Elites welcome back it’s me wattles minecraft guide 59 here something crazy happened in between episodes it’s it always happens off camera it’s strange i i’m actually like literally shaking right now like look at this you can actually probably see it on camera it’s like crazy so i walked over to the gunpowder farm

And opened the chest and and gunpowder yeah to be expected the string yup that’s nice this is an expensive string farm remember yeah uh-huh uh take a seat because your minecraft grass block minecraft dirt block this farm is apparently a grass block farm and a dirt

Farm as well i did not know that that’s crazy i’m gonna have to actually probably go back and delete the last video i didn’t even say that in the episode wow that’s crazy it makes grass and dirt too out of thin hair i mean it’s either that or the grass

Is from when i was digging up the ground over here because there was grass on the ground before i when i was digging it up and switching with cobblestone i’m i’m not too sure my mind is literally still blown that we actually were able to build this entire thing out of iron though

That’s absolutely absurd it was a lot of iron so gunpowder we have gunpowder from the creeper farm it works and to make things kind of even more funny as soon as i ended the episode it happened i walked over to the farm saw this right here

Yep two creepers and yep it does run which is cool but it runs bad definitely a problem we need better rates on this bar so today’s episode the goal is simple improve the rates of the creeper farm make it better get it good this shark right here this chart is

Basically king for today’s episode if you have built a hostile mob farm in your world and it’s not running very well well have you lit up the caves because the caves they need to be bright somewhere in here there’s a hole in the ground i know it i’ve seen it before

Where’s the hole in the ground i’ve actually fallen into it before it’s right there right there i told you so check this out this cave system right here right on the surface is dark and and this cave system it’s probably small but there’s a lot of cave systems just like

This today we need to make them all nice and bright so the creeper farm actually runs good for today’s video we’re actually going to do a little bit of a life hack to show subtitles on all right so now look at the bottom corner the the subtitles will will show up and most

Importantly we’re looking for things like zombie groans and then now they’re hostile mob noises we need to eliminate all of the spawns to get the rates much better and it seems that we have a zombie right over here already so the cave system i think this just that just goes back up to

Where i farm the trees right i’m pretty sure it does which means this is probably the end of it um tree farm yeah yeah yeah tree farm right here okay so if we can rule that out which i’m pretty sure we can we need to check everywhere else

Everywhere it needs to be lit up it needs to be bright and it sounds like the mob noises are getting louder so let’s go ahead and just mine down here maybe maybe oh wait hold on a second no no no no no no no no no hold on this

Built a string farm last episode we we really this is i mean it’s i mean i don’t want to lose it i don’t i don’t want to lose that i don’t want to bring a creeper in there really a spider spawner and thanks leave me alone leave me alone skeleton

Spider-spotter gamers this is cool it could be better but it is pretty cool it’s right by our base so actually we could make an even better string farm out of this thing what do we have a music disc cool i should collect those oh diamond horse armor wow not to brag but

We’re doing well i’m actually i’m actually gonna just leave this stuff here wow though that’s not bad that’s not bad at all that’s a pretty solid start that’s amazing but check out this cave system this is probably even more important this is exactly what i’m talking about today

We need to go through everything everything in here and put so many torches down so many torches that’ll probably end up getting like a bunch of comments about it but it doesn’t matter because also the mob farm will run really really well let’s clean up this hot bar though maybe

Walter should come out onto the hot bar and definitely probably should make some more torches that would be a really good idea also i needed to worry about oars today not really iron but like coal because i have the fortune 3 pickaxe so i could turn like that little bit of coal

Into so many bits of coal so that was a pretty cool fine let’s talk about this chart this sharp right here is basically the bust today this chart shows how mob spawning works in minecraft i’ve actually shown it earlier on in the series basically mobs are going to spawn

Anywhere within 128 blocks in every single direction of us which is it’s actually kind of absurd so that means it’s basically most important that we get all of the cave systems lit up that are within 128 blocks yes that’s crazy but within 128 blocks of the creeper farm

So really basically just every single cave i need to exist like like like ever we need to light everything up i should have let that skeleton take out the creeper okay that’s my bad maybe maybe we’ll make that a goal we’ll try and get another music disc today

Like like a second one that would be amazing wait zombies zombies i hear more come out come out wherever you are i can hear you you seem to be getting even closer you must oh there you are there you are there you are all right so another cave let’s see

Poppies that’s nice i have so many of them and then it winds around okay this is gonna be a little tricky today because i need to like not lose my way i need to remember to go back and like light everything up so maybe what i do is actually backtrack and

And maybe try and finish off that first cave system first then we’ll refine our way over to this place right here and continue over here i’m pretty sure endermen have been like living in this cave like look at this the gravel block sitting right there like in the middle of nowhere okay cool

Then we have like random dirt blocks sitting around it’s like a mess in here yeah i’m pretty sure it’s gotta be enderman right like walking around and setting blocks down has to be i would think oh here it is here it is here it is shot number two shot number two

Okay okay back up creeper back up creeper come on skeleton come on come on come on it’s your move boy boy boy no no no no no no okay okay okay stay calm stay calm we can still pull this off okay okay yes yes one more shot skeleton come

On boy save me save me boy really really really really really really really okay i see how it is we were so close this cave system is actually genuinely huge like i have no clue how i’m gonna actually find that other one because like i kept going

And going and going and now look at i’m like all the way down here with like red zone and there’s like lapis and gold over here pretty crazy this is like a gigantic cave system oh also right now i i think i’ve reached my true form i’m

I’m essentially cold right now like look at this inventory this is like i would say it’s pretty i would say it’s pretty cold but but i i wouldn’t say that i brought a shelter box today by the way to put all of our good loot in so like

Things like coal or maybe even watch this step it up a little bit blocks of coal things like blocks of coal that can go in there iron ore two that stuff that can go in there and then i’m going to be like highly selective here i’m gonna combine these leather boots

And then because they’re leather boots well you know what we’re just going to put them in here because they don’t want a zombie picking them up and then idling around in the cave but yeah basically i brought the shelter box for extra storage today

There was one creeper and then all of a sudden there was a second creeper and then it was bad and you know why did i bring my elytra into the cave system like why why why did i not like okay well at some point we need to go back up

To the surface and probably get get another ride then another right oh oh it should probably come out okay buddy you can go away and you know what i i probably should have should have had the skeleton take you out that’s that’s my bad okay but i think we may have actually

Circled back around you know we might be like back up high to that original cave that i thought i didn’t know how i was gonna find so maybe uh maybe what we could do is actually swing back up and swap the electro for the chest plate is this that cave

It is it is it is that cave okay perfect by the way i always get questions about how i find my way out of cave systems like how do i not lose my way uh trick question i i don’t not lose my way i lose my way

All the time every time i’m done with the cave system i literally just make a staircase i almost never find my way back out just just because i don’t like use any tactics like placing the torches on the wall or anything true gamers just dig up okay

That could be any more perfect cool thanks and back into the cave system for me this never happened the staircase is not right there so my general thought process when lighting these caves up is start high then go low so like if i have a branch over here that’s like

High up or i have a way down i i usually try and go the high up way first because i find that usually those ways they’re like dead ends like that one right there it went nowhere and it was really really easy to light up so it’s like

You know kind of covering ground quickly getting everything done and also i have to say i love the haze beacon that reaches down here that’s really good but it’s probably like almost time that we get like another beacon and extend the range of them because our builds are like getting farther and

Farther out so maybe we should like take on a wither soon i think i have enough wither skulls okay so i think i missed something down here yeah this area right here i never finished checking this out this one we’ll go this way first but what i’m gonna do is leave this cobblestone

Pillar like right here and and that means i have to go back that way later on and finish lighting up that part of the cave i i don’t know if this is really going to go anywhere yeah it’s like a dead end are we at diamond level oh we’re at

Diamond level oh yes diamonds diamonds where are you come out come out wherever you are i know you’re here i know you’re here somewhere look at this we can just haste mine through all of this yeah that’s what i need to be doing that’s what i need i need to be ace

Mining down here am i looking for diamonds duh duh obviously wait hold on how fast can we mine this with haste oh wow that’s crazy that’s crazy honestly i don’t know if i’ve ever done this before but look at this wow that’s crazy that’s cool oh boy guess what spicy things have found

Look at it look at them right there diamonds how many diamonds do i get for this ho ho i better get like honestly maybe i i think it would be really cool if i got maybe like 43 diamonds maybe 43 all right five but we will set it for

A dead end okay that works too it’s fine it happens you know i should probably also take like a lot of this gravel because i think i’m starting to run low on gravel i can’t really exactly remember definitely should have checked but gravel it’s always good we’ll take it

Honestly guys like seriously i don’t know what it is but i’ve missed caving so much i didn’t think i would say this but yeah it’s seriously been so long and i miss it it’s so simple and it’s gonna be changed forever so i should really like embrace this while i can

While the caves are so simple and predictable because they’re gonna get like really really crazy soon with the cave update this could be completely different i mean i’m sure it’ll probably honestly be a little bit more fun but for this vibe this simple vibe the nostalgic vibe that has been like

The same so it’s like i don’t know like 2009 maybe not that long but but the vibes seriously oh they’re the best you know i want to call it right here and just say like knock on wood hopefully this doesn’t happen but i’m so happy that i haven’t found a

Ravine yet i hate hate hate ravines ravine tonight our friendship has never even existed it’s just not good ravines are annoying they’re so annoying to block off the spawns like you have to climb them and then i left the scaffolding back at home i was gonna bring it

And and then i forgot and i put it away it ravines remains no you should just no please please no ruins this is like the weirdest cave system ever though look at this this is like a tiny little section over here and and there’s literally nothing and then i mine down and

Yeah it continues it’s just so weird i i feel like i’ve never actually seen something like that before love a lot but please lead me to diamonds we’re on the quest for 43 diamonds come on please so get this i come down here to like light up

The caves and you know get rid of spawns and then uh well once i get down here i find essentially zero mobs like like right there like there there were a couple mobs right there and i mean i guess i hear like a few now like there’s a skeleton

Is this a ravine it better not be a ravine go away skeleton this is this isn’t a ravine right no no okay it’s just a big cavern but i come down to the cave system you know to light it up get rid of the mobs because the creeper farm doesn’t really run and

Then there are no mobs um this is weird this is really weird but it’s also like highly concerning that could mean that there’s like another giant cave somewhere that’s dark and all the mobs are in that cave instead of this one okay great great great great look it happened again

I i think at least no okay maybe there’s going somewhere this cave is so weird like what is even wrong with this game no no look it literally goes nowhere just some iron thanks okay now this cave system it’s not even it’s not even like real oh how beautiful dandelion

Chilling about the lava on the way down at um you know y11 of course okay okay buddy hold up hold up why are there so many zombies like what’s going on here do we have a zombie spawner maybe could we find like two spawners today that would be crazy look another one

And there’s another one back there oh no no no no please please let me find one that would just be sweet i mean i don’t need it for any what is this what’s going on here what’s got another one oh i’m on jeff too no way okay so we found a mineshaft

That’s sweet and like a bunch of zombies where are they coming a creeper okay okay no no no no you stay there there are so many zombies in here i don’t even know what’s going on like like what is even happening there’s just so many

I think i found the cave system with all of the mobs like seriously i went the other way first we’ll go to my chapter in a second but like this way it’s really dark and the sounds are like crazy those like zombies everywhere yep this is where they’ve all been this this

Is great this is really good we’re making good progress it’s gonna happen it’s gonna happen this is gonna be a good moment check this out watch this look look i’m mining nicole yep getting so much experience so much coal and even maybe more importantly so much experience

Literally gigantic it just keeps winding and winding and winding and then when i think i found the end of oh no a ravine ah okay well okay it was going to happen eventually gamers we live above a gigantic cave system that’s what i’m trying to say it’s seriously like massive and then

Every time i think it ends there’s one of those weird like fake ending points that i was showing you earlier and then it continues which is amazing oh you see what i see oh yeah yep there’s more there’s more diamonds which is amazing but a small problem little update

I’ve been caving and mining so much that my shulker box is seriously like almost full actually which is like crazy i i can’t believe it how many diamonds are 12. oh that’s amazing that’s amazing if we actually end the episode with 43 diamonds i’m just going to say called it that’s

Going to be it but yeah anyways haven’t even mentored the mine shaft yet and my shocker box is full so i might have to go back up to the surface at some point and drop things off okay good news ravine’s lit up and guess what it basically wraps back around to the

Mine shaft actually i think i think we can see it from uh right there you see that it wraps all around hold on hold on hold on i think i’ve hit the surface check that out oh yep we’re at the service okay that’s sweet that’s sweet let’s go ahead and go up

Here really quick that’s like perfect actually where am i oh okay perfect this is this is exactly where we need to be caving too sweet uh how did you get there i’ve never seen you before so we’re back in the mines but this time we’re actually in the mine shaft here

I i followed the cave and then it led to the mine shaft i wasn’t going to go in the mine shaft until after i finished all of the caves but honestly the the branch that i went down went really far and maybe i’m not sure about this but maybe this

Might just be like two gigantic mine shafts like merged into one that might explain some of the weirdness with the cave system after all i’m not too sure um but maybe i i guess we’ll find out if we find two dirt rooms then we have two mine shafts

I’m also gonna try and take like basically everything including the rails because i’ve been using like a lot of rails and i’m probably going to end up using even more rails for for other builds so all of the rails they’re coming with me some of the owers

Are coming with me i’m still taking like a lot of the stuff here trying to get as high as possible in terms of the levels but ah at the same time i i am starting to skip things finding more mobs though which is probably a good sign i think that means

We’re finding more caves but can we pull this off creeper one of you or skeleton one of you one of you one of you hello boys hey hey boys hey hey hey hey no no no no no we’re gonna we’re gonna play it like this okay we’re

Oh my gosh look at this cave it’s so cool this is so cool it’s so big and open and then the lava the water over there and then it’s vegan open there too yeah this is so cool this is like just past where the mine shaft was by the way

Remember how i thought there was maybe a zombie spotter well i haven’t found one i think it was just like a freak amount of zombies they i don’t think there’s like any smaller okay hold up hold up hold up i hear a skeleton so let’s see if we can do this

I think there’s another creeper yeah yeah there’s another one right there okay so where’s the skeleton at oh you’re right there you’re right there okay cool cool how many creepers can you take out for me can you take out like a couple creepers skeleton come on come

Reference the oak logs check it out i only have 22 left i’ve been using them all on torches so yeah it’s been a long time and check this out even more diamonds uh the diamond count it’s like i can’t do it is doing really good today so

Check that out eight more diamonds right there wait only 16 wow wow fortune how could you but hey it’s no big deal because 53 diamonds right there and then there’s more diamonds back in the storage building yeah i am getting so so much uh loot today it’s crazy it’s amazing so

Much that i’ve actually i i’ve actually just been passing up on a bunch of the coal and actually not only coal iron two i’ve been passing up on both of those things it’s kind of bad but i mean i’m trying to get this stuff done and i still haven’t even checked out the

Mine shaft yet i haven’t gotten to it and honestly i don’t know if i’m gonna get to it today i feel like i feel like we made like a lot of progress on the creeper farm should definitely run better now we should at least produce gunpowder which is a start

We’ll definitely have to come back down under the ground and continue caving down here though because the cave systems are actually massive but as soon as i finish up this branch of the cave system that i’m in right now i think i’m gonna make my way back up to the surface

In terms of what i’ve finished i i think i i mean i really have no way of knowing this easily but i think i’ve pretty much finished all of the cave system that is around the mine shaft but not the mine shaft itself i only went into that like a tiny

Bit i actually ended up finding another ravine lift that whole thing up so that’s good uh and then yeah the ravine led to this cave system so now i’m gonna finish this up which should actually be just about done then i’m gonna make my way

Back up to the surface where even am i i don’t even know where i am i think i’m on like the other side of the giant hill i feel like i’m like pretty far from the base actually which is good i mean it’s cool but it’s also kind of a problem because

We really want to focus on the caves near the base and yeah look at how far away i am wow ah-ha home sweet home so i don’t expect much we weren’t really by the farm but what do we have now 47 okay that’s better than six okay

I like it that’s good we’ve made progress but gamers gamers the loot the important part what do we have so we have all of this two music discs which is really really sweet that one’s cool we’ll put that in an item frame and then uh even more importantly more loot over here

64 and six more diamonds 70 diamonds today that’s amazing and we even got a pair of leather boots that’s sweet look at that the loot wow so much loot and actually i’ve been waiting to do this on camera because i figured why not the diamond chest and the storage room we’re gonna

Go ahead and put the diamond chest right there that’s where the diamonds go in this orange room i have to get the other diamonds from the the starter house and then i still have to to make a chest for another right too episode 59 how to become waddles build arches divorce

Hate parrots so yes but actually no i love all parrots trust me every single parrot except one parody and that that’s because of burb right here burb if you’re new here you don’t know but but burb has committed some atrocious things like just terrible what specifically has verve done well
