Hey guys xinji here and welcome back to another tutorial on my channel in today’s tutorial i’m going to be showing you how to build a village reader from minecraft 1.19 for minecraft java edition now i’m aware i have covered this on the channel a couple of times Before i usually tend to cover it with every update that’s coming out and i’m covering it today 119 just to let you guys know for anyone who has built this in the world before has watched my tutorial before and have built it from Me i just want to let you know in 119 it still does work so anyone who’s wondering does this still work as a 190 yes it still works with 119. i am going to be building in this video for anyone who’s new friend who’s coming back to Minecraft 119 or for anyone who just wants to watch how to build it again i will be building this video i will also be showing you how to get villagers in and out of the breeder as well as the feeding mechanics and how we feed them and i’ve got a couple of new Ideas and implementations on how we get them out and how we get them in as well also a list of the materials how to build the builder will be down in the description of the video also don’t forget to like and subscribe and also leave a comment on the video as well Because i’d love to know what you guys think this breeder is one of the easier breeders to build it originally was an impulse sv design a couple years ago now i fixed it in 116 when it actually broke and i’m going to show you how to build It here what to do is for your foundation block you want to use sort of any block you can i would always recommend glass because we’re going to be moving villagers through the blocks and builders don’t take damage through glass so i would recommend using glass So we want to do is you want to build in a sort of diamond shape just like this and then you want to make it three high on every side just like so now it doesn’t have to be three high it can be as tall as you want if you make any Tolerance iii then always remember to put a water source in that middle bottom block so when the villagers are born they fall down the sort of drop shaft here and they won’t take damage at the bottom now what you want to do is you want to take your slab and place a slab On top of each of the glass bits we’ll take our fence now with a fence always make sure you’re placing the fence off the slab and not off the glass as that will cause your problems so we’ll just place off the slab like that then we’ll Take our beds and place the beds in this direction here so make sure the pillow is always joining to the bottom of another bed because if that is not like that again it will cause issues then what we’ll do lastly is we’ll take our carpet we’ll just drop down here and Place a carpet on each of the pillows just like so if i can get that one there we go and then we’ll take our trapdoor we’ll place two drop doors in the middle just like that as sort of temporary blocks and then we’ll place trapdoors off each of the sides Just like this and then what that’ll do is that’ll actually hold the villagers or the breeding villagers in place so they’re not actually able to escape out the reader and that guy’s is the the reader actually now completely built now to get the villagers initially into the Reader in previous videos i have shown build on the platform just off the side of the beds wait until night time getting the villagers up and your minecart your boat or whatever you’ve been using then knocking them out the main cardboard and they should automatically go into the beds because It’s night now that does work 99 of the time but there is the one percent of time where villagers decide that they’re just going to wander off because they’re villagers and minecraft and that happens so i want to show you guys it’s another way of doing it that’s more of a Foolproof method to do it so what we’re going to do is we’re going to use glass again you don’t you have to use glass but i’m going to use glass just because we’re using an inch tool already what you’re going to do is you’re going to Replace a block off the top of the carpet then we’re just going to ring start bringing the glass all the way around just to make a sort of donut shape just like this never put a bit in the middle then we’re going to knock out this corner and this corner and then We’re going to build each of these sides the four sides here up by another two so they’re three high then this area right here is where we’re gonna be placing rail so bring it out just a little bit more and connect up with whatever row you’ve got on the Ground definitely use rail for this because it’s much easier then we’re just gonna place our rail down just like so and then we’re gonna take our trap door and place on the that just off the top of that block just like that so it’s flush with our actual rail right guys Once we’ve got all this built up and we’ve got our villager in a main cart waiting to come up here the last thing you’re going to want to do is take a glass block and pop off this block right here because when the villager comes up And stops right here as long as this block is a glass block they will not suffocate right what we’ll do is we’ll simulate you sort of bring in the villager up so we’ve just pushed this fellow and into the corner like this you should stop right there and what you Want to do is once they’re in the corner like that you want to then pop them out of the main cart and they’ll jump onto the trapdoor because there’s nowhere else for the villager to go because we’ve got rail here and it’s all glass here the last thing we need to do is Open the trap door and drop the villager into the actual breeder itself and this is exactly where you want the villager to be and there’s no escape for them once you’ve got two villagers in there do remember to remove all this because if this all this is intact when you’re Got your you’re trying to you know breed your villagers it won’t work just with the the space between the the breeder and the blocks above but so do remember to remove all once you have your villagers in now to get the speeder started i would always recommend giving Them a decent amount of food i would recommend giving them at least nine stacks and as from comments in previous videos i’ve made on breeders i always ask does it have to be nine stacks no you do not have to give them nine stats you can give them three stacks you can Give them five steps you can give them any amount you want as long as it’s more than twelve carrots or twelve bread or twelve beetroot or 12 potatoes for each villager because that’s the minimum you need to actually get a baby villager to spawn in as i say though i would always Recommend giving them a bit more than that because they don’t have to keep coming across and feeding them or if you’re looking for a more automatic version of this where you’ve got like a carrot farm or a you know a bread farm or whatever attached to it and it Automatically does it for you then i’ll link a video on top of the screen right now for you right i have now given all the food to the villagers now and what one thing i would say is when you’re throwing the food at the villagers make sure you’re always throwing on top of The trapdoors or the carpets because otherwise it can fold in the middle as you can see there is our baby village responding now now to get the villagers actually out with the breeder in the previous tutorial i showed you guys how to build this contraption but it was a Little bit tricky on the sort of real placement so i want to do today is i want to show you a little sort of change shall we say because this actually as i’ve discovered only works 99 of the time if a villager you know sort of spawns and drops into that corner over There sometimes the minecart when it comes through like this it goes through the block over the rail it can’t actually pick the villager up so what we’re going to do is we’re actually going to remove the block you’re going to place a slab on the bottom half and Then place the rail back down and it should connect back up and as you can see the main cart can still do its thing it can go through and it will always pick a villager up the villager will never get stuck and as you can see we Put the main car down the villager always gets picked up and this is a nice easy solution to how to get your villagers actually out of the breeder itself and that guys was how to build a villager breeder in minecraft 1.19 for minecraft jab edition if you have liked The
