The Xbox series X and Series S consoles were released several years ago and there’s still no sign of Minecraft Ray tracing for Xbox series s or Xbox series X however Ray tracing was shown off several times on these consoles first of all the Xbox series X had a demo before It was even released that showed what the next generation of consoles would be capable of and one of the main things they showed off here was Minecraft Ray tracing for the Xbox series X however this was just a demo and maybe they changed their minds but then Minecraft Also released a accidental preview for the Xbox series s and series X showing Ray tracing now this was removed as it was an accident but it did show they were at least working on it or they had previously been working on it for Minecraft Xbox series s and Xbox series X this preview did bring a lot of issues though first of all it wasn’t clear how to download resource packs onto the Xbox as there’s no official way to be able to do this you’d either have to use a LAN world a realm or download content from The marketplace as Minecraft has got rid of or are patching all of the different ways to be able to download resource packs onto the console itself now now Minecraft could of course make their own Ray tracing resource pack however this wouldn’t be the same as on Windows 10 or 11 because half of the fun of Ray tracing is being able to use Community made resource packs for it and of course you wouldn’t be able to do this if you can’t download them apart from ones on the store which maybe they’d add more resource packs of a tracing to the store As well but it was a major issue with when this preview was released as well as this Minecraft RTX Ray tracing would not be called RTX on Xbox series s or Xbox series X this in the videos brand of Ray tracing the only reason the community and myself refer to is RTX When talking about Minecraft is because a lot of the resource packs a lot of the world and a lot of the different content currently from Minecraft Ray tracing is RTX content and therefore a lot of the community know Minecraft Ray chasing as Minecraft RTX but because the video Don’t make the graphics card to the Xbox series s or Xbox series X they wouldn’t be able to optimize it they wouldn’t want to optimize Ray tracing or make Ray tracing work for the Xbox’s graphics cards and GPU so therefore Minecraft have had to and maybe Minecraft has Decided that this is too difficult or they don’t have enough staff or enough of a priority right now to make this a thing that they are working on or maybe they just decided that the console generation isn’t ready for it because Minecraft has Endless Possibilities Unlike a game where you go from point A to point B you can do pretty much anything in Minecraft which is obviously its main strength but it’s also one of the reasons that Ray tracing might be so complicated because even on Windows 10 11 there’s a lot of bugs a lot of issues And stuff with Ray tracing but console players would expect their games to be a lot more optimized to be smooth because they have a console to make gaming as easy as possible and make sure everything works outside of the box and it’s easy for them to be able to use and To be able to just get straight into a game and straight away play a game on their Xbox series s or Xbox series X consoles there was rumors that the reason that Ray tracing hasn’t been released to the Xbox series X or Series S is because the series s wouldn’t be Able to handle it and therefore Microsoft decided that they didn’t want me tracing on Minecraft as Minecraft is a huge game and people might get confused or might be upset as one of the things that these consoles is even though the Xbox series X is more powerful Microsoft want people to Believe that pretty much anything possible on the series X is also possible on the series s now this probably isn’t the reason we haven’t got Ray tracing but I thought I’d mention it it’s a rumor that I’ve heard going around Minecraft have previously tried to bring shaders to all platforms Including Pocket Edition Xbox One and PS4 at the time and all other Minecraft Bedrock Edition versions with a super duper Graphics Pack however the super duper Graphics Pack Never released to Minecraft and therefore Minecraft never got shaders because some of the lower end devices weren’t able to run it so This isn’t the first time Minecraft has shown a demo and then never released the shaders or in this case they’re Ray tracing of course Ray tracing is different to shaders but it’s pretty much the same thing as it enhances Minecraft’s Graphics it just does it with Hardware more and with the ray Tracing technology Maybe Minecraft are waiting for pocket edition devices faux owns tablets and all other devices to be able to use Ray tracing before they make an effort to make Ray tracing work for everybody maybe they’ll do a major update when more phones or when phones In general start to be able to get ray tracing or RTX supports and then they’ll release it for everything cool at once and make it a huge marketing thing for everybody to be able to use Ray tracing although we’re still gears away from a lot of phones being able to get ray Tracing especially with people keeping their phones for longer and longer as there’s no need to upgrade because generational gaps between mobile devices is getting smaller and smaller but this could be a possibility it’s definitely something that Minecraft are still thinking about and working on because they did have the preview but who knows When Ray tracing will be released if you want to hear my prediction about when RTX Ray chasing will be released to Minecraft Xbox series s and Xbox series X check out the video on screen I’ll see you over there right now Video Information

Learn the sad truth about ray tracing In Minecraft Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Raytracing manipulates and enhances Minecraft’s lighting engine and graphics in real time but requires a good enough GPU to do so, which the Xbox Series X & Series S has, but it’s still looking less and less likely ray tracing will release on Xbox Series Consoles despite there being an early demo before the xbox series X released, and a preview / beta for raytracing accidently being released.
If I refer to Xbox raytracing as Xbox RTX or Xbox RTX Raytracing, or you see others do so, please note the Xbox Series X / S will not have RTX as that’s just NVIDIA’s raytracing graphics card brand, the Xbox series consoles uses an AMD GPU, it may still get raytracing but won’t get RTX, however, a lot of community still refer to Minecraft ray tracing as Minecraft RTX because, that’s what it was advertised as and what a lot of the RTX packs and worlds are called as NVIDIA made raytracing for windows 10 and 11 Minecraft .
