Uncharted TunaMan4 Mine Run

Hello everyone I’m tuna Man 4 I sound a lot more confident now in my opening which is uh which is nice and if you look down at the hot bar there you can probably see that I’ve made a bit of progress um on the world since I did the

Last episode and uh that is very true actually because I ended up making uh quite the nice house um I didn’t intend it to be like this um you see the problem was I ended up having uh a good portion of this recorded actually um and then I went to go open

It in my video editing software and it didn’t want to do that so that was a bit upsetting uh I lost a at least a good 2 or 3 hours worth of footage but you know it’s fine turn it into a little house tour why not bonus points if you can

Recognize what that flag is by the way so here’s the interior uh this is like the main area got some nice red wool for carpet man’s best friend as well I found a couple of these uh that were out just kind of roaming around which is nice little area

Here just to cook some things and if we go over here uh I just didn’t really know what I wanted to put underneath the staircase I might do a basement so I might move these chests eventually but for now a bit of storage very unsorted storage and

Then we come up here and I also didn’t really know what to put here so I just slapped a big old painting um what’s pretty cool about better than Adventure let me uh where did that go I have no idea where that went what happened there oh okay that was

Weird uh okay whatever anyways um what’s cool about better than Adventure is that when it comes to paintings it’s no longer a uh constant right clicking and left clicking on the wall to figure out what painting you want to get uh because you can actually just rightclick the

Painting and be able to select any kind of painting uh you want I actually wow I really like this one I’m going to use this one instead um wait is it large enough oh it’s not oh yeah it’s like three blocks tall okay well I need like a two well

Well H some really nice ones now the blanket I’m going to use this one is that not is that three blocks tall too oh my gosh they’re all three blocks tall give me like uh come on that one’s a class classic I like that

One um I did have the the bowl yeah why not well anyways it also has custom paintings if you could uh not tell and then in here uh just a little area to sleep I didn’t really know what to decorate it with so there’s a lot of lanterns and bookshelves another storage

Area again it’s super cluttered like really really cluttered um and then up here is a little Tower so you can see uh there’s me just right there chilling nice little perspective of my house too and um if you notice that big dirt patch that’s there um you’ll see that uh I did

Have a wheat field going on initially but as I was clearing out uh areas for wood and everything for my house I really liked this spot over here um so much so that I started to make a bit of a wheat field and then I kind of

Backtracked on on the wheat field a little bit and the reason why is because I think it’d be really cool to put a windmill here now I’m not going to get to that right now uh but I still think it look really nice eventually don’t know what

Episode I’ll do that in or if I’ll do it at all might be something different who knows uh but the main priority for today is diamonds uh because every Minecraft Youtuber always has their obligatory uh mining or Diamond finding episode so I figured I mean I

Got to get my hands on uh on some diamonds you know I got to be like the big guys I got to be like the cool dudes that get diamonds on their second episode yeah it’s actually kind of funny that I did all of this without getting a

Single Diamond but I don’t know I just really like building I’m going to have to store a lot of stuff away uh before I go out and I’m going to just get mainly torches and food because there could be a lot of mobs oh and a bucket I’m going

To get a bucket as well just in case and I take this wheat uh oh yeah and I did end up finding a slime chunk which is cool so I got a lot of slime balls from that um although I just don’t really know if I’m going to do anything involving red

Ststone I think I will because there are some pretty cool things that you can get um which I have gotten actually and it’s probably a good time to mention some other redstone things let me do that uh here it is okay so this is the motion sensor and this is actually really cool

Uh because as the name implies okay well maybe not put it in front of the dock but uh as the name implies um it send his motion so you can see It’ll activate whenever there’s something there which I think is really really cool um it just sends a redstone

Signal from it you know um which is nice and then there’s also these spike traps uh from what I’ve heard you can make pretty good mob Grinders out of these and I did end up finding um some dungeons it’s it’s really upsetting the more I talk about

It because I had so much progress made and so much stuff that I found uh but the recordings just didn’t work so I’m really hoping that this one does also um I didn’t realize but my microphone was kind of quiet well more than kind of

Quiet it was it was pretty quiet in the first episode um so hopefully it’s not it’s not as bad anymore um apologies for that I I really don’t know how I didn’t pick up on that it’s really weird it sounded perfectly fine in my uh editing software and then I

Uploaded it to YouTube and uh I listened back on it and I was like wow that is way too quiet so not sure what happened there um but hopefully it’s better now and I’m also kind of hoping that it doesn’t pick up like every sniff or I don’t know breath in or

Whatever I hope it’s not that bad you know um if it is though again I’m terribly terribly sorry I’m still trying to iron out all the uh the kind of problems that can happen when uh when doing this stuff for the first time so I’m going to travel a not super

Far um but just far enough to hopefully find some new fresh caves and I also forgot my compass and I’m going to need that for coordinates here we go uh and I’m going to grab a boat and I’m going to go travel a little bit in hopes of finding

A nice little cave that I can uh explore see what I can find it’s already getting dark I didn’t really think that through um I’m very stupid for that I’m not going to bother bringing a bed though um I’ll just have my respawn set

At that uh at that point uh at my house I don’t know I don’t want to lose my house you know I like it I’m uh pretty happy with um you know how many people enjoyed the um first episode I saw I think at the time of recording

This about 13 likes which uh which makes me pretty happy you know I’m glad people enjoyed it despite all the uh all its flaws you know uh I’m glad people uh had a had a fun time just uh watching that and everything it’s kind of funny because this is very

Close but I haven’t actually been to anywhere uh over this area I’ve I’ve mainly gone West and East and uh South but I haven’t I haven’t traveled North yet so uh hopefully I’ll find something nice we’ve landed to Shore and uh oh my okay uh it’s not very oh wow

Okay maybe not we’re going to leave just for a little bit oh my gosh okay all right um I’m going to wait a little bit until daytime and then I’ll go exploring I really did not think this through before I went but um maybe I’ll

Go around the island and see if I can find a cave I’m hoping that um at least by the end of this episode I’ll have a few diamonds just enough to make a pick and maybe just maybe I’ll actually be able to get into The Nether that’d be

Nice because I think um no I don’t think I’m I’m fairly certain that the nether has a new ore um if I remember correctly I think it’s called nether coal and apparently nether coal um has way longer smelting times than than normal coal so you can just throw it in a furnace and

You can smelt a lot of stuff without having to worry which is really really cool um that’d be very very useful to have all right crack of dawn on the Minecraft world again and this spider is in the way okay cool so uh I’m hoping that this

Is a cool cave oh it’s cool enough for iron that’s cool cool cool cool cool cool now from what I’ve been seeing online um apparently the Y level that’s ideal for diamonds is 23 um and I think that has a lot to do with the uh extended World type of better than

Adventure um you know where it’s extended it’s uh it’s got a pretty high Y level um where you start so uh I guess you do have to go down pretty far oh jeez that was cool you had blue eyes interesting um no cool cave there though

So I’m going to keep exploring I’m going to explore this island see what I can find uh oh oh whoa Who whoo okay okay okay holy oh jeez there was a cave right here and I didn’t even notice uh there might be something no doesn’t look like

It it’s a very um small little detail but one thing that I really really like is the uh the hanging leaves that they have in this it’s very subtle but makes it look nice and sometimes you’ll come across a uh like a Mossy wood on some of the trees I don’t know

It’s the little things like that that I really like I’m just I’m geeking out over just the most small things in this I don’t know if it’s considered cheating or not but I was hoping that maybe photo mode could be of use uh oh that looks really cool over

There I don’t see any caves at all though oh well you can kind of see caves he like tilted down that is weird looking Whoa that’s really cool look at that that is just amazing holy that’s awesome that’s really really cool Mr Pig do you know where I can find any caves no all right will you’re no help I hear zombies that’s a good sign in here maybe no I don’t hear him oh they’re down

Here um okay where you guys at I mean where there’s mobs there’s caves right there’s got to be oh my gosh oh here we go okay okay what did I get hit from oh fall damage I thought something hit me but it just fall damage oh my gosh uh it’s really really

Dark I think if I dig down here there might be another cave might be there’s some coal here I’ll grab this it’s kind of hard to uh oh hello it’s kind of hard to to make a caving episode that isn’t that isn’t like boring you

Know it’s it’s just uh a lot of it is just walking through and killing mobs and trying to find some diamonds you know but uh I mean I can’t even I can’t even get to the diamonds part yet oh I’ve opened up my inventory so much and

I haven’t even shown this yet okay so with better than Adventure um tools you know they have different functions depending on uh the different type of material it is so your gold is silk touch your diamond is efficiency uh this also applies to your armor but there’s four different

Stats there’s fire resistance fall resistance blast resistance and combat resistance um I think chain mail is combat and iron is like an overall balanced kind of thing I’m pretty sure diamond is overall balanced as well and I think steel gives good blast protection I’m fairly certain that gold is fire

Protection and leather is fall protection so you know you don’t really all have to lean into one armor class uh there is a bit of variety there in terms of what you do um you know and I guess like for example if you’re in the nether maybe

You want to look at fire and blast against Ghasts um you know if you’re building maybe uh maybe leather just in case you fall if you’re going out and exploring maybe some chain mail something like that all right you know what I’m just going to dig down and start digging straight I

Got to take this into my own hands I don’t need no caves or just enough wood for a crafting table I mean could you imagine just being stuck that was spooky now I can’t really tell if I’m getting closer or more far away I almost hear it this way it sounds

Like it’s this way it it oh yeah it definitely is um um below or above though above oh my gosh where is this it feels like I’m getting closer well it sounds like it oh here we go okay cool uh oh I hate that I can’t see

Anything going to try to wall them off here there we go I’ll deal with that in a bit uh I won’t go there just yet ooh you don’t even have a head it’s kind of funny um what I noticed uh with skeletons is that if they’re in like an area that’s

Only two blocks high uh the arrows just do not land at all on you and I noticed it in the Overworld um they shoot way far above their heads I’m not really sure why I think it’s just Minecraft Beta Shenanigans um I I it’s kind of funny because I

Almost don’t really remember skeletons doing that but I don’t know it’s uh it’s weird I’m sure it’s just beta stuff though as long as it means that they’re not crazy snipers or whatever then that’s fine with me I found that in uh in 1.9 they are way way better at um at

Hitting you with their arrows like they’re snipers man so if you ever find one and you don’t have like any good armor or anything it’s uh you’re pretty uh you’re pretty screwed okay it’s getting dangerous now ooh a music disc and not even intentional and these skeletons are not

Going to let me have that oh my gosh oh they’re fighting each other okay I have a feeling it’s not really going to go go anywhere either uh so this is a pretty good example of what I mean uh with the skeletons they’re just oh that’s too funny all right it’s

Also really loud so music desk stall that’s cool I think stall is the um the Jazz sounding one which is nice I like that one we also found gold which is wonderful and another skeleton gosh man gladly take this gold I can make a clock with that which is

Nice um and of course I do want uh Silk Touch Too that’d be very very nice I I definitely want that oh yeah check that out so it’s raw gold ore um instead of the block so it’s definitely following the modern Minecraft style of

Uh uh items which is cool I like that I enjoy the consistency in that regard I hear a lot more mobs coming over that direction but I’m not going to I’m not going to dig into that yet I just want to see if there’s anything else oh Mossy Stone that’s pretty cool

It feels weird to mine something with a pickaxe that makes a grassy noise that’s really strange that’s a that’s a cool looking block though I would love to find uh vines in this because I’m pretty sure you can use Vines to make um mossy cobblestone and

Stuff like that so that oh my gosh hello whoa there oh my gosh oh my Lord oh no oh my Dude what was that oh here we go slime chunk okay I will save the coordinates on that um I’ll have to remember that so you can tell it’s a slime chunk because well slime is just coming from the ceiling so yeah you can see it just falls down

Which is uh pretty cool I mean I always found it a little um annoying trying to find a slime chunk in normal Minecraft um because there’s no real there’s no real good way to tell hell um I’m not sure if you can find it in coordinates or sorry I can’t uh I can’t

Remember if you can find it in the F3 menu or not um and you have to wait until a full moon or full moon or Eclipse one or the other you need to find uh one of those and go to the swamp to get slimes it’s one or the other so I

Mean it’s either you wait or you get lucky enough you know but uh have in that little visual there it’s kind of cool oh yeah okay here we go well there’s some lava what was that noise oh I think I know what that is that’s a monster spawner get

Away wow okay this is a nice find for sure yep that looks like a dungeon and I think that noise that just played was the uh noise of a monster spawner spawning monsters so that’s definitely got to be a dungeon has to be yeah I can hear zombies in here oh yeah okay

Nice there we go um okay all right hang on hang on take care of this first there we go oh let me just block that off for now there we go all right time to crack open the loot see what we get another music disc that’s nice uh

I’m going to get rid of this string and I’ll eat this bread why not oh okay cocoa beans that’s pretty funny actually um so so cocoa beans are kind of rare in this version uh because well there’s no cocoa bean itself that you can actually get cocoa beans from

So uh what that means is the only way you’re getting Brown dye or just cocoa beans is um through um those uh those chests now I think in the Discord server um for better than Adventure I’m fairly certain one of the developers mentioned that they plan on adding okay whoa whoa

Whoa I’m fairly certain that they mentioned adding um cocoa beans in a future update which is really cool um because you know having Brown dye be really restrictive like that kind of sucks um you know as nice as it is to find something that’s rare like that if

You want to find any kind of Brown dye just for whatever you want to do it’s uh really rare and it probably shouldn’t be that way so I’m glad they’re um I’m glad they’re doing that you know bit of lava PVP there i’ got some Innovative combat happening and

Lapis it’s really funny seeing lapis in this version it uh unfortunately doesn’t really have much use uh outside of making lapis lazuli blocks whoa I’m okay I’m going to get this gold up here oh hello nice all right well finally got what we came for that’s good and I don’t

Know what to get rid of okay get out of here Apple I don’t need you nice all right perfect that’s great um and I think I think there’s more than one here y there is hey there we go always mind around what you find cuz you never know oh okay

Wow a lot more than I was thinking oh my gosh oh wow holy dude what nine I have never seen that before there’s no way there’s more right no I think I think that’s all holy oh my gosh that is like the kind of stuff you get from a fortune dude

What no way no no come on it actually looks like I’m like cheating it no way dude it looks like I’m cheating no I think that’s it that has to be it right that is probably one of the luckiest Diamond finds I have ever had in Minecraft ever I am actually

Blown away that I just managed to get 12 diamonds from one vein that is absolutely insane is there a diamonds achievement though oh there isn’t I actually thought that there was a that there was a diamonds achievement oh wow okay all right big old diamond pickaxe perfect

I’m going to start digging this way I also uh I don’t know there’s there’s something that’s really like Eerie about just seeing long like uh Stone hallways like this in Minecraft from mining I don’t know it it’s one of those things that makes me feel really uneasy you know it’s uh

It’s a really weird feeling I think it might be best for me to go back home now because I do have quite the bit of things and um I just don’t want to risk it you know especially being around uh lava and everything I uh I really don’t want to

Risk that uh that kind of stuff so I’m going to head back uh back to my house and uh yeah let’s make that Journey I’m looking at my inventory right now and uh I realized that my lava bucket is right next to the Cobblestone that I’m using

To build up and I am not taking my time to switch between the two so just in case I’m going to take my lava bucket and just put it in my inventory there all right well I’m not going to risk that just yet so I am once again just going to wait here

And uh we’ll make the trip back home all right I’ve got the coordinates pulled up and let’s go do it okay well there’s there’s a lot going on here oh my gosh oh my Lord I have never seen sugar canane that tall before there should be like a little Sandy Island right there

And then oh my gosh I cannot remember um somewhere over there I’m pretty sure come on hey there we go okay perfect home sweet home wonderful so I’m uh going to call it a day here uh apologies in advance if this is a bit of a short episode um you know

I did have the goal of making an another portal and everything but I think that I’ll have to wait for for another day um again apologies for it being short if it is uh I’m you know caught up with exams and everything so I’ve got my priorities
