the festive holidays and it needs to be somewhere with snow so I beseech after it stops raining what a way to kill the mood we go and locate a place where there is Lots of snow and start building a few houses for um for for I like how you just set the weather so you say there’s lots of snow to this Sur is there let’s have a look there is wow uh yeah cuz the desert’s to the north and we’ve got lots of swamp land And forests and plains around the area that we live in so we should head south and with this new elely you would given me we’ll do just that oh there’s a snow village ah that would of sorts and build houses and then the weeks after that it would be kind of the main article of making it Christmasy Village so add the cool and whatnot I need to uh make it of an axe leave open leave thought here uh fellas maybe it’d be wise to shave the trees a little bit you know cuz um I Was planning on making the final week uh build a giant Christmas tree as you can imagine um we’re probably going to need quite a few of the leaves so maybe shave the trees a bit then chop them down just an idea Pac go I have 30 stacks of leaves okay I Think we’re okay on leaves never mind Max did Max did to definitely um mine out some ways I wonder if we should do a pathway of Sorts now which way is this this is to the east so to the South maybe kind of like having a Christmas tree you know whenever I think of Christmas towns or locations part of my mind always goes to those um you know those old classics you’ve got like uh The A Christmas Carol the M Christmas Carol the superior version where you know it’s all like the Ye Old streets of Landon and all that jazz or Miracle 34th Street which is also just rows upon rows of streets you need to have like a I don’t know a a cobblestone street of Sorts or I suppose we can keep it traditional and just have like a little to Village you know what actually that sounds better that’s a lot more cozy let’s do it that way we’ll have log houses we’ll have to have a few other buildings as well we’ll have to have a I Don’t know a building for every single type of uh building there is in the normal town maybe a hospital or a bank or um a mayor’s office yes Just just just a small winter Bood maybe a workshop as well a Santa’s Workshop but I feel like that’s a big Challenge and that would require a lot of finesse and creativity also we don’t really have toys do we path Works through are done uh yeah they spread outwards Randomly H I guess you’ve got this one over here that goes this way of sorts yeah you’ve got what four directions the paths go out yeah to that way to that way to that way to that way don’t want to have them kept on North something yeah it looks too Familiar if you do that yeah that works let’s um we can Branch them off a tiny bit and we can make um houses either side and fill up the village easily that way I’ll clear out the trees that might be in the way of the paths and once again I stress if you Guys are watching at home and you want to partake in this festive joy and spirit you are more than welcome to this is a public server after all accessible via the Discord in the Cobble uh mon chat with all the instructions on how to join so if you’re feeling festive and You want to come and stake your claim on one of these little houses and make a make a memory that might last forever come and uh you know Christmas when I was young uh when I when I was young um I mean we’re talking very young it was like probably five at the time I remember some of the earliest Christmases I used to celebrate were at Um my Nan’s house and my nan used to go all out on the decorations used to like have obviously a massive Christmas tree and I mean huge it was like at least probably an 8ot Christmas tree and uh like you know tons of like oldfashioned decorations that were like made of clay And like some of them were animated and uh honestly it was real like you know had a really warm feeling to it and and when it comes to Christmas I I feel like the feeling of wolf is uh always been um just familiar around winter you know obviously it’s the probably the coldest Part of the year and many people struggle to stay warm um but I’ve always imagined having a place to go and staying cozy is probably one of the most important things to get through the uh winter holidays for myself um there have been many of times where I haven’t had The fortune of um spending it with many people and um often those memories were uh you know they they got me through but then I started like streaming and getting to know more people and spending time with friends um and family and whatnot and I started to realize that Yeah this time of year it should be spent with um people you care about but it doesn’t mean that you can rob you need to Rob yourself of opportunity too uh there have been many times where I’ve been traveling or um at maybe at a university or something and spending Time at the university around the holidays was actually really nice cuz I was like you know out meeting friends uh in new places and other stuff how about making an X Stree but instead of leaves it’s fire but not destruction type I how we do there’s a little bridge over there we could make use of all of this even goes underground into a t look at that an intricate cave Network could I have more wood please I’m on my way I’m we’ll have to wait to see who shows up this year still we do have new faces and and uh I got to say some of these new faces are rather intelligent when it comes to design you uh you make Some of the most fascinating things I can imagine if I left you to your own devices on well this idea we might see something even better than the first uh Seasons that we had went with the campfire still I would also like to do more events around the year but you know With work and life and friends and family and such I sadly don’t have time to host many things but I can always make time for winter with the campfire this is more of a event that has more of a place in my heart it’s it’s about helping and meeting strangers not being Alone cuz no one should be alone at this time of year so that’s why we have all this plus we need to decide on which movies we’re watching first I have voted for home alone but maybe I should off like do a poll and see what people want to Watch I think one year I left it like completely open and I think a movie that wasn’t even Christmas themed was chosen and I was like I why are we watching a non Christmas theme movie but then again maybe not everyone celebrates Christmas then again I think the majority of the People in Winter the campfire do so yeah I don’t know we’ll figure it out as time goes on am I I missed a tree oh this just shaping up nicely I’ll have to uh put some pathing down maybe I’ll build a bridge yeah I think I might actually do That raise this up a tiny bit keep the pathing nice put a nice little wooden bridge just going over to that Arch there and then people can dig into the mountain and build a Santa’s Workshop or maybe something else I have no idea either way I was away for a month And these fellas got to work with building Contraptions and machines and hotels and such and uh winter with the campfire this time is three weeks so they have one less week but uh the motivation and the ideas must be Brewing already I look forward to see What they uh they have in mind all things will be kept on the server by the way anything that’s made and it uh yeah we’ll uh we’ll take a snapshot of it and keep it safe somewhere so uh it’s never lost a time right how am I going to do This those trees are are clearing out you know actually let me keep clearing out El be were trees that’s an easy job I can do Jesus I forgot you trying to think of a Christmas Town what does a Christmas Town need uh a Christmas tree Christmas lights Christmas presents we’ve got okay no no No hold on hold on you’re going on the decoration side of things no no no we need a town first it needs buildings um lamp posts lamp posts are a good addition that we could do but they would come after the houses I’m trying to think of camp fire Fire you’re just you’re just not allowed to no you’re Max where the shoing place can get stuff for my house oh deer type Pokémon they will be about it needs a oh oh that’s a good idea a clock tower one of those clock towers that like has the Massive clock faces on it kind of like a Big Ben that’s what we should have oh wait are you have you literally decided to build one here Town Hall over central building that would work but it needs to be would it be here that’s so close to The tree the tree will take up a large amount of space so other large buildings need to be sort of kind of down the road or something it’s like that in every large Christmas Town isn’t it you have um you don’t want to put two big things next to each other because they Overshadow one another or they’re too close it’s hard to see the Christmas trees should be surrounded by small houses and such so they don’t take yeah I think he he’s pushing it back if you want exactly uh hold on hold on what’s let me reach out can I have I can push This back yes uh can I have my ax oh wait wait wait yeah sorry friend there you go he just took back his ax no no he gave it me he told me to go chop down trees it’s one of those never axes that can chop stuff Down um what does it need okay so how am I imagining this right is that a nightmare over there I see a nightmare over there I think someone else has slept I think it’s qualified to be a designer of a town uh it’s called a phantom bird I I don’t play Minecraft it’s after you AB you haven’t slept right I would do the Following the Christmas Tre should be sort of like a town square of sorts it wouldn’t have any large buildings around it nothing too fancy nothing too shancy and there should be Pathways of such leading from it to get down the main streets the high streets and whatnot you should have um And then you should have something at the end of the streets is there how many beds do we have just hop in any bed it’s less we don’t need everyone we just need one of okay there we go I can’t M this monsters nearby damn it all right buddy Okay this one works we got it can you not try to set me a light in my bed Max I appreciate you I’m not what you just did Charlie okay so what’s this these are houses these are fine houses are fine but where would everything go light race uh This Town Hall needs Removing you need for now and then the pathways I agreed not having a NorthEast Southwest Max hold on I’m trying to I’m trying to work mate you’re you’re distracted it you know I’m going to just stand over here it it needs to have kind of like the main Central pathway going along I am going to kill Ian if Max be allowed again time him out right if if I were to design this yeah because this is the most open so you’d have a Main Street coming down here sort of like where you would approach to enter The Christmas tree area and then I have a few houses around it then I have sort of like a town square area but then opposite the Town Square area you need the um you need the town hall of s sorts you need you need to have like a Big Clock Tower and a and a at a maral building and such that’s what I’m that’s what I’m imagining but along all the way down it either side of the paths you have many small houses and such what do you think I’m trying to think the problem we’ve got is Hanks built a Small abod for himself sort of on the hill that overlooks the Christmas tree so I’m thinking maybe we could build it the opposite direction cuz that could be the workshop if you want you could fly up take a screenshot go into paint and joid out LW I could you’re a genius I’m wait Hold On I was I panicked that started typing all right hold on um game mode creative I’m cheating right let me have a look at this I need to look at the layout of the town and see how we can do this obviously I’m not going to start Spawning stuff in because that would be a bit cheesy but hm that might work for the workshop of sorts the Town Square is awfully small right now but the housing around it works I’d say that house here might need pushing back a bit cuz it’s it’s too close to the tree The tree needs like a square of sorts a bit of space the other houses are fine it’s just that one one house there the the the rotated one and then if we were to maybe shave off that mountain a tiny bit there we could have an archway of sorts And then put the town hall on the other side with a clock tower then we could quite literally just put paing around these lumps and have like maybe a little tunnel at work or maybe an indoor market that goes through the mountain and out I’m going to have to draw this Aren’t I I’m going to have to sketch my idea or we could do it naturally cuz after all designed things look unnatural in a sense I’ve always like roughing it up you know going surviv is cheating I’m looking at the environment Max I would just dirt log it Otherwise no Max talk to me are you destroying stuff no of course not good I meant like you spawning stuff in like checking right yes I got myself some steak you’re righty kill her bur her at the steak burn her with the staks okay we might need to move Hank’s house But oh Hank Hank said he’s hello Hank so that part of land could be where Hank builds here and we could just build around him unless I just make the pathway and We just fill in those gaps There I don’t know I imagine we can always adjust things after to make it look better but we definitely need to build something down this way a pathway of such is that a yeah has an actual C just realized Hanks mil tank now I get the joke he said he CAU a Mil tank earlier and I thought he just caught a mil T and it’s just a cow superb right yes we can fix this we’re going to have to change the landscape cuz I’m awfully bloody picky Hank you’re going to have to move your uh should I give him a Lead you’re going to give Hank a lead yeah so we can move his C there we go Hank I’ve given you a lead you can move your cow right I’ll let him move the fences as well ank now has Hanks mang’s now following him okay I have an idea what To do we need to remove these two split paths and change it for one instead long path and we’ll call it the um we’ll call it the Main Street yes it needs to be parallel with the Christmas tree think of it like a long stretch of road with houses either Side leading up to the town hall I should be really helping out with this in fact oh leave his cow alone crap who’s killing his cow no one I’m just protecting protecting the C we’re going to cover this up a bit for now we’re can always change it you be or make it something better My Pikachu looks like it’s gunning for your mil tag I just realized Han looks like he’s a lonely lonely like Trader just like walking his cow like trying to get someone to sell something house can I just wanted in am I cheating I think I’m In creative mode I am in cre mode I need to change get out no okay so we can still do a pathway of sorts there we go and then this will be Main Street which leads up to the Grand Christmas tree but they either side we’ll have housing and Whatnot we should rather than using dirt flooring though we should totally make it tiled at some point maybe Cobblestone brick or whatever you can put houses in between Maybe Yes oh Coral I do like the idea of that okay we figured that out this is going to be an exciting little thing by the way this first um project by the way where it comes to building the town hall and whatnot we got one week after that the second week It’s all about decorating and then the third week we finished the tree what is it Max what is this it’s kind of pretty I like it let me just change my game mode back into Adventure what is it survival survival yes all right I have figured it Out this is how it’s going to be this long stretch of land it’s bookshelf but a better one ah you could do that I think the one year we did do an event similar to this where it was kind of like a Minecraft server where you could build and decorate we we enabled Everyone to be in creative mode now as much as now you hold on well you got to remember back then Minecraft wasn’t um as beautiful as it were it it was kind of a bit more simplistic we had colors and whatnot with the Red Blocks and Stuff like that but you know it was okay it was very basic so people did get awfully creative the problem is by putting up on a creative mode once someone had an idea they would build it immediately quickly I feel like by doing it in survival mode It adds that little bit of extra challenge yeah yeah please do something you want to Hearts yeah I do I stress people out when I play games cuz I don’t ever take care of Myself yeah I need to shave this mountain a tiny bit I just need to chop down these trees there’s so much to do right but yeah we have 7 days to clear out this land build houses and make it a proper town a place for festive cheer and Whatnot the second week decorations we will make it look festive and then on the get sped Thanks Max why does he do this why does he do it whenever I’m trying to talk to everyone he decides to run up and be make himself the center of attention Me bye Max okay right yes and on the third week we finished the tree cuz right now the tree is not looking too good did your cow evolve into a deer what is that his deer did he capture that it is festive you know if we have If we have like eight of those we can make a slay ideas for the future right I’m going to get to work I say we don’t have much time but we have an entire week and uh yeah I like the idea of building this little town of Sorts I just need decide how far back the town hall is going to be where the plot of land should be h I put it to between these ridges is that too far or Too Close I know what do you think you’re quite good with your designs so are you Max you could have houses built off the ground into the rock face see that’s what I was thinking like these Rock faces are nice but they’re a bit boring right so maybe we could Have something a bit more interesting like I could always make more rockface true imagine like Mountainside homes but there’s like um stairway passages to get up to the housing right like down here we could have obviously wooden homes and Cobblestone homes and whatnot but the mountain sides They could have stairways uh as Pathways and then they could build be built into the mountain toop so then there’s where people go like a strange little village of sources there’s too many ideas rolling around in my head right now what are you going to make Abby uh a mess y That’s [Laughter] Yep God I hate putting torches in my left hand cuz I always place them just going to take them off there we go oh yeah I did get GID of booksha it’s chisel bookshelf that was a thing right just focus on one thing if you focus on too much you’re going to do Nothing yeah I know that’s hello that’s the ADHD kicking in I do that every year I get excited for projects and then I end up like starting a thousand and accomplishing nothing and it’s like H it’s never good for now I’m going to sort out the pathway leading up to the town Hall oh maybe I put the town hall on a hill I really don’t know he really does no I’m serious I’m thinking of like where things could go and it’s like there’s so many opportunities and ideas but like will they look nice who keeps yeah and then like the left and right side of this who knows maybe we Could put like Market stalls or just like a house over here and that I I want to keep it flavorsome and like definitely town-like you know okay Market would be Nic that’s what I’m thinking right yeah just little things like uh you could have blacksmiths you could have a doctors you Can the blackith you can have a PP Center every town he’s a blacksmith you can have a a stable for horses you can have um a reindeer place and put a ton of Stantler in there you could have oh that should be a really good idea someone should definitely go around and Capture like all the dite Pokémon and then build a um um um what’s it called a parish stable no not a stable it’s a thingy it’s a a ranch a ranch that’s a thing and then fill it up with um deer type Pokémon and then you can get some name tags and then You could en them all after the and Blitz CP Christmas idea right there I think the god I remember when I was younger and like remembering the like reindeer names was like a big deal I’ll ask if bu kers watching the stream uh B are you watching the Stream I’m not plugging him the stream I’m simply stating that he might ass that I had fun making I don’t mind making why didn’t you make something that you find fun then I wouldn’t mind making a little laxmas in that case maybe look online For an inspiration give us the idea but that is true you know what we should just have uh I could just post it in the cobon chat can’t I I’m sure I won’t all right okay I will have to stop the stream soon sadly because obviously you can feel Your eyes droing that and the fact we’ve got to be up early tomorrow cuz obviously we’re going on adventure IRL but I do Train’s going to be on strike uh if they are they are I can’t do
