be doing well not the first thing what we’re going to be trying to do early on is get connected up to the hub and hook up a hub for players what the Hub is is it’s a large area where Everyone can warp too easily and then we can distribute all to to each other’s bases and whatnot it’s basically fast travel but we do it all in game using only mods we don’t do anything using commands or anything it’s it’s a different way of handling it and every Player gets to join the Hub at their own pace it just cost a couple of Ender Pearls and that’s pretty much it thanks to you know the last Millennium and uh mcraft and then after that well before that we have a little bit of decorating We have to set up the mcraft room and then after that we’re going to try and hook up an anti-rain machine because to run On server and client it was designed for single player yeah so there’s a bunch of things in multiplayer that just aren’t optimized for single player or a bunch of things for single player that don’t work well in multiplayer like for instance the pipe do you want to know Why the pipe caused uh everyone around you to crash but not you it was an animation eror with some weird MTH uh it was a particle effect actually because the item is to emit the particle no one else around you was holding the pipe so everyone who sees it Crashes but that also didn’t explain the thing cuz it was also you uh with the Silverwood one specifically you could it would only crash people with a certain amount of total aspects like acquired oh yeah because it ran all of the code for okay so it ran client and Server so what that means is if someone smoke the pipe near you the pipe would try to run its effects on you even though you weren’t holding the pipe and because you had so many aspects it was checking every aspect for the aspect have I see yes no it Was it was it’s a good work project yeah cuz if any of your aspects were over 250 it would just crash you yes and now instead uh well I mean first off it runs client side only now for all of that and then the server handles the Math as it’s supposed to and the second thing is the pipe will not give you over 225 or 255 well configurable too which yes yeah it’s conf yeah a config option was actually added to it what no it’s so hard to have a variable to get changed from a [ __ ] Json file Oh actually it’s an any file be any [ __ ] file he Welcome to the Pagemaster Modpack! One of the best Minecraft modpacks ever made for Minecraft 1.7.10, all streamed live for your viewing enjoyment. In here you are going to find Thaumcraft (tc 4 specifically), many Thaumcraft expansions (Thaumic Tinkerer, Thaumic Horizons, etc…), Ars Magica 2, Thermal Expansion, Botania, Tinkers Construct, and even some of the more exotic mods like Rotarycraft and Chromaticraft (a few others of Reika’s mods). This pack is huge and full of hundreds of hours of content, so much so that the pack fails to load on less than 4GB of RAM! We are also over 200 mods!
All this Minecraft gameplay is being done on our communities own survival multiplayer server, so expect to hear some other voices from time to time. I do prefer the magic mods (I like to be the chosen architect of space and time) but I will be starting with tech mods for once. This is a very large modpack with many mods, so feel free to ask questions.
