Yeah you heard me right fish is the nastiest food in the world not a question about it today we’re going to take on an ocean monument or – I’m thinking you will actually end up doing – that means first we need to talk about gear and supplies and then second we

Need to go do but also first first before all of that my cats keep asking about something I think this cat right here is asking me about that brand new merch that I released hi so recently I released a new shirt it’s meant to be like a stripped-down version that’s

Away soon so just so you know but yeah that’s what the cats wanted me to talk about so now we need to talk about the ocean monument but it’s gonna be nighttime so I should probably sleep but I have first being all over the place of

Course we need a new shocker box and it needs to be blue for all of our ocean events today we’ll put our supplies and things and that because it’s pretty cool at the end of the last episode I said I would get impaling on our tried in an

Old boy I did just that or Trident now has impaling I also decided to get respiration 3 on our helmet today for our water adventures now let’s talk supplies what should you take with you to an ocean monument so first and foremost you need good water armor to me

Good water armor means a helmet with respiration 3 an aqua affinity and then some boots with depth Strider 3 of them alternatively you could be taking a turtle helmet and I really wanted a turtle helmet but my turtle boys are not hatching I know the hatch at night but yeah so

Turtle helmet bad Hey that’s turtle hump it’s actually good I’m I just can’t have it so it’s bad so good armor you definitely want to take some food you definitely want to take extra blocks in case you get in a bad situation you can like build yourself into a corner you

Definitely want some good weapons so maybe a strong sword maybe a trident and possibly even a decent bow you can actually use bows it’s a little tricky but you can I definitely bring a pickaxe and then actually there’s two other things they’re kind of optional but I definitely recommend them the first

Thing is actually doors so ocean monuments are submerged they’re fully underwater that means there’s no oxygen areas in there as of the 1.14 update things like signs don’t work for creating water pockets but doors do so doors are a definite want for this adventure now we could also bring

Something that goes by the name of a conduit and this is definitely way way optional because it’s going to make things super easy I think on our first monument run we will use zero conduits and on the second one will actually place the conduit in the entrance which

Means we’ll want some some kelp as well I’ll show you a little trick with that later on in the video so conduit check kelp extra their doors and tools of food I think I have really everything so now we’re gonna go ahead and bring the Shocker box and an ender chest we will

Be storing oh you know what I should get a bed just in case – all right so let’s go ahead and grab our stuff and then take off – the first of hopefully maybe two three ocean monuments today I I uh nostalgia monument we’ll go over basic

Tactics and techniques and then in the second and third ones we’ll do like the elite gamer the elite tier one that I’m talking about if I show it off today is basically undefeatable if you die on it well that’d mean it’s okay but if you

Die on it it’s kind of sad but it’s seriously it’s okay it’s not that deep if you if you end up dying but monument number one is right in here so what we should do is kind of an outside camp area with I mean literally just the shocker box in the

Chest that we need to get our inventory sorted so goodbye Elektra I don’t like you I take it back I set it out of excitement we need to try it it down here we need none of that we need the doors we need the blocks and

Oh boy a ghost okay so let’s just go for it so and this is an ocean monument big and blue lots of mean orange and blue greenish fish things those are known as guardians guardians are basically the main mob of these things they’re exclusive to here so they’ll only spawn

In and around the monuments and they’re kind of dangerous but not really they’re more so dangerous and groups Guardians have two attacks kind of they they have this laser beam thing and then they have thorns which I guess isn’t really an attack against it’s a defense and then

The other mobs inside of these things are the elder Guardians other guardians are basically the bosses they they deal mining fatigue the thing that happened to me right just a minute ago and yeah they’re mean they’re basically a beefed-up Guardian not too much else special about that might mean they drop

Sponges which is cool but yeah elder Guardians are just strong ghosts looking gray guardians now the goal here inside of this monument is to find our way all the way up to the top of the thing and remove an elder Guardian then we need to find our way out along the

Side of this thing and remove the other two elder Guardians these things are basically giant mazes though and I’ve got to say it I’m sorry about the darkness in some of these rooms yeah my brightness is all the way up and these things are just dark so got really

Really sorry about that but can we go up here do we go up here I think we went up here did we no we we didn’t maybe yes I don’t know now you should definitely bring some random blocks aha bring some rain to Black Sun to these

Things when you go in here do you block off ways that are like dead ends so just like place blocks and okay I’ve been there there was nothing there and yeah that will make your life a whole lot easier and oh this room looks different so there are old that’s

An elder Guardian over there there are a few different room types and these things there’s like a center room edge rooms like this and this room is one of the rooms where the elder Guardian should always spawn so the layout is randomized but there are certain rooms

That have kind of like certain things they’re kind of predictable once you’ve done them a lot and yeah this is bad elder Guardian bad elder Guardian is gone not not bad enough for me but we need to get the sponge you should never forget the sponge sponge is

Not a renewable thing so if you have the opportunity to get some definitely get them now we’re gonna go ahead and swim around the outside of the fortress that’s what this area is to find another elder Guardian there should be one at the other end of this thing pretty much

Guardians no I don’t know I have to I have no time for the beam attack please thank you that’s what I thought uh we’re gonna go over here put your and there should be an elder Guardian in this next room mm no beam no you see the peepers

Not that bad but if there’s a bunch then it gets bad I saw the elder Guardian though you I’m sorry my friend my enemy my arch enemy you need to go away and these and you guys need to calm down it’s cool it’s good don’t know just stop

Laser beaming me I’m just here to remove your your leader that is it the small ones so you guys can stay if you don’t if you cooperate I will leave you alone the leader must go away leader Oh world like hey that’s pretty good you know what or we’ll go for the action

The action shot here Oh boom-boom got him got it nice okay so yeah there’s a little showcase of the thorns thing that I was talking about thorns basically just is it’s like a little protection thing I guess the guardians have it’s like basically ignore belitz not

That big of a deal but oh we didn’t get this bunch so let’s go ahead and get the sponge it should be in here somewhere oh I see it over there okay we’ll grab the sponge and then we need to go to the top of this thing all the way up to the

Top hmm so here’s the entrance again okay I mean I didn’t really see a way to go over there so we’ll block that off and where have we not gone have we gone this way we haven’t gone up there right um yes we did we went over there but what about

Over here did we go okay this goes down I’m sorry guys it’s amazed oh boy and we got hit with that again so when you get hit with mining fatigue you get hit with five minutes of the stuff so yeah not good you can get rid of it with

A milk buckets but I didn’t bring any milk bucket so we can’t get rid of it with milk buckets we’re gonna have to just wait not that big of a deal though uh what’s this this is oh right now that’s what I thought elder Guardian number three good bye you’re not cool

And now for me that’s what I thought oh boy Seoul monument number one is officially done not bad but this is bad four minutes left of mining fatigue yeah so I’ll show you this this is what mining fatigue does it makes you mine things really really slow like painfully

Slow so we got a glimpse of the center room I don’t remember if I pointed it out or not but there’s a central room with some gold blocks which is cool but also kind of useless and then there are some really good rooms inside of these things with sponges

Now the sponges are the main reason you would want to come to these things and that’s really why we’re doing it today if we can collect up sponge then we can actually remove water easier because that’s what sponge does but we have to find the sponge rooms now which is kind

Of difficult if you have mining fatigue I recommend just kind of digging around the fortress to find sponges so we need – wait unfortunately for the mining fatigue to go away but we have successfully broken out of the fortress so we have a new way in and out and

Actually breaking out of the top of the fortress is one of my big recommendations things my plan is to hopefully make this thing far like a really really cool productive farm and that means we would need to drain this whole area at least for the way that I

Want to do it and that takes a lot of sponge so yeah but let’s talk about conduits really quick conduits are basically water beacons they’ll make everything nice and bright they’ll make I you’d be able to breathe under the water and they’ll make breaking blocks faster doesn’t help when we have mining

Fatigue but it will help when we tell them to have mining fatigue now conduits usually need prismarine around them to actually work and unfortunately we we only have one person in total but we have a lot of prismarine around us if you bring a little bit of

Kelp and a conduit to an ocean monument you can find an area like this where you have a bit of a corner place the kelp down one block away from the corner kind of like an enchantment table and then place the conduit on top of it remove

The kelp and boom you actually have a working conduit bait in the water bar now or our oxygen bar excuse me it’s not going to go down anymore which is really good and you definitely notice that it got a whole lot brighter conduits are the secret to the elite tier big game

Remove writing technique because they make things really really easy if you can see everything and you don’t have to worry about breathing then if you die you you you were just goofy oh I have mining fatigue oh I can do it’s a great bring one if you have one if you don’t

Have one though not that big of a deal it’s not that hard to do without one I definitely recommend having a trident though Trident are amazing for this if we didn’t have this trident today maybe we would have died question marks maybe and maybe not you know what I’m gonna

Say we wouldn’t because no so our mining fatigue is gone now which is really really good that means we can actually mine around this fortress and hopefully find the things that we’re looking for first the thing that we’re not looking for is inside of here

I’m sorry gotta go quick got it go got it go right in here there’s gold blocks which is very nice but very useless because we don’t really use gold no it’s not that helpful it’s cool though don’t get me wrong you gotta go don’t do that

So there we go now we have the gold now the other thing that we need to find are the sponge rooms there should be two or three sponge rooms in this whole monument and unfortunately I didn’t see a single one what we were rating this thing so that’s going to require quite a

Bit of digging we’ll have to like kind of cut through this thing just randomly and hopefully come across the the sponge rooms usually they have dark prismarine on to them like this room maybe ah but yeah usually their rooms was like dark prismarine on the walls but not this one I guess

Hmm we should definitely have one every ocean monument usually has like like one or two or three to find these rooms if you’re in like a situation like i am i recommend sort of just digging around the fortress kind of just cutting from room to room to room to eventually

Hopefully find the sponges that you are after the sponges aren’t the good loot please where could this bunches be that’s under mmm here’s a dark prison room is this sponge room no it’s not Wow that is definitely a yikes for me because I really literally cannot find

The sponge room I’ve dug almost through every room in this thing or at least what I think is every room in this thing now I’ve cut lots of always through the fortress and just nothing like like nothing at all which is really really weird so I think that decides it

We’re gonna have to take on the second fortress even if I didn’t want you I kind of have to yeah alright let’s go ahead and recover our conduit and then move on to another ocean monument and hopefully in this next one we’ll have so much sponge that I wouldn’t even need

Sponge from this one I’m I’m betting that I’m missing it somehow I don’t know how but I bet that’s what’s happening here you are you are coming with me thank you for your help the conduit made my life so so easy so monument number two where is monument number two I can’t

Really remember you see I have two options here I could go back well I feel like no matter what I need to go back to our base then from our base I think I could probably grab our maps and start flying around I want to say there was

One up here to the north I just can’t remember so I think we’re gonna have to go on yeah a little bit of an adventure I forgot my Rockets they’re in the shelter box yeah we’re gonna have to go on like a little bit of an adventure

Because I don’t have any other ones marked up here I know of – way way way in the south but I was looking for one I I didn’t really need to go down and do both of those I’d rather stick to the north and we haven’t mapped it all

Anyways so wish me luck let me go get my rockets and then the maps and we’ll meet back up I think at the next Monument wherever that is oh right well would you look at what I found this is another monument over there you can kind of see

It kind of not and but yeah that is definitely not the same one we are much much farther north I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this one to be honest but you know what we’re gonna stop here and do the pro game or move on this one so for

The pro gamer moved to be done successfully we need to be fast first and foremost we need to be fast second we need to bring our conduit and not all of these rockets yeah I didn’t know how many Rockets to make but yeah we definitely don’t need

Those we also don’t want to bring the Electra that could be bad but I’m yeah yeah we’re gonna leave it here so armor on conduit and then pickaxe that’s the other thing that we need what our goal is and we might not do it successfully

But we need to get to the top of this thing and break a single black hole inside of it so here goes nothing and we’re kind of far so honestly you might want to like Electra over and land right at the top of it or something

But if we can break a hole in the top of this thing then we have an easy way into the top Guardian so there we go we have a hole in the top now we can go in or go up there whenever we need you now the

Other thing that we should do inside of this fortress it’s time to make our life easy is this place kelp place conduit remove kelp and we’re good to go now I’m doing kelp because you can break help like in – oh hi hi buddy uh what you

Doing yeah anyways I I do kelp because you can break it instantly even if you have mining fatigue which we still don’t because this thing has a very tiny brain and it’s also no oh now it got me okay not cool man it’s gone it’s gone from

The world now yeah okay there’s another Boulder or an iceberg thing inside of the fortress very nice I don’t know that may be messed with it before how we have like ice inside of our other monument I mean it was barely there but I really hope there are sponge rooms in this one

Like big-time I’d like to show you guys what a sponge room is to like for those of you oh hey other guardian room this has just got to be about the easiest temple monument run ever other than the large amount of Guardian fish beam things go away that’s not

Necessary the elder Guardians like to come and try and swim through these doors you’re not meant to go through that buddy sorry okay so that’s number two good and done now what we can do is actually go out of this forest entirely I don’t think we

Need to go down I think I messed up we can go back this way and then go down over here and then go out and then we can swim all the way over to the top of this thing we just we just need to be careful because this one is kind of

Dangerous but we can take the last one out maybe yes we definitely can remove the last one and then we just successfully oh no we’re like again uh-huh now we have successfully speed around this ocean monument all within our first I guess like striking of mining fatigue so

Now we really just need to wait and also find the sponge rooms we need the sponge rooms this time so please minecraft gods give me many sponge and we didn’t even find like the center room this was seriously the easiest monument in the world I mean I’m not complaining this

That’s good but wow I like it yeah so I guess the plan here is to kind of wait around for the mining fatigue to go away maybe I’ll harvest some of these Guardians just kind of kill them target practice and then we need to find the sponges mining fatigue gone in three

Two oh I thought mining fatigue is going to be gone and now we will do this sponge finding method extremes and again that sponge finding method extreme is to literally just carve hallways out from the front of this fortress to the back of it monument fortress same thing right

Make long hallways and hopefully you will find the sponge room that you have always been dreaming of praying for hoping for thinking about sponge room where are you oh I spoke too soon here is a sponge room this is what it looks like lots of sponge so you could probably get like 20

Two-thirty sponge from these rooms this is good these are the rooms that you’re looking for inside of these things this is what I haven’t been able to find all along and depending on how this fortress ends up like if we don’t have like a stack of sponge by the end of this then

I’m going to actually find another one and probably just time-lapse it go right through it really quick because you kind of get it at this point I feel like so hey I mean if you want an episode of all only monument rating you let me know and

I’ll make that episode but this is what we’re here for the big yellow fries I’m happy now and wow we got actually over a half a stack from that one not or no no we got one under a half a stack because I had three to start with not bad not

Bad at all so now where are the other ones uh-huh the middle room not bad I’ll I’ll take the gold while I’m here thank you very much oh boy a sponge room number two okay so it’s been some time I have swam pretty much around this whole fortress

Thing here monument yeah the same thing and I found a little over a stack of sponges which is pretty good if you ask me so what we’re gonna go ahead and do is take our conduit and leave this monument and I think I am going to do

What I said I was gonna do a minute ago which is fine wherever I left my shelter box maybe I put it in the ender chest we’re gonna hope that I’m gonna go ahead and fly around where did I really put it boy I’m gonna fly around and find some

More some more monuments wish me luck oh wow I wasn’t planning on cutting back yeah not like at all until the outro but look at this this here is there’s a cat this is a a ghost town it’s a what did they call it zombie village something

Like that and these are like really rare Wow it’s like completely overrun it generates like this wow this is really really cool I didn’t even know this was up here um I I don’t want to really take the loot because they don’t have a lot

Of room for this stuff but wow I am really really amazed I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these in survival before this is crazy I definitely need to mark this on our map wow that’s cool Well one ocean monument and a whole lot of flying later and this is our loop for the day other than the gold blocks I accidently mix those in with the other gold blocks on my under chest so yeah not bad though snack and a half a sponge

Is the third monument that I took on just it only have one sponsor which was kind of a bummer but I guess it’s okay stack and a half is really not bad at all so today’s comment of the day is a different one today I’m taking a post

From the subreddit the boats was from you slash Lang snow and it was actually a video like a two or three minute long video on basically some things that I could do to improve stuff or fix things in the world and I’ve got to say I absolutely loved the video that was

The video was how to fix this area so that is now fixed and good to go then the other one is actually over at the mob farm and by the way this fix is so I can put the trap doors back there make things look good again so I will do that

In between episodes but the other thing is over here at the mob farm but on the way I need to show you something you notice anything missing like right there uh-huh uh-huh well if we go down this hill we will notice I have done a lot of work over here terraforming trying to

Make the sale look better and I’m I’ve got it to a point where I think I’m pretty actually like really happy with it I moved the map wall over to here this is a much better spot more of a permanent location and then we have a lot more markers on the map including

Finally a you are here marker for our base so two monuments there we went to this one we went to that one and then we went to this one over here today we still have these – way down here there are definitely some in this ocean over here and then there’s that

One all the way over there by the jungle but yeah the map wall is a lot more filled in and I think it looks a lot better over here – so I don’t know I had a lot of fun flying around I might go ahead and in between episodes just fly

Around fill in maps I don’t know about that yet but yeah I I think this looks a lot better over there but anyways the other thing that I could fix is over here at the mob farm area so I have an issue with some ops not dying and I was

Thinking that maybe I could do like an arrow thing to kill the mobs but Liang Snow and the video pointed out that I could do actually campfires in here and the mobs will land on the campfires and take damage but the the drops will still be picked up which is absolutely amazing

Now I didn’t really realize how big our our setup in here is so that’s what I will definitely need more campfires but this is an amazing solution to the issue of mobs kind of standing around in here and not taking damage and whoops I didn’t fix I yet but yeah so thank you
