ello everyone 👋 . My names Conner the founder of Vanilla Multiplayer. I’m here to give a quick run down on the server!
Vanilla Multiplayer features a a variety of Vanilla+ features that we believe increases the online playing experience of Minecraft while still staying true to our name. We believe in a fun and simple Minecraft Online experience while holding relevenant to the base game! For starters we have a couple of commands added in to increase the collaboration aspect of Minecraft.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
/tpa: Send a teleport request to other players.
/tpaaccept: Accept a teleport request.
/ignore (player): Removes all the players chat messages from popping up.
/playtime: View how long you’ve played on the server.
/worldage: View how old the world is.
/vote: Sends a list of links to vote for the server.
/discord: Discord linking commands.
/pvp: Turn on or off PvP for yourself.
/report: Report a grief.
/lock: Lock an inventory you’re looking at.
/unlock: Unlock an inventory you’re looking at.
The rest of the commands can be found in-game via /help.
On top of the various commands mentioned above, we have included an inventory locking plugin. We know how it feels to leave an inventory unlocked so with that being said we have introduced a plugin that will automatically lock all of your inventories. Be careful though, if you trust a player or you’ve unlocked a chest and someone stole all your items, there’s nothing we can do . Failure to lock an inventory, or leaving a chest unprotected (i.e. not surrounded with blocks) will be completely fair game.
Another feature we’ve introduced is the PvP toggle system. I know how annoying it is to run around the world, grind for hours, then have a naughty player come and rip your items from you. In order to prevent this pvp can be toggled for yourself which in turns stops you from attacking other players. In order to prevent someone from toggling pvp mid fight, there is a cooldown. Now, with that being said lava buckets, pushing, etc is still allowed as long as it doesnt turn into griefing, (i.e pvp toggled off & a player lava blocks you in your house, this is considered griefing). All players with PvP toggled on will have red particles around them.
Furthing the collaborative experience of Minecraft Multiplayer, I’ve added in Proximity Chat. This is simple to use, all you have to do is link your discord account in-game and join the proxmity chat channel. This will allow you to use proximity chat.
