Why the Dream SMP 2 FAILED…

Back in November of 2022 we got the finale for The Dream SMP and at the end of this stream we saw a brand new world and pretty much confirmation for the dream s p season 2. but recently dream has spoken out about season two and has

Told us the reason why season two had failed and pretty much confirmation for why the dream SMP is not coming back last week dream did a stream on Twitch and taught us many things to do with season 2 and the future of Minecraft servers that he’s planning he starts off

By saying that he doesn’t think there will be a season two he says that all the plugins and storylines and everything had been written up in a document and everything was prepared for season two I’ll just be completely blunt I don’t think there’ll be a season two realistically there won’t be a season

Two if there is to be different and it’d be um it won’t be for a while if there was but I think I think politely there’s not so don’t get don’t get your hopes up but the thing is is that everything was everything was done everything was ready

SMP and even got to a point where Phil and Nicki even said that they won’t be returning for season two because they didn’t feel comfortable with this idea which makes a lot of sense and eventually people then just lost motivation and became busy things got delayed and it just ended up never

Happening and then um after a Time passed and stuff wasn’t happening and there was a and it was like for the the finales and stuff and allies took a lot longer than expected and there was some stuff that didn’t they didn’t ever come through with the finales and then I just

I honestly I lost motivation and one thing that I said whenever I um it came whenever we discussed it later on was like um definitely once it ended up kind of not happening um it was my fault but the reason that it got to that point is because just

Nobody was as motivated and nobody was as into it and for a long period of time and everyone got busy and everyone had in real life stuff and there was periods of time where I would message people and people wouldn’t reply about doing stuff and there’s periods of time where I got

Message about stuff and I wouldn’t reply there was a lot of whatever but then there was like a many multi-month time period where I was just sitting there like I don’t know I don’t know what to do I don’t know if I I don’t know if we

Should reboot I don’t know if we should do fresh stuff and then of course uh techno and obviously that complicates things and our you know our plan for a while um unfortunately before techno passed um was to do kind of a like a memory uh related thing

Um in order to have new relationships and new friendships and stuff um but then obviously that was something that Phil pointed out um after we had already like something he didn’t think about and then mentioned later on was like oh well that kind of sucks because you know like

Uh you know it’s kind of it’d be a racing stuff that you know techno has done and stuff so um that that kind of affected the plans and maybe like well then I don’t know what you know we do we change what we do do we whatever but what’s to come next

The dream SMP may be over but that doesn’t mean Minecraft servers and even Minecraft content creators in the dream s p can’t carry it on quackity has recently announced that he is creating something called the qsmp a Minecraft server which involves both English and Spanish Minecraft streamers being the

First server to do something like this which is a really cool idea if you didn’t know the Spanish Minecraft Community is massive they pretty much dominate twitch right now and to join the two massive Minecraft communities together is a very cool idea now I can’t speak Spanish but you know I might have

Potentially could be created soon meaning there’s a lot of content from these content creators who were on the dream SMP but I think the law side of things is finished the dream SMB had its storyline end and I believe it probably won’t carry on ever again there could be

A storyline in the qsmp and Tommy’s server but there will not be a continuation from the dream SMP and if you miss the stories and lore just like me then I do have a series I’ve been working on which is fully story based think of it as a story based let’s play
