Hey guys lately I have been wanting to play Minecraft with my friends but I don’t want to have to pay the monthly fee for buying a room after researching all other ways I found out that it is possible to play Minecraft with friends on a LAN server Lance stands for local Area network in this video I will be showing you how to join a LAN server with friends at no cost so first of all we’re gonna open up minecraft which I have hi live in here and just a side note I’m in Minecraft version 1.15 dot One I’m pretty sure that it works in all microc versions but you have to make sure that you and your friend are both in the same exact version alright so first we’re going to open this needle player top and so to create a new world then you can change whatever settings You want here um you’re done click create and now wait for it to load once you have loaded into the world press escape on the keyboard and that will open up with pause menu and then select the open to LAN button right here and select whatever your settings you Want your friend to be in to like you can make it spectator mode creative mode adventure etc and then cheats on or off when you finished say start land world and as you can see in shot we have this five digit land number now make sure you remember this number as you’ll be Needing it later after you have opened your game to land you’re going to want to find your IP address to do this go up to the top left where you see this Apple icon and select that and then say System Preferences in the drop down menu Now you’re going to want to go to network and then in the bottom right click advanced and this number right here will be your IP address and you want to make sure you remember this number now you’re gonna want to hop onto your friends computer and open minecraft Once it is running select multiplayer and then in the bottom select drop connect now in here we’re going to put in the information we saw previously so first we’re going to put in our IP address so mine was 192.168.1 4.13 1 yours of course will be different and Then you want to have a colon right here right after the ipv4 address and the colon is followed by that land number you received when you opened your game to LAN so mine was five zero seven four over one and you’re gonna say joined server alright so I put that information In on my friend’s computer and soon you will see right there Rover what please join the game so this is how you can play Minecraft your friends absolutely free all right thank you guys for watching if you would like to see more you can visit my blog Link in the description and if you’d like to subscribe and it helped me out a lot thank you Video Information

In this tutorial, I explain how it is possible to play with friends via a Java edition LAN server on Minecraft. A quick summary of how to play Minecraft with friends on a LAN world: First, go into a Minecraft singleplayer world, then click “Open to LAN” in the pause menu. Remember the number that shows up in the chat. Also, locate your IPV4 Address. Then, on your friend’s computer, go into the “Multiplayer” tab, and select direct connect. Put in the IPV4 Address that you found, followed by a semicolon, then the LAN number that you found when you opened the Minecraft game to LAN. Then have them join, and you will now be in a multiplayer game in Minecraft, with your friend using a LAN connection.
