here with me today we have mr niensen where’s dracon he’s a very purple Was that you yeah there was wow it was like thrack had gone and some russian guy had come and stepped into the chat instead what wow oh my god again do it again do it again um do it again do it again you have no idea how much i I um it’s um how do you say ah damn it say russian maybe it’s not bloody russian now my head hurts shall we do some stuff on the utopia cubed server yes please um hey do you want to join a secret guild um it’s only for people who can talk in a Rush and access oh arusha axe i can’t see the rush i can’t do it i’m out i can’t i can’t even join my own secret order of mages bloody hell bloody hell okay do i bloody hell right you see that tower up there the big obtrusive overhanging impossible tower up there Yeah that’s the secret base it’s so secret it’s there right in front of everybody nobody knows it’s a secret base it’s the best kind of secrets in your facebook secrets in your face kind of secret uh i do want to talk to you about doing this area around here But okay first i want to show you something fun i i want to show my viewers that something i’ve done and you may as well be my guinea pig come on follow me it’s fine come on bring the new guy sure why not bring the new guy To the party he doesn’t know any better than just to follow you wherever you’re taking him on a wild goose chase to be a guinea pig for some crazy experiment that brit has planned out come on right um this is all obviously not yet finished obviously obviously not yet finished but I have started and made a little bit of progress on this area over here oh oh check out this place this is the mage tower or the entrance to the mage tower um it’s just beginning of course i’ve still got lots of things to fill in and Do things around the place but it’s got a nice little um outside patio balcony um battlements battlements it’s got a nice battlements outside and a nice little windy stairwell but this is not if you look out the window uh actually sit down if you have a look out of the window you’ll see That we are nowhere near that mystical secret tower the secret tower is just through there but how do you get there oh this is the secret bit try putting that book into this far end bookshelf over here oh did you hear that i heard something oh Look at this over here a secret entrance to a secret tower but threat look look you’ve got to learn the code all right come back over it right you’ve just used the secret door but it’s not a secret door if you leave it bloody open is it i see It that’s it that’s better you use the lever and that overrides it and when you want to get out you use the lever again that overrides it back again and then you take the book out of the shelf okay kiki are you are you near us kiki shush you don’t know you’re not Listening i’ve got picture a picture up kiki’s uh kiki’s just outside kiki’s outside the flash she’s she can’t see me she doesn’t know where we are creep past the window through into the tower oh i forgot about the big hole in the roof for people to be able to get into No look at her she’s flying over not that tower kiki the next door next door tower the new one with the hole in the roof that one yeah there we go ow she just got down and smacked me in the face with a little batwing she just flapped me in the face Oh made up for it i’m sorry though kiki i’m a vegetarian a drinker a druid vegetarian in in any other let’s play i’ll eat steak all the time but in this let’s play i am a druid no i don’t eat bones love i eat apples and fruit and stuff i’m not bones Throw a bone at me no you’re throwing sticks for me i’ve got bones being thrown away sticks thrown at me i’m a dog i don’t think i’ve even killed a dog to be able to transfer a bark you know like a three-part and this is of course the private uh Secure chambers of the mages guild um overlooking everything on this big mini map big mini map uh it it didn’t quite line up the way i was intending it to really yeah i can see that but that might you you couldn’t actually line up could you I mean this one would have to go right here i would have to make some of the maps bigger i think i’d have to make them all slightly bigger and realign them all but that’s all i had time to do in prep for the episode because of all the building i’ve done so This this is the secret mages tower anyway i’m going to be putting uh kiki now you get that pig off your head oh that’s headset she’s got a pig on her head oh i’ve got a hat on my head i’ve got a little english men’s bowler hat on my head Oh dear this is a very serious establishment i’ll have you know this is a mages guild a place for learning and very intelligent people so a bane mask now that’s it is that a gag that’s why she’s so quiet folks she can’t speak right now because she’s just listening to us um Um yeah so this is going to be the secret place where you can come and do a little bit of magic study if you’re away from home presumably you’ll have your own bases and you’ll have your own place to set up your full magic area but this is Sort of like the secret little magic stash at spawn so you’ll be able to do a little bit of studying over here you’ll be able to use some of the okay i can’t look at you when i’m trying to talk um yes what was i saying uh there’ll be Various resources and materials and things over here for you to use when you need to use them okay um it’s just for show yeah are you sure yeah i was thinking are you sure everything is going to um how do you say fit uh yeah but not that not like Everything just a few little supplies uh kiki out that secret door at the secret door there you go right there we go and uh now do you know how to make a redstone book uh no a redstone book is a book with a redstone torch in a crafting grid that’s All it is okay so it wasn’t the the case itself that was special it’s the book uh the case itself is only special because of the book that goes okay it allows the book to uh transmit a redstone signal through the game yeah yeah and and i think uh It’s where you put the book it sends uh different strengths of redstone signal yeah yeah i think it only works if it’s like after one block because it it literally sends it into this block here and then a repeater pulls it out of that block there yeah And triggers the rest of it so it only needs to give it a one signal basically nice and simple uh but it’s all nice and hidden and all secret okay absolutely absolutely we don’t know anything it’s not recorded nobody else knows in the world apart from us Three and everybody else i choose to include in this little major guild um so we should have a little sleep and go and have a quick talk about some gardening and then get set up for the second part of this episode so we’ve got this official road going through here Which has taken the place of your rather scruffy unofficial road oh okay my world was scruffy i get it i didn’t no no it’s okay it’s okay i mean look this is just like somebody just empty the cart on the floor or something yeah it’s meant to be like Rural donuts there are farms nearby yeah but that this is the middle of the citadel the city is emerging no we are on the outside outskirts already that goes to the cathedral through there through there through there’s outskirts out there that way okay after the gates this is A little city park right a little tiny park a pocket of nature that’s going to get cut off about here so where where the road ends yeah that’s pretty much where civilization is going to absolutely concrete over everything and make it all stone bricks and stuff Medieval style yes so the only bit we’ve got is from this section here your hobbit hole around and through and over to this section here so it’s a really small little place basically around this ancient tree of wonder and awesomeness that is encased in concrete okay because they had to protect the roots Because they wanted to yeah of course where did that russian go bring that russian back the russian the russian man was very nice um and i’ve got a little britannia area just set up over here just enough to fill up this which has done a really good job since my last episode It’s filled up this mana pool completely and i’ve had to put a second mana pool down for it to fill up what does uh i have i never played with botania what’s what’s a mana spreader mana pool and diluted manipur these day blooms are like solar panels This mana spreader is like a pipe but the mana spreader just sends a beam of the manner to another object uh i think i got my bag actually let me show you this you pick up that wand and hold it and you will see the spreader spreading or pointing manner you can Right click on things and it’ll tell you what’s activated and it’ll show you connections and things there’s no guise involved in britannia but it’ll show you what’s connected to what so all of these day blooms are in range of this spreader and this spreader would beam up to 16 blocks Um i think it’s actually effective up to like 12 or something so this pool right next to it is very close but it could beam it off in different directions it can also be angled so you can angle the block the spreader using that wand to point it where you Want it to go and if it hits another thing that it can interact with like a pool or another spreader it can then pass on the mana to the next item along and that next item can be a spreader that points it somewhere else you can make like a chain Of laser lights around the place to get it to where you need it to go so it’s a nice interesting way of transferring power of magic and then you use the mana in various things you throw things into the pool and it pops back out fully charged with mana and things like that It’s very cool very cool so this to the mana pool and the diluted menopause um the mana diluted mana pool is what you first make and the mana pool is a diluted mana pool that has been dropped into the manner and comes back out the second tier manipule so it’s Better uh yes it holds more i think that’s the idea holds more okay thank you so this is really the only little place that i have designed for the britannia bit of mana gathering so that other people can come and use this mana pool which is always Loaded because it’s spawn so it’s always filling so people can come and recharge when they’re in town instead of having to recharge back at home another little trick for the mages guild hi teddy hello you just got done eating some potato soup so i am happy happy yummy by the way we are Recording so you don’t swear we need to never do we do that thing okay so what do you want for the rest of the garden well sort of nature it’s a garden i don’t know i don’t know whether to make it look like it’s rural As in it’s in the middle of the wilds or make it very very um english country garden all prim and proper and everything in flower beds and in its place and all nice and neat and tidy but i figured as it’s like your front garden You would have sort of the final say in how it looks just put it all on you that’s it all done all right i do the building you can do the gardening that’s fine absolutely yeah before we get started here i just want to tell my subscribers that Um i am going to move very soon from this hobbit hall to somewhere near uh kiki she accepted me to move basically in a tower next to her base that’s all i wanted to say you’re so excited you’re peeing yourself jesus look here when you do that you’re Peeing yourself you’re going to be living close to the queen and now you’re peeing in your pants okay so excited so excited he’s using it the people that we who hang around with yeah wow hail to the queen oh queen’s giving me snacks okay then um no no i’ll try and do something With this basically some leaves i’ll i’ll find something i’ll definitely find something yeah um i might not not be as happy with this concrete well change it then yeah we’ll see this is going to be a little druid’s shop why it’s right next to the britannia Thing so i just need a little bit of a path through to get to this section from the druid shop and we need the path the main path to the bridge and down here and up there was that it yeah one piece of cobble okay you can have another piece of darn It ah thank you i wanted to wipe my feet up when i’m coming back in from the garden yeah i don’t have anything on you like literally to build i have just crap well future then future episodes we’ll just lay it all out plan it all out here Yeah what what are you saying about like for the the bridge over here what were you saying just to make sure it’s connected to the path like this still just so it’s not obstructed by anything so whatever it’s going to lead to i don’t know what it’s doing yet i don’t know Where it’s going i believe it’s going up to muka’s place i wouldn’t expect it going to be space so this is like his front door so you’ve got to be aware you’re speaking up mm-hmm you’ve got to be just i have no idea where that’s going It’s it’s got to go to muka’s place because he’s got his little place up there that’s the only direction it can be going but it’s there and it needs to be sort of respected that it needs to be pruned back any foliage that may be overhanging it or getting in the way Um i don’t understand what are you requesting to modify to it what’s what’s this i’m requesting that you don’t modify it oh i see it so make sure that you don’t block the access ways and things like that just to make sure people get through yeah yeah lava everywhere okay And of course there’s this hobbit hole here which uh could be a lava pool it would be there’ll be lights with it i’m trying to get the bloody step into trying to get that sapling to grow into an uber massive sapling yeah it doesn’t kiki’s having to go with the boat meal Don’t want to go uh and bear in mind that at the end of the path here is meant to be sort of like from that rock face behind you to this sort of cliff side here is likely to be where nature has to stop and everything becomes um stone castle like market square With buildings and shops and stuff except for the garden except for the garden so it’s sort of like where the path ends between these two points is where something like a wall is going to go who is that was that that’s my dog the poor dog teddy dog yeah They were trying to make me fetch sticks earlier oh well that was earlier on that was uh thrack and kiki having a bit of fun around the garden areas uh playing about getting getting more projects underway just playing enjoying the game enjoying playing around on the server together and that is what It’s all about isn’t it that’s what it’s all about having a load of fun with the mod pack and that is one of the things that we enjoy the most let’s get eight of those that’s cool uh yeah recipes and stuff for things that i’m doing now just a bit of uh A bit of stuff for thorncraft getting this mages guild the secret mages guild sorted slightly more uh three oh under three one two three one three three three there we go all right that that little inventory bug that i said was inventory tweaks i don’t think it is inventory tweaks Because i’ve uh taken inventory tweaks out of my client side and it’s still doing the silly thing so i don’t know what it’s doing uh but hey ho uh oh i need some petals first um we’re gonna get our basic setup for uh thorncraft sorted out All right so this i figured this top floor would be sort of a research area and down here would be more of a cauldron brewing uh storage area one of the things i got these for in fact i’m gonna use these compact drawers down here these ones down here Uh is to put these on like so now there’s a little bit of a graphical glitch with these at the minute from this side you can see these little red bars from this side you cannot it only seems to happen on these little drawers not the bigger drawers i don’t know why That is um it’s something to do with the mod i presume uh but i’m gonna keep a lookout for updates and try and get that changed because it’s right on that angle and it’s very annoying to see that especially because you’re going to be coming down the stairs and seeing that First that’s pretty annoying uh these these things order shards okay so you right click to place them in a draw like a jabber barrel you left click to take them out one at a time yeah right click to put them in nice and simple to put them away And so we can do some more of this well put all these away and i just thought it’d be nice to have the storage like that and this sort of stuff can go away as well it’s kind of like a little uh a little storage area just for putting stuff Away and i’m gonna have some chests down underneath here and stuff like that as well so overall this is like a little storage base down here but this is where we’re actually going to be doing stuff i know about your secret tower girl with hats thank you very much kiki thank you very Much um right so on to doing a bit of thorncraft to get started now and just quickly deciding where i want this to go because this first one’s going to be a two wide gap like that and maybe we’ll have the one thing there yeah i think that’ll work And if i take my thumb and nominal gun and a wand uh the first thing you do is put the scribing tools on the two wide desk and that makes a desk that you can then access all of your bits and pieces and you can combine all these and all that sort of Stuff i’m gonna do that myself a bit later on um you can just literally have one of those on one of those and press combine but i’m pretty sure that there’s an optimal way of doing that and the more i scan everything i scan with that thor meter gives us More elements that we can combine so and the more elements i’ve combined the more things i understand so the more things i can scan it’s a kind of a really cool research system and this one i think i just need to tap that with a wand yeah There we go right click it with the wand it places the wand inside the table and it becomes like a magic crafting table and the magic crafting table allows us to make items that may need the charge of a wand and that iron thing has got a capacity of 25 it used to say how much it holds of stuff maybe i have to still find nodes to do that that’s right i can do that i’ve got to find nodes to recharge wands and things like that but this is just a quick area for people to use when they’re visiting spawn and Doing something around spawn so that’s all i really needed and i figured i’d put a few draws around like here maybe uh maybe a chest down there and a chest down there so draws above can i put drawers on there will that look bad i don’t think it will actually let’s do that I can put scribing tools in there as well then so scrubbing tools basically on the desk and i don’t want to put ink i think i’ll put something like paper i can’t get out that way can i oh yeah i can there we go uh i want to bring all of my Sort of supplies and stuff into the little mages tower for now uh we’ve got paper we’ve got feathers and we’ve got glass for glass bottles uh i think i’m just gonna have to drink all these glass bottles uh they should stack in these uh these little things they should stack in them I think let’s have a look because they’re a bit like jabber barrels so they should stack uh can i stack them yes i can okay so they stack but they don’t quick click in ah it will only let me have two in there okay well that’s that and then we’ll have Feathers and we’ll have paper so the things that are essentially for researching will go there give me that silly little line again though maybe i should have it up in the corner here or on the side so you hardly ever get into the angle that you’ll see it at Hmm yeah i’m going to mess around with that a little bit more but now you know what we’re doing how we’re making things uh could potentially just have one there yeah that would do and we went over the door just to cover that little bit of a change between the stone There which looked a bit odd in line with all of that stuff i put something over the top there don’t know what yet but something um maybe another one in that corner over there oh man i’ve got double double lines on that one hmm give me that back Effective tool axe and then it broke oh my word the these really cool new mods don’t always do what they’re supposed to do but it’s fun trying new stuff and it’s fun trying out new mods when you can and yeah that’ll do so i’ve now got A bit of research to do i’ve got my uh wizards table my thermonomicon i’ve got my lexicapetania and i’ve also got started on the blood magic and as you may have seen out here the blood magic altar has now sort of got set into the floor Up there so i’ve still got my blood inside it still there still useful i can still keep doing the sacrifices and stuff and start on the blood magic and i’m just gonna do a little bit more pottering around in here making a few more bits and pieces I want to uh stack this place out like a library full of books and the like uh and get all of that up and running i’ve got a little bit of leather so i can make a bit of books but i can always go down to ego’s cow farm and pick up Some more alrighty well this is uh this is the back of my head this is the end of another episode on the utopia cubed server thank you very much for watching once again the mages guild is coming along nicely um i’m still going to be focused on britannia being a druid but I’m just gonna get on with all the other little bits and pieces like i’ve said before and do this little cool build thing uh because we basically completed britannia in the first part of a druid’s tale i’ve just got to do it all again and come up with some really cool new Ideas and inventions for them i have been looking around and there’s a few people that i know are coming up with some really cool things um for britannia yeah automations and stuff so i’ll be having a look to see if i can use those designs giving credit where credit’s due obviously And try and make a few cool things out and about when we get out in the world but for right now we’re gonna try mixing britannia and other magics oh yes a druid’s tail just got
