Hey folks i hope you’re all well and staying safe minecraft one of the biggest games in our generation with over 200 million copies sold which has made around half a billion dollars even gave us one of the biggest youtube stars now with such a massive game you Would think it would be natively in vr so you bought the quest too thinking you could play minecraft in vr however then you realized that you needed a gaming pc as well but you don’t have one so much so for the quest 2 being a standalone device Well have no fear whackman is here i’m going to tell you a super easy way of installing minecraft vr to your quest 2 and you won’t need anything but your quest 2 to play it wirelessly this should also work with the original quest so don’t worry if you have that Not only that if you don’t have a quest 2 or maybe want another one then remember my quest 2 giveaway is still on for one of my subscribers if we reach our goal by christmas plus we also have a giveaway for arizona sunshine and richie’s plank experience full details are in the description Below well let’s get straight into the video okay so here are the things that you will need to be able to do this number one obviously a quest or a question number two a pc or a laptop it doesn’t need to be a gaming one any reasonable computer will do number three A usbc cable to connect your quest to to your computer number four side quests installed on your computer if you don’t know how to install sidequest then click the link above or in the description below i have a full tutorial on how to install it and finally number five An apk of minecraft gear vr edition now there are a couple ways of getting this apk if you have a gear vr then you can simply go to the oculus store and buy it from there and then transfer the apk however a lot of you watching won’t have That so another method you can do is install a gear vr emulator on your computer purchase the game and then transfer over the apk i’ll leave a link to the video on how to do that in the description below the final way is to google it and then It’s up to you what you do all right so you’ve got all of these things now now it’s very simple first thing connect your headset to your pc and launch sidequest will see the green connected sign once it’s connected you may need to go into your headset to allow it to connect So once it’s green you simply have to click the button on the top right that says install apk file from folder on computer then find where you saved your apk file and double click it once you’ve done that the apk will install on your quest too once it has completed the installation You can now disconnect the headset from the computer go into your quest tube go into application then click the drop down and select unknown sources and click on your minecraft via application and that will launch it now one thing to note is unfortunately you won’t have motion controls in the game You will need to play as you were with a controller however you don’t actually need to go get another controller you can use your touch controllers but if you have a spare bluetooth controller such as a ps4 controller you can connect that to your quest to and use that But i just use equestria controllers now when you start minecraft it will say login to xbox live just press the b button and will take you to the start menu then just press star and select whatever mode you want to play on that’s it now you’ll be able to play Minecraft in vr using nothing but your quest too well i just wanted to make a quick video to show you how to do this i know there are a lot of fans of minecraft out there and if you found the video helpful then please give it a Thumbs up and subscribe to the channel as it lets me know how to make more of this type of content also don’t forget to enter the quest 2 giveaway well thanks for watching have a great day stay safe and see you next Time Video Information
