Hello and welcome to trackbill where today we are going to look at the third and possibly final part of the ancient Roman theme guys I hope you all right I hope you’ll write and I will tell you this there is actually a bonus episode coming out in a couple of days that Concerns this villa because it’s actually only half of the villa of the equal size a bit that goes on the end here and in the bonus episode we’re going to have a short look at that and also at the combined villa now a Roman villa that’s the place where somebody in The in the country a land owner in the country with it so a farmer basically and wealthy farmer and normally and in some cases very very rich people would buy a lot of land inside of Rome and build their own we’re out there as well but that would have been extremely Uncommon now this building has the same bog pads as the previous tombs so but either disregarded the die right because I’m feeling that this is a a person who takes care of their house properly so we have the courts and we have the white concrete powder and the jungle wood Slabs and stairs to the roof now this looks like a box house by the way and it’s not my fault guys that’s what they look like and yeah we have an entrance here it’s quite pompous entrance with an arch leading into a little four year where You can hang your clothes and stuff like that and you have some decorations as well then that leads straight into the central heart of the building which is this open area with a pool some greenery and some columns or pillars and from that all sorts of rooms lead out and so This would have been sort of the heart of the house where you go through several times a day to get from one function of the house to another basically and yeah we’re going to go through the rooms a little bit quickly as well but I will say one thing first And that is that two exits in the back here and they connect to the rest of the house so starting over here we have a the main bedroom I want to say and it’s really decorated they have this little interesting so far I don’t know what This type of sofa is called actually in English and but it’s basically a combination of a sofa an ax and a white chair you might say they have a bed and a bedside table and suma bleah they have some bedclothes and stuff of that in there across the hall there is there a Sitting room of the living room they have another one of these from tables painting they can paint some more if they’ve been so desire and they can hang some stuff up on the walls the next room is their office space they have some important paperwork they can do more Paperwork here and they can sit and read a good book mmm next up we have the dining room and it’s a little bit cramped to be honest and I think in a actual roman villa this would have been a bigger room but you know We’re in a chunk here so we can only do so much it’s fairly straightforward they have some chairs where they lay in eat at the table this is a preparation area so they would cooking there to prepare their food in here or hold their food here and then serve it over here So then you know that already that this is the kitchen to probably do with a bit of water and some more decoration in here I must have forgotten that bit sorry about that guys and the final room is another bedroom you can see this may be the kids bedroom or servants bedrooms Or something like that although to be fair no service would have lived in the second part of this house so I think that’s about it what I really like about this house is this area here so some of this view where you have the this the column get columns going straight Through the entire house and it’s open up and it’s green and blue and oh yeah I do need to mention that the floor is a terracotta floor instead of the wooden and stone floors that we’ve had in the previous films that is simply because this is more and more of A rural colorless post and it goes through the entire house actually and what I can say about that is it’s just a random mix of the normal hardened clay and the orange and the red and that’s that’s the floor it’s just really random patterns it’s supposed to look like it And like supposed to look like that tiles you know times that you get in I’ve seen presence in Fishburne which is fairly close to where I live there is a Roman villa with this type of floor in it so there you have it guide the roman Villa part one you might call this so in a couple of days keep a lookout for the next part and me putting them together as well and and let me know in the comments do you want more bills like this where it’s divided into several Bits I know I did that with a castle as well and I’m thinking of returning to the castle making other three bits and then make a final episode where I put all the bits from the first series and for all the first theme and this second potential theme together into an actual Castle so let me know in the comments if that’s something you would like to see anyway guys so thank you for watching and I will see you next time bye bye And you Video Information

Welcome to another episode of ChunkBuild, the series where we make small chunk sized but beautiful houses! In today’s episode 12 we continue out Minecraft Ancient Rome theme, and show off a Minecraft Roman Villa! This is actually only half the villa, the other half, and the combined house, will be published tomorrow 🙂
If you lived in the country and were wealthy, you’d likely live in a Villa! They were large houses centered around one or more enclosed garden, with functions around the various rooms.
This build uses the minecraft 1.12 white concrete powder as a base, but introduces both quartz and diorite to break it up. The quartz is used for minecraft columns, and the diorite to symbolise deterioration. The build has jungle wood as the roof material, a best compromise given the lack of stairs and slab blocks in the game. Other wood uses spruce logs with variants to give that dark red feel.
This build is available to download as a structure block here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz3m8gPuag_jNnlDYmQyTkVCMUk/view?usp=sharing
To use this structure in your own world, download it and put it in the structures folder in your world save folder. Then give yourself a structure block (/give @p minecraft:structure_block), place it and set it to load, entering the file name as name.
Chunkbuild is a series where I will show three builds per theme, then go on to a new theme, ad infinitum. Each build fits in a Minecraft chunk, ergo Chunkbuild. The themes will vary tremendously, so if you don’t like a style, just give it a week or so and then check back.
In these videos I show of the build, comment on the block palette; details of the builds and show you how to do elements that are hard to build or interesting. The theme this time is Western.
