Undead Army (Minecraft Mage Quest | Part 32) [Necromancy 1.7.10]

Good evening I am Modi apparatus and welcome back to magequest on today’s episode we’re going to do a little bit of more work in necromancy and see if we can create an undead Army so let’s get going All right so as I mentioned uh today we’re going to create an army of Undead minions to uh heat to heat our call and uh defend us against the dangerous things out here I’m way far away from home base as you can probably tell here uh because I’m trying to gather as many

Resources as I can I seem to have been running out of Hearts I want to do a ton of minions here but we need to get as many hearts as possible um I’ve been making lots of stuff off camera here uh but now I’m just going around killing everything I see to see

If I can get more uh more parts from necromancy originally when I was collecting all these things I wasn’t doing necromancy at all I was like Angry Bird getting so many of these like little like body parts and stuff like that but now that I’m actually using them uh I don’t have enough

And um so it’s a little bit unfortunate but uh we did make I did make a ton of uh stuff here already and I think these guys might drop stuff too here so we’ll take care of them too I’ll just drop bones and stuff maybe maybe the dew drop

But I think everything drops is a chance to drop the necromancy stuff um and more than that I think I like about this mod is that uh hello it’s villager zombie villager oh my timing was off there um I have two hearts so far hearts are

The main thing I’m I’m missing uh hearts for torsos and I’m missing uh uh arms still I need lots of arms and mostly arms the only thing holding me back with arms is uh it’s not lack of muscles here muscles what you do you need um two puzzles or

One vessel per R basically for uh for necromancy here oh don’t pull up oh damn it ruining my terrain here um so that’s one thing that we need to do is make some more arms and we need to make some more torsos and see if we can

Get things I mean there’s dropping a lot of these little Eagle wings here too uh Eagles are providing a little bit of benefit for us I mean they’re like maybe one in ten drop what I’m looking for here um it seems like the other mods or other

Mobs rather not mods mobs are a little bit more efficient as far as dropping stuff I’d need um because the feathers aren’t used for anything as far as I know in in necromancy uh one thing I do like about necromancy is it is kind of a random mod

But um because it has things like Isaac in it from from uh Binding of Isaac but uh I like that it gives me a reason to use a lot of the items the vanilla items that you never really have a use for so like uh rotten flesh actually has a use

Again because you can make Undead zombies or uh minion zombies really really easily um using using uh necromancy but if you have because you end up with a lot of red flash even if you’re playing in vanilla you end up with with you know she has a chest full of rotten flesh

Just for killing So Many Zombies but um this actually puts that to use which I like uh and we can also turn it into other things using botany we can turn it back into leather um so that’s that’s another use for obviously but I like having just a a

Normal use for without changing into leather just to use for uh rotten flesh it’s great like things like uh spider eyes you need spider eyes to make new skulls so if you want to make a you know a skeleton skull you can actually make that if you have spider eyes to use as

Eyes in the recipe so it gives you another use for spider eyes gives you use for bones because every single recipe records lots of Bones uh which you also end up with tons of in vanilla as well so that’s kind of nice um I think we’re gonna be out of stuff

To kill here now because it’s gonna be just vanilla mobs here so I think we’ll just take our two hearts here uh and take our four muscles or whatever and see what we have back at the house already uh already made for this whole project here so let’s head back this way

To the house um I’ve been making all kinds of different body parts I made I’ve made a chicken head which is gonna be amazing I’m gonna make a couple more of those because it’s really really funny I think it’ll be hilarious when we actually put it on somebody

Um I’ve made an Enderman arm I’ve made a uh a Golem uh Iron Golem um head or nut head I mean anger on Golem torso and we have the arm from last time we didn’t use uh and we also have stuff in the books do because I did do a

Little bit of work here to uh get some things done in that regard so we can continue on our uh our hedge Mage Quest here after we’re done making the undead Army here a little bit I think about first we’ll go see how many things we

Have and I’ll kill everything on the way here on the way back and see if I can get any extra Hearts here uh to add to our our collection so I’ll be right back all right so we’re back at the compound here I’ve been busy between episodes

I’ve got a lot of dog breeding going on here uh one thing that’s hilarious with dogs is if you uh have a ton of them and you have some meat out they creepily follow you everywhere you go and they can’t move whereas uh other animals would follow you but these guys

Are just glaring at you like real dogs would um anyways the uh couple things you have to drop off some stuff here let’s see how let’s drop off some of the stuff with my spoils here at least got a couple I have three hearts left in there that’s pretty good uh we

Can make some different things let’s drop a cow head off in here see how we did in here so I have uh another couple zombie heads uh this isn’t my complete collection I’ve been trying to to um get this all lined up for what I want

To use it for cause it’s gonna take some time to actually make these guys too uh as extra body parts over here I do haven’t I do have I can just use zombie torsos I made a ton of zombie torsos accidentally um well not accidentally I was I was not

Thinking ahead and so I used up a lot of the hearts I had making uh all of that unfortunately um so I made a ton of zombie torsos I want to use just zombie tours I want to kind of mix these up I want this kind of

Be a ragtag army of uh creatures here I got a squid beak from reliquary I didn’t even know actually relicfer wasn’t even in this uh to start with um in the original the one I’ve been playing for the first you know 20 episodes or so before the quest got added in uh didn’t

Even have um rather query in it as far as I knew um so we got that I’m just gonna throw some stuff off in here just to get rid of it oh we need these for a thing here uh you’ll notice in my my hot bar here

Right above it remember my food that I got all of my Mana back uh and I did a little bit of mining in the nether so I got lots of those so we can complete that Quest actually so let’s do that right now uh we need to craft uh one two

Three four five six seven eight uh nine apples I think we’ll do it let’s go take a look at the quest book now and see what it says let’s go show off results hedge Mage and the man is strong with you some of the spells that you may find will require a

Ton of amounted use in order to unlock your full magical potential you should require you to craft it eat a total of 10 Crystal apples claim reward of a potion of mana and then we unlocked uh fungal shakes is one that I unlocked here we can claim the reward for this uh

Basically I just had to pick up my brewing stand put it back down again and already had this on me so no big deal there so we have four of these potions now oh my God they don’t stack either well that’s inconvenient and bacon donut just around

Um and then let’s take a look and see what else there is here so there’s feel the surge Mana naturally replenished itself over time unfortunately it does so at a pretty slow rate by drinking a potion containing a crystal and apple you temporarily increase your Mana regeneration rate okay so potion of man

Is surge ooh so you can manifest potions can be rude by a brewing stand by adding crystalline apples to an awkward potion so we have to have the Apple not just The Shard the Apple into one of those so we have to make one more Apple oh we did

Make the extra apples here so we need to make an awkward potion here then um well I can do that quick here just grab some bottles uh I think I have some in here actually yes two three I’ll use all those I suppose um yeah I really gotta clean this place

Up because it’s a mess all right so I’m going to start this Opera potions up and then uh it’s night time so I’m asleep and then I’m gonna clean up my pack here and then I’ll be right back all right so I got the potions ready to

Go here for awkward potions I’ll put the Crystal and apple into there and start that crafting up to make the Mana surge potion uh and then let’s take a look and see what I got for body parts here so I got a six what’s up skeleton skulls I

Got eight zombie heads here two skate cave spider heads I have a cow head spider head creeper head and a chicken head this is gonna be amazing uh what I still need is more arms I have some skeleton arms some cow arms an iron golem a harm I have an Enderman arm

Um basically this is using the iron block this is using an ender pearl this is using uh raw beef um I have some skeleton legs I have some cave spider legs pig legs and Creeper legs uh torso is a plenty here cave spider squid zombie and iron golem man

This is gonna be an amazing troop here of ragtag people uh what I still need is some were arms so let’s take a look and see what we can do with that uh we have some chicken arms maybe we could do a Zombie Pigman arms with this we can do a

Couple more torsos of random things here maybe let’s grab lungs out maybe some pig or cow torsos perhaps um let’s grab all this stuff out feathers don’t do anything let’s put the feathers away and leather I don’t need to put the leather away is there anything in here I want to grab

Not really there’s a couple more skeletal legs if I want them how are we doing on the legs do we have enough it looks like enough I want about 15 creatures here in total hopefully that’ll be enough I have 16 souls in here so we should be okay I might need

More blood but um F16 sold at least so more arms definitely because this is only 11 12 13 arms so I need I need another another 16 17 or so I have three three it’s six plus six four is ten plus five is fifteen so that’s right enough

There for legs anyways uh torso six seven eight nine so I need like six more torsos heads I’m sure I’m good on um okay I’m gonna take them in here I’m gonna craft up some things here uh like I said I need uh more arms here especially

Um I’ll leave lots of Bones here too so I’m gonna take a moment here craft up everything I can here and then we’ll start our Undead Army creation here so I’ll be right back all right so I took a moment here I got a bunch of parts made we also need to

Finish this up here get the potion of Mana surge on which is a Mana regen uh potion here and let’s take a look at the quest book and see what it says now needs more Apple claim it we get four more of those which is awesome and then we unlock the taste the

Mana like normal potions you can increase the strength and duration with Glowstone and Redstone and convert potions to splash potions so make potions Brew two by adding up Redstone to a managed search potion Okay cool so because I had a redstone the ones we already made and uh then we’ll get uh

The next level which clicked on our quest in the book here so we’ll do this and do this cool so we’ll make it and we’ll have that question down here too then so uh now let’s throw this stuff in here if you don’t need that don’t need this either really

Um and the white bag will hang on to um let’s put this back in the bag this is robot all my tools and stuff go uh so let’s take a look and see how we did man it’s beautiful is this is all gonna turn into an army of minions in a matter of

Minutes here so let’s grab all that back out here now and uh boy it’s gonna take some time here but uh I’ll start cooking here so uh let’s see how long this actually takes all right here we go Foreign Body some creeper legs and some normal arms this is gonna be ridiculous this whole thing’s ridiculous there he is it lives our first monstrosity Oh my God okay this is gonna be this would be fantastic all right let’s leg up the game here and build as much as much as we can here foreign Oh my god what have I done this is terrifying oh God all right uh let’s get these guys all someplace where I can see them all together here uh this ragtag uh Misfit bunch here um I have a spot cleared off for him outside so let’s go put the Army to work

Here and I’ll be right back all right so we’ve got the potion of Mana search two part of this Quest done here so let’s take a look and see what happens next oh the splash man of potion of Mana surge okay so we need to do that

Quick here too uh so let’s throw this in there quick and then we’ll make the splash potion of Mana surge here I don’t need 64 of these though let’s put us all those back then and then we’ll go take a look at my Undead Army of minions here in a moment

Uh let’s just finish this up we can finish that Quest up here uh and it’s a splash Master Splash Mansion Splash Mana surge two potions can be brewed in a brewing stand just like long you had a glowstone got it so I will add gunpowder and splash potions of Mana surge awesome

So claim the reward we get four more potions of Mana surge man we’re gonna be stocked up on that uh glad we don’t have to go get those let’s throw these into here and see if there’s any more quests unlocked from that nope the next Quest

We need to do are all about creating a library so we need to go around getting the rest of these books here um did I get any in the meantime here I did not so summon wolf summon cave spider teleport respawn uh and some zombie pigman these are the last and

Blaze storm man we don’t have a lot here I think I had a blaze storm though didn’t I Place fire blaze storm is not what I have yet okay so let’s go looking for that too alright so as promised let’s go take a look at our army of minions

Here it is folks I don’t know what I’m gonna do with this Army but let’s go take a look and look at our perch look at it it’s beautiful they’re all down there let’s go take a look let’s go take a closer look at the Army here it’s a little

Overlook on my armies like uh like Saruman on the Orcs and uh gaze down upon my Army it doesn’t look as impressive as that did because there’s only uh nine things here of all I thought I had 14 I did 14 Souls a lot of the things that must have got deleted

Maybe there’s a limit to how many I can have but I have nine here so I think there’s oh there’s ten ten eleven all right so with the cutting these two there’s eleven um so I must be missing some either missing something died in the process

Here or uh yeah they they might be spawned at a certain point so this is my Army here we got uh uh Commander Ryu Dragon here leading the charge with his Lieutenant uh chicken Golem and um yeah so we got a ragtag lunch here of uh guys gotta get them organized here

And then we have the canine infantry unit here ready to go it’s gonna be amazing now I don’t even know what to do with these what I should what I should do to put these to work uh if I use them in regular combat I think they’ll get killed off pretty quickly

Um they’re not like optimized this guy’s 110 Health 100 Health 78 72 so they’re already taking some damage here he’s already taking some hits um 101 he’s gonna have a ton here 150 the lieutenant is 150 and uh right he’s only down to 50. so he’s about 50 still

We have to figure out how to heal these guys back here um and the K9 units of course as part of it as well man this is gonna be good so uh yeah I’ll figure out what to do with the Army later but uh for now it’s

Looking pretty good I have no idea I mean it would be amazing to set these guys loose and uh go fight something I just want to get them all killed right now I kind of want to save them for a special project here so if you have any
