packs start with hey you gave us a pair of pants that’s Lovely okay let me finish setting up my YouTube so I can see chat holy crap amazingly awesome having to there we go pop out so I can see it prioritize live chat okay there we Go that’s better starting a day with zombie snacks like you do I love it I love it okay we are in chosen mod chosen modded Adventures which is a mod pack put together by chosen architect if you haven’t checked him out you should he does wonderful modded Series super chill as well as being a very talented musician oh you have a sombrero I don’t have anything to pay with you I don’t have anything to pay you with right now sir turns out yeah okay let me also open up the window so I can see numbers Okay ah so I picked this pack because I already do a vanilla play with physics on Fridays and uh I know many of the folks who watch my videos whether this be your first time or multiple times are from the modded community and enjoy modded M Minecraft so I thought it’d be fun to have some of the streaming focus on a new mod pack I have not stopped uh the Direwolf 20 pack in fact I was on the server yesterday uh doing a little work in preparation for recording this week hey Dan good Morning how’s work so far I hope it is easy and quiet that is how I hope my day goes as well it started with a zombie in my face which is always good because I was making a thumbnail pardon me okay the things we get at the beginning here we do get a Quest book which is wonderful um and a sack which you can put small items in be wary of the sack though if you load it up with very heavy stuff it actually makes you heavy and we are in I don’t even we’re to Magnolia Woodland which I thought oh this is Spect spacular like there are bees there’s water over here there water to our South that’s another portal and a village we’ll probably head towards the Village um after I gather up some basic things like some stone is that something I think they’re little Stone Pockets that stick out oh sheeps Hi sheeps we need a bed but I think we’re just going to head for the village and I will make a wooden pickaxe here we will go up in that Tower and see what’s going on ah the awesome beginnings of Minecraft it’s my favorite part of Minecraft oh best block in Minecraft yes nice very nice uh let me make a pickaxe real quick a real pickaxe and then grab a couple more Stone yay and I’ll probably forget my crafting table so let’s go get it give me give me well before we do That I’m still in the middle of my first cup of Tea I think the priority is a sword yes and potentially oh we did all the things the only I haven’t made is a hoe which I usually do early good morning and welcome for folks joining the chat we are in chosen Architects chosen modded Adventures that it would be fun to do a Little streaming with some modded Minecraft on Mondays and Wednesdays since Fridays I’m doing a vanilla series with physics so don’t want to do too many of those at the same time and hopefully all of my sound and stuff is coming through that is my dream okay we’ve gotten a couple of Resources I got a pair of leather pants from a Zombie let’s go check out this building believe these are generated by apotheosis so these are gem oh that’s a good one got 10% life steal gems that go in your weapons and armor block ra protection so I’m just giving a quick scan uh we’re a little low on inventory Space so I’m going to not take every single oh wait that said physical damage what reduced by 5% maybe let’s see what’s in this chest up here now these lovely towers are baby trapped so it’s important that you dig underneath the chests to get all the TNT out I think there are only four pieces ouch there we go I’m also going to take the bookshelves too because Books save us a little there should be some pretty good loot in here oh yay a hat little emeralds little gold a bucket yay I won the game reative oh sharpness tool take that fancy helmet leather pants what else do you need get some of these saplings uh let’s leave some of this Stuff okay we can burn burn baby burn oh this is what our sack actually is very useful for let’s put I like the sapper Rings put the gem in there uh we’ll put the j a book the TNT stuff that I will not use right now clearly the emeralds keep the gold and Iron out saplings you’re pretty but I don’t need you um in fact let’s have all saplings stay here I think that’ll do it we’ll take uh just punch the sack to pick it up we can still run yes good let’s see if we can make it to that Village whoa before the sun sets oh dear running through the beautiful fields of Minecraft check my map T across or it f further south I want to get that um oh I see it I see it see if I can grab the chest at this nether portal Mr B look out coming Through villagers I apologize in advance if I drag zombies to your abodes oh ender pearl ingots another gem I’ll take a look at that and a wooden gear from enderio okay not crazy exciting but now I just want to um take a little Hospitality from a villager friend ah hello sir hi Kiddo oh there are chests I’ll take that potatoes little more bread some cabbage seeds oh Max Health yes please I have a feeling pumpkin seeds wow I think there’s one adult villager and all the rest are kids that’s more more power to you friend okay I do have enough iron to Make a pair of shears and we’ll take a second to look at the quest book so it is start here welcome Adventure Adventure Time welcome to the vast and wonderful world of chosen modded adventures in this Epic Journey you’ll embark on a thrilling exploration of the amazing mods available in the one Two version of Minecraft one20 should say so I joined the world so I can get and you get 16 bread a sack and a quest book as a result of that uh there are shaders I have enabled them he gives us a sword a shield and Some XP best way to get started is to head out and explore rather than immediately digging straight down to mine for diamonds exploring will help you discover an ideal location to establish your base that can lead you to discover some incredible loot I 100% agree with this I always Start out by wandering around um and then there’s a little section on how to use FTB teams and FTB teams and chunk claiming gives you a map and then it says you might have noticed the absence of tool mods like silent gear and Tinkers the reason is to Encourage you to explore and utilize alternative tools from other mods so we do have cylic we will be getting there’s apotheosis and so apotheosis actually makes the vanilla tools that you find in the world incredibly incredibly valuable Okay so we’ve done some of this got Cobblestone and he gives us a few starter Tools I’ve already killed one zombie so if we we kill um each kind of normal mob we get an ender pearl I have talked to the Traer I have not killed the Traer yet it’s awesome and then we need leather wool feathers and sticks uh for another uh freebie upgrade and as soon As I mine my first Iron I will get an iron pick so the quest book is laid out very well it’s giv giv you good rewards to get you started um I think he’s just done a lovely job creating this mod pack okay we’re actually going to not make I’m not a Shield person it’s never going to happen um I mean I may regret that maybe we’ll take that an empty map we have a map tool the boomerang is kind of cool you throw throw it and it’ll return uh resources to you so you can use it to gather resources that are Slightly far away okay wooden gears from Ender iio are super easy to make uh we got a golden axe from oh it’s got chainsaw on it what does that mean let’s try it nice okay but it has no durability okay that’s an enchantment we need to keep an eye out For um and if there’s cylic then there is a disenchanter oh there’s a disenchanter from create what a cylic it’s all kinds of fun stuff in cyclic but it can be nerfed bu the mod pack developer I don’t see it right off the bat it’s like a gine Anvil okay we’ll keep an eye out he does have some of the charms they’re charms from Minecraft charms from ARS Nuvo we’ll definitely do some of that well there we go void charm any gravity charm charm the fire charm is one of my favorites yeah we’ll definitely do Cyclic stuff okay my inventory is abysmal as per usual just save that ender pearl find some sheep so we can make a sleeping bag where are we I kind of want an ocean I kind of want to follow the waterways out to a bigger B of a bigger body of Water so we might uh follow this River to the West got to make sure I’ve gone in every house good morning what are folks doing this morning y’all chilling out at home are you at work at school hello little one yeah okay not a tremendously huge village but they did feed us a Little which is great yes we have explored that Tower my favorite wood type hi thy cluck th the luck can’t read this morning that’s a really good question I’m very fond of Oak however however Spruce I think I think it’s got to be Spruce only because it’s so it looks so Good with all other Woods that’s that’s what I like about it dark oak is kind of a close second um yeah I like them all I really loved AAA like AAA has its place and I do not dismiss Birch Birch is an underrated did I are y’all just not Giving great wool come on man there we go how about yours what’s your chosen mod pack Adventure dark oak and Spruce okay I’m with you that combo is kind of amazing I actually I actually like putting together Birch and dark oak not the birch logs but Birch planks and dark oak planks CU it looks like chocolate and cream to me it’s amazing oh cows you know we’re going to Need a backpack so I feel like we need some cows cows and sheep here to contribute to our backpack fund if you will hi mow thank you that’s a mod I need is a pair of shears that just shears the leather off the couch it’s probably Gross I don’t know that’s just so bad I have to whack them in the face oh I wonder if that’s a villager a dungeon thing I’m guessing it’s a dungeon thing where are these sheep they’re much further back here than I thought ah okay these found these when I first Did play through they are I did a test play through for a couple hours kblo pulp they’re K Bloom plants there there’s one they go boom I’m really they scared the absolute crap out of me because lot of time okay we have to get picky about our inventory put the seeds away put the ender pearl away but night will I ever use that maybe maybe that’ll come un useful in a cave possibly and while we’re here let’s uh Make a smoker and cook up some of this fabulous cow that’s why I’ve been saving all the wooden tools and sticks I could probably put that um and I haven’t let’s see this one does have an empty socket none of our other stuff has an empty socket to put some of these gems In yet oh fire extinguisher do I need it to carry around fire extinguisher cows you’re so loud seriously sheep whatever you are okay and we also need wool which I think we can wool we need string and if we have integrated Dynamics a regular squeezer will give me String from wool that is a lot of iron though okay that’s something to keep in mind maybe we’ll run across that’s part of the reason I want to kind of head to the water maybe we’ll run across another uh Village type thing to help us with string because you know me I love To fish okay let’s pick up all these goodies and head out with our beautiful Magnolia boat I know I backtrack to get come here sheep a backtrack to get wool and leather for a backpack now we need string that’s our mission and I’ll snack look at this ter rain Gorgeous shaders I do have shaders active fuel for a furnace anything I have in my pocket that I don’t need I’m notorious for burning up stuff like oh I don’t need that crafting table I’ll just use it as furnace fuel I don’t need that axe or that old Pickaxe um in vanilla buckets of lava I mean I know it’s it’s not renewable but it Cooks a lot of stuff unless I set up an automated Farm uh like a kelp furnace Farm is fantastic sorry having a little sip of tea drinking some Earl Gray this morning in Modded uh what is that crazy mod uh it’s very op it’s in the latest direwolf pack and it has like a oh the nether gobber the gobber mod oh here’s another Tower let’s go see what’s in there the Gober mod has uh fuels that you both find and can craft that stuff Is amazing like the Gober nether fuel item drop Cooks like something ridiculous like 500 items oh those are wild carrots might come back for those okay we have another apotheosis Tower let’s go uh see what’s in the chest before you watch before the end of this Series I will forget that there is TNT in these towers just you wait like tempted oh an iron axe you know what that’s not that expensive and I have emeralds I mean it’s sad that iron is more valuable than emeralds right now in Minecraft thank you sir I’m actually going to it’s a mod pack put together by chosen architect who is a Content developer for YouTube I actually watch watch many of his series regularly modded Adventure it just seemed like a really well balanced um pack that also has an emphasis on Building like so he’s got a lot of decorator stuff oh yeah one piece of coal woo oh it’s a field that’s awesome give me all the stuff super click I wonder why that weird random stuff was floating bread okay we do not need seeds I will take the wheat and the Bread and the emerald and the one iron ingot yeah okay this this where my packs are great give me give me we do like of this and like of this and I got to open the backpack to get stuff and we upgrade it like that do I have Enough oh I do so now our backpack is this big upgraded with iron and if we take all of our gold which I know other people would use it for other things but now the backpack is enormous and awesome okay let’s put our uh you know These one off are a great thing to use the sack for so let’s trade these out we’ll do I’ll take things that are multiples and put them in the backpack and things that are singles and put them in the sack nice all the things raw fish iron axe bed that’s video or I think it’s going to take two more videos to get to an actual train some of that automation is craziness oh life steal overheal let’s see do not Have do not have a slot in our weapons okay we are not forgetting there is TNT in the this is me not forgetting there’s TNT every time take some books be a lot of raiding these towers because the chests are so good okay aqua affinity beheading back out let’s see if I Don’t put the Cabbage seeds in there TNT Fence oh that’d be fantastic I also am working on doing a community server we have a dedicated box that I run all the servers on but right now it’s just friends and family I got to figure out what what I want to do with that Testing out your con oh so you make are you going to make a mod pack that would be very cool start on an island and a void and then jump down to the surface huh I think that would be cool oh okay I’m looking for Open Water Here do we get all the buildings in this area I think so I’m avoiding the Pillager Outpost like the plague there is a nether portal to our West let’s go really quickly check that out I don’t find the nether chests have really great stuff in them but you Know a couple pieces of gold wouldn’t go a miss and maybe this is open water and not a closed Lake I’m going to be looking looking for shipwrecks and um they have like there were little ships with villagers fishing ships with villagers oh yeah there’s some gold Nice um these little fishing ships with villagers that were full of string and raw fish like a ton of them dark steel an iron ingot golden carrots wow jackpot uh obsidian we won’t turn that down Frost Walker 2 life mending really not the gold stuff You know I know we need it for the nether but whatever okay that Um nuggets I’m going to turn into an ingot look at this okay how are we on Open Water this maybe ow I see that’s a windmill across the way but I don’t see another Village okay distraction getat a snack uh for y’all who don’t know these little shells on The beach if you pick them up throw them in a crafting inventory they give you bone meal how great is that we’ll in fact I’ll pick up a few because having a stack of bone meal is never bad what is that wild cabbage we’ll be able to find That pick up the shells turn them into bone meal uh I do want to keep an eye out for flax because that’s a great way to grow string pretty curious as to why that one little windmill is out there by itself don’t know traveling onward actually got a data pack to make The mechanics work that’s a yep yep have I ever played Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword no I have not and fabric I’m with you I the other pack I considered and will probably just be the next pack after we’ve kind of played through this one is uh better Minecraft but the fabric Edition 100% in um creative working on farms for like Months and months like I swear every every two days she comes up out of the basement and says I have a new chicken farm it’s hilarious but I could tell that she hadn’t played survival in like months like a very long time thanks the boat is uh don’t even Know it’s whatever wood I have in my inventory Magnolia from a magnolia wood which is the first place we spawned in I looked out I got the spawn was just gorgeous I was like yep it’s perfect it’s good let’s go oh I feel like I just turned around map map Check okay that might be open water South might be open water um oh that’s where we came from oh we came down here yes my map orientering yes it is how do I survive in vanilla without any Maps that’s why I take screen shots of coordinates it is complimentary shaders aren’t they Gorgeous I’m going to set up I normally play with Silvers because I like all of the other options for them um but the I am they like a very big fan whatever the defaults he’s got these set up as um they give you the where the increased Lighting in caves it doesn’t Look so dark and that’s a was a huge part of my complaint with shaders initially there’s actually a really good video I’ll try to remember to link it in the description once the um live stream goes onto the channel That where uh the gentleman runs you through like really important Settings for making your shaders not look like shaders it makes them look so you can actually see stuff uh down in the depths yay another ender pearl more iron inot oh Ender IO upgrades welded Wings we need those for ARS Novo Golden Gloves H let’s see I think those can go I also need to sleep huh let’s do that first sleeping on a Nether Portal can’t nav curse like I can’t navigate either uh yeah that’s catching I oh a dream catcher did I get that from sleeping next to another portal gives one random effect for 249 seconds and waking up what’s my Effect I don’t know I don’t have an effect oh I for this another portal who knows sometimes they don’t have them and I do not have a diamond pickaxe I cannot mine the obsidian yet ah oh by the way while I have People uh how is the game versus the game balance versus my mic versus the music like does anything need to be turned up or down are we good that is not open water that might be that’s Ice Ice Ice Baby Oh there’s deep water okay we’re going to do a tiny bit of Backtracking yes let’s go over here and up yes yes yes she’s not the only one directionally challenged it’s true I like complimentary shaders and I use a resource pack for Sky called dramatic Sky yes that is I have a couple of folks I play um have played with for a very long Time and they use the Old Faithful as their texture pack complimentary shaders and the dramatic Skies of course that’s cool I’m I’m kind of a fan of the traditional Minecraft sky and a huge part of that is when I was first learning how to play Survival and I was terrible at it And I go was right back in 1.7 I learned that the clouds always move from east to west and so that’s how I learned to navigate in Minecraft was with the little Minecraft clouds so for me that’s like super nostalgic that the original clouds that first helped me in Survival are still up there in the sky when I look up okay you can hear me which is most important good that is very important and I don’t want the game sounds to overwhelm anything but they are very quiet on my little equalizer thing okay we’re going to see if there’s Open ocean over here wow the ocean sounds just got really creepy there’s wind points system that allows them ultimately to get let’s say rewards for those downloads I don’t know That that actually translates into any kind of income what I wish it would um but perhaps it does and I just don’t understand it very well but yeah I use curse Forge that’s the short answer I’m stealing the stone cutter thank you because iron is precious I 100% will be making an Vanilla iron farm at some point oh okay these are much better pants Dwarven iron leggings of stubbornness that’s accurate oh silk touch hoe silk touch ho out of cont text that sounds pretty funny okay so these are much better pants five armor one armor toughness knockback resistance and healing and They have an empty socket and so what we want to do if you didn’t know this about apotheosis stuff we want to make a tool I can’t even remember what it’s called but you make it with nope I go backwards yes possibly there it is a smithing table it’s two iron ingots and Four woods and use a smithing table to apply the gems to your armor and weapons and so I want to look at the gems that we have and pick one that can go on these leggings so Shields core armor adds one armor toughness adds 8% Max health I think That’s the one we want to use so we take our new fancy leggings and they have an empty socket and we can add that gem to them and now they have an additional eight health that is some good paint so you see my if I eat my hearts Will actually go up so that’s actually two almost two rows of Hearts just from my armor that’s awesome okay so we can get rid of those uh oh I have more than a stack of bone meal let’s discard that too keep the quest book keep our Boat uh we can put what in here I could put that Infinity biometal here because I will not use that right now and I’m going to pick up the smithing table as well our discards keep the smithing table anything else I don’t Need where did I put all I fig I feel like I have a lot more bones than that maybe not I guess not I still don’t know what this is the Artisan Relic uh yes apotheosis is absolutely the one with all the turbo enchants like they’re insane and you can get your Chanting enchanting table up to crazy levels as well which is fun we’ll try to do that too I want the streaming to be very chill and kind of Adventure exploration oriented because that’s what I like to do but I also am a builder and so we’ll get to Building I guess my goal for today is maybe find a place um what’s up with the hose like I’m getting some great like this is one has silk touch one has mending if I could find an anvil I would have an Uber ho don’t always or I would have to spend hours looking it up like all the stuff like the one bed sleep is configurable in the server like you don’t have to uh there’s nothing fancy required like it’s all just part of it and that started out as data packs right so I Think data packs are a great way uh to encourage moang to add like quality of life options to the servers you know I’m like a little bit low on Cobblestone here let’s add to that there we go coal I mean it is Minecraft we should probably oops wrong button probably Spend some time mining okay I’ll save a stack of Cobble lucky Rock 25% what are these we need one leather four iron four string that’s not outside the r a Possibility and then what was the actual okay here’s the stack oh that’s right stack upgrades require blocks of iron okay we’ll have to wait for an iron farm for that but we can do the crafting table in our inventory we just need a crafting table a chest and two iron along with the Basic upgrade which ironically you need a crafting table to make okay and four iron here we go upgrade base and then a chest and a crafting table which wish you could use the crafting table you’re using cuz I want to get rid of the crafting table that’s the whole point Okay and if we put this in our backpack now we have a tab with a crafting table which is very cool oops and that actually technically is nine more Slots of storage because if you leave the crafting tab open it actually holds the items which is cool like you could put All your single use weapon things in there The Mending hoe awesome now we have a crafting table in our backpack back so I can leave this one we’ll leave it the next time we need it wow that seems like a long way to that Tower let’s go yeah with the beautiful Minecraft music In the armor knockback three max Health this is better armor and it’s a turtle helmet so it should give me yeah water breathing kind of permanently which is great I think we’re going to not have the chain back uh how many spaces do we have 54 how about the Wen wings and the seats there we go and we’ll save the gem and The Mending book that mending book is fantastic once we get a good armor piece that we don’t want to lose okay we have an empty socket in the helmet core armor adds four luck helmets adds 12.5% attack damage we’re probably going to wear this helmet for a while let’s do that because
