Hey brats welcome back to the channel and minecraft on psvr has finally dropped but the big question on everyone’s minds why can we not use the move controllers so let’s take some time and talk about it today so after four years of waiting to see if minecraft would ever come to psvr We finally have it it finally released this last week and people were super excited those of you who could get in if you couldn’t if there’s something freezing if it’s broken if you can’t get into immersive mode i do have another video check that out and make sure that’ll get You into the game if you’re having problems but why does it not have motion controller support everyone is asking i even had it in the title of my live stream that move controllers didn’t work for it and that was the biggest question i got the whole live stream still was do The move controllers work so let’s look at some other footage now a lot of you have seen footage where people have motion controllers on pc and they’re actually able to attack and kill things in the world i’m sorry just like you can see there i was moving my hand to strike with the Sword now this has created the misconception that there is motion controller support on pc that is actually not true so this right here i’m using vivecraft that is a user-made mod that makes java edition minecraft work on pc in vr but this is not made or supported necessarily by mojang or microsoft This was user made it works quite well for what it is but you can definitely tell when you’re playing it that it is not built for vr it’s not native vr it is after support made by people who wanted to play it before it was ever released now if you get oculus supported Microsoft bedrock edition and you get the oculus downloaded link to minecraft that is windows supported but as you can see here i can aim my physical hand at blocks i can set blocks down with them we can point at the blocks we want to cut or point at the furnace but beyond that Beyond the physical act of being able to move our own hands because we can’t even see each other’s hands moving beyond being able to move our own hands and aim at things that’s it there’s no cutting there’s no slashing all they are is pointers that means that microsoft and mojang’s Only actual blueprint they would have built in for motion controls would be to give you your move controller basically just as a pointer which really it might be nice to be able to move your own physical hands but other people in the world wouldn’t necessarily be able to see that You wouldn’t be waving at them you wouldn’t be signaling them with your hands it would only be pointing to set the things down instead of using your head so really it’s not that much better even on pc from mojang when you see people actually jumping in real life and their character Jumps when you see them crouching in their character crouches again these are all with vive crap that is user made that’s why they didn’t do it i’m sure it took them four years just to make minecraft and psvr at least four years of us asking how long they’ve been working on it but Four years of us asking and it was that it’s so it’s as simple as it is it looks great it’s fun to play but we really missed out i i know not having motion support a lot of us feel like that but microsoft and mojang don’t even have anything really for us all All if they would have done it is we’d have pointers with our hands so that’s it is what it is and i know i’ve i’ve had the same way i was really hoping with how long it took them they were going to add maybe ps4 i was going to have the first True motion support we were going to be swinging our swords and holding up our shields we didn’t get that but i’m glad we got something i’m very excited about that because it’s years of waiting i’ve been wanting this forever and now that we have it nat and I can actually play it again because now that our my old gaming pc finally died i can’t play with her on another oculus so now she can play on bedrock on psvr i can and then one of us can play on the pcs we can actually play it Together with two people in the same house so i’m excited for that reason i want to say thank you for hanging out with me today i know we all want it i know i’m hoping we’re still gonna get it but there’s been no word from microsoft about us getting it So yeah we’re gonna keep open we’re gonna keep the dream alive but it it probably isn’t coming anytime soon so if you have any thoughts any comments let me know put them down there i’ll respond to you i do try to respond to all my comments i know it’s kind of crazy sometimes Keeping up with them but i like engaging with the community and all of you i really appreciate all the support especially since this minecraft series has come out we’ve seen a huge influx of people coming into the community so thank you once again i will see you in another reality I want to say a massive thank you to our six patrons now k27 rocket sauce 28 fred
