Hey everyone wot here and welcome to outpath a incremental survival sandbox kind of fusion it’s one of the most unique takes I’ve seen on the genre yet I’ve seen a lot of incremental games go by at this point there’s a lot of them that are just kind of your standard Clicker game but there’s been a trend I’ve noticed recently I’m going to turn those sound effects down uh Trend I’ve seen recently for uh kind of takes on the incremental idle clicker genre and turning them into something really fresh and new uh let’s eat some food as my character is getting Hungry I have to figure out like a better food source at some point okay can I climb up here yeah did my Island get regenerated no it’s just a little bit more expansive that’s that’s where the desert Zone was I remember things it’s been a long week uh whenever I have like a vacation uh my brain comp compartmentalizes everything into the before times and then the after times oh that is a shiny resource cool ah I don’t think I had really process seeing those earlier maybe I just wasn’t paying attention in the demo or maybe any Number of other things could have happened hey no more infinite chicken cool also hello if you’re uh I guess watching this for the first time I have a previous video on the demo for this it was me setting up this initial Island more or less just running around hitting Stuff we’re about to hit the actual like new fun Parts I just need a considerable amount of wood I guess I don’t cuz I can trade wood specifically to get uh some more points that stuff in the top left that we can trade for uh more Islands though I think at this point we might actually be unlocking a new biome and so I’m just going to put that off for a hot second uh get a little bit more wood just because cuz I know I’m going to need more maybe just a bunch of other supplies we’ll go from there Let’s see but so I’m not going to be introducing as many unique Concepts just because I’ve played this uh a bunch and I have multiple prior videos let’s see what is this requires 10 Sparkfly yesh I have five of those so I don’t think I’m getting more okay so what can I do on this one how do I how do I leave maybe I have to do this first oh boy well I guess take your spark flies either either we can’t leave or well there might be some more things I can research maybe either I can’t leave or there’s some other unlock Requirement I don’t know about gu we’ll have to find out I might also want to just get some more of these suckers uh cuz it turns out they’re actually kind of good I know you can increase their range though and I think I’d prefer to maybe work on that okay can I actually Yes grab all of this stuff do we have oh right we don’t have to worry about inventory slots that was one of the things in the uh previous version of the game that you actually had like a limited amount of inventory space and you had to put things away and they’ve Just gotten rid of that and that feels so much Better all right do we actually have anything of Merit up here some copper some Stone some more Stone not really of huge Merit I could I could I just just don’t think it’s worth it to go up there most of the time okay can I interact with anything workbench Workbench research yes we do actually have some new things so let start researching that and we might as well accelerate accelerate the crafting a bunch uh so we can also get the skill enhancer that sounds really handy what else do we have cave cave entrance where rare minerals and ores appear more Frequently oh okay I was wondering I knew there had to be some means of progression here for myself I just didn’t know where it was going to be so we also got an advanced Workbench and how much wood do I have I guess I probably should have saved that for the crafting benches I mean we’ll get plenty more as I go along yeah I think I think I I actually did need did need that wood oh well let’s see it’s Q oh yeah Q Utilities or production so I need 20 wood for the advanced workbench and four bricks and then we can make the skill enhancer okay so I need 50 wood oo yeah I should have should have probably banked that wood oh well let’s just go back over here grab what we can Do we have our character sleep sure I’m going to have to shove food in my face for a while all right I think that’s good enough yeah do we just eat a bunch of cooked berries actually get my stamina up I really wish that would actually Stack but alas we are hard locked on wood still all right I guess first and for oh we got a bunch of things down here I think we kind of knew that though but I’m going to need a lot of bricks let’s do half let’s do half bricks just Because okay what else can I do do all of these require they kind of do yeah we have we have new things but we can’t get to them yet we might need the advanced workbench or some new tier or the cave hard to say but yeah for the most part okay I’ve Got 14 wood yeah we’re just going to need to get loads of it and then also bugs oh I’m a fool I could could have actually gotten the skill enhancer I was just like oh do we have any more wood that I can deal with the Other thing we might want to do is actually figure out if I can pick up my base and move it more centrally not to say that this area out here isn’t bad but it’s um a little remote let’s break the chicken I think there’s actually like a pet the chicken option which suddenly Makes me feel even worse uh okay skill enhancer how do we there we Go really is it is the grass in the way probably hopefully at some point I can actually make like there we go like a floating platform or something that doesn’t grow resources so reduces objects HP by 16% uh we already have handy fish spawn more often oh so all those skill books we Found we can upgrade them here creatures spawn faster move speed increased and and shiny loot resources will appear with eight times Loot and 20 times credit but that’s very expensive and then we’re just going to have to find the rest of the skill books do I want to grab Wallup sure oh boy that’s very expensive okay I guess let’s get access to the cave first and foremost most the advanced workbench could be interesting possibly good but I figure having access to just a whole another area to do things in probably makes the most amount of Sense let’s see I guess the other thing I should look into is can I make another mining Rod maybe now that I’ve cleared this out Machinery DeForest oh so we have a Slayer and we have a breaker okay if I put it in this corner it’ll hit everything almost everything it’ll hit It’ll hit enough and if we’re lucky it’ll hit like a little bit beyond and start hitting some stuff on this island too might as well get the wood as we go by yeah it looks like they have just enough range that if I put one like right here between these two Islands I need glass all right gu so let’s go work on that uh let’s see where’s my there’s my fish traps I should probably come through and just repeatedly check these whenever I get the chance oh that’s a shiny for Sure okay what else do we have I know there’s also like collectors that you can get which I’m probably going to want to get my hands on just so I don’t have to manually come grab these some grass think we’re good and yeah let’s let’s start working on glass When we get the H when we get the chance okay so we wanted to do right we want to go here we could accelerate the build oh but that’s okay what else can I do I could afford probably some upgrades but I’m not sure if I want to get them for a Moment okay why don’t we build base that’s a bed Magic Farm farming gather oh it’s That do I want the advanced workbench actually yeah okay so what can I make bow arrow camera at the moment not really overwhelmingly worth it bow and arrow could be interesting if we end up fighting like a lot more stuff and I’m curious about how necessary how necessary uh how much We’re going to have to worry about combat let finish that off we still need a bunch of spark flies I know they show up at night they don’t show up often but they might show up in caves I don’t know we’ll find Out okay let’s just Z over here you done yes glass uh it’s just max glass I’ll need more coal but eh okay the other one is utilities cave entrance it’s kind of big I’m actually going to put it over here reason being mostly just let’s See mostly just I don’t want to jam it over there we’re full up as it is and also um uh we’re kind of full up as it is and also the the beach area is not nearly as important as far as resource acquisition goes whereas if I keep putting it on These islands here even though it’s kind of a convenient base location since it’s next to that uh I’m just going to end up spending a bare bit of my time well I’m just going to have less wood and that’s annoying annoying still kind of early in the Morning so I might be kind of oscillating between ASMR bot and not but also like I feel like this is the kind of game that you go ASMR you know it’s just chill we’re just kind of here at some point I should probably take a look to see if I can do other Things with the chicken other than just kill him I’m not betting on it and I don’t know why okay anything else here I definitely want to go back and grab that glass there a mining rod on this like kind of dual island is going to be worth a lot why is Why is grass and sand why are those two the only two that are shiny I have to know okay how much glass do I have just enough for one mining rod and not more Right and I cannot Sprint I do seem to get a movement bonus when I go fast though is this oh earthworm I guess we need those okay Machinery Deforestation and that’ll just have to do hopefully it’ll hit Everything yes okay we’ll in fact hit the tree and mine it pretty quick cool so now I think that’s almost every Green Island handled by a mining Rod automation is it’s a lovely feeling not having to worry about these things black of spark flies and I do not see Any what’s going on up here though we’ve got a sparkly flower which is good maybe I’m not actually sure how many flowers I Need oh there’s a spark fly yeah I’m going to have to be line for them whenever I get the chance cuz I need so many of them got it I think they all they only show up at night they’re kind of hard to catch they’re not that hard to catch but Sometimes they fly out of my out of my reach there’s a sparkle oh it’s a sparkle oh it’s it’s my mining Rod that is sparkling I was like oh shiny I was wrong the one possibility is the spark flies could spawn underground we haven’t checked the cave Yet I guess it’s time for me to go down there enter cave huh can I expand it I wonder if each of these is its own is its own cave well we can get some Amber I haven’t seen that Before let’s see right and some of these are imaginary yeah it looks like the coal deposits are completely unaffected oh is it every time I get one of these wall deposits it expands or no why are the coal deposits down here not functional I mean it doesn’t matter that Much we need coal but we don’t need it that bad okay let’s just keep going for everything else that we can in Here I must be some kind of uh alt coal version or they’re just I don’t know okay is that just a bunch of flints not a clue it felt like it got bigger in there but it might just be me here let’s copy one of these and move it closer to our base I’ll put one like right here is it a different cave is it the same cave looks like it’s the same one I wonder what makes it bigger then well I’ll just leave this entrance here and it does look like the mining rods work while I’m gone so it might be One of those that we specifically go out over our way to have uh full coverage of mining rods down there so they can just clear everything for me seems like a wise choice maybe a little expensive but what else am I doing sitting around waiting for spark flies to show up Mainly oh my fishing traps are done too I should probably expand the number that I have uh even though I mean h no it is getting me earthworms and trash whatever trash is good for the this is almost oh this is almost this is absolutely one of those games Where it’s like oh yeah trash is actually pretty good okay so what do we want to do cuz we still can’t do anything with that can’t do anything with the research bench workbench I can make leather and thread if I want to I guess I’ll just start that Going and yeah we don’t have to any of those any of those H we need what three spark spark flies and then hopefully that’ll level this thing up yeah that’s that’s got to be the limits to progression I need to oh that’s why I can interact with cows you can get milk From them if you have the right thing Chicken oh I can I can Pat chickens for eggs that’s what you can do how’s on the other hand you slap to death I didn’t go I don’t have a bottle never going to have a bottle maybe I probably will actually grab bottles I kind of wish there was almost A um an option for don’t stab the chickens you know default pat pat Only just so I’m not always a monster okay is this just lots of copper deposits yeah okay well shall we can I actually build another one of these I Can let’s go back into the cave I wonder if the mining Rod will be able to mine these oh I can’t put a mining rod down here I’m on my Own I mean I guess it’s fair it maybe it would be something that would be kind of cool as like an unlock like the ability to transfer power resources to the underground like link them up a little bit more but then again whatever it’s a bonus resource Zone and I’m not sure how Much I actually Sparkfly I’m not sure how much I actually actually like truly need it and how much of it is just kind of me being lazy now the problem is I need to sleep but I need more spark flies I need two more and only two more More well I guess if I can’t put a mining rod down below I should probably go put one on that island cuz at least for a while we are going to be so hard locked on re resources uh hard locked on wood and some other things that it it seems like The smartest option is just automate every single one of these islands first and foremost n that’s not the sparkly I’m looking for it is a sparkly though so I’ll go for It yeah I’m looking I’m looking for those spark flies there are clearly not enough of them are you out oh yeah hopefully we get some kind of autocharge system for that later so I don’t have to go slap them every single time H now what now Where I mean mostly I’m just kind of on Loop just running circles until the Flies show off and I almost wonder if they’re actually they’re a once per nighttime spawn kind of deal they spawn every like at the beginning of every night nope I’ve just been proven quite conclusively wrong and that’s nice Actually got it we just need one more one more and I can leave this hell Dimension give me egg thank chicken why is it always sparkly grass well on the plus side I should probably have everything I needed in more uh do we want to just make Max Max glass Yeah what else can I make while we’re here copper ingots bricks yeah none of these are new for me we should probably cook the fish up at some Point okay no more spark flies and it’s starting to become Dawn what I’ll probably do is try and sleep until the next night cuz wait did I see one I did not I probably saw this this boyo just hanging let’s pick everything up then we’ll just go nap until it’s night time Again and we’ll see hopefully the final Sparkfly as soon well probably not as soon as we wake up I don’t think I don’t think we’re actually going to sleep through the entire day is this shiny I guess it’s just always shiny so fish spawn more often Craft Time reduction by 30% I mean sure let’s grab impatience oh creatures spawn faster I bet that actually includes the butterflies in retrospect okay and sleep nuts actually time passes pretty quick oh boy wake up come on give me a Sparkfly you know I’m good good for it you know I need It the only thing and yeah hopefully that 20% spawn rate well yeah I mean it’s probably only a true 20% I’m trying to think of there are some games where it’s like 20% it actually means like a plus 20% versus a 20% uh plus 20% versus a 20% increase how What is the wording and like how do you phrase this correctly uh they have a 5% crit chance and you get plus 25% or plus well yeah plus 25 crit chance uh or 25% crit chance that would put you at a 30 as opposed to like a 20% increase on top of It which would just be a um you know just one more a little bit more than one more 25% 20 I don’t know the problem is we have all of these like floaty moat things I keep seeing it I’m just like oh it’s a shiny same thing with the grass Well do I want to actually put a mining rod on this island I think I might cuz yeah it seem they definitely get more expensive but on the flip side they do also pay for themselves can I make another no I need Bricks now cuz yeah the one problem is a lot of These side islands are starting to become uh completely full of resources and so like the new more valuable ones won’t spawn because I haven’t cleared them out yet so that means I have to actually come here slap everything out and nothing necessarily directly you know wrong with having to Do that but like I said I kind of want to be lazy here Pat give egg look for butter dang once again I see one of those like floating moat things and I’m like oh it’s a Sparkfly and then it’s not and then I have that like moment of crushing Disappointment it’s a very small crush it’s more like a a light squeeze but still when you’re feing for a bug ah there’s also maybe too many cows on this island I’m actually quite curious if I don’t do anything about their population there’s probably an upper limit right Right that earthworm was going to go die not a single Sparkfly was seen that day that’s unfortunate for me I guess let’s go back to the mine like slap our fishing traps probably and of course none of these none of these would have a spark fly that’s Ridiculous let just get all the Amber and copper down here still don’t know what I’m using Amber for but as with all things better to have like a ton of it than none of it okay oh you know the downside though and I’m sure this is going to get Patched like before this game comes out is that uh whenever this spawns resources it doesn’t check how many of what kind of resource you have uh and so we’re just going to get more and more coal deposits until there’s nothing left in here it’s not That big of a deal cuz once again I probably don’t need it and it’s going get going to get fixed before I play this again uh but I could see that being a problem if I decided to record 10 hours of this today luckily this is just A single video and then I think I’m actually going to stream this game uh it is a little on the idle incremental side of things uh but it’s just active enough that I I think I could actually probably roll a stream because I do want to get back back to streaming just a Little especially for the games that I think are really cool and this is like a ly one of those okay we only need one well I can just over sleep correct I guess I’ll just wake up anyway what was that noise oh perly grass showed up why is it Always grass and never like a copper deposit I don’t know also new song new song’s pretty good too oh you know what I should do my rounds running running around charging the Rods but they don’t seem to lose charge at all Quickly there we go I almost eh no I definitely wish I definitely wish spark flies were a little more common especially while you need them as a resource the idea of being uh progress locked until a very rare spawn can show up is uh rough got it what now what That was that was my tower to Continue and I’ve completed it I see it kind of far away but I should be able to swim we doing on resources we’re probably fine Amber path I was assuming I’d be able to teleport between these two on the plus side they do seem to be kind of in the same region So I guess it’s not that bad all right so let’s take a look iron OTS well oh lost chest and barrels will start to spawn will contain 25% of five items in your inventory and raises crit Chance by 5% okay so iron ingot Scroll of bone Universal paint and honey and we have Beets and boy we are going to need some new tools ASAP because these have a lot of HP I think they all universally give way more stuff though like even the trees are giving me yeah seven wood uh wood at a Time fortunately I don’t think we’re going to find a whole lot of iron here we’re going to have to expand the island for that I think we I think we got a couple of whole Deposits at least these can be broken and don’t have that much HP I got drool from the Slime I feel weird about that let’s expand the biome 7,000 oh boy that’s expensive however it looks like expanding the biome actually uh put an island between us and our original base which is actually really nice all Right oh Logistics gen General okay so we might actually have more automation than I thought uh okay Production uh you know what I’ll put it Here let’s go make those bricks uh do we want to do anything Else I guess actually let’s just Auto until I have enough bricks there we Go I think that’ll do hopefully that’ll get us some things though these resources are more durable so so this might take a while oh upgrade another skill oh I’m out of points for that but I guess we do get a decent amount of points while we’re here okay stone stone stone Grass yeah so I’m I might have to probably just get a ton of mining rods to just manage all of this stuff uh but I think we’re going to have to keep progressing if I want to get access to uh oh no iron here’s some one one iron oh Boy okay we can get a little bit more yeah I think I’ll just have to eat like a bunch of berries just to get my food back up little on the expensive side but it’s fine oh there’s another book there though I’m probably going to have to upgrade another Skill creatures drop 50% more resources Okay let’s see I mostly need to keep an eye out for iron at both of these cuz that’s that’s going to be my my number one resource Limitation kind of weird that we don’t go under the water but I mean I suppose I understand it that’s a lot of work for something that doesn’t need to be done also I think the mining rods don’t operate off of my own damage statistics they might actually have their own Math uh so I don’t need to upgrade them as much nice well shall I go swimming back to the mainland upgrade that uh upgrade my skills so I can get another jump I suppose so and we should probably also put the furnace over there to good work or to Actual work question do the chickens over here give more egg no they don’t they are the same chickens no matter where you go I should also check if if I can click the beat rout cuz that’s probably going to be helpful in its own right yeah this is why I want that Double jump B I have a bee I don’t know what to do with said be how we doing on wood by the way pushing 300 that’s pretty good yeah I’m just going to try and collect bees seeing as uh Thing is we needed bugs previously to unlock the next biome uh I’m just going to assume that I’m going to have to keep doing Her here we go uh I’m probably I’m going to assume that I’m going to need bees as well there’s no resources over here I wonder if I was Auto collecting the resources from the mining rods or if I don’t know guess we’ll find out so What else can I make so we can make bottles now we can make paper branches black bones shell orb generates 40 credits every 5 Seconds we need 10 droll and three Honey okay I guess I’ll just do spawn uh fish spawn a little bit more often okay we also have the bow of gleam lum arrows iron crossbow and then there’s the ukulele every 60 seconds we’ll charge all nearby builds that’s kind of cool uh we can also make bread but we Need to actually get a Mill Iron Ingot I can make one well let’s see see the range of certain buildings four damage to trees shovel iron key total attack damage by 10% I’m going to need 10 oh boy let’s see pickup range also requires iron requires iron requires iron I guess Let’s make as much leather as we can seeing as I’m just going to need more uh do we make sushi I could guess I’m just going to make mashed oranges for now and mashed berries we might as well just burn through all of them oh boy okay all Right the mailbox I never did that in VI table craft magic weapons extracts water capsules from the sea cauldron unlock new decorations and parts of builds life to useless items and a mill turn some plants into ingredients I think I’m going to wait though nice as those would Be I think one of my big limitations is a lack of Iron and I should probably make the most of that uh or I should probably get as many as I possibly can first and foremost plus this way I can get over here and get that extra jump which is going to make swimming considerably faster oddly Enough there we go yeah that feels so much Better are any of you no you are flowers you are coal I guess I should pin all of my other food okay can I actually do that resources food fish beets but I’m pretty sure we can actually cook That we also have the demo C which is consumable is it I don’t think So okay ah and the dink noises are of course let’s see whenever I get a crit give me iron you are not iron you are a cow here we go unfortunately I’m going to need so much And I think my best my best bet here is mostly just to rely on um expanding this we’ve we need what just a little over 6,000 6,600 it’s a little bit more not too much yeah i’ probably like to make some more mining rods but I think I might Want to wait until we get the actual stone Islands there we go I’m so glad the cow doesn’t make any any more noise other than slaps and then a kind of awkward moo it would feel worse if it made other noises okay so what do we want to do Bricks we have no sand we can get more copper ingots do we even need you know I’m almost I’m just going to preemptively start making a ton of coal I know we’re going to need more uh okay fine let’s go make a mining Rod specifically for sand maybe otherwise I’m just going to Run out and it doesn’t seem like this has spawned any iron for us to gather is there anything else no other than other than just getting more iron whenever I can which is still such a huge limitation for just a moment oh I am absolutely starving it would help if I ate and Remember to do do so Often the problem is gathering a lot of these resources Tak some time and effort yeah it feels like the mining rods don’t have as many resources to mine maybe they’re just consolidating doesn’t look like it okay why don’t we make one mining Rod out here copper ingots oh I guess I do need Those oh you know the I know I know where I need to go kind Of I need to make one of these but for the other Region cuz I bet there’s a different mine over Here okay let’s let’s just build it right here utilities cave entrance I need more wood it’s okay there now we have plenty think you can kind of almost ramp off things yes let’s just have it hanging off the world it’s the same place and Al last for me there’s no iron in Here wonder I wonder if it would have been different if I had put it down on the other Island first dang I was really hoping that would be a easy source of iron for me but alas out of luck okay well I guess we’re just going to Sparkfly there we go I guess we’re just going to have to make do and it’ll show up we’ll have we’ll have plenty of iron eventually in the meantime though oh boy this a bit of a grind I I guess once we have all of the uh oh gosh that’s a uh tanky grass I I mean it’s worth a bunch I guess number one thing I should do is probably just get um more mining rods and just put them all over the place just to ensure maximum coverage we do even have a higher tier berry bush I don’t think it’s that much of a higher Tier 20 iron ingots and a bunch of Honey yeses oh did this did this finish no it is not it is just going to be pumping out coal for a very long time I might as well work to restock on wood at the moment I think I’ll put my Min mining rods over Here even then I don’t know I’m going to need more co uh more copper though it’s like the resources around the mining rods don’t show up as much maybe I just haven’t given enough time okay so how many how many mining Rod or how much copper do I need for all These mining rods seven a pop I’m trying to think I know there’s also like Auto collectors that we can get which might not be a bad idea and I don’t think I can I don’t think I can tear up the mining rods either and bring them over not that that’s like a huge Priority okay let’s just get more iron I mean it’s more iron and mostly just more exp points uh cuz if we can get a lot of those we can specifically get uh uh if we can specifically get just that that 6,000 uh point point or So we can at least expand the biome and hopefully get access to uh an area that spawns iron on the regular as opposed to The Irregular but until we do that boy we are going to be limited I guess the thing that would help well I don’t know we should probably go back and take a look at the uh the things that give me money per second cuz I still need that Aqua Butterfly and I don’t know how to get those up here n it’s just coal Coal’s nice we need it for a lot of things but compared to the Bounty of upgrades that iron is associated with I in Coal I just have to burn some more trees Is having toast behind me and I can smell it I want it okay Well you know all things considered I’m never going to put a mining Rod up here why don’t we um just Jam a bunch of furnaces is up Top there okay so we want to make we do want to cook a bunch of fish Oh okay what about glass uh I guess I’m going to need even more Coal okay so that actually that does help take a look are you’re still making a bunch of leather I guess let’s fix that the quiver chance for weapons or tools to not consume ammo eh yeah Yeah we haven’t found any treasure chest or barrels Yet I supposedly they’ll start spawning okay which one gives me the extra jump we just drop 100% more resources I mean that’d be good swiftness shiny lost and an additional jump 120,000 though that’s um it’s a little bit outside of my my perview yeah more paper more a lot of things h Oh hey we have enough uh we have enough points that we can actually build another Island I guess I think that’s exactly what we’re going to do I’m hoping to find another one of those Aqua butterflies o speaking of ah it’s not coal and also when the Uh when the coal gets a uh or sorry when we actually get the ability to mine or mine coal uh well yeah mine coal in the underground that’s going to solve a lot of my resource Issues cuz there does seem to be a fair bit of it down there I just can’t get to it okay thinking we’re good yeah let just come by to pick pick stuff up from it every once in a While Okay PL oranges I’ll definitely want those Fish probably put a mining Rod guess it doesn’t really matter where it is yeah I’ll put it right there that should give it a decent amount of coverage especially fever Sparkfly got it actually huge how much for the next one 30,000 hly okay what is this 20% chance caught things in the sea yeah I mean these are Okay I guess I guess actually they are pretty okay eat the berries eat the oranges cuz yeah we have a couple of cool things up High or mining spots up high just not the uh convenient like super first stone Island I was hoping for but it did just increase the amount of iron that we potentially have to gather by a fair bit another Sparkfly there we go okay do we want to get another let’s get another machinery machine Machinery I need 17 glass now oh boy okay I suppose never mind another Sparkfly oh and all I need is an aqua butterfly and then we can get that as well look the game heard me winging and Said okay fine here’s here’s the thing stop whining at me then I have too much uh oh there’s more iron and I should probably also have my character go to sleep soon because his food bar is got is getting real small no no no no go back up there there we Go I don’t see any more iron over there it doesn’t really matter that much it’s not perfect this was definitely going to take a long time before I can truly get anywhere on this uh I appreciate the slowness of it but I do hope it speeds up a little Bit I mean it probably will as we get more things I think usually how incremental games work we have no sand okay so you know I said like beaches aren’t that important to uh it turns out now beaches are turbo important and I’m paying the price of ignoring Them and it is a steep price indeed yeah so I’ll have to I have to come back and put put some mining rods just kind of around in this area as soon as I can afford them the problem is they get more expensive as we go and that means Uh that for every bit of coverage I get for more mining rods I’m going to have to have more coverage to get more mining rods otherwise you could just leave the game running for a while uh I guess the uh the mining rods need to be charged Periodically so it’s not quite like I can just go full idle with this game okay yeah let’s just grab a couple couple more bits don’t have too much let’s see that’s going can’t do anything more with it I guess I’ll eat the mashed oranges and then I guess Let’s just sleep I have to figure out where to get those Aqua butterflies I thought they just showed up during the day but maybe I’m wrong about that maybe I have to go fishing for it oo big coal deposit though oh oh do the mashed oranges have A duration longer than a minute oh they probably do let’s see creatures drop 100% more resources I’m actually going to grab that cuz that might mean we can hit a butterfly and get two of them now I guess there’s also Precision uh jeez what else do we do I need the Paper do we just hit this I I want that I want that singular Aqua butterfly so I can get credits when I’m offline up to a maximum of eight hours like it’s honestly not that good anymore at least we can get the toome well maybe maybe instead of Looking into new islands we could look into yeah potions the water pump what about the viewing table Yeah I need 2,500 for that though so that’s a little pricey yeah let’s just go buy and also charge everything whenever whenever we get the chance and then hit sand because I Apparently need stupid amounts of glass it’s like that iron problem ah how would I describe it If You Give a Mouse a Cookie but in video game for format well to get more iron I’m going to need more Islands but to get more Islands I’m going to need more points to get more Points I’m either going to need to upgrade my tool which requires more iron surprise surprise or I’m going to need to um uh get more mining rods which oh that requires more more sand which also requires more mining rods or land it’s cyclical I’m just going to be running Circles around myself for a while I think eventually the game’s got to kind of give in some interesting ways and then it’s going to be very easy to get what I want maybe or it’s always going to be just kind of slow we’ll see I mean making and balancing a incremental game Is not easy okay oh we’ve already made all the iron ore we possibly can H cook meat cook meat I’ll rip coal more coal there we go oh glass that’s what I need oh there’s no iron up there oh what is this book oh structure cost by 10% Yeah and then the sea traps chances go up or not chances but output has a chance of being three times what what it is I mean those are good chicken’s on death’s door it’s fine I will release you and this is still actually just making coal for us which We do need the main question is is I saw that cloud up there and I was like there’s dragons in this game I may or may not have played too much tears of Kingdom this this year and then I just kind of went cold turkey it’s very Strange like I got the master sword back and said all right that’s that’s it I’m done I’ve experienced all this game has to offer and I could go fight the last boss at any time but I’m just not going to and I don’t know F Why like this is a thing I have with like so many games I get right before the ending and I’m just kind of like I have petered out on this it doesn’t help that many games are just so freaking long that you have no choice but to uh So like oh it’s another example I was playing through like Final Fantasy X uh and I’m in the I’m like 75% of the way done with the game and just got like a big reveal but it was just this kind of like big reveal given almost Cas casually during Conversation I was just kind of like oh okay and then I just lost all steam at that moment and have not come back also just find that game kind of dated in a way that surprised me cuz I thought as a kid I thought it was like the most Inventive game ever but it almost kind of uh kind of like realism in video games after a certain point it almost starts wrapping around to be uh not so good right let’s go get the uh let’s go get the lot of things first and foremost I need more glass I should Have a decent amount of coal now not like a ton but enough okay so we want we want the IMB table cuz I want to see what kind of magic weapons we can make we have the island core oh when active the current Island will not deactivate it deactivate when you Leave it you can only have one passive Island oh that explains some things uh you know what let’s get the mill as well just in case that gets me something else that’s cool uh jeez right I guess let’s just uh production magic magic so I need magic branches and black bone oh Sparkfly Oh and they should give me enough coal that I can get another one maybe yes okay magic Branch oh we can actually make a lot we still need more Wood and so they fully just shut off when I’m gone which is rough I actually hope that’s um that’s done away with maybe it was done for memory issues I’m not sure but I need so many resources especially for things like sand and not being able to get more Islands than just one and maybe we can get we can actually get more Island cores that I think think I’m going to be able to you know it only works for right now but it’ll work better later okay so let’s craft two more okay got it magic inscription Table what can I make bone staff projectile spawns a creature but any more Aqua butterflies three projectiles with a Bas damage each charges nearby builds upon use shoots a projectile spawns a coal deposit spawns wheat once projectile hits a wall you’ll be moved to that destination oh actually those are really Cool they’re not like strictly what I need at the moment but they are actually really cool and I think what I will probably do is make this place Auto even if uh the resource gain isn’t quite as good this is where all my mining rods Are and what we might want to do is actually fully automate this entire Island Aqua butterflies are like one of those weird things that actually shows up entirely while fishing cuz I certainly haven’t seen any and we’ve been here for a while of food creatures use the fishing rod oh chancef for treasure oh the hammer the hammer lets me dismantle Things yeah I don’t see any butterflies all right whatever we’ll come back to this later and hopefully uh well I don’t know cuz it’s not that too much is going to change the underground is going to change a little bit which will be nice wonder if resources respawn while you’re gone from An island at least I bet that actually is the case yeah I think we’ll need that Island core but for here yeah so I I think we’ll come back in a couple of days with a stream or maybe even tomorrow we will see uh cuz I’m recording this on the Saturday before the game launches um and if I’m lucky I should be able to get or if I’m lucky the game will get a couple of patches fix the underground coal I don’t think the island is turning off at a distance I don’t think that’s going to get batched out that’s probably Going to be something that like gets changed later on or it’s a feature you know kind of like the auto clicking and yes resources do spawn when you’re away from an island the mining rods just aren’t doing anything but yeah I think for the most part well okay the iron maybe doesn’t Seem to spawn in for whatever reason reason yeah yeah it’s going to take a while all right anyway so outpath is available as of today I don’t actually know the price tag for it but it is still one of the more interesting incremental games I’ve ever played it is An active incremental kind of in the same vein as like Planet crafter but also completely different uh and very much hits the exact same Vibes that forager did uh with a lot of obviously a lot of like unique spins that make it very worth playing and probably more Interesting especially if it gets more updates you know adds more stuff and uh content and whatnot though who knows I I literally have no idea what the end of progression is even going to look like in this game I’ve never made it there uh so we will
