Unleäded Fängs – Modded Minecraft | Dungeon Spawners | All the Mods 7 | Ep 2

Well hello there my name is fangs and  welcome back to the modded let’s play   so we’re gonna be checking out a dungeon today um  i’m not sure what to expect from this i know it’s   gonna be really dark down here so actually i’m  under prepared and i should be bringing torches  

Because otherwise you guys aren’t going to be  able to see anything that’s going on unless i do   post editing which i could but why not light it up  so there is also silk spawners on this server so  

I have a silk touch pickaxe we’re gonna try  and get all these there we go i think we got it   kill him and bam okay we did get a spawner um okay  and it is a skeleton spawner so we can’t see all  

That information so that’s gonna be pretty  cool whoa oh these are loaded down here okay   that is good news for us  we’re gonna get loaded loot i don’t know if i can disable  these so we’re going to try that  

And then we’re just going to loot all of  this yeah so we definitely can just loot   all of these uh spawners and who cares  oh is that a shield wait that’s a shield and my self-touch pick is about to go so maybe  it wasn’t the smartest idea to use that down  

Here but hey i did it i wonder why this is  spaced differently is there anything here   i guess not it’s just a thing okay oh so this  uh this white shield actually has mending and   unbreaking on it so it’ll never breaks  unless we drop it so that’s pretty cool  

Wait is this the entire dungeon there’s no  way that this is the entire dungeon right   there’s got to be more is this all for this  direction is it just these little catacombs   interesting okay well i guess we have to just  go each direction because that’s all there is  

I don’t know why i was under the  impression that these would be that’s above me oh that is a lot of  mobs above me by the sounds of that i do not know if i like that oh what is that growling

It’s like it’s right above me  or is it below oh it’s below we’ll uh we’ll give it a peek maybe  oh it’s one of these werewolf guys   yeah we’ll just kill this guy they’re annoying   always super annoying but i probably should eat  that way we don’t lose our health and hearts and  

Region a little all right just seems to be a  cave underneath that looks like a modded block   i need to know what oh wait we’re coming up on  the okay this is the other part of the tunnel then  

Whatever this stuff is seems to be extremely  common uh raw aluminum in raw 10 it looks like   that stuff seems to be basically everywhere so  i’m not gonna worry about getting too much of it   not gonna sweat it if i don’t get much  apparently this white stone is limestone  

So that’s pretty cool um don’t know if it has  any specific uses other than building but um oh well this is a continuation of the  tunnels over here it would appear turn it off oh no that’s a stray  

We do not want to deal with those they slow you  down so we got bane of illagers i don’t know   exactly what that does um so we’ve got a lot of  things in the mods to figure out what does what  

Which will be pretty fun um i am going to take  a minute just to throw some of the blocks out of oh i can’t even throw away these  blocks so i will have to trash them  

Okay so that is why they have a trash can  got a cave spider spawner and we’ve got a   another skeleton spawner i don’t know what this is oh so these are like graves that we crack  open and then uh there’s spawners inside

Okay wow we are we’re gonna have so many uh  spawners if we can uh if we can like come back   here later please oh i only have the wooden picks  oh no uh i mean that’s that’s a decent helmet but  

I still have better and wow we’re getting so many  shields i don’t know what the shields are all for   so this is actually really interesting this leads  to a completely different area than where than  

Where i was and this is oh this is still extensive  i’m a layer below or something okay this is way   bigger of a dungeon than i thought it was and we  got another pickaxe thank goodness we don’t have a  

Silk touch pickaxe sadly but um we’re just gonna  have to make do for now come back for all the   spawners later we just need to uh secure all the  loot for now because loot is good oh what is that well i don’t know but it  died that’s all that matters  

Oh there is a creeper spawner that would be the  best oh that would genuinely be the greatest   spawner in the entire game to get i really  wish i had a self-touch pick right now because   a creeper spawner that means infinite gun  powder that would be so useful okay there  

Wasn’t anything too fancy in the other cave  except a bunch of spawners that i would really   why is this furnace running and why can i not  get inside i’m horrible at parkour yes but why   are you running someone was here someone used this  furnace or it’s infinitely i took a bite of cake  

This skeleton was here using it i guess a bunch  of wooden hose yeah that’s just what we want   um not at all not at all i will take the uh  torches though and just do a little bit of  

Let’s go ahead and sleep why not get rid of the uh  light all right we’ve gotta head into the depths   of the dungeons and pull forth the secrets  of the abyss there’s a couple of you guys that’s like the first thing i’ve ever blocked  in minecraft with a shield i don’t think i’ve  

Ever used a shield even in vanilla minecraft oh  we got a covered wagon that’s kind of cool supply   camp i don’t know i don’t know what that would be  for um impaling two sharpness one space breathing  

I mean it sounds cool but i have no idea what  that would actually do these are not seeming   too difficult right now they seem fairly easy to  run through like you can just speed run through  

Most of these interestingly enough there doesn’t  seem to be a lot of things down here we will be   taking that brewing stand though because i don’t  have to go to the nether now to get it well i  

Hear a lot of zombies let’s hop down in here  we didn’t even explore all the top layers but   who cares about the top when there’s deeper depths  oh these are okay we got a velocitas an energetic   beverage i guess that’ll like just give us  energy i don’t quite know what that’d be for  

And we’re going to abandon all of the uh record  discs because i already have too many of them   and there’s basically seven of them in every chest  all right we’ve kind of already got a ton of these  

Let’s drink one of these and see what it does  oh it gives us blindness speed and haste okay   well speed running the dungeon let’s go we  got meloe the best music disc in minecraft   we did it we got the most important music  disc i can now die happily oh what is that

A polar polsky posky posse i don’t know why i’m  putting a ski in there when there’s no k but let’s   get the achievement real quick there we go hadn’t  got that yet so might as well oh we got another  

One of the cockroaches burn the roach all right  now we’re going to go head down another layer   deeper into the dungeon we didn’t even complete  that floor so i’m gonna have to try and remember  

That and then finish that floor on our way back  up but deeper is always better right oh here we go   here is like a oh we’ve got one of these and these  have like spawners hidden behind the blocks which  

Is super cool because that gives us access to more  loot wow this this place even goes deeper okay i   hear tons of skeletons down here but this is like  the deepest i’ve ever seen one of these areas so  

Um this could mean we’re into good loot area i  don’t know what this means all right so we have   42 levels at this point and um in all of  our mining and stuff we have obtained enough   bookshelves to kind of set this up so let’s  go ahead and smack down the enchanting table  

Found that while we were in the  dungeon so that’s pretty cool   um let’s go ahead and oh we’ll need  one more to oh what is what is all this uh wait does this mod completely change how wait  do you have to have like classic 50 bookshelves  

Um this raises some interesting questions that  we’re going to test now because uh i’m a little   worried now that i can’t afford to actually  enchant stuff when i was thinking i was okay   ah this is gonna suck if we actually have to have  50 bookshelves there’s i’m i’m hoping there’s  

No way that that one will happen wait is the oh  that that stays interesting it doesn’t it doesn’t   look like books are doing anything yeah i don’t  think bookshelves are actually doing anything so   do i just take this so i’m thinking  there’s some kind of mod here that is  

Um like controlling and chanting so uh that’s  that’s not a good that’s not a great pickaxe   but i’m wondering if the reason why we’re not  finding like fantastic enchantments is because   the game doesn’t really you know want to do that  with the current mod pack so let’s craft two more  

Um throw these bookshelves in  the drawer throw that in there   um then i need to get some food let’s go  ahead and just get a stack of baked potatoes because it might be kind of hard  to get a good pickaxe in this   on breaking three we’re just  going to take that nature’s mend  

Oh okay well that’s that’s half decent actually so  we’ll go ahead and take that one um can we make a   i’d actually i don’t think i have a grindstone  i forget the recipe for a grindstone i think we  

Need a stone slab so i’m not going to worry about  that at the moment but that is rather interesting   let’s go ahead and try and craft a sword you see  i know we’re wasting our diamonds right now but  

We’ll throw these on because why not let’s see  how the diamond sword does bane of illagers   i don’t know what that does but i guess we’re  just going to go for it that’s all we got  

Well uh bana villagers 4 we’re just gonna have  to find out what it does as we play i guess   so uh yeah i just got done with a live  stream and uh i decided we would check   out um everything i did during the live  stream real quick because we did a lot  

And uh i forgot to tell you guys that i was gonna  do that in the video so enjoy the inside of my   head so yeah i just got done doing the live stream  and um we added a second floor to the structure  

That’s pretty cool right maybe we add a little  desk here and have a home office be kind of cool   um we got these nice little windows with shutters  uh so if we want to be private we can we can just  

Close the uh shutters and have some privacy up in  our future bedroom um i think we’ll move the bed   up top and maybe put uh maybe connect the shelving  here and then we jump up on the shelf to get up  

I mean it’s it’s it’s counterintuitive but it  makes sense because it’s minecraft okay yeah we   we mostly just got the second story of this  build up kind of and we got these little piles   in i don’t think these were here either  i think i did these on who stole my crops

Maybe i just didn’t plant them i don’t know  i don’t care if someone borrowed that wait did i just this is the greatest mod pack ever in minecraft  it it automatically is planted you don’t have to  

Do anything all you have to do is collect that is  that’s awesome uh there’s so much stuff like that   in the mod packs that really are just so nice  from a vanilla player standpoint that ah it’s  

It’s so nice but what did we do during the stream  well we i think we sorted up a lot of the base and   um we kind of got everything situated we uh we got  a bunch of spawners because we did manage to get a  

Silk touch pickaxe and we have a primary spawner  here um which is wither skeletons these weather   skeletons are wearing full diamond armor so uh  yeah that’s pretty good you know we can get uh   some special stuff so um we mainly just did  some sorting and some farming i’m gonna take  

A moment real quick to grab a little  bit of moss because i do need some moss   because i want to have some  flower beds in front of the   um in front of the windows and i don’t exactly  want to take the time to grow grass up there or  

Get grass with silk touch and moss looks nicer  anyway so that’s the plan one of the positive   things about using trapdoors for your windows is  that you can access it anytime you want and now i  

Can simply just fill my windowsill with moss right  here like this even add the little tree in and um uh there apparently i was somehow walking there and i  shouldn’t have been able to but i’ll take it um so  

We will have to do a little bit of grinding when  it comes to the plants and stuff to put up here   maybe we’ll add flowers um we’ll do some random  stuff but we just want to seal the base up make  

It all nice and make it look at home because in  the end we will be living in the starter base   for a little while i think because i want to play  with all the modded aspects and uh i think we’re  

Going to kind of experiment around before we build  the base because i know there are computer systems   and i don’t want to build the entire base and  then come back later to be like oh i needed to  

Do this and that for the computer systems it would  have been nice to know this stuff before building   so yeah in case we have to run power lines  or stuff like that i have no idea so i want  

To experiment with all that first and get  to know that do you guys ever just have   one of those days where you make really dumb  decisions and you forget to do certain things   well that was me i just recorded the last like two  hours with no audio on i had my microphone muted  

So uh yeah we’re just we’re just gonna cut it out  and i’m gonna recap everything that i did and show   off and talk about some of the problems i had and  uh do it this way instead of me dubbing over or  

Trying to do whatever i would but so on the  second floor we did end up adding a desk and   we closed all the shutters to give us nice and  private or give us some nice privacy and um yeah  

We’ve got this nice little desk here and i think  it looks awesome we got our nice little globe here   we can spin the globe and make it go super  fast and um i think this will just be a   really nice office location um probably  bring the bed up and put it right here  

So eventually we’ll break that and put it over  there maybe do some shelfing here especially   some shelving here display some stuff it’ll be  pretty cool um stuff like these trophies maybe   and um yeah i think overall this is  really coming together over here um  

So let’s go ahead and go take a look at the  project i worked on and forgot to record my   audio for it would also appear that enderman  griefing is turned on in the mod pack which is  

Rather annoying i might i might uh might throw an  idea of a data pack to disable those annoying guys   i had to turn them off in my single player world  because they were just screwing up my terraforming  

But um regardless that’s just something we have  to deal with it’s a vanilla minecraft feature that   for some reason has never  been changed even though i   find it rather annoying personally but it is  also exceptionally useful in the situation  

That you need a grass block so i can’t argue with  its features people would probably cry both ways   um if you disabled them people would be  upset they can’t get free grass blocks and   if you uh do nothing with them people like me  will complain about them messing up their builds  

So what can you do but there is one thing that’s  absolutely more annoying than anything in the   world and it’s when one of those dang endermen  drop a grass block in your redstone and break the  

Circuit like what do you do with that they broke  your circuit what are you supposed to do it’s a   loss always possible so up here we managed  to build a mob farm we’ve got three or four  

Different spawners in here and um this basically  is just giving us access to xp and mobs this is   a nice safe way of doing it i don’t have to get  in there and kill myself trying to fight them and  

Yeah they’re not one hit and i could drop them 30  or so blocks but that’s the beauty of this design   right now is i can just edit it because it’s  a just literally a square box a eight by eight  

Room with four spawners inside of it and um we  drop them down here and then we can push them   to a central spot and we can drop all of these  guys 30 or so blocks if we really wanted to um   the only downside that we  would face by doing that is um

Well really just the effort of building it  there is no downsides um the only problem is   is that the way this spawner works is i just had  a thought of a way better way of explaining this   okay so my genius way of explaining this  is to just simply show you the stats  

So on a spawner we get to see what it is it is  a minecraft stray which is a stray obviously   it has a minimum spawn and a maximum  spawn delay those don’t really matter   but where it does matter is we’ll find spawners  that have spawn counts of one two three and six  

So far as what i’ve seen so as you can see most  of these are one but there are a couple that are   three or um there’s a couple that are two and  these vary in the same mod a stray is not always  

Two and a stray is not always one a stray is not  always three this goes anywhere from three to six   so far it appears that all of the spawners have  a max entities of six in the testing that i did  

It appears that the max entities refers to how  many entities at one time that mob spawner can   have spawned so it limits it to six no matter  what the distance they are away from the spawner   so we can see that the spawn range says four  from my understanding this means that mobs  

Only spawn in a four by four area around the  spawner which is basically a typical mob spawner   that’s eight by eight because four blocks in  each direction so that is a normal spawner um   the problem is is well the activation range  is 12 and i thought it was 16 blocks oh it is  

So these spawners have custom activation  ranges and the spiders have 16.   so um that doesn’t really matter either  because we’re of course standing at the farm   but the max entities poses a really weird issue  because normally you want to clear the spawn  

Room as fast as possible so if this is your spawn  room and you have four skeletons that just spawned   you want to get them out of the room and  away from the spawner as fast as possible   and the reason for that is because that  allows the spawner to then reproduce four more  

At an even faster rate the faster they’re  away from the spawner the more it can spawn   but that doesn’t seem to be the case with  the modded spawners i’m not sure if i’m   just overlooking something or doing it  wrong but that would appear that that’s  

How it works now i may have to do some testing  in a single player world to check this out but   for now i’m just going to kind of live  with that data because it seems logical and   well to be perfectly honest it doesn’t really  bother me that much because the more spawners  

You have the more mobs that is because the higher  mob cap so if you want to have a normal farm that   would be equivalent of getting four out and having  high efficiency you just simply need six spawners  

And um as long as we don’t go insanely  overboard with that it won’t be a bad   thing and it won’t lag or anything bad like  that so we will have to keep that in mind but   overall it should be okay and i don’t really  see issues with it but with that though guys
