a spawner meaning that if you would try to place these spawners they would just disappear in other words they’re essentially just fake items

Which leads us to today’s goal to create three more official entries like these for three unique items eggs the special f furnes I talked about earlier and actual real spawners let’s start off with the least assuming eggs are actually pretty interesting in these old versions most people know that they can

Only stack up to 16 in other words in modern versions their stack size limit is set at 16 but in older versions before they were given any functionality you could stack them up to 64 so my plan is to fill this entire chest with eggs much like I did did with these fishing

Rods and same for the furnaces and spawners but there’s a slight issue I can’t get any more of any of these items well I can for the eggs but collecting these 51 eggs has taken the better part of about 10 hours but for these last two

The only way that I’m going to ever get any more of them is by duplicating them and since it’s just for a display in a museum and they have very little use unique functionality aside from the spawner I feel that it’s an okay compromise well it seems I’ve just

Deleted those items let’s see if I can figure out another way to duplicate items a few minutes later fortunately Minecraft Alpha has quite a few glitches so I’m going to switch duplication methods but for that I’ll need a Nether Portal [Applause] Bam and now let’s go in and see what’s on the other side Spooky hm well I guess we’re going to have to do it up here then so let’s place down some chests basically what you do for this glitch is you put your items in the chest you come over to the nether portal back into it and open the chest and just leave it There and when you come into the nether itms will be there in the chest you just grab them then you exit the chest and then you go back through the portal And voila you’re back to this chest having duplicated your items now it’s time to do it with the real Items huh it sent me to the right portal this time Ta uh-oh so it turns out that I’ve accidentally misplaced the real spawner and well it’s one of these so I’m just going to have to guess probably either this one or this one but it also might be that one so we’re just going to have to duplicate them to figure out which

One is the real one well here goes nothing hopefully this works works Out oh I hope this works there it is that’s the real one these are fake that one’s real well let’s put these back now that we’re sure that they’re fake man I thought I had lost the only spawner that I had but nope that’s a relief now let’s go get

The other items and duplicate them all this spawner is fake and everything else is real now that I have this one fake Spawner in my hand I’ll prove to you that it’s fake watch this it disappeared Spooky There done with the eggs now back to the spawners and furnaces Now that I’m done duplicating the items it’s time to move them back up to the top of the Tree there now all we need are some signs to Mark what are in each of these Chests Thus concludes episode 4 enter the Eggman if you like this episode come back next time cuz I’m going to be collecting a bunch more Items so there’s five wait how many more of these do I have to find a lot of boring math later 141 I thought there was like 70 items in the game at this time I guess that means it’s time to use the powers of video

Editing to get a lot of the easy ones out of the Way ooh egg Uh-oh yep much better wait I need a better place to store these other than just a chest to sitting here how about I build a museum somewhere to store these Bam Now to build the display Hall H there that’ll do for now now that the museum is done I have to go and get the items and move them here just barely made it which leaves us with 49 items which brings me to my next issue I

Can’t collect all of the items near my base some of the items like redstone ore which only generates away from my main base because my main base was generated before red stone was a thing so I’m going to have to go Exploring and now we dig for Redstone I’m going to need this iron anyways I forgot to bring an iron pickaxe I found some Redstone oh wait I’m not going to be able to collect the ore so how about this I’ve been sitting here a few minutes thinking of a way to make up for the fact that I’m not going to be able to collect every single item What If instead of say just ignoring the

The fact that I can’t get certain ores like Redstone coal and diamond ore into the museum how about I replace them with something say a diamond block it’s going to make it a lot harder for me because I’m going to have to collect a bunch of

Diamonds in addition to the rest of the items but I think it’s a fair tradeoff but now it’s time to explore and find some more items like this Clay there that should be enough now to head back Home time to start making Tools oh and gather some seeds while we’re at it seed but in order to make the rest of the tools I’m going to have to go Mining well that mining trip went okay I got more than enough iron and a little bit of gold but I didn’t find any diamonds and while I’m at the storage room I’m going to need to steal one of these slime balls you see slimes I don’t know why

They were removed but they were so can’t collect a new one got to steal from These which brings us to the total of 94 items collected many unbearable hours later finally you know I was beginning to believe that diamonds just didn’t exist they were entirely a myth because I’ve been strip mining for 6 hours and these four diamonds are the first ones that I

Found now I’ve got to find like another 60 of Them man look at this crazy vein I’ve never seen one in this shape Before instead of strip mining for another 20 hours looking for diamonds I figured I should probably just bust into my reserves I was going to save these to make my first set of enchanted diamond tools and armor once enchantments come out in 1.0 but that doesn’t mean I can’t use

Them for this and just enchant them later also I’m tired of strip mining that’s the real reason oh and while I’m here I might as well grab one of each of These which brings us to 125 items collected now to collect a bunch of the odds and ends sort of Items so I decided to sort out all the items that I’ve collected according to the version they were introduced and I came to the realization that our list isn’t quite complete you see the list we’re using comes from a post on the Minecraft 4 forums in August of 2010 but

The version I’m playing comes from October of 2010 which means our list is missing about 12 items which includes fences compasses a fishing rods Clocks fish cooked fish the four nether blocks pumpkins and Jacko lanterns another Time now to go find pumpkins so I’m out here at the desert base hopefully I’ll be able to find some Pumpkins here they are pumpkins and a whole bunch of them too now I just have to go home about 1,000 blocks that Way out to place everything this will be Fun Perfect so I’ve been trying to grow a tree down here so I can add one of the leaves to this collection but I’ve been waiting for like 2 hours and I could be lazy and just count this one random Leaf that’s here but that doesn’t seem right

So I’ll fix that damage and then show you my PL plan to overcome This enter the exception items since I wasn’t able to collect every single block and item in the game for example diamond ore and originally I was going to do a single diamond block per item I was unable to obtain but considering I had a hard enough time finding diamonds

Anyways I chose a much more unique individualized exception for each unobtainable block or item starting off with diamond ore which got a diamond block the golden apple which I was unable to obtain gets eight diamond blocks instead of ice I have 16 snow blocks instead of one leaf I have a

Stack of saplings instead of a snow slab I have five stacks of snowballs and instead of a coal ore I have two stacks of coal and for the last of these items I went a little overboard and I have 18 stacks of redstone and with that we’re done we’ve collected every block and

Every item in Minecraft Alpha which brings us to the end of our episode episode 5 one of Aind today A J JY comes to an end one that has seen me play in this world for 12200 days in this video we spend 100 days improving this world and preparing it for Minecraft Beta but before we can start with day one we must update to Alpha

1.2.11 in this video we’ll be updating through 12 versions to get to Beta 1. 0 and once I craft this clock we’ll have everything we need to begin and with the sun risen I make my way to the storage room and collect all that I’ll need to

Craft a massive amount of torches ever since I built this tree in episode 2 my mob farm has neglected to work correctly mostly because of all the unlit branches lighting up the branches was going very well until I decided to try out some parkour oh well I collected my things and got

Back to lighting branches and well a few minutes later I happened to do the exact same thing Again gosh I got to quit doing that so I collected my items once more and then got back to lighting up branches the rest of day one went relatively uneventfully and before I knew it day two had arrived day two came and went with relative ease compared to day one I

Didn’t die a single time and managed to get a significant amount of torches placed on the branches day three you see that’s what I’m trying to prevent creepers the rest of day three went pretty well other than me falling off and dying a third Time I had lit up most of the easy to reach branches and slowly made my way towards the less convenient ones building dirt pillars to access them this continued into the night and on into day four the next day played out very similarly I lit up a significant

Portion of the remaining branches and was only interrupted by death a single Time great leading me to collect my items and Light up a few more branches before the day’s end day five would see me light up some of the hardest to reach branches and the highest peaks of the tree as well as the completion of this tree lighting project after watching the sunrise I

Headed to the storage room made some more axes and cut down and replanted my tree farm I ended off the day by starting the process of turning the tree from just an empty shell into a fully featured build with an interior and everything on day seven I continued

Building the boat tunnels and then moved on to the interior of the tree building the first floor and lighting it up on the morning of day 8 I fixed some of the lighting on the first floor finishing the first of five floors and then moved on to digging out a new Area that’s definitely it that’s funny I like that and with the end of day eight it was finally time to update for the first time to Alpha 1.2.2 the morning of day 9 I figured out that the arch for this tunnel that I just dug was in the wrong location

Meaning that I had to go back change the placement of the arch and correct the tunnel as well as filling in the extra area I had dug out the day prior I ended off day n by picking sure all of the other arches were correct day 10 I made

Axes harvested the tree farm replanted and then started the second floor in the central tree the next day I finished the second floor built the entire third floor and started on the fourth day 12 would see me finish the fourth and fifth floors and start remodeling the original

Base this base was once a fenced off Shack on a a Sandy Beach but now it’s a treehouse day 13 would see me finish the remodeling of the original base adding a staircase and replacing a few Blocks as well as finding a branch that I neglected to light up in the first 5 days and after that I went back to mining the second entrance to the southeast area that continued into the next day and eventually finding me with a bunch of lava to clear out and of

Course it took most of the day and right at the end of the day I ended up dying from It yep it got me respawn Point day 15 time to go get my items and of course there’s a creeper over There it’s going to happen again I just don’t want to deal with lava anymore that’s all hopefully there won’t be creepers this time see if I can make it to the water before I die o food that that’ll be useful yep the rest of the day was spent clearing

Lava on day 16 I took a break from clearing lava to go create another portal illegally this version of the game is kind of special because it introduces something that I can only do in this version and let’s spawn a NE portal out of the a like

This nether in this version you can spawn nether portals with the F4 button that’s the only one I’m going to spawn since it’s the last day I’m going to be spending in this version well now that I’ve done that time to go back and finish up clearing that Lava once that was done I moved over to the other entrance and started the process of connecting them and with the end of that day it was time to update again to the second version of alpha 1.2.2 one that does not include the portal button on day 17 I would continue

Digging eventually finding lava and starting to clear it the next day I would continue clearing lava till this happened I’m not going to make it to water that’s my last food o and then it happened again I did it Again great I’m getting a bucket of water and armed with that bucket of water I continued clearing lava this is why I don’t like lava cuz it’s hard to deal with on day 19 I harvested the tree farm and replanted it on day 20 my water bucket came in

Handy then I cleared some more lava till this happened there goes all my stuff okay not all of my stuff just all the important parts like my clock oh now it decides to go away with a new clock in hand I continue clearing lava on day 22 I finished removing that

Massive lava pocket and continued digging the tunnel the next day I would end up finding more lava in the tunnel leading to this situation great at least I didn’t lose any items this time and after that I would end up connecting the two entrances creating a square loop on day

24 I would Journey outside of the dome for the first time during the 100 days to replace one of the 12 Cobblestone Rings surrounding my base with logs after that I L up the height limiters on the tree farm I would attempt to update to Alpha 1.2.3 only for this to happen this

Glitch means that I can’t play on 1.2.3 in my world so unfortunately I’m going to have to skip to 1.2.3 uncore 01 on day 25 I lit up the arches found out my spawn Point’s location – 145 156 sounds good to me and started to

Light up the trunk of the tree which I would finish the next morning then moving on to collecting and replanting the tree farm which stretched into the next morning the truth is I’ve been procrastinating this whole time one of my goals is to completely dig out the

Area at the center of this Loop this continued into the next day and the day after that before I would ultimately find more lava to clear oh great M day 30 I would figure out a method for removing lava relatively safely and quickly the next day I would finally

Break through to the other side of the loop leaving me with only about a third of the area left to dig in day 32 the digging was continue seeing me almost completely finish the area the next day I would finally finish digging out the area after that I took a break and

Played with the fishing rod that had been sitting in my inventory since the beginning of the Video and once I was done with that I started to chop down the tree farm again that stretched into the next day and after I replanted I took a break and figured out the location of the four corners of my base or the three that I

Had at the top on day 35 I started building the supports for the giant glass Dome completing one and starting the second Sunrise day 30 day 34 want to say 36 I can’t remember oh well after that I got back to building the support finishing

It and then I went back to the southeast area and started replacing the floor with dirt the next day I continued replacing the floor with dirt eventually getting two3 of the way done by the end of the day on day 38 I would finally finish replacing the center’s floor with

Dirt and then I prepare to build more supports for the Dome after that I line the dirt patch with a border of Planks on day 39 I would start building One support and eventually fall off didn’t expect this but it’s kind of a cool view but after finishing that support I

Would start on the second east to west support building the support would continue into day 40 and once I was finished with that I lined the Northwest area with planks in a similar manner to the southeast area then I went back to the southeast area and started replacing

The loop with dirt as well the dirt placing would continue into day 41 until this Happened hm didn’t expect that kind of scared me I hope my clock survived and my bucket of water everything else I don’t really care about too much nope never lucky and then after that I placed more dirt I was supposed to update to the next version on day 41

But I forgot so I’m doing it now it’s another version of alpha 1.2.3 uncore 01 nothing really changes on day 42 I would finally finish the dirt Lo and after that I started tilling the soil and planting the seeds yes this is going to be a big Wheat Field the next

Day I would make two ugly brick things and continue planting the farm on day 44 I would build one more support for the Dome and then I would start harvesting The Tree Farm after finishing that the next day I would place down all the water I needed for the wheat field and

Continue spreading the seeds on day 46 I built another support for the Dome and then tried to remove as much grass from the farm area as possible on day 47 I would continue removing the grass eventually leading me to figure out a new placement for the Torches in the

Ceiling rather than in the field then I fenced off the farming area to prevent mobs from trampling the crops the next day I decided that the new torch placement would be fantastic and I continued moving them and after that it was finally time to update yet again this time to Alpha

1.2.3 02 on day 49 I finished the mood lighting for the farm and finished removing all of the grass then I started planting the field again the next day I finished planting the seeds that I had then I started to harvest my wood Farm halfway done now to do that all over

Again day 51 and after finishing collecting and replanting the trees I moved on to start digging the Southwest area loop on day 52 I started building two supports finishing one and getting halfway through the other and after I watched the sunrise I finished the support I was working on and went back

To digging out the Southwest area Loop that continued into day 54 until the end of the day when I decided to go back to the southeast area only to discover an incursion of grass in my farm the next day I placed some Cobblestone down to prevent the grass

From spreading I then harvested and replanted the farm and after that I went back to the Southwest Loop and started digging out the other entrance this continued throughout day 56 eventually allowing me to turn the corner and mine back towards the other end of the loop

Time to update again this time to Alpha 1.2.3 un04 on on day 57 I finished digging the Southwest outer loop then I would head back to the southeast area and start digging out Coes for some sugar cane Farms during the process this Happened well that was a mistake well guess it’s all gone and once I equi myself I continued the next day I would finish building the Coes for the sugar cane by adding water and dirt and the next morning on day 59 I planted the sugar can that I had then I harvested

The tree farm on day 60 I started building more supports for the Dome falling off of the first one that I tried to Build oops and finishing the second after that I harvested and replanted the sugar cane then started replanting the trees and after finishing that the morning of day 61 I went back and constructed the rest of the support from the day before that I didn’t finish then I harvested all of the crops

And started to replant Them on day 62 after finishing replanting the crops I switched to improving my mob farm modifying it to perform similar to the second mob farm on day 63 I continued improving my mob farm then I would almost die to gravel then more improvements I would finish the improvements the next day and

Test them some then I would go Harvest some sugar cane and after that I started digging out the center of the Southwest area and with with that it’s time to update again this time to Alpha 1.2.3 05 on day 65 I would mine a little bit more in the southwest area then I

Would start smelting Cobblestone into stone so that I can remodel the 12 outer rings and after that I harvested the tree farm the next day I would Journey outside of the Dome remodel the South Southeast ring and almost finish remodeling the South ring on the way

Back in the dome I spotted a few branches I had neglected to light up I then went and lit those branches up and after that I replanted the tree farm on day 67 I finished the South ring almost got blown up by creepers multiple times dang

It then I got the majority of the South South westering done after that I started to smelt some more Stone in the the furnaces and then came to this realization oh that’s why there were so many creepers this is the version where only creeper spawn then I collected some

Sugar cane on day 68 I repaired the creeper damage from the day before then I would finish remodeling the South Southwest ring and remodel the entire west southwest ring after that I figured out a way to remove the last of the Torches from the ground in the farm area

Day 16 9 I would almost get blown up by a creeper Again a after that I discovered that my inventory button was reset to I then I fixed the damage after that I remodeled the West ring and the West Northwest ring and once I was done with that I went back to the Southwest area and started digging it out

Again that continued in to Day 70 before eventually lava would kill me well goodbye and once I recovered from that I would go mining again only for it to happen yet Again it’s going to happen again in day 71 time to go get my stuff and after that I would continue mining having a few close calls and eventually going and getting a water bucket dang it I need to start carrying my water bucket with me Again although that bucket wouldn’t be much help in this situation I’m genuinely annoyed okay most of the good stuff survived and my torches too that’s good and once I was done with that I got back to mining eventually finding a few shiny blue rocks ooh shiny the next day I harvested and

Replanted the tree farm and then prepared to remodel more rings then it was time to update for the ninth time this time to Alpha 1.2.4 uncore 01 and then this version all mobs can spawn again not just creepers day 73 new version new day new problems and my inventory button set

Wrong again and after that I improved the north northwest ring the north ring and I placed the stone for the north Northeast ring and after that I harvested and replanted some crops the next day played out very similarly I would finish the north Northeast ring and start to play Stone on the eastn

Northeast ring out in the water and once the sun set I turned to harvesting more crops and then replanting them on day 75 I would finish the East Northeast ring go and make sure that my mob farm actually was improved by my modifications it seems my modifications

Work and then I mined out some of the Southwest area the next day I would place as much Stone as I had on the East ring and after that I started smelting more Stone and once that was going I started to harvest the tree farm on day

77 I finished collecting the wood then I started smelting even more Stone then I replanted the tree farm and after that I harvested and replanted some crops on day 78 I finished the East Ring then I started placing the stone for the east Southeast ring and then I went back to

The wheat fields and harvested and replanted some of the wheat on day 79 I would complete the east Southeast ring and with that all 12 rings have been remodeled so I go and check and make sure all of them are done correctly then I go back to the Southwest area and

Start mining again the next day would be spent entirely I mining out more of the Southwest area then it was time to update yet again the second to last version we play in this video will be Alpha 1.2.5 on day 81 I would continue mining

Out the Southwest area on day 82 I would build the 11th support for the Dome and after that I went back to mining out the Southwest area the next day I would Harvest and replant the tree farm and on day 84 I would build the finy support

Now all 12 are completed and then I went back to mining more of the Southwest area that would continue into the next day and would lead me to clear out some more lava this time being careful not to ruin the window I had on the [Applause] Outside and on day 86 I would finally finish mining out the Southwest area and after that I started to go around the entire base replacing any dirt and gravel with stone that would continue into the next Day ooh Shiny and in the process I made some windows for some diamonds that I found in the ground and for the other side of the lava Window great on day 88 I would finish replacing the dirt in gravel with stone in the southwest and Southeast areas and after that I went up to the top of the Dome and started lighting up all the newly spawnable blocks I Added and with that it was finally time to update to the final version of Minecraft alpha alpha 1.2.6 the last version of alpha we will ever play in this world and the 11th in this video day 89 I would light up the upper section of

The Dome and then I would get some Stone and start replacing the dirt and gravel in the Northwest area with it and after that I collected more sugar G on day 90 I would remove sections of two dirt rings that I used to build the first few

Layers of the Dome and after that I went back to the Northwest area and continued replacing dirt and gravel with stone the next day I would finish removing the two dirt rings from around the base of the Dome and then I would move to the storage room to perform the same dirt

And gravel replacement in it and after that I would go up to the top of the Dome and light it up more and while I was up there I spotted two branches that were still not lit so I went and EMB brightened them on day 92 I built and

Tested the first of four new entrances to the Base let’s see if this [Applause] works yep and once that was done I started to harvest the tree farm for the very last time in this 100 days that continued into the next day and once I was done with that and the replanting I moved on to Preparing each of the three corners still remaining for their

Entrances to be added on Day 94 I would install the Southwest entrance with relative ease before moving to the southeast entrance deciding to work on it during the night uh I built it in the wrong spot leading me to make many many mistakes after digging a ladder

Hole found it the next day I took a small break from that to smelt some Stone and then I started working on the Southeast entrance again eventually finishing it on day 96 I would build the final of the four Entrances and then I would prepare to move a few important items to my item Museum the one that I built last last episode on day 97 I finally moved those important items to the museum giving them each their own chest after that I added the signs for

All of the versions of alpha that I’ve played in this video thus far and once I was done with that I went back to the main Base sealing up the hole in the dome that I’ve been using to enter and exit it for its entire year year and 8 months of existence and then I removed the East catwalk which I placed down in December of 2021 at the very beginning of the

World on day 98 I started removing the OG bases basement which had been there in one form or another since the very first night of this world at one point it was my storage room and then after that it became a mob farm once I started

Digging out this space and it got blown up by creepers many times and just thrown together with whatever materials I had it was also the access to this staircase which I’m also removing which was the first staircase down to my first strip mine and while removing these stairs the invisible stairs made a

Triumphant return they’re back you all get to stay at least for a little while and once I was finished removing them I went back and removed the second catwalk that I used to align the circle that this base is based off of all the way back in December of 2021 the next

Morning on day 99 I decided that I wanted to try and fill in this weak field with a little less than 2 days to do this I was unsure if this was even possible although once I got started I ended up getting a decent amount done

And with that the the final day is upon us day 100 with the farm fully harvested and replanted I came to discover that I didn’t have enough seeds so I grabbed the closest hes around me and started hoing the grass I didn’t know whether or not I would be able to finally plant

This field to its full capacity but I did end up finding enough seeds to do so with that done I found myself with some extra time before the end of the day and a sudden burst of energy that motivated me to fix a few small things that I had

Left on earlier days so I collected the necessary items and went back to replacing a few patches of dirt and gravel that I had missed in earlier days with stone and then I prepared for the end the last moments of the 100 days only for me to see one glaring issue

There was something else I could remove so I quickly gathered the necessary tools and remove moove what’s left of this 3×3 tree farm and once that was done I rushed to the central ladder and made my way to the place where this all began the top of the dome climbing the

Ladder IID feared that I may have missed the sunrise signifying the end of the final day exiting the Dome I find myself with a mere few seconds to set up for this Final Dawn the sun slowly Rises past the Horizon and the 100 days are

Over and now it’s time to say goodbye to one of the most reliable friends I’ve had over the past 2 years Goodbye Minecraft Alpha it’s over it’s done my time in Alpha it’s over wow goodbye Alpha I’ve gotten so much done in these 100 days digging out the entire Southeast and

Southwest areas making use of the southeast are area to turn into a farm as well as building an interior for the tree and improving the Dome and with that comes the end of the episode episode 6 100 days
