Uncover the Aether’s Hidden Mysteries in Minecraft!

Now you may be watching this video and saying mr o’brien what happened around here update that’s what it says i booted up the world and then it all looked like this so all of the custom mobs are gone all of the custom items are gone and whatever things were retextured and put

Into this realm now we can see what they are now we can see all of it and i believe yeah it’s all just nothing it’s all nothing so all the blocks immediately break because even though i’m in survival mode it’s not registered to any kind of block because obviously

You you doing this to anything any block in minecraft doesn’t work and this is still potsol right here right so it’s all like this the whole way through so what i’m gonna have to do is make a new world i i update i didn’t update minecraft i you can’t update the the

Texture or rather the pack it’s i don’t know what happened but it’s all like this it’s like you woke up one day and then it was like a nuclear wasteland happened outside and you’re like what happened so yeah all your progress is gone when that happens you gotta love that so

I have uh the a third dimension uh loading back up here i think instead of doing survival necessarily i’m gonna go and show you the the creative mode aspect and show you all the items that you can get because i believe you can do that and it

Makes it a bit more eventful now that you know i guess the gist of what you can do in this realm right so i have to actually talk back to this guy again because i had to restart the whole thing so here the the map of guidance will help us out here

Wonderful so if i go into here right if i do mag yup okay so we have magnetic pickaxe we can get all the items that are associated with it over here so let’s take a look i want to see if all the items that are custom built

For the texture pack are in here well they’re in here but they’re not in their own specific section so you can see like they’re technically uh stained glass it’s like it’s like different iterations but what about the custom items a lot of these items look very similar if not identical a couple of

Little differences i’m noticing actually not around here where’s all the custom stuff well yeah the valkyrie leggings i want this stuff what does this do this seems kind of cool hold up a minute all right let’s take a look at all this right this must be super powerful stuff yeah

That’s definitely super powerful all right so it’s all valkyrie stuff all throughout here what else we got we have a hammer of almighty might as well just give myself all the op stuff you know the super powerful stuff and see what happens right so you got all that

Uh where’s the magnetic oh all the custom wow there’s a lot of custom items down here all right so there’s the the aether map there’s the arctic key a candy cane sword a candy cane itself cow wolf meat rainbow ingot ooh spicy all right let’s see what the rainbow sword does we have

A zanite sword the totem of life which does nothing you got to love that so i’m assuming this is the level of sharpness attached to it each of the times so that’s interesting so yeah let me continue to show you what it’s like all around here so where have i been before

I have been over toward this snow that way yes okay so i did not go on the very top of this pillar over here so uh as i go through all these sections here you can see okay i’m i’m facing the right way the same direction as where the map is all right

So okay before i go over here let me explore over toward this way so what is the main attraction over toward here ah it’s this okay so the forgotten get i’m gonna go into survival mode just so i can see what it’s like to defeat this guy the slider whoa whoa oh okay

Whoa i mean i’m not i’m barely losing any health here but like still all right so the rainbow sword is pretty pretty pretty good all right so if i try to run away from this guy basically it’s in like a a maze here i don’t want to

Just spam destroy this guy all the way from the get right um but what’s the strategy here what would be the strategy because i can’t go he’s just chasing after me there’s nothing i can do i can’t go on top of here at all i’m just kind of left to float around

I mean i lose track of him eventually but like he like eats everything can i destroy this stuff oh i can alright so in theory i could go on top of here and then take care of him let’s see this thing is over here right

He can’t get it he can’t get me right no he can’t i mean let’s take a look at this thing he is like uh he’s like uh he’s like a number two after like a taco bell sort of a meal kind of a guy so all right he’s just

Gonna keep on chasing after you so if you have arrows or what not actually let’s take this is the benefit of me doing this in creative mode so let’s take a look at the creative capabilities here all right so we go bow we’re gonna go a bow and arrow

And just see what the damage is like because if you have enough um enough from the overworld to bring into here that’s how you can destroy some of these enemies all right let’s say this right oh so it doesn’t need to be toward the head

It does need to be toward the head all right so you hitting the body the hit box is not on the body so if you try to hit his tail does nothing so you have to hit the very head here where hello there he goes so like right here there we go

So once you defeat him he borrows into the ground and then he drops some berries and he drops the same thing that um the other thing dropped but from before the um the genie here the slider trophy so we’ll take a look at the slider trophy here real quick and it just yeah

Okay i get it i understand all right let’s go back into creative so nothing else happens all right so the slider trophy looks like this um they move around but they don’t really do anything not not really not entirely right so now that we have all this that’s cool i’m

Gonna keep the bows the arrows i need to keep in the hot bar but i’m gonna keep these kind of things on deck to see how much they matter in the long run here so yeah let me go back over here because this whole middle section over here we

Basically already explored based off of what was already around and that was the main attraction this thing over here right so let’s say before i head up to the very tippity top there is there anything else around here that is worth exploring or actually matters and is of substance it looks like

What is okay well that’s obviously thunder and lightning and all that um this is just a standard village like kind of was before i’m noticing these islands over here these small small islands do they matter or do they have a lot of stuff on it no so basically it’s like if

You wanted to make your own world right and you wanted to live out on one of these islands you certainly could but there isn’t anything necessarily a you know crazy about the locations where they’re at right um i do want to explore eventually if i ca if i kept

Going what would i find that’s what really really perplexes me i guess because we’re technically still in the overworld but we’re also like very far away from everything else so anyways that’s what that whole section is there so this this uh zeppelin over here i’m wondering

If this is gonna be a good guy a bad guy thing or just kind of here noticing something on the very tippity top right there but if i approach this area it looks like ah there’s these little goblins just like from before all right so what is this that is a rainbow block

Interesting so if i went on to here i would have been able to easily grab that loot all the blocks on the very top and inside of where this is here i really like the way this looks oh rainbow ingots all inside of here interesting so

If it if it calls if it beckons to you go to the rainbow ship it’s not a rainbow ship i mean it’s full of rainbow ingot but it’s not it’s not a rainbow colored ship go here so you can get the rainbow blocks and then that’s how you probably craft all the uh

Valkyrie leggings and all that i would assume so that’s how you do that right so there’s all that and then this was relatively near uh this this middle section here is a bunch of floating islands now i didn’t go to the very top here but it seemed like the main attraction was that

Tower which had the magnetic blocks which makes sense because it’s all floating so that’s cool uh the golden city i haven’t quite seen yet but this area over here um oh there’s another one of those towers so basically a couple of those towers in general for the area that’s nice so

The main thing around here this kind of looks like a like a tundra sort of a thing but i’m not seeing like a main arena or an outpost or something over here inside of this building let’s take a look is drum roll please it’s just one

Of these guys and then a zanite ingot so i’m assuming they all have different levels of rarity and whatnot but i would guess also that the rainbow one is the best one because you know rainbow road is the final destination in mario kart you know it combines all the different

Colors it’s usually more powerful than other i don’t know iterations i guess but here’s an oasis that’s pretty cool so in the middle of the desert of course you gotta have a little bit of a a clearing i suppose but what i’m also curious about real quick is if i go

Inside of here right if i if i go in here is there anything of substance or is it just gonna be straight up all cobblestone i don’t think there’s any sort of cave system in here so what normally happens with these sort of minecraft maps is they they really intently focus on

What’s going on on the top here not so much what’s going on really anywhere else so i wouldn’t be surprised if the vast majority of what’s underneath here is just stone straight up just random stone and that’s it um it could be a lot more than that but anyways

Not from what i’m seeing yeah i’m not seeing anything else from here it’s just like a random torch that’s kind of interesting uh let’s take a look so yeah i just i don’t see any main thing around here which is kind of surprising considering every area has seemed to have like a

A boss battle of some kind that would be worth defeating and that’s what i like about the aether map um probably the most from everything i’ve seen so far is that the buffs the boss battles are very fulfilling they’re very difficult which is something that you

Don’t i mean you see it in minecraft with the dragon and the wither and all that but not to the same extent i’ve wanted a new boss in minecraft that wasn’t like like impossible to defeat i mean not that it’s impossible but it kind of feels impossible a little bit at least

Is what the you know the wither and um now the dragon feels possible but the wither is really the one that’s really impossible here’s another one of those ships so if you want to deck yourself out with more armor there you go there’s that um this you know what this kind of

Reminds me of is uh end city vibes just a lot of open sort of area to explore it’s very disjointed in a way that i guess makes sense this stuff over here i never actually got a chance to look at what this is it’s air gravel which does not apply the

Same physics as regular gravel so interesting okay so apparently i went to the highlands again nice all right uh if i destroy this rainbow butterfly what happens anything no just a standard feather that pops out of there all right fair enough all right so in terms of the air airy area the ir

Area uh that’s very gold oh is that the exit oh okay so wait this airy plane seems like there’s nothing going on here also not not a boss battle area so i was kind of kind of wrong in trying to go for this area first because there’s nothing

Really here but yeah going to defeat that giant genie was really cool it definitely makes sense to have as a final uh kind of boss area so okay i see a little bit of an inkling of a mine inside of here that’s kind of spicy let’s take a look inside of here

How uh how far does it go is it actually all the way fulfilled oh it looks like it is wow let’s see there’s um different ooh sub environments in here okay okay i would like to think this is gonna lead me into where the main no just a dead end interesting

Well it has a healing stone that’s cool i’ll try to pop out of here and explore and see if there’s anything else but you can kind of tell this is rigged in that like yes there’s a zanite or like all these different types of ore and stuff are very conveniently placed

In places you know this looks like the main entrance to a thing yes oh this looks like a boss battle yep all right let’s take a look do i need the arctic key that’s what that is all right so if i take this i’m assuming i find

This somewhere and then i present it here that’s gonna pop right into there yes there we go so it’s hidden in the mines and then i have access to go into here no problem at all all right so this looks like the golem wait hold on i’m gonna i’m gonna obviously keep

Cheating because why wouldn’t i right but hold on let me give myself some uh hold on golden carrots i believe golden no not goild golden carrots there we go that’s what i want and now i’m gonna use this super powerful whatever this is gravity hammer sort of thing that’s

Gonna be good all right the hammer of almighty let’s see i see that golem in here hello you look like the golem from the minecraft set oh yeah you do uh the sentry golem well he moves very slow so that’s good wait oh wait how do i reclaim reclaim give me the thing

Oh wait he just also did that much damage to me whoa whoa okay all right well let me just back up here real quick so if i do this does that do anything i mean barely anything literally barely anything at all dude come on could have been a little bit more

Effective than that geez don’t take your time too much now you know what i mean uh does that do anything no does this trap the golem like there must be a a more foolproof way to do this maybe there’s not actually maybe the key to all these boss battles is literally just using

The bow and arrow constantly maybe there’s not oh yeah well you know doing this is probably not uh not super effective here i’m gonna take a lot of damage here just kidding no i’m not i’m good okay but there’s nothing else i can use i can’t i’m really surprised i can’t

Reclaim that hammer dude that’s probably the most surprising thing out of any of these items so far i have to go back and manually snag it man that’s disappointing okay so i’m back in creative mode now so let’s say i want to take care of the sentry golem uh

What about the bow and arrow the bow and arrow seems to do almost as much damage as the rainbow sword what about the zanite sword does it matter i don’t hold on also let me look at what the other items are because you might need to actually use the items

Specifically from the region in order to make it work no i mean what’s this ambrosium ingot i don’t know what on earth this is does this do any more damage to you no they all do the same amount of damage so it seems like that’s kind of the case like there’s

Still sharpness and that defense whatever whatever that ability is right there whatever that is they have that too it looks like that’s kind of uh unanimous across uh all the swords so is it important for you to get all the different ones even the rainbow ones i don’t know but anyways

Are you done you are done oh cool all right then there’s the totem nice so now i did that the incorrect way of course but is there any easier way for me to get out of here now do they magically allow me to kind of zoom out and just

Pop out of here probably not so let’s take a look and let’s see if i go through the very tippity top of the mountain how long would it take me to get to the very surface here i can kind of see the night sky yes i can see the rain boom

There we go so if we take a look at the rest of the mountain side around here it’s just a bunch of mountains there’s some villages inside of here but yes the main attraction obviously was having the boss battle in the middle there’s another rainbow uh zeppelin around here so this might be

It might be fun to do an actual survival world of all this you know if if it perplexes you enough to do it i say give it a shot i would love it if if someday somehow i mean something minecraft has never really been able to do i like this

Area this is cool uh something minecraft has never been able to do is actually do like movable vehicles other than boats so if there is some way to have these ships flying around and you had to you know one of the final battles was going over to this you know this golden

Area over here whatever this is and you had to like catch up to the ship and rob the ship and then it would like crash eventually but then a new one would spawn in that’d be really cool that’d be super super cool to have as a uh a final boss area but okay

So this is clearly a golden palace full of many golden things so let’s pretend i just took the whole um oh cloud city that’s totally not infringing on anything pertaining to a galactic adventure no totally not at all right it’s fine so let’s pretend i went

All the way through made the bridge and all that right so the golden city has all these golden bricks which could get you very far in lego masters if that were the case but anyways um it looks like kind of a minecraft um dungeon sort of a vibe where there’s all

These spawners everywhere and you’re making your way toward the very end whatever that boss section is i’m going to assume this is the biggest and baddest boss section of the bunch so let’s take a look yeah all right so this seems a little uh interesting weather can i yeah let me

Let me set the weather to clear did that work did that work hello no yeah it did cool all right i didn’t need to go into creative mode to do that my apologies all right so let’s see what the final boss of the ether is oh it’s a dragon hello how are you

The aether dragon oh that makes sense because of the nether dragon oh or the enderdragon rather okay that makes sense he’s not emitting sound not really okay so let’s say nope not going to the marketplace i want to go on a create nope i okay whoops all right well uh

That’s spicy let’s let’s get back into the aether real quick so the aether dragon is reminiscent of the ender dragon now contrary to the uh the ender dragon the aether dragon is uh uh um very closed in terms of its area of uh a battle so that makes it uh interesting not that

I need this armor but i’m gonna equip it anyways let’s say i know actually where to go yes it’s the golden area over there luckily my render distance is super high i can just fly right over and on back isn’t that great so obviously this would take me a lot

Longer to do this in survival mode which i uh you know i get that and it probably would have made it a bit more lengthy if i did so but i i understand that doing maps like this there’s a lot of them and i like showcasing what each of

Them have in store before i go to the dragon is there anything inside here no there’s nothing inside of there of course it’s how these things normally go all right mr dragon i can see you again right so he doesn’t actually see me so let’s say i pop back into survival just

For a second and back into creative so he does see me i do want him to actually acknowledge my existence all right ooh you can just fall right through here oh that’s evil that’s evil dude wow all right yeah i don’t like how this area is so small

Like there’s nothing oh especially with these giant flying narwhals oh no no no no no no no there should be more of a an area for you to play against the dragon with you know should be something you know and especially the hitbox here so i’m hitting its head right the ender dragon

If you hit its head any part of its body it does register so when you’re when you’re creating a map like this you want to make sure like you don’t want the player to get aggravated in that sense by having like oh i’m attacking its head and nothing’s

Happening dude like really you know all right so let’s take a look at the ending process here the aether dragon plays the same uh same things here as the ender dragon and that’s it owen a ton of xp as well oh cool so it’s literally like the same thing

Interesting all right cool cool that is a aether dragon egg is it not hi little bobby that’s cute where are you going hey buddy you good are we friends are we friends i can’t tell if i walk do you walk with me no you don’t care you just don’t care do you no

You don’t uh you don’t oh he’s trying to go after that ah maybe he does care maybe it’s like a puppy hold on all right narwhal get on out i wanna have a pet dragon all right pet dragon no get this out of here get

You out of here too all right pet dragon are we no ah there’s another flying fish mama mia come on come on get out all right does it never end is is the the little baby dragon perpetually designed to keep attacking the narwhals and the the giant flying

Fish and what all that are we good we good are we he’s literally stuck inside of here he’s got the abilities of a dog right so he can he can attack all these stuff but he can’t fly up so he’s a baby dragon that flies but he can’t fly so that’s interesting

But yeah if you keep attacking these things in order to like i’m assuming i’m assuming he’ll follow you right i’m assuming that’s what happens here right hold on let me go back into survival mode let me let me see hey buddy buddy are we good what’s he what’s he chomping at you good

You good he’s not good he’s gonna stay there okay so that’s a little bit bugged out so basically that’s the ether it was a free minecraft map download if you have any ambition to do survival then i think this is a worthwhile survival map at least for a little while it it has

A lot of interesting sort of worlds boss battles that are definitely very difficult and if you played this all the way through beginning to end you know the end the nether the everything else you would have a great time with this for me i am always a fan of doing if you know

If i’m going to go the full survival from beginning to end and doing all those things i want to make sure it’s in vanilla minecraft because of literally issues just like i so i showed you before where i booted up the world and all of my progress was gone every aspect of it

Was gone so i don’t want to have to play a mod like this and then everything is gone and there was nothing i could do about it maybe there’s a fix or something but if i don’t have the modpack installed basically all the glute i have is is worthless so

Play at your own risk i guess i like playing in vanilla for those reasons alone so if you want to play this in your own survival world be careful um in terms of how the map is made it’s beautiful i would have loved to have had

A lot more npc villagers you know we only have this guy in here that’s literally the only person that talks to you the entire time i would have loved to have had more uh villages that were more iconic you know settlements other than just having the main

Uh main attractions here being the boss battles you know or learn a little bit more about the civilization of the ether you know something like that but i know we have these small things here but they’re not distinct they’re just kind of villages like you would see in

Minecraft which maybe is the point but for something like this i would like to see more detailed villages in that sense so all that considered if you get a chance to download this and play it i think it’s worthwhile i hope you’ve enjoyed my uh exploration of this map and what it
