Unleashing Chaos in Minecraft Desertopolis! #4

In the last stream we were working on making our way through mostly the strainers quest line here we ended up with three strainers in total one beneath eroding water one beneath menal resin and one beneath the block of crystallized menil and as you can see here between streams I have spent a

Little bit of time mostly just increasing the size of our perimeter wall here and then alongside that also increasing the size of our Cactus perimeter as well the cactus or the cacti I should say at this point in time are not strictly necessary I don’t think we’re going to need this much Cactus

Going forward but I quite like it as part of the base design at this point and I’ve also gone ahead and thrown down quite a few more torches basically all the Torches we had have now been placed down just kind of around the perimeter as well so that hopefully we don’t have

To be quite as hawkish about sleeping as soon as the Night Comes we should be able to hopefully work through the night without having to worry about any mobs being close enough to actually deal any damage that’s the plan now the actual plan for today’s stream is to begin the

Automation quest line I do want to start working uh through this silicon quest line here because if we can get the entropy manipulator that unlocks the compressed quest line which gives us access to pneumatic craft which has kind of been our Gateway into doing more with our chickens and potentially alterating

This wheat farm here which I have been kind of slowly but surely plowing away at between streams it’s still quite small and it’s going to take some time to get up to the full at0 wheat seeds but it’s work in progress and hopefully once we get that automated we can really

Start to progress quite rapidly with the chickens and at some point today I do also want to go back to the strainers quest line and craft up some of these pipes in fact I might do that right at the start here let me bookmark the item pipes the energy pipes and the fluid

Pipes we don’t necessarily need all of these just yet in fact really I think the only pipe that we need to start with is the item pipe which is also one of the easier pipes to make it’s made with six iron ingots one Redstone and two

Droppers so Redstone wise we do have 47 and iron wise we’ve got many stacks now we got more Stacks coming in and we do have almost 500 iron backed up in our drawer here which has been continually chugging away between streams Cobblestone wise we’re actually a little

Low on Cobblestone I did do some more Cobblestone mining between streams to get enough Cobblestone for the wall here but we could definitely with looking at automating this we can do it with the resource generator and in fact I was under the impression we had extra resource generators but I might have

Used those in the last episode to make upgrades actually now that I think about it that is fine we can always make some more fairly shortly if we do want to automate Cobblestone for now though if we want to make this happen we do need

Uh 14 Cobble and we have a total of nine that is not a problem because down here we still do have access to unlimited Cobble that we could of course just mine out of the ground and if we quickly go into a small tunnel mode we can just do

Something like that and we get ourselves easily a stack of cobblestone which is all we need to get the item pipes and the reason why I’m kind of focusing on the item pipes here is that we can use these to automate the processing with our strainers because right now the

Limiting factor especially going into the Silicon quest line here is um I think going to be gold we need gold nuggets in order to make the Silicon blend I think we’re going to need a fair amount of that silicon blend and we also need gold ingots to make things like the

Raw improved processes and as we saw in the last episode The process by which we make gold is a little bit cumbersome to be doing manually over and over and over again we have to take our black stone we have to place it into a strainer we then

Get the Gilded black stone that we then put into another strainer and then that gets us the gold which we can then craft into gold ingots and the same is kind of true with redstone as well we have to get the menal planks or the manal logs I

Should say that we then craft into Minal planks and then we have to process those into Minal chunks and then we take those menal chunks and process those into Redstone so if we could automate some of those processes that would make our lives a whole heck of a lot easier now

In order to actually use these pipes we do need to get a pipe wrench which thankfully is fairly easy to make it is two sticks and two crystallized Minal chunks two here and two here fantastic and essentially we are going to want to move I think some of these strainers cuz

I’ve not moved these since the end of the last episode but I have moved kind of everything else in the base and so real quick let me grab a couple of buckets so we can grab the eroding water and the Minal resin and then we can obviously just break the block of

Mineral right here and then let me move these to uh to try and make them a little easier to work with Okay so I’ve shimmed these around a little bit my thought process here is that we have these two strainers this one has the block of crystallized Minal on top and

So this one is the one where our blank Stone’s going to go so we want to maneuver this in such a way that the blank Stone actually gets Hopper directly into to this strainer I say Hopper we could also use an item pipe as well so what we’ll do is we’ll move this

From here and by extension we’re also going to move the whole system on top of it but for the time being I’m going to put that down right about there and then we can actually use the item pipe here to extract from this drawer down into

The strainer we do want to make sure we have our mesh in the strainer and for the time being we can also put our improved everything upgrade into here as well and then from there if we take our pipe wrench we can shift right click on

The side of the pipe that connect to the draw and that will change it from doing nothing to extracting and so now this is going to extract the Blackstone from this draw and insert it into the strainer and you’ll see if you uh hold shift while looking at the pipe at the

Top there it says it’s transferring four items every 20 ticks which is four items per second and so now we’ve automated the production of gilded Blackstone at least until our iron mesh wears out and all we want to do from here is extract from the strainer and insert into the

Other strainer so if we do something like this we should be able to extract here and insert here to the point where now all of the Gilded blank stone is being taken out of this strainer and is being inserted into this strainer and with that taken care of I believe now

All we need to do is place the eroding water back on top of this wooden strainer and it should begin making the golden nuggets from there I want to extract again from the strainer and I want to insert into yet another storage drawer between streams I did cut down a

Few more trees so we do have a little a bit of wood here to play with but if we do something like this and like this we can get another draw we can place that draw down let’s say right about here and again if we make sure that this

Connection down here the one that’s connected to the strainer is set to extract again shift right click that should now pull any gold any gold nuggets that are made in here up out and into this draw and so now if we go ahead and kind of close all this back up and

We put in the eroding water like so we should see the and of course the mesh don’t forget that we should see the guilded Blackstone getting transformed into the the chance of getting golden nuggets it’s not guaranteed that we get golden nuggets here and to be fair it might be it might

Be a better idea to put the improved everything upgrade into here as opposed to into here although to be fair we could definitely do with making a second improved everything upgrade for both trainers to make sure they’re both running at maximum efficiency but eventually when we do get a gold nugget

It should be placed into this draw and and basically going forward now until these iron meshes break we have automated the process of getting gold nuggets and if we really wanted to Future prooof this a little bit here we could start by putting some coal into

Our uh blast Brick furnace over here to make sure it actually works and is actually smelting iron but we can also just make a couple more of the iron meshes and then we could maybe Place those into a hopper to allow it to feed into the pre-existing strainers so that

Once the pre-existing mesh breaks a new one should just get placed in automatically so if we do something like this and get two Hoppers we can then go ahead and do something like this and make a few more of these meshes they don’t snack which is unfortunate but

Let’s say we make four more we I believe should be able to do something like this and like this and then now I assume that if this mesh gets taken out a new mesh is instantly placed back in which is fantastic and of course we can do the

Same thing down here as well I don’t want to break that eroding water block but I’m going to have to do that so real quick let’s pick up that eroding water again like so and then if we do something like this we can place in the

Iron meshes like so and we can replace down the sand on top boom and boom and boom and now we have a system that should work for quite a while at producing the gold nuggets Forest of course just as soon as we move these three blocks over here back on top of

The black stone to allow this whole system to continually produce blank Stone indefinitely and there we go this is is now I don’t want to say fully automated because we’d have to automate the meshes to fully automate it but it is for the most part fully automated the

Twitch chat does make a good point here in that we could utilize a compacting draw here to make this just a little bit better for that we are going to need annoyingly Five Stone and we have exactly four Stern on us uh that is completely fine though we have actually

Never mind more Stern in here fantastic in order to make the compacting draw we are going to need to get two regular Pistons thankfully we do have the Redstone now to make that happen and the only thing we’re missing is a draw for now I’m going to go ahead and of course

Take this draw right here and we can then use this I do want to make sure it’s empty first but we can then use this to craft a compacting drawer the compacting drawer is superior because this will kind of alter craft those nuggets into ingots so when the nuggets

Are placed in there you’ll see that the nuggets are now available in Ingot and eventually once we have at least nine ingots it’ll also be available in block form as well and so yeah this is a very compact or mostly compact little setup for producing the gold ingots and we

Could do something fairly similar with redstone as well for the Redstone of course we’d have to get one strainer which we already have to turn the crystallized manal chunks into Redstone and we’ need a second strainer to turn the planks into chunks I don’t know if this is necessarily worth automating

Just yet because there’s no way to automate the menal planks at least not that I can see I don’t think there’s a way currently for us to automate the production of Minal logs however I do notice that fairly soon there’s a way that we can turn lampus into menal using

The pressure Chamber from pneumatic craft and of course lampis is something that we are generating automatically and can continue to generate automatically using the extract Tator here and so um once we’ve unlocked that we can probably look at automating the process of turning lampus into Redstone via the use

Of the extractinator and the compressor anyway now that that’s taken care of let’s take a look down at this silicon quest line the first Quest here wants us to to make silicon blend and in order to make that silicon blend we need sand we need nether quarts and we need gold

Nuggets the gold nuggets are taken care of that’s great the nether quartz we have one we can make more and I believe it’s oh it’s not gold nuggets it’s crystallized mineral that is completely fine we do of course have our charger over here ready to go and we do have a

Fair amount of crystallized mineral chunks again here we could do a little bit of automation just to make our lives a little easier and this recipe here does work you can craft four chests at a time with eight logs just a slightly faster than normal craft but over here

If we do this and this I believe that we should be able to put the chunks into let’s say this chest set this to extract and then over here set this to extract as well the only trouble we might run into is I think this is probably just

Going to move the chunks over never mind it is smarter than that I was under the impression it might just try and extract the chunk but it looks like the charger knows that it has an input and an output and so it does actually extract the chunk turn it into nether quartz and

Place in the chest which is pretty cool stuff so we can then take that nether quartz we should have a very large amount of sand in this chest from all the terraforming that I did between episodes and with that we actually do have now what it takes to make some of

That silicon dust we probably don’t need 64 gold nuggets for now I’ll just take a couple of these and we can craft those into silicon blend so the Silicon blend here can now be used to make quartz enriched iron which is kind of the Bedrock resource for refined storage and

I do think we’re actually fairly close to being able to get a digital storage system up and running and so this is going to be a very useful recipe for us and the Silicon blend can also be used to make squats crystals over here uh this recipe is down here it’s six

Redstone two silicon blend and one nether quartz to make five cerus quartz crystals those are going to be required to make the entropy manipulator which again is required to move on to newa craft but I think we’ll start by getting ourselves some quartz enriched iron for then I actually think we’re basically

Good to go enriched iron boom and boom we’re going to need a lot more than five of it but to make more I think really we just need more nether quartz which we do have and with that we can actually go ahead and make another 10 quartz iron

There the Silicon here is made by charging the Silicon blend which we are now out of but again we can make more of that silicon blend fairly easily because we have the golden nuggets here ultimated and so let’s quickly craft up a few more bches of those and again we

Can do something like this and if we take the crystallized manual chunks out the Silicon blend should make its way into the charger and should be transformed into some silicon and then that silicon is used to make the Silicon inscriber press so this one here requires four silicon and a block of

Iron I do believe that we can also get the Silicon inscriber press by breaking the mysterious Cube at the center of the ae2 meteor that we started the pack with now the only slight problem that we might run into there is that the mining fatigue that we get every time we

Go close to the meteor kind of makes it almost impossible I think for us to break that Cube I don’t know if we’re going to get mining fatigue every time we go over there and I also don’t know if we’re going to get mining fatigue

Right in the center if we do then we’re not going to be able to get that mysterious Cube but I’ll head over real quick and I’ll see if we can’t break that Cube if not we can always head back and try the silicon and iron recipe yeah no unfortunately it does appear that

We’re going to get mining fatigue no matter what here it looks like we are like in the middle of a temple and I think no matter where we go inside of here we’re not going to be able to to break into that meteor in the center of

That meteor is a mysterious Cube one of these guys right here and if you break that open you do get a bunch of uh presses from applied energistics but that’s fine we only need the one press I believe because I think we’re going to go with refined storage for our storage

Solution and we can actually make that one press the Silicon inscriber press with four silicon and one iron we did just put four silicon powder into the the chest for the charger and so once we get back we should have everything we need to make that press anyway yeah here

It is back over here we have four silicon and of course we’ve got more iron then we know what to do with let’s keep cycling this through which of course we could also look at timating now as well but if we do something like this and then of course like this we can

Get ourselves the inscriber Silicon press and then from here we can make the raw Advanced processor the raw improved processor and the raw basic processor this recipe is standard for refined storage however in this pack it looks like things have been tweaked to mean that you have to go through the

Inscriber from applied energistics to in order to make the final processor variant of these um these raw processors so to make these we are going to need more silicon more Redstone more crystallized menal blocks in place of what is’s normally I believe diamonds here for the advanced processor but then

We also need a processor binding which is string and slime balls so string we can make from leaves which we can get from trees and the slime ball that one we can get by placing Cactus into a strainer with eroding water above it that is also completely fine we’ve got

Some spare Cactus here and of course we’ve got a ton of cactus around our base that we can tap into should we need it and of course over here we can go ahead and place the cactus in along with the mesh we can replace down some of the

Sand that I dug out earlier and we can replace down that second bucket of eroding water and that should begin producing slime balls nice we can also go ahead of course and place the green wall that I just made into our squeezer here and if we do a quick bit of manual

Squeezing we can get some string which we can then use to make the processor binding and thankfully you do get eight processor binding at the time so we really don’t need to make too much of this we might need to make a second bench if we do want to get a basic

Refined storage system up and running also it would appear that the chance of getting a slime ball is not 100% it’s not it’s 50/50 so we got somewhat lucky on the first try but then somewhat unlucky on the second too that’s fine for now we can go ahead we can take

These we can get one block of crystallized menal and now if we want to make all three of these raw processors we just need three more silicon which for us is going to be some more gold nuggets I’ll take quite a few of these I

Think we’re going to need a lot of the Silicon dust here aka the Silicon blend we’re missing nether quartz if we want to make more than six but we do have more nether quarts in here and we should probably just leave this crystallized mineral in the chest and let that

Transform slowly but Surly into nether quartz cuz again I think we’re going to need just so much of this if we want to progress forward and with that we’re almost good to go let me quickly turn at least three of these into regular silicon via this chest and then at the

Same time our chests over here are getting a little bit full we could if we wanted to get an iron chest we do have the iron Chest mod installed in the pack but at the same time I do think that we’re very close to being able to kind of get rid of these

Chests Al together and move solely to a refined storage SL applied energistics style system so I’m I’m hesitant to spend any of our resources upgrading that when uh when I don’t think it’s going to be strictly necessary and once we’ve got three of the Silicon we can

Come back over here if we type raw into ji we should be able to make the raw basic processor the raw Advanced processor and if we grab one gold ingot we can also make the raw improved processor nice and now if you want to make the inscriber we do need two more

Slime balls again that should be completely fine we can quickly steal some cactus from here I say that should be fine we do need two slime balls the likelihood of us getting two slime balls from two Cactus is not particularly high in fact there’s a nonzero chance that we

Don’t get any slime balls which is exactly what happened and so real quick let me get a few more cacti here and let’s see if we can’t get at least two slime balls to make the two sticky pistons for the inscriber and about 14 CTI later we managed to get two slime

Balls we were particularly unlucky there uh but now we should be pretty much good to go let me make sure I have the Cobblestone and some planks so that we can make ourselves the Pistons required to make the sticky pistons let’s do two of you and and then of course we’ll get

Rid of everything else in here and we’ll do two of you and then with that that should be everything to make the inscriber we’re just missing one singular copper Ingot boom and boom nice this guy does also require power thankfully I don’t think it is as worried about which side it gets power

From as the inscriber is and so I’m hopeful that this will work with power coming in from the back there and now we should be able to make some of these actual processors to do that we are going to need three printed silicon one for each of these processors and the

Printed silicon is where that inscriber silicon press finally comes into play we can place that into the inscriber and then if we throw some more silicon blend in here we can then take the resultant silicon out of here and place it into the inscriber and that should slowly but

Surely transform it into a silicon press if there’s enough power to go around which there might not be given the fact that the Dr at the top there isn’t backing up on power once that gets full I assume this will continue up past 18 assuming there’s nothing else to be

Charged there we go okay so we could definitely do with more power this is not the best power source in the world this one generator right here but it does work and we just need to do that two more times for the two remaining printed silicon and at that point we’re

Pretty much got to go on each of these processes we have at least three Redstone we now have three printed silicon fantastic and so if we put the printed silicon in if we put the Redstone in h we can then put in the Raw improved processor followed by the raw

Advanced processor and of course followed by the raw basic processor and I do want to point out that I’m very happy to see in the new version of applied energistics here you can put multiple items into each slot it used to be the case you had to put one item in

At a time I’m very happy to see that they have changed that it’s now much nicer to use but that is going to get us the final raw processor and now that we have all these three we can start to look at setting up a very basic refined

Storage system so if we want to get a basic RS system online we’re going to need a few things we need a controller we’ll bookmark that we need a crafting grid so we can access our items and ideally craft with them as well and then finally we need a dis drive so with

These three we have essentially a rudimental refined storage system we would also need need some kind of disc we’ll start out with the 1K disc and potentially upgrade or make more discs should we need more than 1K worth of storage but to get started here the controller is just some Quartz in Iron

With silicon an advanced processor and a machine casing the machine casing we’re going to need three of these I believe one for the drive one for the crafting grid and one for the controller it’s made with you guess it quartz and Rich iron and in this case Stone which we do

Have ready to go and in fact we can probably make one of these we do need to make more of these and of course to do that we need yet more quartz and it iron which is just more nether quartz and so at this point in time it’s kind of just

More of what we’ve been doing up until this point we can make more nether quartz we can make more silic and blend we can use that to make the quartz inwi iron once we’ve got enough quartz inwi iron we can make the machine casings once we have the machine casings we can

Then look at the next items required in this case we’re going to need three silicon here and then no more silicon here and and no more silicon here but uh after that three silicon we do need to get an advanced processor for the controller we then need to get another

Uh we then need to get two improved processors as well as a construction and destruction core these are both made with basic processors one requires crystallized mineral chunks and the other requires nether quarts so we already have one improved processor we already have one Advanced processor so

We need one more improved one more advanced and one more basic and then for this we need another Advanced so I think we need two more advanced one more improved and one more basic processor all right so a quick bit of processor crafting later we just did the same

Stuff again to get two more advanced one more improved and one more basic so now we should be able to craft the construction core with a basic and a crystallized manual Chunk we should be able to craft the destruction core with the basic and the nether quartz that

Should allow us to craft up the crafting grid if we can get another Quartz in iron which we definitely can along with three glass which we definitely have and with that boom the grid is taken care of if we want to upgrade that to a crafting

Grid we do need a regular old crafting table for that we’ll just go ahead and take four planks scroll wheel up by the way is how you get uh items out and then scroll wheel down we’ll take them from your inventory and put them back in but crafting table and boom there’s our

Crafting grid as for the controller this one’s pretty easy we already have the advanced processor now and so boom there is our controller done and then as for the disc drive we’re now just missing a chest which again is eight planks actually never mind we have excess

Chests from earlier and then yet more quartz enriched iron which we do not have and currently cannot make however we do have yet more crystallized Minal chunks which of course we can turn into yet more nether quarts annoyingly I think this is going to get us five out

Of the required six and so we do need to do one more nether quartz here which is going to take a quick second with how bad our current generator is also the uh the charger is a little random in terms of how long it takes to process items

Unlike some other machines it’s not uh on like a set time sometimes it takes a very short time and sometimes it takes a very long time to charge an item regardless of the power situation but now it’s just the storage disc which seems pretty straightforward here actually we do need four more silicon

Which should be fine we have what it takes to make more of this we’ve got almost 300 golden nuggets now and we do have more NE quartz so let’s quickly craft up yet more of these we need four silicon we’ll let that transfer over and then we need four quartz Rich IR which

Is the exact amount that we have the only thing that could potentially cause a problem for us now and that is likely I think to cause a problem for us now is power because currently our only source of power is this generator a very basic refined storage system doesn’t use that

Much power but it’s quite possible that this one little basic generator that we have here might not be enough we’ll find out momentarily while we’re waiting for the disc drive we can put down our controller right about here that should start receiving power above that I’m

Going to put the crafting grid like so you can put it anywhere it doesn’t have to be on the top just so long as it’s touching the controller or it’s connected by some kind of network cable that being this cable here from refined storage it is this one is on you’re

After it’s made with you guess it more quarts when it shine and then you can also put the disc drive down anywhere so long as it touches the controller and this is basically now good to go so if we get four silicon we can then craft up

Our first one care storage pot which does also require a redstone that is I was going to say completely fine but are we oh no it’s in my inscriber I thought we were completely out of redstone for a second there but nevertheless we now have what it takes to make the storage

Part and of course we can upgrade that to a storage disc which we can now Place into the disc drive and this can now hold 1,000 items so if I put two iron in there it takes up two out of a th000 if I put 26 in there we’ve now got 22 out

Of a th000 and so we can now kind of just dump a lot of our stuff in here I do have a sneaking suspicion I was going to say a th000 might not be enough it’s kind it’s kind of actually very good for things like these nets that we have the

Animal capture Nets because they only take up one slot and you know things like random bows and loot capacitors that we have that take up a lot of chest space and not really that bad inside of the drive they really don’t take up too much space but I do have a feeling that

Once we start trying to move over some of the uh the blocks like the sand and stuff that we have in our top chest that we might start to run into potential problems again a lot of these should be fine a lot of these are single items

When we’ve got space for a th000 but you know throwing three stacks of coal in there that’s 180 items that’s like you know well over 10% almost 20% of our budget I’m probably not going to put the Relic scraps in there for the time being because those yeah those are really

Going to take up a lot of space the coal here is really what’s um what’s doing us which is unfortunate we could of course look to make a second 1K drive cuz I think a second 1K drive would do the trick here for that we just need a bit

More silicon to make more quartz Rich iron and to make another storage component but I think there’s less than a thousand items in here although there is a lot of sand but I think we could potentially make it work the benefit of course of the crafting grid here and

Someone is saying use the wallet that’s not a bad idea actually can I put these in I actually don’t know how this um works with the wallet in your off hand shift right click scraps in your main hand to add them to the wallet shift right click to

Remove so I put this here I put this here shift right click and it kind of deposits them into the into the wallet it does look at that we got 64 Relic scraps in our wallet fantastic so we can kind of condense all of these down and

It only takes up one slot in our system the benefit of this system is that now we can go ahead and craft inside of here so if I wanted to craft a chest I could go ahead and click this button if we don’t have the logs for a chest I can

Instead go ahead and just type in O and we don’t have any logs in here of course the logs are elsewhere but if I wanted to craft something I can just shift click the recipe straight from ji and it will pull from all of the items that we

Have as opposed to pulling from just the items in our inventory which makes it substantially easier for us to craft things going forward again if we want to make a chest now I can just click here and it will grab those items from the system and if I didn’t I could just grab

The logs craft the planks and then do the same thing anywhere which makes it so much easier to do stuff and it also makes it just so much easier for us to search for a particular item that we’re after which is very handy indeed real

Quick here I do think it is going to be worth making one more of these 1K storage drives so that we can kind of fully get rid of the chests here and move over to a purely digital system and you’ll see this is holding 32,000 Redstone flux and it seems to be doing

Fine like the the little generator we have here is doing just fine at keeping this going because it’s only using five red stone flux per tick which tells me that this generator is currently producing at least five my guess would be potentially 10 Redstone flux on this

Generator which is not much and if we ever want to expand the network out we’re going to need a better power source but for the time being as far as early uh systems go for storing items I think this is pretty good all right and not too long later boom there’s another

1K storage part and boom there’s another 1K storage disc and with that I think we can now dump basically everything that we have into the refined storage system and then from there we should also be able to tear down these chests as well and shift our attention over to that

Entropy manipulator so that we can progress forward with the quests into the pneumatic craft quest line look at that oh we’re so close we actually don’t have enough space again that’s probably mostly due to the fact that we’ve got a staggering amount of sand and also a lot

Of Terra Cotter as well actually which we probably don’t need I should probably look for now I’ll put the sand of the Terra Cotter into their own chest we could definitely do with getting maybe a storage draw for them at some point in the future can we make sand with the

Resource generator we can’t which is unfortunate not that we necessarily need it of course we do have a lot of um sand around us so generating it automatically not as necessary for now I’m just going to do something like this and put the sand and terracotta into here so that we

Have access to it should we need it and then in here we can put basically everything else and now we can craft exclusively from within the crafting grid so on the other side of this quest line here we need s squatz crystals these are made using this crafting

Recipe and so do we have what it takes to make this recipe the answer is yes perfect with those we can then charge them you guess it inside of the charger so if I do this that’s going to charge that cus quatz and make you guessed it

Charged cus quats and then with those we can now make fluix crystals these are made by dropping charged squats Redstone and nether quarts into a pool of water so if I take one of each of the charged s quarts nether quarts and Redstone and we drop them into the same water source

Again in the inscriber so if I put all four of those in that’s going to get us enough cus quartz dust in order to make it’s not going to make us enough we need one more actually we need one more surus quatz crystal that’s actually fine

Let me go ahead and see if we can’t craft another s squatz batch we can’t because we are once again out of nether quartz that’s fine we’ll put 32 more chunks in there we do have one nether quartz ready to go let’s do this and let’s do this to get five more cerus

Quartz crystals we’ll then put one more of those in here to get the five cerus quartz required for the quartz glass and then we also have the other four crystals now required to make the energy cell the only thing we need now is two more fluix dust which means we need two

More fluix crystals so for that we’re actually going to need just one more of the charge surus quartz which unfortunately though does mean that we need to get one more batch of C squats crystals again though thankfully they’re not too bad it looks like we are finally

That’s like the third time I’ve done that today we can do something like this get the quartz glass and from there we can go ahead and make ourself the energy cell just of course soon and is we process these three fluix crystals into fluix dust and boom there we go we have

The energy Cell nice and so now we have almost everything to make the entropy manipulator for this we need to get two iron easy enough one more flu Crystal which is kind of the easiest part of the the whole equation though I think we can just throw one of these in here to

Charge it and as soon as that’s charged we can make the fluix crystal that’s easy enough and then the slightly trickier bit which is still not particularly difficult is to make the second or third or fourth even maybe Advanced processor of the day for that we are going to need another menual

Block and we are running a little lower menal here we should probably look at setting up another strainer so we can make even more of the crystallized menual blocks here but that’s going to allow us to make hopefully one more of these of course as per usual we need get

One more silicon and in terms of silicon blend we are now completely out but we only need I think one more silicon because we can use this silicon here to make the Raw processor and then if we want to transform that we just need one more silicon for the printed silicon

Here and so we just need to make one more of the Silicon blend which thankfully for us just requires some more sand so we’ll do this we’ll make more of you we’ll put one of those into here that should hopefully somewhat quickly provide us with one more silicon

It does indeed fantastic with that chant we can take our silicon press you guessed it place it in here do one of these grab ourselves a printed silicon and then if we combine that with the the Redstone and the raw Advanced processor boom boom boom that gets us the final

Piece of the puzzle to make the entropy manipulator here which is going to allow us to rapidly heat or cool a block and transform it into something else in this scenario I believe that it’s iron that we’re going to want to transform let me go ahead craft this guy up and if we

Want to begin with the compressed iron section of the questbook here it’s a shift right click a block of iron with an entropy manipulator to obtain compressed iron so if we do something like this we can take the of iron we can place it down the shift right click with

The entropy manipulator that does not work although I assume that if we place in the charger so that did get extracted very quickly if I break this pipe real quick I do believe we should be able to use the charger to charge this yeah you can see

At the top there it is charging the entropy manipulator slowly but surely it’s currently one % charged which is not particularly charged I actually don’t know how charged it needs to be the answer is not very charged very small amount of charge is required in

Order to make that work and we now have compressed iron there are I’m fairly certain better ways for us to get compressed iron in the future we did only get three from a full block of iron that’s not tremendously bad because of course we do have uh basically unlimited

Iron coming in down here although we do have a problem now where the iron and Lapis is backing up in the extract Tator because the fact uh because of the fact that the draw is full we can try and mitigate that by making a a draw upgrade

If we go to an storage draws there are these upgrades along the top here and we can probably quite easily make an iron upgrade which is a tier 2 upgrade uh this increases the base storage value by four times so instead of being able to hold 1,24 it’ll be able to hold

4,096 to make it we just need sticks iron and an upgrade template the upgrade template is just sticks and a drawer we do have another one of those one by two drawers from earlier that we don’t need and with that we can make an iron upgrade which we can place into this

Draw to allow the lapis to fill up but then also to allow us to get all that excess iron out of here as well which we can then continue to put into our blast Brick furnace over here to continue producing more iron of course there is

Some ultimation work still to be done on that front we could definitely do with with trying to Ultimate that entire setup even if we have to do something like we’ve done over here where we have just a hopper feeding Co in to make sure that it’s always running which we could

Definitely do because Co is also fairly easy for us to come by but I think that’s definitely something worth investing in and I’m hopeful that somewhat soon potentially in the next episode we’re going to get our pressure chamber up and running and we might be able to look at automating the

Production of the menal chunks here utilizing the pressure chamber and that lapis so we can start putting that lapis to use because right now it’s just backing up and kind of going nowhere but we can hopefully start crafting that utilizing it uh to make menal chunks using those menal chunks to make things

Here now so currently our best chicken I believe is like this guy 565 and then our second breast chicken I think is this guy 445 so we can take the 445 and breed that with the 565 we can also breed the uh 223 here with the 233 again just to

Get another strong chicken this guy is 355 and this guy over here is 667 so we’re very much on our way to getting super chickens of course now we got two of these we can breed these two guys together because they are now the best and we can continue breeding the other

Guys together to to keep giving us even more chickens that we can together of course to continue to push towards that eventual goal of getting 10 10 10 on at least one chicken so that we can then look at automating the production of certain resources like potentially coal

Which again kind of solves the iron problem uh I’m still not sure how we automate wheat over here utilizing the pneumaticcraft mod but I’ve been told that it’s possible and so I’m going to have to figure out how that works I think we do it with

Drones these guys right here I think we can use collector drones and maybe harvesting drones that makes sense actually these guys could quite be possible I do see quests here to make the turbine blades and the turbine rotors which looks like they are parts of the Drone Quest here and this doesn’t

Actually seem too bad Redstone gold and compressed iron and so so long as we have power for it an Airborne robot which harvests any fully grown crop within a 17 x 17 x 17 area centered around the deployment position when placed on an inventory will pick up a ho

Manage 17 x 17 x 17 is a massive area so we could potentially set up a huge Wheat Farm area um a little further outside of the compound if we really wanted to get a lot of wheat coming in a lot of wheat seeds that is coming in for all of our
