All right what is going on guys i’m your host here unspeakable and today we’re going to be taking a look at this awesome mod called the glacier mod it’s really weird and also really cool at the same time it’s basically going to add a whole new ice dimension in your

Minecraft but it’s not just a normal ice dimension you’re going to have to have a portal to travel to it and it’s also going to add in all these new ores all these new tools and all these new amazing and awesome stuff so first off i

Am going to show you all how to get into the ice dimension so first off if you’re in survival you are going to need to take all these snowballs put them around kind of like you’re crafting a furnace and then put a diamond in the middle and

That will give you these magic stone pieces it will give you four of them then you’re going to take four of these magic stone pieces and you’re going to take out this glacier magical stone and you’re going to need enough of those to create a portal and then you’re going to

Need a magic stone piece and an iron ingot and that will give you a magic portal switcher basically it’s just a normal lighter but it’s for this special thing so once you get your glacier or glacial magic stones you’re going to put it in a normal portal like just act like

You’re building a normal nether portal and then you’re going to take your magic portal switcher and you’re going to light it like you would like a normal nether portal and after that of course you go in to go ahead and jump into here and as you can see it is going to spawn

You in that was kind of a weird way to spawn me and it kind of dropped me from the sky so hopefully it doesn’t do the same for y’all um as you can see you cannot walk through this but if you do this i’m pretty sure you should be able

To get back but anyways let’s go ahead and explore this mod a little bit and i’ll show you all some of the ores some of the special things you can do now some of this stuff isn’t too useful like um for example this i’m i don’t

Think you can craft anything out of it and for example like the grass you can’t really do anything with it i mean it’s just grass and dirt i mean what can you do with grass and dirt in the normal minecraft i mean you can build houses

Out of it and stuff but it’s really not that useful um the main things that are going to be useful in this mod are going to be the ores but before i get to any farther on this mod i want to show y’all where to get all this stuff in creative

So if you’re in your normal creative menu you will see if you installed the mod properly you will see this thing at the top it says one out of three so that’s page one at three if you go to the second page and you’ll have all your

Stuff right here so you’re gonna have your blocks decorations bluestone transports transport transporting um then you’re gonna have that you’re going to have your materials your brewing your combat your tools and your food so if we look this is obviously going to be all your blocks this is going to be some

Decorations as you can see if we just go through here and look at all this stuff as you can see there’s going to be all your tools and armor right there and i will show you all how to craft that stuff and how to get it after we do a

Little bit more exploring so one thing i want to see is obviously you’re going to have these new types of mobs too so you’re going to have these um yeah there’s no more okay i was just checking um you’re going to have a spawn a glacial turtle so if i spawn this in

Actually let me go ahead and turn it off peaceful as you can see this turtle is pretty freaking amazing first off i absolutely am in love with turtles so they are really freaking cool and obviously he is going to be a mob because he wouldn’t spawn in peaceful so

He’s obviously probably going to hurt you and then these obviously spawn when i was not in peaceful because you could see them over there so these probably will not hurt you at all you might be able to have them as pets if you ask me and then you’re going to have these pink

Ones which are absolutely crazy and looks like the turtle is a little having some fun with the penguin but anyways the penguins are have to be one of the best parts and also you slide around the ice as you can see i just kind of slide around and also you’re going to have

Your uh miss what does that say mysterious glacial seeker so this guy is a kind of weird kind of ice man and he’s probably going to end up throwing snowballs at you i mean he has snowballs in his hand he’s also going to have some armor on this turtle won’t stop freaking

Following me okay and then you’re going to have your other glacial seekers um these are just normal glacier seekers and then these are like mysterious ones i really don’t know what’s the difference i mean i’m assuming this one’s going to be more powerful i guess i’m not 100 sure but um anyways moving

On let’s go ahead and look at some of the ores and show y’all how y’all craft some of the ore so if we get away and just throw all this stuff out of our inventory as you can see if we go around and just look around as

You can see this is kind of what the new world that you’re going to spawn into will look like i mean it’s basically just going to look like that i’m assuming you’ll probably find some mountains and some cave systems which you will find the oars if not you then

You’ll probably have to end up just digging into the ground and starting a little mine shaft and looking for the oars but anyways let’s go ahead and show you the ore so if we go to the blocks while we’re in creative we have the ice ore and we have the

Glacial crystal ore so let’s go ahead and find a good place to set these we’ll just go right over here and then so here is going to be the ice ore and then the glacial crystal ore now i believe when you break these it is going to give you

These other things which should be um it should be the crystals so when you break the ice ore actually no when you break the crystal or it should give you the crystals and then and then when you break the ice ore it should give you the compact ice and then

To use these you can use these to craft your different types of tools and stuff but you’re also going to need to craft these crystal rods and stuff which i believe you craft them craft them with just two pieces of crystal so let’s see if that

Will work let’s go ahead and pull out a crafting table i’m not 100 sure because there is a lot of crafting recipes and the reason why i’m kind of not 100 sure about all this stuff is because the creator of this mod did not list any thing in the description of crafting

Recipes so that’s why i’m kind of having to figure it out myself okay so as you can see you’re going to get your crystal rods by doing that and then let’s see if we can go ahead and take some crystals so yeah so i’m kind of just guessing at

The crafting recipes i mean i did play a lot around a little bit with this before i got into it but yeah as you can see this is how you’re going to craft your crystal pickaxes and stuff like that so let’s go ahead and craft a

Um sword and see how much attack damage is oh 22 attack damage that is absolutely crazy i believe a diamond sword has five attack damage so that is pretty crazy and then you’re going to do the exact same things with the ice mods i mean the not ice mod but you’re gonna

Do the exact same thing with the ice and that will give you the ice tools and armor and stuff like that so that is pretty cool and you’re also going to have these things i’m not 100 sure what in the heck these things do but it’s going to give you this turtle armor

It’s really weird and i have no idea how you craft it because like i said the creator of this mod doesn’t have any crafting recipes in the description of his mod so as you can see i just put all this armor on and i kind of look like a

Turtle as you can see so that’s actually pretty cool let me go ahead and change the time so it doesn’t get all dark on me but as you can see that is actually pretty weird so we take it off as you can see i got like this turtle

Shell thing and it’s really freaking weird and you’re also going to have lots of other stuff you’re also going to have flowers you can have like fences and stuff like that so let me see if i can place that down a little bit okay i’m gonna five

More need to get out of that so as you can see you’re gonna have these fences it’s just gonna be like your normal world but with ice so everything’s basically the same except it’s just going to be switched over with ice so also you’re going to have a saber-toothed cat meat which i’m

Assuming you’re going to get from these little cats right here from killing them then you’re going to have the cooked meat and then obviously you’re going to have to cook the meat to get the cooked meat so what else is there let’s go ahead and check we already went over

Most of the armor and the mysterious body i’m assuming you’re going to get this when you kill that mysterious uh glacier dude i don’t i don’t know where he went but anyways uh there’s also going to be doors stuff like that and yeah so basically that is going to

Be about it um if you would like to explore the rest of the mod you can obviously do it yourself it is a definitely fun and awesome mod the reason i don’t have every single crafting recipe is because i honestly don’t know him you might be able to find

A mod review that shows him or maybe it’s on the minecraft forum it might show it on the minecraft forum because the download that i was looking at is on planet minecraft and it doesn’t have any any crafting recipes at all which is actually really unusual but that’s

Actually most of the mod i mean i showed y’all most of it i’ve showed you how to craft the tools i showed you all how to get here i will show you how to craft all the armor and that’s pretty much it most of the other stuff is just like uh
