What’s up guys and welcome back to wbc builds and welcome to part three of the haunted mansion tutorial series so this is the final video in the series i’m gonna be showing you guys how to build the main roof and also that big iconic central tower so on screen now you’ll be Able to see the materials list for this section only if you’ve missed anything from the previous sections and please head on back over to those other videos and check out which bits you’re needing so i’m not going to show you guys how to put this in the landscape i’ve got here You guys can decide on how you place it in your world but i’ve really enjoyed showing you guys how to build the house so without further ado let’s get into the video so let’s pick up where we left off last time that was the back of the house We’re going to work our way around now to the front tower so the first thing you want to do is grab out some jungle planks and build a square of 8×8 around the center here now on the corners you want to build up nine more blocks so we have an entire total height Of 10 blocks from where the sandstone roof is build it around into another square on top of that so we’ve got eight by eight square up here and now you’ve got your frame for the main tower so we’re gonna come around add a bit of texture in there with some stripped jungle wood Now coming around to the front of the building it’s time to place in the main central window so building up either side of the pillars we want to go for another section of jungle planks and jungle wood all the way up through there i’m going to come into the middle Some birch trap doors and place three up either side and then four in the center like you can see i’m doing there on top of the three you want to place upside down smooth sandstone stairs then some cut sandstone above that and between those some smooth sandstone stairs now across The top here we want to place fill in that gap there with some jungle stairs and then place two upside down jungle stairs above that so you get that nice little indent there and then finish off the top by filling it in with some more jungle plants and jungle wood So let’s come around to the side now and fill in one more layer of jungle planks across the bottom there so it’s one block higher than the front window and fill up the sides again like we did on the front this time the windows only go to be two by two So we need to fill in some more walls as well so we get the right height going on there so you can see here i’m placing in some upside down sandstone stairs and then some trapdoors in between there so we only got this nice little square window the little detail above the Window is the same as the front so four jungle stairs across there and then two upside down across the top and then place in full blocks on the side so you get that nice little detail coming around to the other side it’s exactly the same as that other window just was To fill the walls up so they’ve only got a two by two gap in the middle and then we’re gonna fill in that bottom piece there as well so it’s now two blocks up from where the sandstone roof was two trapdoors on the side and in the same little detail above there And fill that in and then hey presto you’ve got yourself the towel windows all in and ready to go so we’re going to come around now to the front and put in the little balcony so and the site stairs followed by some more on top of that to Give you a nice little bracket detail then across the middle here we’re going to go for some full blocks of andesite and some slabs across the front and decide walls on the corner and then birch fences through the center there sorry fence gates so we’re going to come and actually Start on the main roof now it’s finally time to do that so we’re going to go around and add an entire course of white concrete on top of all of the jungle here but now not all of it we’re gonna go around and see where i’m placing in Some jungle planks here as well that’s because we’ve got windows up on this upper level so go around and sort of mimic what i’ve done there so instead of having two wide windows looking at that little bay section it’s only gonna be one wide and you’ve got The central block in there so again come on round this white concrete you can see i’m pulling it off from the building’s outline by one block on these corners here where the base are and that’s because there is another bay window up in there coming across the whole back Just fill it up with white concrete all the way around so we finish off this bit because that’s where a full roof is going to go later on so you can see here i’m doing the same thing with the base so you’ve got the white concrete coming one block Out and then we’re going to carry on round put some jungle planks in like i’m doing there and then more white concrete background until we reach the tower again so with that done it’s time to fill in the floor so we actually have our floor level in And we’re going to come through later on and put the floor plan on top i’ve included the little link to it down below but i will show you a little bit of it later on on screen so you can see where the window indent is make sure you’ve got like a little Section that isn’t floor this just lets a bit of light in although these are mock windows they don’t actually let any light into the building it just helps from the outside make it look a little bit better rather than having floor straight up against the glass i’ve Just used a fill command there with world edit to fill that in but you guys can do it by hand if you’re building this in survival next step is to go around and add all of these iron trap doors one block below the white concrete as you can see There leaving it so they don’t go across the front here because these are still continuations of the bays going up so we don’t want the iron trap doors to go across to change that you can see what i’ve done here as well on the corners is where that white concrete is Bring one more iron trap door out from the extent of that so it sort of lines up where the bay is makes more sense when you look at it in game and we’re just doing the same round here now go around and do one um sort of miss one place one With the polished andesite stairs until we get to this corner here it’s full of what i’ve done on screen with that so it’s untrapped doors in the corners like so and then it’s an upside down polished and side stair on the edge and that gives you the edge of that bay Now go back round where you’ve missed one place in an iron trap door this is the same as what we’ve done with the rest of the building so far and it’s the same round here as what we’ve just on the other side so the iron trap door in And then place the polished and side stair off the back of that just helps you when you’re placing blocks as you can see and the same again around here so keep carrying on this pattern as we go all the way back around the white concrete on the corners miss it so you don’t Place anything in there now i can you can put in an iron trap door if you want i always leave my corners empty as i don’t like how they look so sharp especially for a man’s side roof like we’re building here and it’s the same on the other side of the building So go around and put in that sort of string of iron trap doors all the way around this side making sure you leave that section where the bay is so it doesn’t cut it off and it would look a bit weird if you did that so we’re gonna come around the back It’s the same again so you’re gonna have to stop the iron trap doors there because you’ve got slabs underneath it it’s a little bit of a design flaw but again it doesn’t look too bad once all details are in so we’re going to go around and Do the miss one place one with the underside stairs and the untrapped doors get into that corner again and make sure you place off the polished and side stair so it sort of floats in mid-air there it’ll make more sense as to why it’s doing that later on I’m going to come back around and finish off the front here and it’s time to start on the actual mansard roof i can’t wait to show you guys this so we’re going to go around and play some undecided stairs across the top of all of those iron trap doors leaving Three blocks in the center as you can see there on top of those three blocks you can see we’re going to place in some polished andesite on top of the polished and site we’re going to place in three blocks of andesite walls and i’ve done the same in the corner there That is on top of a piece of black stone brick now you can see there’s an underside wall uh stair that hangs over the edge where we’ve got that polish down the side and that’s what you want to do for that to give yourself some detail for this bay window when we Get around to that in a bit what i’ve done here is i’ve gone around and placed an entire course of blackstone behind the andesite and we’re now building that three blocks up to form the first wall of the mansard roof this goes all the way around To where we placed all of that black stone then we’re going to go back around and start on the window proper which is that nice bit in the center there the underside walls so going around to the front what you want to do is place some bone blocks behind these anderson walls Leaving the center one because in the center one you want to place in some more anderson walls and in between that fill up with the glass planes we’ve been using throughout this entire build so we’re going to step the wall back one more now so the roof is Starting to take a bit more shape so you go one block back and then two blocks up as you can see i’m doing and then this is going to stop here at this point and place one block of black stone bricks on top of the bone blocks So you get the start of the window so we’re going to start putting the the roof onto the window now and what you want to do here is place some upside down polished underside stairs and alternate in with some normal underside stairs on top of the polished underside stairs Place some normal underside stairs and then some black stone brick stairs behind that i’ve said stairs too many times it’s getting confusing in between all of this place down some white concrete and then in front of the white concrete you want to place some upside down polish downside stairs With some andesite slabs on top of that i’m gonna go back around and carry on building up the roof behind it a little bit more so you’re gonna place in some slabs on top of that white concrete as you can see and a whole block of black stone on top Of that and then an upside down polished and the side stair with the main detail for the spike that we’ve done around the whole build so far it’s going to carry this roof on around the corner now so we’re building up this by two more blocks high here In this corner you want to place in two more underside walls and carry that wall all the way around to this bay section on the side here so we’re going to go around now and just carry on this section of the roof to make sure it’s all Finished off so we want to step it back once more up here and then from there we’re going to place in some stairs on top of that so we get the final product so you want to go around and place in some black stone stairs and then on the corner again Placing some underside walls and you can see here we’re just placing the stairs across the back of this window with a full block just where that ridge point is so we’re gonna come around now to this side and you can see here we’re placing in a course of black stone On the back there and actually no we need to remove that of course the black stone and place it back in again because it is meant to go there and then on top of that you want to place in some more black stone stairs and carry that whole ridge around So we’ve got a kind of the first corner of this man-sized roof now and i’m really looking forward to showing you guys how to build the rest of it so we’re going to come across the top here and place in some more white concrete and that goes all the way around the top Of these blackstone roofs so carried out across the top there on the corners as well and then round the edge into this area which would be the bridge of where the bay is going to go on so let’s take a proper look at this corner just in case you’ve missed anything with The design of it you can see how it looks there on the bay you’ve got your step of three then two one block behind it and then you’ve got your black stone stairs on top of that and we’re going to come around now to do the other side as well And this building is really really starting to take shape and i actually do not doing this i remember how much i loved this building anyway that’s a side note let’s get on to this side here again so count in three blocks from the tower there and then leave that section of Three blocks clear in the middle like we did on the other side i want to show you guys this again a little bit more slowed down than the other one because this makes a bit more sense with the window itself so in those gaps we’ve got left on top of the polished anodized Stairs place in some polished and size on top of those place in the three blocks of the andesite walls and it’s the same again in the corner there gonna go up three more blocks here with the walls so we’ve got the start of the mansard roof placing the bone blocks behind those two Walls and then more walls behind that wall and fill up with the glass planes like so planes panes and then we’re going to carry on placing in all of the black stone around here and we’re going to step back once more again so we’ve got the first part Of the mansard roof done you can see how that’s looking now it’s going to come through like i said and step back one more block up so we’ve got the underside walls there in the corner and we’re going to go around and place in the two high section of walls There we’re leaving the section clear in front of the window because you want to go one block up one more on top of that bone brick and then place in the black stone stair and then you’ve got your underside stairs on top of the polished and the sides And then you’ve got the alternating pattern across the front there like we had on the other side then you want to go place in that white concrete and the side slabs across the top there followed by black stone slabs and then you’ve got the whole full block of black stone across The top as well and then you want to go for the foliage polished and the side stair upside down at the front of the ridge of this and yeah i really can’t say stairs it’s not much it becomes quite a mission so i apologize for stuttering on that And i’m gonna place a little detail with the spike a cop there so this is now nearly done with this we’re gonna place the white concrete around the top like so that sits on top of the black stone stairs there and it carries on all the way around To the side of this base so let’s carry on building that bay up you can see here we’re placing the blackstone stairs in the wrong position here need to go one more block back step it back once more like so and then carry the white concrete Around the top so we’ve got a finished section up here now it’s time to move on to actually getting the details in the bays these are quite detailed so i’m going to try and slow it down as best as i possibly can but that’s what the front the building’s Looking like now guys so that should be how you’re looking as well okay so we’re gonna come in and start building up this little window here so placing the jungle planks three blocks high and then four blocks in the center there what you want to do now is place some More black stone on the other side there just to give the idea where the wall is going to go so up the middle you want to place in some birch trap doors so you sort of bring the wall in a bit more and then some smooth sandstone stairs Above that what i’m doing now is placing in the sections of brick walls so this is going to go across the top here you can see i’ve got four across the bottom three across the center and then one at the top and then you place black stone up the outside edges so you End up with it like that now in the top here we’re going to place in one more piece of brick wall and that is how that little bay section works like that going around you saw i placed in two more pieces of black stone there because that is actually technically Four blocks high because you haven’t got the andesite walls on there so you can’t see that from this edge just yet let’s go come back around again to the front now and start doing the actual details of the andesite uh stairs you can see i just added them in There so we’ve got them the same either side now so what you want to do here is place in some upside down and the side stairs above the ones we’ve already got on the outside on top of that you want to place in a one block of underside another stair on Top of that then an upside down stair behind that one more block of van der site another two sandstone side stairs and an upside down once again and then some polished and the side stairs above that then upside down normal and the side stair now we’re Going to come inside and do the extra little bits of detail we’re using stone brick stairs for this and then in between those you want to place in an arch of stone brick slabs as you can see across the top there now on top of that you want to go For another arch of stone brick stairs arching over the top there leaving the pinnacle there to place in an upside down stone brick stair now we’re gonna go in here and place in some underside walls up to the top there and then in between these bits here We’re going to place in some upside down stone brick stairs and then you’ve got yourself the main details for this bay it does look quite cool doesn’t it it does give when you put some shaders on some nice little details inside there then i’ll put some underside walls up Here and place the normal spike detail on so we’ve got the never brick fence and then on top of that meant to go place an iron fence as well but i clearly have forgotten that because i do forget these things make sure you also don’t forget to put The glass in these windows down here that i have just done so that’s just full blocks of glass as well in there so we’ll come around now and do probably what is the most complicated part of this roof and it took me ages to try and figure out how To show you how to build it so just follow what i’m doing on the screen here now so what we’re going to do is carry on the wall around three blocks high like that placing in the underside stairs around the bottom you can see i’ve placed a solo block of black stone there That i’m now placing three blocks of andesite walls on top of and that is acting as a sort of extra corner now that brings it around so we carry on this bay as we would do the other bay and you can see there i’ve placed in a second corner With some more andesite walls and hopefully that is making a little bit more sense as to what’s going on there we’re gonna put another course of blackstone bricks behind that and on top of that we’re gonna place in some blackstone stairs as we come on around Like you can see here so this little area is not the easiest to build so if you need to stop and pause and check out that bit a bit more of a slow motion approach then please do i wasn’t very clear when i tried to make the video on it Because it was really quite hard to get sort of the details shown but as you can see here we bring around the white concrete again on the top so we’re going to come in here and build this little bay window now so it’s two blocks high placing in a smooth sandstone stair Upside down there so you get your nice little window details now under here you can see i’m placing in some upside down and the side stairs in a sort of detail where you’ve got them backwards on each other so you can see a nice little pattern forming What we’re going to do here is fill up the same area again with the brick fence brick walls so we’re going to place in too high like that and then fill up the middle section as well so you’ve got one block wide up through there it’s much easier with these sort of Details to watch what’s going on rather than me trying to explain it unfortunately i am sorry about that and then just carry on there with some more brick walls what we’re going to do around here is the same detail we did on the other side So you want to do upside down and the side stairs and you’ve got an aside block on top of that some more underside stairs one normal way up one backwards then you’ve got one more block of anger sight and it’s the same little detail again And at the top is polished down the side complete with a piece of upside down and a slight stair so we’re going to come through here and place in the stone brick stairs upside down then you will go through and place the arch in again above that so you’ve got The stone brick slabs through there uh forever those and above that you want to go for more stone brick slabs and an upside down stone brick stair to finish that off and then we’re going to go through and add in some more andesite walls and then the upside down stone brick Stairs and hey presto we managed to make it through these bays here so i’m going to go through and add the final little detail at the top here with the spike with the iron fence on top this time and that is that little bait done so come on around and finish off The back of this roof so make sure you guys go back and re-watch that bit if you were confused by it uh we are going to do it on the other side again as well so it should become second nature by the time you finished watching this video What you can see i’m doing here is just the ordinary going around and placing three blocks high of black stone leaving the corner there for the anderson wall and then we’re going to place in some more anderson walls above that as well to form the corners now we’re going to step back One and go up two blocks with the black stone as well and then one more block behind to that with the black stone the stairs on top again as we’ve done previously with the rest of the roof now this just carries on across the entirety of the back but first of all We’re placing the chimney so counting up five blocks up of jungle planks and then two blocks wide on top of that i’m gonna place in two blocks of polished diorite with some anvils on top of that and there’s some polished diorite slabs on top of that So that is actually four blocks in from the outside and it’s the same again on the other side of the roof as well so what we’re going to do here is just carry on the back of this roof so it’s building up three blocks high All the way across the back like so and i’m gonna go around now and place in some underside stairs all the way in so they link up with the black stone roof that we did in the previous episode so behind this layer of three block high Black stones to the place in the layer of two block high black stone bricks and then come around to the corner and start putting in the andesite walls again as we’ve done previously says three blocks up like that and then two blocks up again and then behind that one more block Where we place the stairs on top so we get that nice little detail in there and then we can place on the white concrete above that as well and that is the back of the roof done there is no more to it really it is one of the most simplest roofs i think I’ve ever done around the back but that’s kind of how these buildings go so like i said we’re gonna count in four blocks from the edge and place in another five block high two block wide chimney here with the polished diorite and the anvils on top of that with the polished Diorite slabs so with that done we can now come around to the base again here and then place in the rest of these andesite stairs making sure you place that one that overhangs at the front of the bay like so filling in the rest of the walls Here you can see we’re gonna go around and put in the next course as well which is two blocks high and then bring around the stairs as well which is only one block high of those and then the white concrete on top but for the base bring it back In the center rather than on top of the bricks so we’re going to go through here and place in this nice little pattern again with the free and undersized stairs upside down and placed back on each other and it’s placing in two more blocks of a jungle planks there to form the walls And then go in and place the window details in which is an upside down sandstone stair or smooth sandstone stair at the top and then some glass in the center there now in between here and the rest of the black stone we’ll place in some brick walls as you can see I’m doing it now that carries on the whole sort of way up with one block in the center like that all the way up to the white concrete going around and placing the rest of the black stone now as you can see the profile a bit there making sure you follow it correctly Where you’ve got the three then the two and then the one or as you can see there four three two i’m gonna go around now and place in the andesite details around here so again it’s a upside down and a side stair block of underside normal way upstair Back to front upside down stair a andesite block and then as you can see it carries on around the other side as well then we’ve got the polished and the side at the top there with the normal and the site stair upside down gonna come on in and Do the same details again with the stone brick stairs and stone brick slabs so build yourself an archway across there another archway across the top with an upside down stone brick stair and then we’re gonna put in some more anderson walls and upside down stairs and then carry that underside Wall on up to the top and put the spike through it come back round now and carry on this wall again as i said this one’s a little bit complicated so just watch closely as to what’s going on i know it’s going quite quickly so what we’re going to do here is place In the corner which is the andesite walls so we’ve got three then two then one then bring that all the way around so it carries on all the way up to this next bay which looks like that so get in the underside walls there again and we’re gonna speed through this one a Little bit because we’ve built three already and they’re exactly all the same so coming in here putting the window in you want the birch trap doors up the inside facing outwards like so and then we’re gonna have the upside down sandstone stairs above that as well and then the full blocks of Glass behind that placing in the brick walls there so it fills in the gap between the black stone and the walls and then we’re going to go around and add all the undecided dressing now and the stone brick stairs so after this we’re going to go through Into the inside of the house and start doing the internal layout like i mentioned last two parts i showed you guys the layout on screen i also included in the description below as a download for you guys to look at zoom in and see what you need to see it Will be a case of you do that yourself as that’s how i’m sort of running these tutorials because there isn’t much time for me to count out every single block on the internals for you unfortunately so now let’s get on that on screen and show you guys How the layout is going to look so obviously pause now so you can take the measurements that you need as i said it’s down below if you guys download as well so once you’ve got that it’s time for us to jump back inside and it’s not putting the internal walls up To the right height and then start getting the actual like main ceilings in and then that’s it done for the floor plan and we’ve only got to focus on putting the main roof on and the tower roof so let’s get into the internals of this one We’re going to be using kelp blocks for the rules so carry on building that all the way up so you can see the lip of the black stone there that’s four blocks high so you need to build it all the way up so it’s the same there as i mentioned before these Windows on the outside on the edges aren’t real windows so you can cover that up with the walls if you want to leave them open your own design then that’s perfectly fine with me you know just do what you want to do with that but like i said this is all Just kelp blocks all the way around where you’ve got the doorways obviously just leave the two block high gap so you can put the doors in there we’re gonna be using dark oak doors for that uh so just go around and place those in now the only final thing we’ve got to do Here is put the banister in for the uh stairway we’ll do that in a second but first things you need to come over here and put in the glass blocks for this window this is the main window at the front of the house so for this you just want to use four Blocks of light gray stained glass or white glasses we’re using in this case here so put that in and then that’s that’s all done for that so it’s time to go back over and put in the anvils to form the banister for this stairway and then that is the Top floor all finished that’s the internals done i mean there’s a lot more you could probably do with this place if you want to so we’re gonna go around now and put the cornice in place which is just dark oak stairs upside down on top of the woo The other walls and then on top of this you want to fill it all in with smooth sandstone as we’ve done with the previous two floors and then once we’re done with that it’s time to jump on and start putting in the main section of the roof which is relatively quite easy When compared with what we’ve done with the mansard section so like i said just go around and now fill this up with smooth sandstone so you can get that nice finish for the ceiling so moving on now to the main roof you want to come over to the corner And place in one slab of andesite on top of the blackstone so it’s fully below the white concrete it’s on the top section of the blackstone lip round there now we want to go around to all four corners and do this because we’re going to square this up well Turn it into a rectangle that’s going to say square it up but it’s clearly not square and now what you want to do is go back into all of the corners and count up eight slabs high so we’re gonna have this going up four blocks in total but it needs to go Up in segments of you know one slab and then another slab with another slab so you need to cut up eight until we get to the the ridge of the roof then once we get to the ridge it’s a sort of you go around and you connect them all together so they Start to form an actual top so here we are okay we’re gonna go one and then another slab and then keep going up in slabs diagonal until you reach eight blocks up so one two three four number five and then we’re gonna have six seven and then once more for eight so once That’s complete it’s time to go around and do that to all the other three corners now and you’ll notice when they meet in the middle we just need to connect them in with some underside slabs so form a little sort of rectangle on the top and then once that’s done It’s time to go around and add in loads of black stone brick slabs to the rest of the building so that would go around and join up all of these andesite corners that we’ve done so once that’s done then that will start to really look like a proper house And there’s only a few little touches we’ve got to do on this main roof before we can move on to the tower so as you can see here it’s going to go around place in on the bottom layer uh some full blocks of black stone Bricks you don’t have to do that you can use slabs if you’ve only got slabs available to you but you know it just makes it easier to go around with full blocks on that base level so we’re going to come in now to the back of the tower and just do the little Details in here so it’s two full blocks on the side and then it slabs in front of that and then you can fill up the rest of the tower there with just some jungle planks so it’s all nice and tidy the way coming back to the main roof again like I said just go on around and keep adding those layers in there because that just makes this roof really what it is just keep doing that all the way up Right so we’ve got to the top now and now it’s time to come into that little section and place uh some up some some black stone bricks underneath there so it sort of sits below the slab level you can obviously put it underneath first and then Bring it across and that is the roof complete it’s just trying to put some chimneys in so we’re going to have some small chimneys on the inside and two larger ones on the outside so coming in one block from the edge you want to count up two blocks place one block of polished Dye right on top of that and some anvils and then you can see the middle ones are one block lower it’s the same same design we’ve used for the chimneys across the rest of the house so with the chimneys done that is this main roof finished What we got to do next is go around and add the little details on the top of the white concrete but we can do that in a second so we’re going to come on down now to the front the building again and in front of the white concrete Uh on the on the front of the white concrete we’ll be placing in some iron trap doors uh so one place one leave ones like we done with the rest of the building because in between those we’re gonna be placing in some upside down stairs so you can see on the corner There i’ve missed two just to keep the pattern alive then when you get to the little ridges you place one in the corner then you also place one in your corner on the other side but because it’s a two block wide building you get some strange anomalies like You’ve got there and then you place one there so you don’t get them on the corners you can see here we’re going to go around but we’re going to miss the details behind the chimneys so you leave two blocks there then carry on the one one place one not One and then we’re going to carry on like so so you can get a center of two there it makes more sense when you go around to do it it’s a bit hard to show off like this so you’re gonna get to the corner again where you don’t need to go one On there and you just carry on around to this little bridge same again in the corners place one leave one and then in the corners again carry on all the way around like i said next we’re gonna go around and play some stairs in between there and it’s the case i’m putting another Course of iron trap doors along the top of that catching it from this view it’s really nice you can start to see how well this building is coming together so we’re going to carry on round the tower here you can see the pattern on there place one leave one place two leave one Place one leave one and then on the little corners like that make sure you place them all the way in so in between all of these iron trap doors you want to go around and place some diorite slabs by the looks of it i’ve said stairs i apologize completely That just tidies this all up and then you place along the top some iron trap doors now in my texture pack that you can download from my discord it makes iron trap doors look like quartz trapdoors which obviously is a lot nicer for buildings like this although iron trap doors really do work Quite well it’s just the holes in them that i don’t like particularly so if you want to have a look at this building how it should be then head on down to our discord and download the texture pack that adds some really nice little detail changes to blocks that you would still use In the same context another one is sandstone and like smooth sandstone makes it a little bit darker takes off horrible harsh yellowness to it which really does nicely blend with birch and oak then but yet carry on all the way around here you can see we’re leaving for the ridges Because when we’re going to come back around in a second we’re going to put on some iron fences and a little spikes on the corner so the whole sort of design gets pulled together like we did with those smaller roofs down on the porches same again around the tower here you Carry that on all the way around and making sure that looks just like that without putting the iron trap doors on top this time it’s going to come around now like i said and place in the andesite walls where we want the spikes to go You can see there we’ve come in one from the edge but it’s usually on every corner and a change of direction you want to place one of these andesite walls in on top of those and site walls we’ll go around and place in some never brick Fences and then some iron fences on top of that as well to finish all off but you can see what i’m doing here i’m bringing it down the ridges and you’ll do that all the way around here again like i said once you get around here to The little ridges carry on down there making sure you don’t leave any of them and putting all of the enzyme walls in there so we get all the spikes in the right place because that’s really what gives this building quite a nice dominating look to it so that’s finishing off there like i Said go around and add in the never brick stairs and then go back around again and add in the iron spikes on top where you can do it all at once i don’t know why i split this out into two parts looking at i’m like yeah why don’t you Just put them all at once i think it’s cause i forgot the iron fences are meant to go on as well and i had to fly back around and put them all back on or else it was gonna look a bit weird but like i said yeah just go around and Put all the iron fences on top uh in that texture pack as well it turns iron fences black which really does make this look so much nicer but don’t worry it does look so good vanilla still so the next step now is just to move back onto the main tower And start finishing off the roof for that so what you want to do here is go around and add an extra course of upside down polished diorite stairs there on top of the little ridge we put in that little ledge like i said didn’t have any more trapdoors on top of it So you should be able to do this and then in between all those gaps you can see we’re placing more iron trapdoors so it mimics the design just below it on the other course coming around to the back we’re going to do something a little bit different some Upside down polished and the side stairs and then just iron trap doors in between there to finish that off so that is this section of the tower done it’s time to carry on moving on up as they say so what we’re going to do here is go around and place a course of White concrete on top of all of these finishes we just put in here that just carries on around leaving the corners blank as i normally do because we’re gonna come back around and do something else with those so we’re gonna come around now and place in some polished underside stairs at the same Centers that you’ve got the diorite stairs below and in between here we’re going to go around and place in some slabs sorry some more trap doors but you can see what we’re doing here on the corners now which is just making a little indent so again it doesn’t have the full corner But it makes it look a bit nicer where we’ve got those iron trap doors on now in true fashion as we’ve done the below let’s go around with some underside stairs and then place in two polished and side blocks in the center like that uh so you’re leaving two underside Stairs in the center and this is gonna form like a little indent on the roof not a window as such but it’d be a nice little detail to have you can see i’m bending the stairs back on themselves on the corners this again just gives it a nice little Detail approach to it so that carries on around to all four sides of this tower so you can see what i’m doing on screen we’re gonna go up from here with some more little details in a second as well but just making sure we’re following along here So we’re around to the front again and it’s time to place in the black stone behind the walls here but first of all you want to place in some more underside all the way across the back like that and then some bone blocks on here to put these little windows in So we’re gonna put some underside walls up again as we’ve been using for the rest of our windows upside down polish down the side stairs and then some and slight slabs in between there then also we’re going to put some underside walls on the corners like we’ve done with the rest of the Man’s side roof because we are going to lift this roof up a few levels as well i apologize i think i didn’t say these were windows a second ago they clearly are very much windows i think i’ve forgotten what i’ve written down in my notes i went Yeah and these aren’t windows oh they actually are windows so i apologize for that but as you can see it’s the same on all four sides carrying that all the way across so you’ve got your polish and inside stairs on the top there mixed in with some undersized slabs We’re building this all up so these these walls here are built up by three blocks high so we’re gonna carry on this roof up by three blocks in a bit as well but we want to go around now and place in the pediments on top of these Windows so that’s just the pointy little bits above it but don’t forget to place inside full blocks of the the dark gray stained glass and we need six of those in each of these windows so it’s three by three high by two wide there’s underside stairs placed Backwards and then between that you want to place them upside down polished and the side stairs around the side stairs above that again to give it this nice little point and then behind the underside stairs you put upside down place some white concrete so you get a nice little backing to it We’ve done that elsewhere on the other tower in the previous part you can carry on this across the whole way and then we’re going to place in the roof in a second so you can see how that’s going to look but we are nearing the end of this Tutorial luckily so i hopefully you guys have been enjoying this it has been quite a mission so far for me to do is my biggest one yet so forgive me for a few of the faux pas in here but i will come back with some stronger ones later on this year So we’re going to carry on now with some black stone bricks build it up three blocks high while it’s full blocks because you’ve got to count the space behind and it’s going to go around all the way around the rest of the square as well behind this we’re going to set it back One and then carry on up with some more underside walls on the corners and more black stone again okay so coming back into the corners now placing a block around the site and build it up three blocks high again with the andesite walls do this in all four corners and we can Start bringing this roof into a point so once you’ve done that it’s time to go around and place in some black stone up three blocks again behind all of this and including the area behind the windows we’re going to come around and finish off the little gaps in between the Windows and the walls in a second what you want to do here is bring out some black stone slabs and also some black stone stairs as well sorry not stairs full blocks and then stairs on top like that so that carries on around the whole way so it goes slab full block Black stone and brick stairs and then that just finishes it off nicely so you don’t see that bone block behind it nor the white concrete once that’s done we’re going to go on up again and carry on bringing this roof in so we put in little andesite blocks again in the Corners and count up two blocks high with the endocyte walls this time and then go around and finish it off with more black stone bricks but we want to go up three blocks high of the blackstone bricks and place it on top of the andesite walls this time so we’re Going to put on a second roof on top of this tower it gets a bit crazy at this point so we’re going to go around now and put in a few more details on top of this so you’re going to put in some black stone slabs here to finish that Off to bring it up a little bit more make it feel a little bit more pointy so that’s just four slabs on each side bringing it in one block from the outside so we’re going to move on up now to the final part of this tower And that is placing in some upside down polished and the side stairs on the corners and also finishing that off with some polished diorite slabs in the center and the gaps left between you want to place in some iron trapdoors again this is something similar as we did on the other Tower in the previous part so once that’s done it’s time to go on up and place in some more underside walls in the corners so placing in two more on there on top of a full block of andesite this will give you some nice height to this wall In between those full blocks around the site want to place in some more black stone bricks three blocks high again so we’re carrying that all the way up then we’re going to step it in one more time behind that so you want to go around and place in Some black stone on the corners as slabs then a little backs back paste um black stone stair and then some upside down polished and the side stairs and then some normal normal right way around and the side stairs on top of that wow that was confusing wasn’t it so let’s Say that again so we want to put down some black stone slabs some underside stairs and then upside down polished underside stairs and then you’ve got underside stairs on top so that carries that all the way around like so that’s the little indent i was thinking we’re building on the second Level sorry guys i was like what why doesn’t look like the same yeah that’s what that was so we’re gonna carry on now it’s the final part of this tower so place in two more blackstone slabs on each of the sides and the side in the corners and then Some more andesite walls on top of that going up by two three blocks this time so three blocks on each of the corners like that and fill that in with black stone again all the way up to the same height and then once we’ve done that we’re going to Place another course of black stone on top of the black stone we’ve got here and then a block of full andesite on top of these andesite walls and that’s going to form the platform for our final bit of the roof which after that we need to go around And place them upside down and the size stairs around the new section we just built and then on top of that we’re going to place in some iron trap doors and then some more underside walls so we’ll see what we’re doing in a second but like i said go all The way around here leaving the corners free as we normally do with this and then in on top of that play some iron trap doors as a sort of final touch on those corners you can see the exposed andesite place some underside walls there and then between that place some iron fences and On top of the iron fences we need to put on the spikes so this is just the normal uh normal spikes we’ve done throughout the whole thing and then you fill in a little gap there with extra black stone and you know what guys that is it We have finished the building it is finally done i know it’s taken me a few months in between getting these parts out and i do apologize for that but i hope you guys have enjoyed building this and if you want to see a bit more about this building if you Don’t know the history behind it then please check out my other videos on this building including the internal tour thank you guys for watching and i’ll see you next time you Video Information

By popular demand I bring you “Part 3” of my Haunted Second Empire Mansion Tutorial. In this mini series I will show you how to build my recent American Victorian Minecraft Mansion. This series will take the form a mostly third person “time lapse” style with a helpful narration of what is coming up and what to look out for. Let me know if you guys like this style of tutorial and feel free to give me pointer on how to improve my delivery. In this part we build the main roof, second floor and the main second empire tower and roof.
Apologies as it seems the screen goes blank for 2 seconds at 3:12
