Did you know that gravel is renewable it’s very useful for what it makes today I’m going to show you how to find and use gravel in Minecraft Gravel is a gravity affected block which you can see right here and it can be found in many different locations it is quite abundant So this of course is a river it’s also found in ponds in Shallow oceans quite abundantly in Windswept grally Hills at the bottom of normal cold and Frozen oceans as well as their deep variants in Stony Shore biomes and attempting to generate up to 160 block blobs underground 14 times per chunk you’ll Also find gravel as part of cold ocean ruins along with suspicious gravel which I won’t be covering in this video but you can check out another one the same goes goes for trail ruins you will find gravel within them something you’re going to have to dig out a lot of and Suspicious gravel as well in the nether you will find gravel along the shoreline of Lava Lakes but not in crimson and warped forests as you can see it can be quite a lot but be careful because it is affected by gravity and uh you can fall Into the lava if you make a mistake and here’s where it becomes renewable you can barter with piglins in the nether uh they will sometimes give you gravel not all the time so you’re going to have to keep trying but if you make a pigin bartering Farm you know you will get a Good amount of gravel you can pick up gravel with anything but the shovel is the fastest as you can see it is pretty quick now I did get mainly just gravel but you can also get flint if you have fortune on your shovel you will increase your chance of getting Flint I have Fortune two on this shovel which gives me a 25% chance of getting Flint it is 100% chance if you have fortune 3 there are two things that you can craft with gravel first is coarse dirt right here and the other is concrete powder you can Use any kind of dye to make it different colors novice level Fletchers will have a chance to buy an emerald and 10 gravel for 10 Flint because gravel is affected by gravity it does have some interesting properties so if you break this all of that is going to fall but if you have Blocks below that are not full blocks such as pointed dripstone this is what happens it’ll drop the actual blocks themselves like this if gravel drops on a mob this is what happens they will suffocate oddly you can actually grow bamboo on gravel that’s about the only Thing that you can grow on gravel above ground underwater kelp will grow on gravel when you’re Mining and you have a lot of gravel overhead if you do that it breaks right but if you can be very quick and place a torch down the blocks will drop that makes it So much easier and faster if you have a large amount of gravel to go through have you encountered suspicious gravel let me know in the comments below check out the video on the left to learn more about suspicious gravel and sand we’ll see you next time bye-bye Video Information
